MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Monaco 2012 by Tres Beau

The wonderful and cute national costume for Miss Monaco 2012, Miss Vivienne Darcy, was made by Kimmera Madison, owner and designer of Tres Beau. Again Kimmera did a great research, to create this beautiful national costume for Miss Monaco 2012. Many traditional parts you can find on the “Miss Monaco” dress if you compare the outfit to google search results of traditional clothing of Monaco. I admire Kimmera for her careful research, when she starts designing national costumes for Miss Virtual World. All of her creations have really a real based theme and you can discover the country from seeing the costume. The awesome love for the detail Kimmera puts in her creations you can see again at the “Miss Monaco” dress. The ruffles, the delicate corset, the hat, the cute little black ribbons that are used for the blouse and the hat and all those amazing and perfect placed textures… that’s really high-class designing. The skirt carries a very filigree lace texture over the opaque basic and adds a touch of elegance as well. “Miss Monaco” now is available at the Tres Beau Mainstore.

Wicca’s Wardorbe: Corset Addiction

Corsets… nowadays many just see them for fetish fashion, but the history of corset for sure is way older and it was part of fashion way back in the past a lot more. I discovered corsets in my RL as well and I have to admit they change not only your look while wearing them, they as well changes you attitude and behaviour. Because I like corsets in RL, I certainly looked in Sl to find some good ones. The best I found, before I was introduced to NV Corsetry by Lexie Jansma and Lorelei Maggs, were corsets made of jacket layers and some prim corsets that never fit my shape or has strange alpha prims around. NV Corsetry not. The have awesome prim corsets that are made with an awesome script that allows you to fit your corset exactly to your shape in all directions. You can just resize it completely, but as well you have the possibility to change the sides on x, y and z coordinates. That means you are able to only stretch or make it wider only. For me a revolution on SL corsets! Corsets are so versatile and you can create awesome fashion looks with them. You should make your way and try them at the NV Corsetry Mainstore.

MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Estonia 2012 by Bare Rose

The wonderful national costume for Miss Estonia 2012, comes from Bare Rose. Bare Rose is a well-known brand in Secondlife and it always stood for quality and very creative outfits. I have a lot of Bare Rose outfits already and they always were something special to me, as they are different to most of the usual designs. Bare Rose covers a wide range of different styles like casual, fantasy, formal, japanese designs and nearly all what you can think of. Nala Kurka, Miss Estonia 2012, decided to go to June Dion for her national costume and I have to say what came out is really something unique and outstanding. “Cologne” the wonderful costume is named and you must have mesh enabled to see it properly, as the skirt is made in the mesh technique. The outfit it self comes as a ready-to-wear outfit and I just added hair and the facemask by myself. The textures are made very filigree and with the love to the detail. the little ring and the jewelry looking part round the neck are as well part of the outfit and so is the hat. The wonderful designed ruffles and the filigree jewelry parts show the great designing skills of June Dion. “Cologne” now is available at the Bare Rose Mainstore.

MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss UK 2012 by GizzA & Finesmith

Paulinha Lefavere is our Miss UK 2012. she chose to wear the “Galliano Inspiration” from GizzA.  I would like to drag my focus on the awesome jewelry yula Finesmith made for this awesome gown. The “Paulinha” set contains a bracelet, the necklace and a pair of earrings. The beautiful combination of black and gold gives the whole look a very elegant and sophisticated touch. If you take a closer look you can see the incredible mix of black pearls and golden gems along with the little black ribbons. This really is a must have for every true lady’s jewelry case! MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Estonia 2012 by PurpleMoon & Donna Flora

Today I would like to show you the wonderful evening gown and the beloging jewelry of Miss Estonia 2012, Miss Nala Kurka. The “Nala” gown was made by Poulet Koenkamp, and it is the 4th of the PurpleMoon gowns that made it to the Top 12 of this years Miss Virtual World Challenge. The dress is a wonderful combination of different fabrics. The delicate lace for the upper body and the attachment at the left side of the legs, the satin part for the basic gown and the wonderful line that parts the top from the bottom and oyu just get the feeling you could grab it and make a little ribbon out of it, so real it looks. The left shoulder remains free and at the right shoulder we have an awesome filigree lace part that covers it. The “Nala” gown you can find at the PurpleMoon Mainstore, even in more colors then the nude version Nala was wearing for MVW. The wonderful jewelry for the evening gown of Miss Estonia 2012 was made by Squinternet Larnia, owner and designer of Donna Flora. The beautiful “Ginger” set contains necklace, a pair of earrings and the ring for the right hand. The gems are so wonderful textured and the filigree frames that hold the gems show the wonderful designing skills of Squinternet Larnia. MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss South Korea 2012 by PurpleMoon

