The outfit I wanna shoecase today is the exclusive of the “The 24” event. The “Frida” outfit will only be available during the “The 24” and only 100 copies are existing. The outfit comes with amazing looking burleque pants, that carry a wonderful texture which is ornamented with a little hearts that has wings attached. The top, like the pants, is mesh made and carries a whole picture as a texture and with the amazing headpice it really is a crazy outfit… like i love it 😉 .

Summer Goodbye with Epic, Maimai & Finesmith

The weather becomes colder again and the kisses of the sunbeams are not that hot anymore. But still, we have some days with more sun than rain and they can be warm enough for a last journey to the beach

That’s why Dahriel and me decided we wanna have some fun at the beach with Epicosity designs.(see the full post at: http://crazyconnection.wordpress.com/2013/08/30/crazy-connection-already-goodbye-for-the-summer/)

I have to admit, I never heard about Epicosity before, but Dahriel was talking so good about them that I became curious. I was really surprised as a while later I got a very nice and kind IM and some boxes sent by the designer. Early Christmas! I ran home and unpacked them and I have to admit Dahriel was right. The amazing “Monokini” that comes in 3 different color pattern versions really is something special. The mesh bathing suit comes with a HUD for each set and you can change the textures and colors in a lot of different parts and versions. I started playing around a bit and finally chose the teal/blue color. I wanted to go for a light elegant look, as I loved the vintage touch of the “Monokini”. So I added the “Crystal Reality”. This jewelry from Finesmith usually comes with a full dress, but I loved the shape and color so much and it was the perfect addition for this look for me.

The hair was one of the releases of Miamai for the Hairfair 2013. The teal colored flower with the white pearl in the middle totally catched the vibe I wanted to have to my look.

As the question came to the poses he asked me if we could not use some of our own poses since we both make poses now. I was very grateful for this idea and that he asked for that and started looking through my self made poses.

Sure he has a wider range to choose from since he has his amazing huge store for quiet some time, but we managed to find one each of our own creations that in the end matched together .

Today I would like to lead your view on one of the latest releases from deviousMind (!dM). For “The 24” event, Chandra Meehan created a wonderful and sexy dress called “Yve”.

“Yve” is part of kinda a new mini collection of deviousMind. The thing that combines all of the new designs are the ivy petals that are used for ornaments, decoration and parts of the textures. The “Yve” dress has a super cool feature. If you purchase one at “The 24” event, where it is sold as an exclusive design, you will get a hell lot of options with that dress.

As I unpacked my “Yve” dress, i first looked for the HUD, as I saw at the advertise, that it should be color change. Since the dress it self is mesh made, I thought you can change the texture and color by a HUD. But there was none and as I anyways was talking to Chandra, I asked her and she told me to just touch the dress… I was like… “oook but mesh you usually cannot touch, if it is rigged” but she just answered that if SL gives me trouble by touch only, I should just right click it and choose the option touch. I was very surprised after I touched the dress and got a menu. With the menu you can easy recolor the dress to your likings. The “Ivy” dress comes in various sizes so you can make sure you get one to fit your shape. As well you will find 2 version of each size for the dress, one metallics and one metallic material, where you can choose from. This dress is really a must have for all who dare to be different 😉

You still have a few days left to get one of the “Yve” at the “The 24” event, but hurry only 100 are available and there is not too much left!

The “Dream” hairstyle and the “Wild Garden” necklace are one of the latest releases of EMO-tions. The hair style is perfect for any elegant or even fashionista look. The ears are free and you can showcase perfectly earrings and jewelry ;). The “Wild Garden” is a wonderful necklace of the mesh jewelry collection of EMO-tions. With the filigree lines in black and silver and the little decorations, that are added on them it made the perfect finish for my today’s look.

Chop Zuey: Art in Second Life ;)

The idea for this post was born when I visited the Arts in Hats event, that was happening not too long ago. Belle Roussel, owner and designer of Chop Zuey, made the wonderful “In Memory of a Watermelon Fascinator” for that event and from the moment I saw it, I had the imagination of being in a museum watching art.

