天使 – Blue Angel

Azul+EMO-tions 001

Today I have the great pleasure to show you the winning formal gown of  MVW 2014. Miss Anjelica Carling had the right thought as she went to Mami Jewell, owner and designer of Azul, for her formal evening gown for the MVW 2014 contest. The “Anjelica” gown is a wonderful example how well it can work if you combine mesh parts with sculpts or flexible prims. The upper body is mesh made and comes in different sizes so you really can be sure you get one that fits your avatars size. The amazing waving prims add a very aerial touch to the whole look. The black base that is decorated so amazing with those sparkling and shimmering textures, makes a beautiful and sophisticated overall look. The gloves are as well part of the gown. For me gloves – and especially simple ones, wich go up over the elbow – always give the whole styling such an amazing lady like touch.

For the accessories I could not resist again to for my personal likings. For sure I could just have added some wonderful jewelry and a simple updo hairstyle but then… I kinda would not have felt like me 😉

I decided to go with one of the amazing mesh jewelry sets from EMO-tions. The “Kaluha” set contains bracelets, earrings and this wonderful high neck collar made of a lot of circles that are added over each other.

The “Dream” hair as well you will find at the EMO-tions Mainstore. I wanted an elegant but still not too simple and smooth up do for the look and the “Dream” hair exactly had this super light ‘messed’ up look to it, that I had in mind.

For the makeup I wanted to use something very special to get this angelic look even more. Silken Moon had a wonderful gift for the POE6, maybe if you hurry Malicia still has it out! The”Ice Angel” makeup with the light blue shimmer over the forehead and the eyes, the dark lined eyes combined with those little 2 wings just was the right addition to make the whole look to mine 😉

MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Australia 2012 by Tres Beau & Finesmith

Again we have a wonderful gown by Tres Beau combined with Finesmith jewelry that made it in the Top 12 of Miss Virtual World 2012… even more this combination of the “Miss Rissa” gown of Tres Beau and the “Tribal Glam” set from Finesmith brought Miss Rissa Friller – Miss Australia 2012 – on place 2 of the MVW contest this year. Lets take a look on the gown first. Kimmera Madison again showed her incredible skills of making textures and designing a stunning evening gown for Miss Australia 2012. The basic is made in silver. Silver is not an easy color for clothing in second life, most of the textures look grey and do not have any shine. But not for Tres Beau. The long experiences and the awesome skills of Kimmera Madison make this gown shine in a stunning silver attire. The ornaments look beautiful and give the gown even more highlights as it anyways has. The tight gown makes an awesome silhouette and the big mermaid skirt is a wonderful contrast to the shoulder free top of the gown. The ornaments are brought adorable on the gown so that you can move and pose without stretching this wonderful textures, again something that is not that easy I was told. So, no wonder that Miss Rissa Friller became the 1st runner-up for MVW 2012. The stunning gown is now available for everyone at the Tres Beau Mainstore.

For the jewelry, again we can see how close the designers work together to create this incredible looking styles. Yula Finesmith outdid herself again with catching the style and shape of the wonderful ornaments that Kimmera put on the gown. The swirls she did for the necklace, the bracelet and the ring are breathtaking awesome. Yula as well picked up the colors and made a firework of art with colors and design for this beautiful “Tribal Glam” set.The earrings, 2 little flowers,  are so unbelievable filigree and little, what again shows the incredible skills of yula Finesmith. The love for the detail yula and Kimmera both have in an awesome way. The great “Tribal Glam” set is now available at the Finesmith Mainstore.

The ‘underskirt’ that peeks trough at the bottom seam in filigree black lines, and the ‘overskirt’ made of the great orange that looks very realistic with all the single moving prims that are connected together. The skirt itself is one prim to attach. The great belt, that breaks the orange, with its amazing silver buckle is an amazing accessory that is included to the outfit. The amazing leggings that show off the eye for the detail that Journey McLaglen gets in all ger creations.
