Showreview: BOSL Fashion Week – Avantgarde

Today I was allowed to walk another show of the great BOSL Fashion Week. The theme was Avantgarde and again the BLVD Models had to style their own vision of avantgarde… but we as well had a premiere… our Editorial Clarity-Flux dared to walk the runway for his very first time :p For sure I had to ask him and his beloved husband RicoRacer Flux-Clarity if the would pose with me for my blog post opener pic and… they said yes!!! The result is the pic above! *happy dance* What a feeling between such great styled guys!!!

Ok Wicca… stop drooling… back to work… *coughs*

Again, as in the ‘Virtual Super Heroes’ show the BLVD Models had the freedom to style as they please to show off their very own vision of avantgarde. It was a hard decision and I made way more looks than this one… but this was the one that in the end, wich I was wearing on the runway πŸ™‚

I started with one of the new designs of the latest Miamai Black Label line – “Ungud” out f the Chod Collection. The big sleeves that cover the hands and the huge neck collar got my attention as I saw it the first time. Then I remembered the wonderful “Caged Birds Skirt” made by Faster Pussycat. I just change the color of the pigeons a bit πŸ™‚ We got eyeshadow from blackliquid and I added my longtime favourite lace tattoo from Obscure. The boots as well are from Miamai and the amazing headpieces I found at Lode. For jewelry I chose parts of the “Noir” collection of Finesmith Designs.

The show was great fun aI would like to thank all the people of the BLVD family who made this incredible show possible πŸ™‚

New Fall Collection 2011 at Baiastice!!!

Sissy Pessoa, owner and designer of Baiastice released her actual Fall Collection 2011. So many awesome new releases that it really was hard to decide… but finally my choice fell on 2 outfits of the actual collection… for now :p

The first one, named “Praga”, totally catched my eyes. Very high fashion and unusual and definitely something that turns heads with the corset and skirt that are connected with sexy garters. The light, long-sleeved top makes a perfect contrast to the black tones. “Praga” is available in 4 different colors. To style it I chose shoes from N-Core, hair from LoQ and an amazing eye mask and earrings from Finesmith Design.

The second design, that caught my eyes was “Ethel”. A black short dress as well with a corset and huge shoulderparts. Of “Ethel” you will find 2 more awesome fall colors if you take a look at the Baiastice Mainstore. To make the look complete I took hair from Vanity Hair, shoes from Miamai and again jewelry made by Finesmith Design.

As well part of the Baiastice Fall Collection 2011 is a limited, special edition skin…

“Nina, a very light skin in the tone ‘porcelaine’ will only be available for a certain time…to show as much as possible of skin I just put on Ezura‘s “Avant Garde E.T.” outfit and skipped the prims.

“Nina” has 10 different makeups and comes without eyebrows… what made it finally possible to use my Nuuna’s Skins eyebrow makeups πŸ™‚ The incredible black jewelry are parts of the Finesmith Design “Noir” Collection.

Also Sissy Pessoa created one of the new mesh dresses…

This awesome leather “Minix Dress” can be purchased in 5 more colors and is one of the wonderful new ‘mesh’ creations that require one of the new mesh viewers, other wise you are not able to see it. For this dress I chose the “Diconay” set by Finesmith Design.

To see the whole Fall Collection 2011 of Baiastice you can take a look at the Baiastice Mainstore πŸ™‚

Soon comes Halloween – Morgane and me are prepared ;)

A few days ago I got a wonderful gift from Morgane Bastista, owner and designer of the Morgane Batista Pose Shop. She made it possible – sent the “Urban Reality Gown ” from The White Armory my way and I was totally surprised what I got… such a great ready-to-wear outfit wich so many details!!!

I wrote Morgane to thank her and as we were talking we suddenly came on Halloween and I had the idea to style my new outfit as a Halloween look and I asked her if she would like to do it with me since I know she is same crazy as me if it comes to stylings :)…

Said… Done!

For my look, beside the “Urban Reality Gown, I chose the “Costa Rica Earrings” from Finesmith
Design and one of the new hair attachments made by LoQ.

Again and again when I take a closer look at the outfit, I discover another great detail… the back view is very sexy and with the chain that hangs down it really turns heads. The collar is as well part of the outfit and as you can see on the pic below it is very detailed and well done. You nearly have the imagination that you can grab the straps or buckles and pull her closer :p

As Morgane does such great poses we decided to use hers only for that post :), so all poses used in this post are from Morgane Bastista Pose Shop.

The skin was a gift from Malicia Python, owner and creator of Silken Moon. She made some fabulous skins for her new fall collection, that I will have on my post soon :). So “Clawdia Unholy Veined” is just a little sneak preview of her amazing work πŸ™‚ The little blood dripping is just a tattoo layer that I found on one of my shopping tours πŸ˜‰

Happy Halloween!!!

First “Mesh” dress at Angel Dessous!!!

Lately i got my first mesh dress from Nando Korobase, designer of Angel Dessous. Thank god I just had down loaded the new mesh viewer *grins*

I have to admit I was a bit unsure and scared as I heard first time of the new mesh feature, that it requires another new viewer and that you cannot edit the clothing anymore… but after I saw how mesh clothing reacts while wearing it… I was totally amazed.

No more texture stretching, no more silly skirt prims between the legs, no more weird prims on ankles, knees and elbows or anywhere else… simply great!

What is true is that you cannot anymore edit the clothing itself so you have to modify your shape to make the clothing fit. Angel Dessous included 3 sizes of dresses with matching shapes that guarantee a perfect fit. I changed my own shape lightly to make one of the sizes fit. The “Katy” dress is available in different colors – for my blog I chose blacksatin, sunflower and orange πŸ™‚

We can be curious what Nando Korobase will create next to let us ladies look awesome πŸ˜‰