The wonderful “La Traviata” gown as well is one of the newest creations of Chop Zuey. Belle started to make full gowns with matching jewelry parts not too long ago and opened her new Sky Boutique, where you can find all this amazing creations. The “La Traviata” gown is available in different colors but with my addiction to black clothing, I certainly picked the black version for the post 😉 The wonderful black gown is mesh made and the amazing jewelry parts, like the upper end of the gloves, the beautiful shoulder part, as well the earrings, bracelets and the necklace are part of the gown. Basically Belle made a ready to wear outfit for all lovers of the elegant evening wardrobe ;).

The hat is one of the amazing creations of Xenobia Foxclaw. She made an amazing collection of black and white hats and the “Blackwell No. 6” is just one of them. So you might wanna go over to the Xen’s Hats Mainstore if you wanna see ll of the new releases ;).

The hair is one of the amazing hairstyles of EMO-tions. The “Chevia” hairstyle was made in a special color for Miss Chevia, as she won the auction of the FFL event, where Mirja Mills, owner and designer of EMO-tions, auctioned herself off for charity. I am very happy that Mirja now gave this hairstyle to all of us as, it is an amazing elegant hairstyle that still has some edges 😉

Now I just had to try building a little to realize my imagination of the museum at night thing 🙂 . Those who know me, might figure what it took until I had those few prims together and some texture on it. Usually if I try to build you have something apocalyptic looking something where you really have to have a good imagination to figure out what I wanted to do originally *laughs*. But after some hours it worked out somehow and … tatataaaaa… here it is 🙂

Wicca’s Wardrobe: Today at LeeZu 07/16/2013

Today I was in an elegant mood, as I prepared for my shift at LeeZu. I pulled out the “Tatum Gown”, one of the lastest additions to the LeeZu Mainstore. What I liked the most, was the combination of flexible prims and the mesh basic and gloves. Lately so much clothing is only mesh made and that easyly can look boring. LeeZu made the best descison to cover the parts wit mesh that actually really make sense like the body and the arms. Gloves that go over the ellbows look so much nicer when mesh made as just with layers or with pirms. The great flexi parts of the skirt give the whole design some life, as you can see them moving dreamy with every step you take or every turn you do.

Since I always have to add something crazy when I wear gowns (yes I was charged that not only once *grins*), I decided to wear one of the new hairstyles of [Bizarre Hair], that MyStiCa Matova, owner and designer of [Bizarre Hair] released for the Hair Fair 2013 that just started. The “Chandelier” hair comes with a full jewelry set as well to matc the amazing pearls that are part of the hair style. With a simple chat command you can even turn the candles on and off what adds a smooth warm light when the candels burn 😉

Last but not least I would like to drag your attention on the skin. Malicia Python, owner and designer of Silken Moon, made me a new tone of my Wicca skin *jumps around like crazy*. She already made me that wonderful Wicca skin, that I used to redo my whole avatar and now she made me a special version of my skin in her ‘lumee’ tone. I was telling her that I sometimes ywould like to have a very light and pale version of my skin, especally for fantasy or avantgarde stylings, that still carries my freckles and dimples and all my amazing face features. Since I really liked my new look without the eyebrows she made that incredble, beautiful looking new skin for me. Great news for all Silken Moon lovers and those, who own one of Malicia’s fantastic skins… Mal now made the new enhancement HUD for the SLINK mesh feets and mesh hands!

Lately I was asked so many times, how I found a skin that I am so happy with that I am not willing to change. The answer is easy… Malicia made me my custom skin with all those things I dreamed of on my personal skin. If I think back, how many lindens I spent for various skins and always I had one thing that I did not like… the idea of a custom made skin was the best idea ever. You can talk about your likings and develope a skin with your skin designer and make it so personal, that you not ever wanna change again, as it kinda becomes a part of yourself 😉 With the new addition of all those tattoo layers, you only need one basic skin, that you can wear always and add up all those amazing makeups that are out on the grid to make it match to every look 😉

But now.. time to leave for my LeeZu shift 😉

Today I have the great pleasure to showcase 2 new releases of 2 mazing brands. *PosESioN* and !:Lybra:!.

Lemme start with the incredible glasses.

