Mother of Dragons…

I always had an addiction for dragons and my mom always laughed at me when I said “I know there must be some left dragon eggs somewhere, just nobody yet found them. Dragons will be back some when!”

But believe it or not, even if I am a well-educated and taught person and have some knowledge of science… I am still not willing to give up that thought 😉

Second Life, gives me the freedom to play with fantasies and so it was kinda a given that I needed some dragons 😉

Last month when I was invited to put some pictures at Windlight Gallery, paired with the fact that I was watching the latest Game of Thrones season, the idea did grow in my mind to do my very own vision of the Mother of Dragons inspired by the Khaleesi 😉

 The dragons I fund at Manticore (Thank you so much Daff for showing me!!!), a wonderful shop for all kind of animals and fantasy creatures. They are wearable and will walk around with you as soon as you have them attached.

The idea of having kinda series for this pictures, came by snapping… first I wanted to just do one picture, and the more I snapped the more ideas came to my mind and all of a sudden they fell together like a short story. In the end I was not able anymore to decide wich one I wanted to use and I just let them be the whole story in the end 😉

For the outfit I chose one we made for Wicca’s Wardrobe. Originally it was made for a Game of Thrones inspired theme, but we now put it at the store too in 3 different colors.

The “Visenya” is a short outfit with the great collar and some armor plates arranged as a back skirt. It goes very well together with the “Dragon Queen Headpeice”, the “Dragon Earrings” and the “Alysanne Booties”, which also were made for that event.

It really was great fun to play around with the dragons and loose myself in a time that has been long gone… but dreams.. they stay and who knows… maybe someday someone will find a mysterious egg.. somewhere 😉

MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Costa Rica 2012 by Son!a & Finesmith

The evening gown for Miss Costa Rica 2012, Laetitia Vella,  was handcrafted by Sonia28 Jie, owner and designer of the very elegant and sophisticated brand Son!a. Son!a is one of the well-known, established luxury brands in Second Life for gowns. As you can see on this wonderful design of the “Laetitia Dress”, the textures are very high-class and totally awesome made by Sonia. All the little fans are perfectly highlighted and the shadows are carefully set to give the full view of the skills Sonia has if it comes to textures and design. If you make your way to the Son!a Mainstore you can see that she made this wonderful dress in 5 more beautiful colors, so you can choose your favourite for yourself ;). The dress is shoulder free what gives a lot of room for the awesome jewelry made by Finesmith. The “Laetitia” set yula made perfectly matching to the awesome “Laetitia Dress” The set contains the stunning headpiece, a pair of earrings and this incredible necklace. MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Russia 2012 by PurpleMoon & Finesmith

The wonderful national gown for Miss Russia 2012 was made by Poulet Koenkamp, owner and creative designer of PurpleMoon. She made a wonderful interpretation of the russian traditional style for Miss Rusalka Callisto, who represented Russia in the Miss Virtual World competition for 2012 and in the end made the 3rd runner up. The textures are fantastic and you can see the incredible skills of Poulet, if you take a closer look on the fabrics. The huge headpiece as well is part of the “Catherine” gown. The wonderful ensemble is now available at the PurpleMoon Mainstore. For the jewelry Rusalka chose different already existing parts from Finesmith like the earrings and ring of the Rhonda set, the “Capri Collar” or the “Golden Nails”. As an extra special eye catcher, yula Finesmith designed a wonderful brooch to match this awesome outfit and the theme. The “Fabrege” brooch is an amazing and perfect decoration for this wonderful creation and it can found in a few more color combinations at the Finesmith Mainstore.

MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss South Korea 2012 by Angel Dessous