PurpleMoon made not just of the gowns, that made it into the Top 12 of this years Miss Virtual World Challenge finalists. The national gown of Miss South Korea, Caoimhe Lionheard was another one :). This amazing “Sa-rang” gown has a very filigree and delicate texture that is perfectly brought on that amazing sculpted skirt. The trees are a typical asian ornament that we all know from a lot of asian pictures, asia porcelain and as well room dividers and other furniture. The color underlines the asia theme in a wonderful way. The huge black ribbon reminds me of the big ribbons I saw a lot of times at the back of kimonos as well, but it also adds a wonderful modern touch. The tassel that goes down from that ribbon again shows the amazing eye for the detail Poulet Koenkamp has if it comes to ideas and design. If you take a look at the amazing hair, it was as well made by PurpleMoon and is part of that gorgeous gown. The hair is a firework of prims and textures and a piece of art itself. The mixture of hair, jewelry and ornaments just gives an imagination how long Poulet must have sat on this awesome ensemble, which now is available at the PurpleMoon Mainstore.

Rfyre – “La Glace”

Not too long ago I got the great opportunity to wear one of the latest releases from RFyre for one of their commercials. Daron Brandeis approached me and told me that he wants me for one of his projects. It seemed kinda urgent as he TPed me to meet the designer. I was very happy as I landed and saw Raven Pennyfeather, owner and designer of RFyre 🙂

I was very happy to see her, I adore her creations for such a long time and so it was a great honor to model her newest outfit for a picture. She gave me the full black and white version of the outfit to style and I prepared stylings for all color versions. The white version of “La Glace” has the option of 3 different colors of the bodice. Red, as you can see in the first pic, white as shown above and a purple version that I will show below 😉

As well the “La Glace” outfit can be purchased in black as well with 3 different options for the color of the top. For the black version you have black, white and red to choose from.

For the Jacket you have 2 different possibilities of the neck collar. one more huge (the one I mostly used for the post as I really like it) with shoulder pads and a high collar and a smaller and simple one without the big shoulder pads and not as high around the neck.You do not always have to wear the full outfit. If you wanna skip the jacket you can see the beautiful texture that Raven used for the top it self.

The top has a wonderful deep neckline, which is decorated with an awesome, filigree and silver ornament, as you can see above for the red version. The pants and jacket are not just black either. An amazing texture again shows the perfectionism and the eye and love for the detail, that Raven Pennyfeather puts in her clothing.

My biggest surprise was as I TPed lately to the RFyre Mainstore and saw the 2 pictures made by Daron Brandeis (the first and last of this post) directly at the landing point in a very large size. I really feel happy, grateful and honored that I was given this opportunity 🙂

New Collection by Pipins!!!

Today I have the pleasure, to have a new designer that I never before had on my blog… Angiliak Crystal, designer of Pipins. Pipins is a French store and they started in February 2011 in SL. At Pipins you will find makeups, clothing and outfits for all kind of situations. Anyways if casual, classy, edgy or avantgarde.. you will find what you search for at Pipins. I am very happy that I got one of the new avantgarde outfits to show it on my blog 🙂

“Dress Epine” this extraordinary creation is named and it really got me from the very first moment I put it on… Such an awesome and high fashion idea, edgy and extravagant like I love it :p The dress contains the hat with the long pins, the upper body part, the skirt and the basic clothing layers. The long pins we have on the hat as well return on the huge prim skirt. The whole dress made in black and white really is a must have for every daring fashionista 😉 Immediately after I snapped this gown I visited all the 4 places where Angiliak Crystal showcases her different creations and it really was worth it… If you search some to stand out and be different… you really should make your way to the Pipins stores!!!