*PoseESioN* made amazing glasses for the actual L’Accessories event. The “Idol” glasses come in 8 different colors, so what ever you wanna match with them, you will find the right color 😉

I would like to thank my sweet briother Dahriel for the opportunity to pose with the incedible Absi for the vendor of the “Idol” glasses 🙂 .

Now I would like to drag the attention to the amazing dress I am wearing. The greatest news on that one are… Lybra Rage is back! Formerly known from the brand House of Rage, where he was designing together with Topaz Joubert and LovelyMiwako7399 Menna. He now is back and opened his own brand !:Lybra:!.

I was totally amazed as he sent me one of his firt dresses called “Vex”.

The incredible short dress is a fireworks of textures and and stunning arrangement of mesh and prims. I love how the new mesh and the ‘older’ prims work together so well and give the dress some life. The flexible prims go so well with the mesh corset and I love the combination.

For the jewelry I took parts of the new “Bali” gown from Finesmith. The collar and the high waist belt went perfect with the “Vex” dress of !:Lybra:!. The “Rose” belt and collar are decorated with amazing roses at the sides and wonderful huge gemstones in the front and in the back.

The shoes are one of my favourites from [Diktator], the “Envy” stilettos. With their horns and spikes they made the perfect match for me to the rest of the styling 😉

To give the whole look a little more edges I used parts or the new “Insect” set that my sweet brother Dahriel made not too long ago, as I thought they go s nice with the tentacles of the “Idol” glasses 😉

New Collection at Devious Minds!

A few days ago Persia Bravin stormed my inventory asking me if I would have seen the latest releases of Devious Mind and I was like .. “Oh uhm.. aehm .. no…” and was trying hard to remember that brand. I know, that I heard it before but I could not really recall what it was. Persia kept talking, while I still was thinking, she told me I so must see that and I need to meet the owner and in the end I was so curious that I TPed to the LM, Persia gave me and I just fainted. I landed at the !dm sim… sure… !dm was Devious Mind! For sure I know this brand and I as well have tons of her amazing outfits! *facepalms*

Persia kept saying me to contact the owner since she would be as crazy as I am :p . So I tried to reach Chandra Meehan, owner and designer of Devious Mind. She was offline but not too long after I left her a message she came back and we talked a while. She is that kind of persons I love from the beginning… crazy, wild, smartass, just like I use to be*grins*

We were talking about various things, until she asked me what my favourite colors would be. I told her that I basically like most of the colors and just have a pink allergy 😉 . Being a smartass, just imagine what she send me^^. But more about that soon. For today I have the new “Chained Lust ” outfit from Devious Mind. I am sure this outfit has many different facets with the latex catsuit and the amazing mesh chains, but I wanted to make something ‘Wicca like’. So I thought about, what I could do and as if it was fate, I had the the movie “The Crow” on my second monitor, as I started styling. Since I anyways liked the idea of Fetish Couture, I loved the pearl colored catsuit that goes down over feet and hands and only has that deep neckline in the front. You can choose between 3 different colors of the catsuit , as all 3 are included in the pack. The chains come in different sizes, so that you can make sure that the mesh fits your shape. I did not add much to the outfit itself, only a mask, wings and shoes and one of the jewelry sets of my brother Dahriel. The “Angelical Black” set comes with collar, crown, arm parts, earrings and a ring. The “Chain Lust” outfit was the perfect basic for my dark fantasys and if you now became curious what else you can find at Devious Mind, just take the taxi over to the Mainstore (TAXI: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/deviousMind/98/26/30). The sim as well is worth a visit! From my photographer side I just can tell you it is a paradise for making pictures as well!!!

Wicca’s Wardrobe: Lady in Red No.1

A few days ago I met again a person, that was very important in my life for quite some time. It was in the beginning times of my SL. He was always there for me and helped me a lot when my RL was not that shiny as it should have been. We had a wonderful time together, that I will never forget…

