Wicca’s Wardrobe: Today at LeeZu 07/16/2013

Today I was in an elegant mood, as I prepared for my shift at LeeZu. I pulled out the “Tatum Gown”, one of the lastest additions to the LeeZu Mainstore. What I liked the most, was the combination of flexible prims and the mesh basic and gloves. Lately so much clothing is only mesh made and that easyly can look boring. LeeZu made the best descison to cover the parts wit mesh that actually really make sense like the body and the arms. Gloves that go over the ellbows look so much nicer when mesh made as just with layers or with pirms. The great flexi parts of the skirt give the whole design some life, as you can see them moving dreamy with every step you take or every turn you do.

Since I always have to add something crazy when I wear gowns (yes I was charged that not only once *grins*), I decided to wear one of the new hairstyles of [Bizarre Hair], that MyStiCa Matova, owner and designer of [Bizarre Hair] released for the Hair Fair 2013 that just started. The “Chandelier” hair comes with a full jewelry set as well to matc the amazing pearls that are part of the hair style. With a simple chat command you can even turn the candles on and off what adds a smooth warm light when the candels burn 😉

Last but not least I would like to drag your attention on the skin. Malicia Python, owner and designer of Silken Moon, made me a new tone of my Wicca skin *jumps around like crazy*. She already made me that wonderful Wicca skin, that I used to redo my whole avatar and now she made me a special version of my skin in her ‘lumee’ tone. I was telling her that I sometimes ywould like to have a very light and pale version of my skin, especally for fantasy or avantgarde stylings, that still carries my freckles and dimples and all my amazing face features. Since I really liked my new look without the eyebrows she made that incredble, beautiful looking new skin for me. Great news for all Silken Moon lovers and those, who own one of Malicia’s fantastic skins… Mal now made the new enhancement HUD for the SLINK mesh feets and mesh hands!

Lately I was asked so many times, how I found a skin that I am so happy with that I am not willing to change. The answer is easy… Malicia made me my custom skin with all those things I dreamed of on my personal skin. If I think back, how many lindens I spent for various skins and always I had one thing that I did not like… the idea of a custom made skin was the best idea ever. You can talk about your likings and develope a skin with your skin designer and make it so personal, that you not ever wanna change again, as it kinda becomes a part of yourself 😉 With the new addition of all those tattoo layers, you only need one basic skin, that you can wear always and add up all those amazing makeups that are out on the grid to make it match to every look 😉

But now.. time to leave for my LeeZu shift 😉

Today I have the great pleasure to showcase 2 new releases of 2 mazing brands. *PosESioN* and !:Lybra:!.

Lemme start with the incredible glasses.

*PoseESioN* made amazing glasses for the actual L’Accessories event. The “Idol” glasses come in 8 different colors, so what ever you wanna match with them, you will find the right color 😉

I would like to thank my sweet briother Dahriel for the opportunity to pose with the incedible Absi for the vendor of the “Idol” glasses 🙂 .

Now I would like to drag the attention to the amazing dress I am wearing. The greatest news on that one are… Lybra Rage is back! Formerly known from the brand House of Rage, where he was designing together with Topaz Joubert and LovelyMiwako7399 Menna. He now is back and opened his own brand !:Lybra:!.

I was totally amazed as he sent me one of his firt dresses called “Vex”.

The incredible short dress is a fireworks of textures and and stunning arrangement of mesh and prims. I love how the new mesh and the ‘older’ prims work together so well and give the dress some life. The flexible prims go so well with the mesh corset and I love the combination.

For the jewelry I took parts of the new “Bali” gown from Finesmith. The collar and the high waist belt went perfect with the “Vex” dress of !:Lybra:!. The “Rose” belt and collar are decorated with amazing roses at the sides and wonderful huge gemstones in the front and in the back.

The shoes are one of my favourites from [Diktator], the “Envy” stilettos. With their horns and spikes they made the perfect match for me to the rest of the styling 😉

To give the whole look a little more edges I used parts or the new “Insect” set that my sweet brother Dahriel made not too long ago, as I thought they go s nice with the tentacles of the “Idol” glasses 😉

A close friend of mine, who is way better with words and who knows me very well wrote something for me after i showed her the pics and gave her a lot of single words and emotions and I would like to share it as it really expresses, what I only could say with pictures. Thank you Mal for finding the right words for me, for knowing me and understanding me even without any words sometimes.