The wonderful evening gown for Miss South Korea 2012 was made by Angel Dessous. “Seoul” is an awesome gown, that stands out in prim work and design. Nando Korobase tailored this awesome dress for Miss Caoimhe Lionheart for this years MVW challenge. The skirt itself is a masterpiece with the long train in the back and the short front. The ruffles and folds are made with such a love for the detail that you only can imagine how long Nando must have sit there and created them. His great skills for the texturing you can see as well if you look more and more up to the bodice. First the waistpart comes in the same basic texture as the skirt and the cleavage and shoulders are covered by delicate, filigree lace. This awesome lace you can find for the leggins as well, and they are wonderful shown because of the high front of the skirt. The chest part is not just a basic black part it looks like 2 overlapping parts – again the prove for Nando’s love for the detail. The little collar carries 2 wonderful ornaments that match the necklace and the belly jewelry part. Together with the fingerless gloves the whole attire is very sophisticated and classy with a fresh and modern touch. If you take a closer look you can see the little jewelry parts at the belly and the necklace. Both are part of the stunning “Seoul” dress as well, so you only have to add a pair of earrings – in my case the white version of the “Hermosa Espina” from Finesmith. The incredible headpiece as well is made by Angel Dessous. No wonder that this incredible beautiful gown made the Top 12 for the MVW 2012 challenge!!!

Scary sexy news by Faster Pussycat

Tonight is the night, every Halloween addicted waited for the whole year 😉 Tonight all the creatures will go out for some party or event and show off their wonderful scary and creepy outfits. I chose one of Honey Bender’s latest creations called “Vampira Glamour Gown”.

The outfit is made very delicate and aerial. The deep, rich red matches wonderful the theme of the gown and the lace gives a very sexy touch as well. The huge neck collar adds a very victorian touch. The fabric of the prims gives a wonderful vampiristic look as it looks kinda as you were still the gown of the night you were transformed into a vampire and show it off every night if you leave your coffin ;). Mea Culpa goes Fetish Fashion!

As I promised in my last Mea Culpa post, there is another amazing outfits of the new Mea Culpa X-Treme line. Tatanka Kaligawa himself named it Fetish Fashion and created a new line beside the Avantgarde and Couture designs in his store.

Again we can see the basic fabric is kinda latex and for the “Black Mamba” we have those wonderful long and flexible tentacles all over. What caught my eye is the cool hat that looks very stylish to the whole outfit . A very sexy touch is given by the body and the opaque stockings that are held by garters and show lots of skin 😉

The absolute perfect jewelry for this outfit in my opinion is the “Noir” set from Finesmith Designs. The lashes are as well part of the “Noir” set of Finesmith Designs and go well along with the collar, the earings and the nails of the same collection.

Now I finally was able to snap an art piece of jewelry made by yula Finesmith, genius designer of Finesmith Design. Arisia Ashmoot was so kind to pose with me for this amazing pice of art called “The Black Swan”. For sure we accessorized this amazing headpiece as well with Finesmith jewelry 😉 Finesmith Design for me is a new generation of jewelry and it looks very innovative, young and fresh and as well with all the nice new ideas very special and different to many others I saw until now. You can perfectly style an haute couture or avantgarde outfit with this extraordinary jewelry as well as you can wear it for every other style you wanna do.

The “Black Swan” is available in gold and silver. First we can see Arisia wearing the gold version. The huge black flexible parts are moving amazing with every step you take. The highlight is for sure the golden part in the middle that carries the black gems.

I am wearing the silver option of the “Black Swan” as you can see the fantastic black parts are the same only the middle part has the opposite to the golden one. For me definitely a must have for my wardrobe as I like the extraordinary huge accessories 🙂

Sneak Preview!!! – News at Mea Culpa :)

Again news from Mea Culpa! Tatanka Kaligawa again did it. A few new outfits are available at the Mea Culpa Mainstore. On of the is the great “Lacey Grace”

A wonderful outfit for the brave and fashion addicted lady. This outfit really touched my heart cause it is a little bit like me 😉 Edgy, with sharp spikes and also a bit romantic with all the lace 😉 Usually a long tight system skirt made if the same lace as the pants is part of that outfit, but I decided to wear it just with the pants 😉 The lace is the basic for the whole outfit. A wonderful corset covers the belly and a short prims part like a very short skirt rounds the hips and upper legs. This hip part carries one of the wonderful long, silver spikes or horns. the upper body you have the lace clothing layers and also an attached prim part that carries the great neck collar.

The front if the neck os decorated with 3 spikes and each one carries a gem in the middle. At the shoulders you see again on each side one of the great silver horns 🙂 And now we come to the fabulous head-piece 🙂 A wonderful arrangement of lace, horns, spikes and a cute hat. This outfit definitely turns heads and it feels very close to my self 😉 I simply love it and in the Mea Culpa Mainstore you will find it in 3 different colors. Black as I showed it in my post and further in white and red 😉