A few days ago when I was looking through my friendlist, I still saw his name and even when he was offline I felt I had to leave him a few lines just .. just because I felt I had to 😉 As I logged in the other day again, he wrote me and answer and after sending offliners back and forward we made it to be online to the same time even if it sadly only was a few minutes. We met at his home ant it was a great feeling to see each other after such a long time. I still heard the ducks that I remember so well… the time we could spend was way too short but before he had to log we danced to our song once again and that really brought up the old memories in a very emotional way. It is a song that is very special to us because of many reasons, which I would like to keep as a secret but I will not hide the song itself 😉 The song is called Lady in Red from Chris de Burgh. As I wanted to dedicate that post to Ryyan, I wanted to bring back the lady in red kinda 😉 Miamai had a wonderful red dress in their latest releases. The “Esther” dress. It had a wonderful red version and so I decided to take that as the base for my Lady in Red No.1 😉 I have some more in mind at the moment so I call it my Lady in Red No. 1 😉

The wonderful floppy hat is a special version made for me by Baboom and for the jewelry I decided to go for the “Shameless” necklace and bracelet from Finesmith and some earrings where I do not even remember the label anymore as I have them in forever 😉 Since the Lady in Red always had something mystical for me I wanted to cover her eyes with some glasses that kinda hide them and I chose the “Cubism Shades” from epoque.

There is things in the past what never will be the same again, but still the memories noone can take from you.

I hope you enjoyed my memories and my Lady in Red No. 1 😉

The Runway Perfect Hunt #4 – Part 11

The Runway Perfect Hunt goes in it’s 4th round . Morgane Batista again made it, to get amazing designers to participate in one of the most famous hunts on the grid. Even if the title says “The hunt with models in mind” does not mean this hunt is limited to models only. All the amazing and versatile designs are amazing additions to everybody’s wardrobe, even the males will find some amazing hunt prizes in some locations This year the hunt is not a total freebie hunt, each hunt item costs $5 Linden. With a total of 50 shops you reach a maximum of $250 Linden, what is a great amount for so many amazing quality designs!

Till Friday TRPH #4 does last, then all the amazing items will be gone… So I will use the chance for my final post about this amazing hunt.

My final styling is based on the amazing contribution of Ezura to the Runway Perfect Hunt. Ezura made the beautiful “Velvet Long Gown” in dark brocade green. The basic dress is mesh made and you have a wonderful optional flexible skirt attachment as well. For this post, I decided to go without to show the basic mesh prim a bit better, basically you get 2 gowns in one 😉 The shoulder free gown is perfect for a formal or elegant attire. With the free shoulders it lets room for amazing jewelry.

Speaking of jewelry, I would like to drag your attention over to the earrings. Pure Poison made a wonderful pair of earrings for the hunt. The silver earrings with the black gems made a perfect accessory for the “Velvet Long Gown”.

For the hair I decided to go with the “Chevia” hair from EMO-tions to underline the elegant look of the styling.

The Runway Perfect Hunt #4 – Part 9

After being absent because of RL, I would like to show some more of the wonderful Runway Perfect Hunt items before the hunt is over.

The amazing “Brocade” dress, is the contribution of 22769 to the 4th edition of the TRPH. A wonderful once piece mesh dress in red and black. The skirt is made plain black what makes the brocade texture of the red jacket even more shine. The wonderful makeup comes from Dulce Secrets and is as well one of the awesome hunt items. Dulce Secrets provides not only the makeup, as well they have a wonderful skin in different versions in their TRPH #4 box.

The super cool ankle boots I found at the Gothic Fair 2013. Blinesen + MaiTai made the wonderful “Diavola” ankle boots with that unusual shape. The basic black victorian looking base with the amazing buckle, was combined with the red parts that look like little flames round your ankles.

The Cool and lightly messy looking “Carla” hair from EMO-tions was just perfect for the look and with the “Lost” necklace, as well from EMO-tions, I found the perfect matching jewelry as well 🙂

Now I was looking at myself and still I missed something… a hat, yes a hat would be awesome. I searched through all my inventory but I did not have one single red hat that would match to the outfit. All of a sudden I remembered about one of my oldest friends… she was designing hats! I stormed into Xenobia Foxclaw’s IM like a hurricane and started crying about me looking for a deep/blood red hat with maybe something black on it. Xen knows me for quite some time now and she knows my weird moments as well, so she just laughed and said I should wait a few minutes she would look through her creations. A few seconds later 3 different mesh hats made their way into my inventory and the “Dewey” hat in red suede was the perfect addition to the styling. Thanks so much Xen for again saving my day 😉