Today I would like to show a dress, that I own for quite some time now, but I never made it to style it and post it. You know how that goes, if you run after all your blogger reviews and never find the time to blog something you bought somewhen 😉 So I took some time the last 2 days and finished the style and post finally 😉

The “Vague” dress from Legal Insanity was part of the RFL 2013 Fashion Fair. I got it in 2 different colors, black & white and something kinda orange & brown. For today I chose the black & white version. The texture looks very simple on the first view but if you take a closer look you can see, how amazing the white-grey looking suede parts are stitched on. The whole mini dress is mesh made and comes in different standard sizes, so that you can make sure it fits even your avatar.

A hair store, that my focus fell on lately is Miss C. They have some really neat and cool looking new hair. The “Xenia II” hairstyle with the cute curls in the front and the amazing hat, that let you change the textures by a menu just took my heart by storm ;). The bag is a super old one from LeLutka, but just because it is old it does not mean that it cannot be great… many older things that I have in my wardrobe are still wearable and uptodate. Many times we just forget that we have them 😉

The shoes are from J’s, a shoe store that I follow for quite a long time. I still remember they had the first wedged sandals with toe prims long before bare feet even were on the SL horizon 🙂 The new “Studded Long Boots” are mesh made as well and if you decide to go for the fatpack you get 5 amazing colors in different standard mesh sizes for male and female.

The necklace I took out of a new mesh jewelry set from EMO-tions called “Orion”. Usually you have a pair of matching earrings to go with the necklace but since I wanted to use the Mandala mesh ears with the tubes I decided to only wear the necklace.

Since I made it to one of my trademarks to have a skin without any eyebrows, I have to work a bot more with makeups and as well with eyebrow tattoos, if I wanna wear a darker color of hair.

The idea for the look without eyebrows, came during a shooting that I had with MaliciaPython, owner and designer of Silken Moon, for her new skin line and as well I found a few ladies out if the 70s and 80s, singers and artists, that had no eyebrows like the Italian singer Mina Cerca. All those ladies have something special and with the new canvas skin from Silken Moon it was easy to try that out. After several month of trying I have to admit I like that look and so I decided to go without any eyebrows at all. The only problem I found was, if I wanted to wear black or dark hair. Because then the no-eyebrows look became a weird touch. But how I could work that out? I did not wanna go with just eyebrow tattoos and again add me some usual eyebrows… Again it was Malicia that gave the push towards something I really liked. Why not make eyebrows that look like painted and unnatural and use them if needed. That was a great idea and to help at the beginning she made 2 sets of amazing eyebrow tattoos in that way 🙂

Rawk Balla Baby with Faster Pussycat

A few days ago I had the great pleasure to walk a runway show for the Menswear Fashion Week 2013. The show was called “Rawk Balla Baby” and it was the only “Ladies only” show for the MWFW 2013 as far as I know ;). The runway was made by Locked Semaphore and it looked like a huge guitar and some floating keyboards… it was simply amazing.

For this show I got some wonderful outfits to showcase and I wanted to spotlight at least some of them. The first would be a combination of Faster Pussycat designs.

I tweaked my show styling a little bit, to meet my personal taste and style a bit more for the blog 😉 The amazing “Maja” corset in red, is a firework of textures combined on just one corset. Parts of paintings, overlaid by a wonderful structured layer makes the corset very realistic looking. The corset really makes a super shape with the very slim waist part, who ever closed that corset had no mercy with the girl in it :p. The “Mesh Pencil Skirt” in black is the perfect addition for the “Maja” corset as the simple black skirt let s the corset shine even more. I always loved Honey Bender’s ideas and styles and with her label Faster Pussycat, she 95% totally hits the nail on my head and I just adore her creations and designs 😉

The shoes, that I as well got for the show, came from Redgrave. The “Doro” shoes are super cool with the high heel, the peep toes and the little metal decorations. They come with an amazing HUD that lets you change the colors in nearly all possibilities 😉 To underline the cool rocker look I added some strapped gloves from Dark Eden together with the amazing TonkTastic gloves.

