For my first but certainly not last post, I would like to showcase the contribution of devousMind to the ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow’ hunt. Chandra Meehan, owner and designer of !dM, made an amazing corset outfit for the hunt.  The very colorful corset made of all the rainbow colors. The awesome frilled white pants, the sweet collar, the white fishnet tights and the sweet net train that brings back all the sweet colors 😉

For me, the usually black loving person it was not immediately comfortable to be so colorful, but one by one I got used to it. First I added the yellow version of the “Piccadilly Overknee Boots” from LeeZu when I came across the super cool “Codie” hair from Discord Designs. It had a rainbow colored  version in it and it was going perfectly with the “Valentina” corset from !dM. Each hair color of the gacha coes with a “Ripley” black hairbase. The “Codie” hairstyle was made for the gacha at the ’24’ event and usual colors will follow at the Discord Designs Mainstore after the event. To add my little rebel to the whole look i decided to go with one of the newest tattoos from White Widow. Julie Hastings made some new body tattoos, wich as well come with a tango applier for all those who love the new mesh boobies.

For the picture I wanted to go crazy with colors and items so I decided to put a lot of colorful candy behind and around me. I got a little bit the feeling of “Wicca in Wonderland” as I added the way too big teapot and the huge muffins and lollipops*giggles*

A modern Snow White? A Second Life Fairytale

With all the remakes of old fairytales like Snow White and the Huntsman or Haensel  & Gretel – Witchhunters, I came across the idea of a modern snowwhite.. maybe even a  fashionista snowwhite*giggles*

The idea came with an outfit that I got from !dM – deviousMind. The “Pure Syn” out of the newest Fetish Couture Collection, The outfit can be purchased in different colors and as well in a ‘Duality Pack’ with 2 colors in it. The basic outfit is a supoer sexy mini dress with a latex texture that shows the texture skills from Chandra Meehan, genius designer behind !dM. Besides the amazing mini dress you have all this amazing pearls and apples, the wonderful ruffles for the shoulders, the glamurous train, the hair piece and on top the awesome snake and the snketatoo for the legs are as well part of the outfit. With all this parts and variations you really can make a few different looking outfits of  the “Pure Syn” outfit.

For the picture I decided to wear the whiote version and Sazzy Nirpaw wears the red one. The handsome man, that Saz is offering her sweet apple is our well known Mr UK 2013, George McCartney.

I am very grateful that Saz and George said yes, when I asked them if they would join me for that shoot as it is way easier and way more nice to built up a scenery with more than one person somtimes.

For the location I came across the idea of a dark forrest, mystical and not too many colors with a crypta and some matching sculptures. Saz is an amazing builder and inbetween seconds she rezzed a wonderful snowy dark forrest and I just aaded the crypta and the sculptures.

Even if it is an abstract imagination I couldnot get rid of the idea of a modern fashionista Snow White and George made an awesome hansome to safe the girls :p .

New Collection at Devious Minds!

A few days ago Persia Bravin stormed my inventory asking me if I would have seen the latest releases of Devious Mind and I was like .. “Oh uhm.. aehm .. no…” and was trying hard to remember that brand. I know, that I heard it before but I could not really recall what it was. Persia kept talking, while I still was thinking,  she told me I so must see that and I need to meet the owner and in the end I was so curious that I TPed to the LM, Persia gave me and I just fainted. I landed at the !dm sim… sure… !dm was Devious Mind! For sure I know this brand and I as well have tons of her amazing outfits! *facepalms*

Persia kept saying me to contact the owner since she would be as crazy as I am :p . So I tried to reach Chandra Meehan, owner and designer of Devious Mind. She was offline but not too long after I left her a message she came back and we talked a while. She is that kind of persons I love from the beginning… crazy, wild, smartass, just like I use to be*grins*

We were talking about various things, until she asked me what my favourite colors would be. I told her that I basically like most of the colors and just have a pink allergy 😉 . Being a smartass, just imagine what she send me^^. But more about that soon. For today I have the new “Chained Lust ” outfit from Devious Mind. I am sure this outfit has many different facets with the latex catsuit and the amazing mesh chains, but I wanted to make something ‘Wicca like’. So I thought about, what I could do and as if it was fate, I had the the movie “The Crow” on my second monitor, as I started styling. Since I anyways liked the idea of Fetish Couture, I loved the pearl colored catsuit that goes down over feet and hands and only has that deep neckline in the front. You can choose between 3 different colors of the catsuit , as all 3 are included in the pack. The chains come in different sizes, so that you can make sure that the mesh fits your shape. I did not add much to the outfit itself, only a mask, wings and shoes and one of the jewelry sets of my brother Dahriel. The “Angelical Black” set comes with collar, crown, arm parts, earrings and a ring. The “Chain Lust” outfit was the perfect basic for my dark fantasys and if you now became curious what else you can find at Devious Mind, just take the taxi over to the Mainstore (TAXI: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/deviousMind/98/26/30). The sim as well is worth a visit! From my photographer side I just can tell you it is a paradise for making pictures as well!!!

Wicca’s Wardrobe: Burlesque

Today I would like to tell  little story again that this pictures, made by Daron Brandeis, have attached. The first picture, was the entry for the BOSL covercontest and was choosen into the Top 5 on Frolic Mills flickr stream. Sadly it did not make the cover but never the less it really was fun 🙂

I already blogged more then once the great new corset brand NV Corsetry. Their corsets are really amazing and I felt really honored as I was chosen to be part of the BOSL fashion spread of NV Corsetry. I already blogged many different styles with the corsets of NV Corsetry and for sure the burlesque theme was kinda bullseye for a styling with those corsets. In the burlesque aera, corsets were very popular and you could not think any styling without them nearly. I would like to showcase the stylings I made for the BOSL fashion spread, as I really had fun doing them and it shows another possibility for wearing the amazing corsets from NV Corsetry.

For the first look I got the “Ordained” corset and the short body from NV Corsetry and for the rest of the look I had my freedom to choose what I wanted, according to the challenge to create a burlesque outfit. I roamed through google and saw different pictures of amazing burlesque stylings, but one got stuck in my mind. It was a relativly modern picture but the girl had combined fishnet tights with cool boots and a litte hat. I remembered the “Rosenkavalier” hat from Rozoregalia and it matched perfect to what I wanted to go for. Fishnet tights I found on marketplace and for sure feathers and the long cigarette holder could not be missing. Them I found at !dM deviousBeauty out of their ‘Fetish Cabaret’ collection. I like the little details so I added one of those velvet chokers I saw on so many pics with the little rose in the front and the gloves of the Betty outfit from Angel Dessous. The awesome “Burlesque” boots, made by [GOS] made the perfect finish for Look No. 1 🙂

Look No. 2 was not that easy as the “Wrath” outfit from NV Corsetry comes with a long black latex suit. Latex was not that popular and known in the times of the burlesque aera. So I had to think harder for this look to make it work. First I slipped into my red BAX ankle boots. as red and black was used often for burlesque in the past. Then I made my way back to !dm deviousBeauty and took another look on their ‘Fetish Cabaret’ line. I found one outfit that had interesting huge red feathers for the hips, waist and head and as well a red feather boa that came with matching poses to wear it. The black “Wisper” boa I took from Miamai out of the ‘inMutatio’ collection. The 2 huge black fans were provided by Maya Paris.

I hope you liked my little trip into the burlesque aera 🙂
