Today there was a wonderful and exciting event going on at the Scala HQ. The Gradiversary event.

What is a Gradiversary event you might ask yourself… it is a mix of Anniversary and Graduation Show 😉

Scala celebrates its 2nd Anniversary this year and so they decided to have a combination of an Anniversary and Graduation show.

With 19 designers, that made exclusive collections and releases for that show, it was a great celebration and I would like to show case one of them today.

Tres Beau is one of the oldest and most popular clothing stores in SL and with her quality of designs, texturing, fabrics and colors she certainly is one of the top stores in SL for a very long time. How was that quote I got told so often when I was a child… quality will prevail and remain 😉

For the Gradiversary event, Tres Beau created 3 different outfits, which are available in more colors that I will showcase today.

The first one you can see above, the “Breeze” ensemble. A wonderful combination of a compfy tank shirt and skirt with an amazing leather belt. The fresh colors already point out on the upcoming spring season and so the outfit is just the perfect choice.

The “Sam” combination again shows how fashionable knitted designs can be 😉 The outfit comes in the standard sizes and as well in a slink and maitreya mesh body friendly version.

 With the long arms and the high waist skirt – which just let a small space for the belly to peek through – is a perfect addition for the upcoming spring season. Still warm and cozy and as well sexy and fashion forward, this ensemble is available in several colors at the Tres Beau Mainstore!

I just added a stole from GizzA and boots from MODA to underline that wonderful chick attitude. The wonderful bag with the perfect color range was made by PurpleMoon.

For the third style, I am wearing the “Tiffany” gown in teal. A wonderful tight mesh gown with an amazing flexible bottom, that makes it very filigree, soft and airy.  The soft gradient on the color gives you a lot of options for accessories. The elegant necklace and earrings are already part of the outfit so i skipped any other kind of accessory to not overload the fine and delicate gown. Like the 2 other designs, the “Tiffany ” gown is available in more amazing color gradients and tones at the Tres Beau Mainstore.

The Night before Halloween

Today, I am in a Halloween mood already, even if it is just the day before 😉

I was looking at the new hats from Eleseren Brianna, which she made for the upcoming Art in Hats event.

My heart was caught by the “Death of a Romanic Hat”. The hat to me really is a little piece of art.

It is a firework of textures and shapes.

The basic shape of the hat carries a wonderful and as well rough looking fabric what totally underlines the name of the hat 😉

With the sweet and filigree, artistic decorations around that head it definitely will turn heads.

To complete my look I put on the “Grimm Dress” from [sys]. The dress was released on one of the Collarbor 88 events. The dress comes with glasses and a hat, but for today I just used that amazing dress.

The short dress has comes with a wonderful corset, tht accents the waist and on the lower end of the skirt you will see this amazing delicate lace trim. The corset and the lace trim are HUD driven and you can change them to different colors. The great thing about the “Grim Dress” comes for various mesh bodies as well, like the Slink Physique, the 2 Belleza ones, Maitreya and TMP

For shoes I chose the “Lipstick Heels” from Wicca’s Wardrobe. The shoes are made for the Slink mesh high feet and won’t work n regula avatar feet.

I just loved to point out the contrast between sweet and evil for that look 😉

The awesome furniture I arranged around myself is one of GizzA’s latest releases. The pieces are all part of a Gacha in an event called “Lost and Found”.

LOTD 09/26/2015 – Back in Black with Devilish Poses

Yes, I cannot deny it… I love black…

I was standing on my platform after finishing all my daily work and started to dig into my inventory to sort some stuff and trash some of the older things I never will wear again… like… hair from 2009 and shoes from 2011 with weird bare feet and funny toes*giggles*

Then you sometimes come across boxes… that you never opened, but certainly you had to buy them…

Now the fun starts. Unpacking and again making the inventory looking like a hot mess 😉

But the good thing is you usually find some hidden treasure you do not even remember, that you bought them.

So it was with the “Luminea” headpiece from Black Pearls. I got it at the Fantasy Collective a few month ago and totally forgot about it… like ever so often…

 The “Luminea” headpiece is one of those accessories that sneaked right into my heart. The amazing leather straps across the face the sweet chains that hold it together on the top and the huge fins that give the whole piece an abstract and fantasy touch.

Inspired by the headpiece I thought of a basic black look to let the headpiece stick out even more. I kept opening boxes and got one surprise after another…

That will be a few more posts in the future I guess *giggles*

The next part what fell in my hands was the “Biker Chest” from May’s Soul. I just used the collar part and skipped the shoulder pads for this post, that belong to the whole pack. With the long leather fringes it definitely made an interesting accessory.

Now the difficulties began… since I am not a friend of being naked without a reason for styling posts, I had to find pants and a top that fits under that great collar. Pants was realtivly easy as I love my leather leggings from Maitreya. For the shoes I decided to go with the “Bella Heels” from KC for the slink high mesh feet. The shoes come with a HUD, that lets you choose from different colors for the metals and the shoe.

Now I still needed a top or a jacket that does not interfere with the long fringes of the collar. I guess, I tried about 20 before I came across the “Leather Asymetrical Jacket” from ISON.

 It matched perfectly to the while look and added a slightly elegant touch to it 🙂

Last but not least I chose something for my hands to break the black. The “Ringblume” hand accessories from FORMANAILS.

Now before I am done for today, I would like to drag your focus on the poses I used today. The poses are all made of Linda Reddevil. She recently opened her store Devilish Poses and makes some amazing runway poses. They are somewhat special and a little bot more out of the box that usual. I like them very much as they totally go along with my feeling for modern and fresh posing 😉

After all the looks is kinda modern, elegant and dark abstract… exactly what I like 😉