The fantastic eyebrow tattoo comes from Silken Moon. As I decided to go without any eyebrows, black hair sometimes let my face look odd. Malicia found the solution and made some very artistic and abstract eyebrows that look like I would have painted me some eyebrows 😉 For this post I decided to go with the “Abstract” eyebrow tattoo.

For the location was looking for some rock club or even Rock’n’Roll club but I did not find some at the places I used to be. I started to look at the search and it brought me to the “13Cherry“. A super tiny but amazing club high up in the sky. It has a lot of amazing detailes and it was just perfect for the idea I had in mind 😉

Wicca’s Wardrobe: LOTD 04/06/2013 – Today at GizzA

Not too long ago I started a new job… Assistant at GizzA. GizzA does not have usual store models, the have assistants that greet and help the customers with all of their problems.

I was about looking for the news at the GizzA Mainstore as I meet an old friend of mine while she was doing her shift at GizzA and she told me a bit about it.

I always liked the idea more of being an active helper that just a quiet mannequin and since I was told they still looking for assistants she directed me to Xii, who handles all the assistants. I know Xii for quite some time and we talked a bit and not too long after I got the job. And I have to admit the team there is amazing. We have so much fun and all are friendly and helpful.

I was very excited when I prepared for my first shift and it still is so much fun to create outfits with all the amazing designs of GizzA. Many of you know me already and know as well I am not the one that just throws on folders. So I was trying to mix and match out of my huge GizzA folder and find some cute and cool outfits.

The one I wanna show you today, falls more into the category cute I guess *grins* – I know.. rare but it happens :p

I started with one of the newer releases of GizzA, the “Pure Romance Blouse” in satin white. I always had a fable for black and white and as well for the 80s and so the idea of a 80s touched black and white outfit was growing more and more and the cute ruffles of the “Pure Romance Blouse” made a great basic. I digged a little deeper in my GizzA folder and found an outfit that I really have for a long time now and the pants of the “Princely” outfit were just perfect with the wide upper leg sleeves.

The 80s had a few typical shoes and one of the was the sneaker ankle boots. I remember I had some white Adidas boots with the typical three stripes in gray on the sides. Since GizzA released some stylish “Mesh Sneakers” lately they just were perfect for the look 😉

All of a sudden I remembered the amazing watches, that Giz released not too long ago and I just added them, as huge bangles and watches as well was something I remember very well back then – god i really had some of those huuuuge leather bands with a watch on it… and the hype of the big Swatch watches… amazing*giggles*

Last but not least I decided to go with the “Sirah” hair from Burley that I always call with love my “Boy Jorge” hat :p

Crazy Connection: The question that matters

The question that matters.

Sirena was a young woman leading a carefree life. She had a good job, no worries and the men courted her, though she did not really care for them. All in all, she did not really care for anyone but herself, using the same excuses we all tend to use. “That is none if my business.” “What can I do about it?” or “I don’t want to interfere.”

She lived close to the graveyard and when the weather was fine, she took a shortcut there from the bus home. One evening, she saw a woman on a bench, crying bitter tears. The woman looked at her, but Serena quickly looked away. When she was about to leave the graveyard an old witch – by the looks of her – stepped into Serena’s way and asked straight away “Why didn’t you ask the woman why she cried?” Serena was a little scared and mumbled, I thought she was mourning, this is a graveyard after all. What can I do about her grief?”

The old witch looked at her sadly and shook her head. “Dear girl, you need a lesson in compassion. I hex you not to be able to leave the graveyard until someone shows you the sympathy you denied that woman.”

Serena did not know if to laugh or to be scared, the old woman had disappeared as sudden as she showed up. Serena headed for the exit but ran into an invisible wall. She tried to get out at another spot, but to no avail.

Whenever she tried to talk to someone, they ignored her. After a while the place took its tribute, her eyes burnt out from crying over her own sad fate, her nails grew into claws, in short, she became a fearful sight. People started to run away from her thinking her a demon of some sort.

One day, when she was sitting numbly on a gravestone mulling over her fate and feeling the pain of being ignored, she finally learned her lesson. For the first time, she did not cry out of self-pity, but for shame and pity for all the people she had ignored all her life.

Suddenly she heard a warm male voice behind her. “Excuse me, can I do anything for you?” She felt the curse break and when she turned round she saw a man, just like herself smiling at her. “I think you can go home now.” He said.
