MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Germany 2012 by PurpleMoon & Finesmith

As I said in one of my last posts, PurpleMoon did not have only one gown that made the Top 12 of this year Miss Virtual World Challenge. In complete 4 of Poulet Koenkamp’s gowns made it into the Top 12 this year and the evening gown of Miss Germany 2012 is number 3 on my blog for now… be sure number 4 will follow as well 😉 For me it is a very special gown as Falbala Fairey, who carries the title of Miss Germany 2012 is a very special person to me, she is my little sister and I am feeling very honored to showcase the gown of PurpleMoon that was made for her, as well the awesome jewelry yula Finesmith did for her. For gown and jewelry you can see how close designers are working together to create the MVW dresses. Poulet did this amazing gown, covering the colors of the german flag, which are black, red and gold, in an amazing way. The tight gown accents the well-shaped body perfectly and the extraordinary prims give some awesome highlights. again we can see Poulet’s love for th detail on the “Falbala” gown. The huge shoulder prim on the right shoulder is made with the red outside and a gold inside, as well the upper parts of the gloves have this awesome little feature. Half of the chest part glitters in gold and the other is covered by the delicate red satin texture. I totally love that none symmetric style. Now for the jewelry… yula Finesmith did an extraordinary job this year for all the MVW candidates that stormed her doors… if I look over all the gowns and jewelry I got, it seems she was the most busy designer for jewelry this year 😉 and that for a reason… she just is amazing, a wonderful person to work with and she is great in making dreams come true 😉 The “Falbala” set is an incredible masterpiece of art. The filigree earrings, the delicate necklace that goes down in the back and decorates the deep back neckline of the “Falbala” gown… simply amazing. Then the little orchid shaped flowers at the hips that carry those long and thin lines that go to the upper right and the repeat of this orchid shape for the bracelet… it just caught my heart totally! The “Falbala”gown you will find at the PurpleMoon Mainstore in different colors as well as far as I know Poulet, and the “Falbala” jewelry set you will find at the MVW room at the Finesmith Mainstore.

MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss South Korea 2012 by PurpleMoon

PurpleMoon made not just of the gowns, that made it into the Top 12 of this years Miss Virtual World Challenge finalists. The national gown of Miss South Korea, Caoimhe Lionheard was another one :). This amazing “Sa-rang” gown has a very filigree and delicate texture that is perfectly brought on that amazing sculpted skirt. The trees are a typical asian ornament that we all know from a lot of asian pictures, asia porcelain and as well room dividers and other furniture. The color underlines the asia theme in a wonderful way. The huge black ribbon reminds me of the big ribbons I saw a lot of times at the back of kimonos as well, but it also adds a wonderful modern touch. The tassel that goes down from that ribbon again shows the amazing eye for the detail Poulet Koenkamp has if it comes to ideas and design. If you take a look at the amazing hair, it was as well made by PurpleMoon and is part of that gorgeous gown. The hair is a firework of prims and textures and a piece of art itself. The mixture of hair, jewelry and ornaments just gives an imagination how long Poulet must have sat on this awesome ensemble, which now is available at the PurpleMoon Mainstore.

MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Russia 2012 by PurpleMoon & Finesmith

The wonderful national gown for Miss Russia 2012 was made by Poulet Koenkamp, owner and creative designer of PurpleMoon. She made a wonderful interpretation of the russian traditional style for Miss Rusalka Callisto, who represented Russia in the Miss Virtual World competition for 2012 and in the end made the 3rd runner up. The textures are fantastic and you can see the incredible skills of Poulet, if you take a closer look on the fabrics. The huge headpiece as well is part of the “Catherine” gown. The wonderful ensemble is now available at the PurpleMoon Mainstore. For the jewelry Rusalka chose different already existing parts from Finesmith like the earrings and ring of the Rhonda set, the “Capri Collar” or the “Golden Nails”. As an extra special eye catcher, yula Finesmith designed a wonderful brooch to match this awesome outfit and the theme. The “Fabrege” brooch is an amazing and perfect decoration for this wonderful creation and it can found in a few more color combinations at the Finesmith Mainstore.

Cuties at Purplemoon

Finally after a long time planning I made it to visit the PurpleMoon Mainstore again :p. I was in a light shopping mood and roamed through the whole store. Many amazing new outfits and gowns are there and 2 of them kinda got a special attention. First of all it was the “Tanya” dress, that you can see above. A wonderful short dress with an amazing skirt. The skirt has a shape that imagines a big tulip in both directions, up and down 😉 The top is just held by 2 thin lines, so you have much room for great accessories like the “Casandra” neck corsage, as well from PurpleMoon.

For the second dress I could not make up my mind if I wanted to have the black or the white one and I ended up getting both ‘*grins*. The name of this cute wool dress would be “Mandy”. Above you can see the white version and below soon will come the black one. For sure the eye catcher on this dress would be the huge neckpart with the amazing brooch. The short skirt has awesome ruffles and the black belt brings back the color of the brooch again.

Neiva Kumasi Couture – “Melodie”

Today I have the great honor to showcase one of the newest designs of NK Couture designed by Misha Flanagan. The brand is relativly new on the grid and definatly something to keep an eye on! For todayI am allwowed to show you the “Melodie” dress.

“Melodie” is a wonderful casual dress with amazing details I want you to take a closer look on. What really caught my attention is that the whole dress basically is made of the same texture and I never saw this made so interesting before! As well Misha included 2 different versions for the layer of shirt skirt as you can see on the olive version above. Once the lighter part ends with the belt and the other version goes down below the belt, the same option you have for the rust version as well 🙂

All the sweet and neat ruffles and attachments give the whole dress a very real look. The arm parts are decorated with wrist and shoulder prims and the cleavage is framed by anawesome ruffle as well. The bottom part of the skirt is made dreamy flexible. What took my eye as well is the cute ruffle attachment that surrounds the hips. Not usual and a very beautiful and nice idea! The black belt as well is part of the outfit and breaks the basic color in an amazing way. Ich you take a closer look at the buckle you again can see the eye for little lovlely details that Misha Flanagan has. With the olive version she made it as well in the next round of the Claim the Fame contest 🙂 WTG and congratz Misha!

Show Review of Angel Dessous and PurpleMoon

Last Sunday I was walking a show for Envision that featured designs of Angel Dessous, PurpleMoon and hair from Tukinowaguma. I really enjoyed my outfits and just wanted to show them 😉

My first outfit was from Angel Dessous and is called “Lian” here shown in the color ‘nightflower’. This great asian design leads to dreams with all its wonderful details and accessories…

The basic blue toned texture is full of wonderful little ornaments in blue and green tones. The gown looks parted in 2 parts one lower skirt and one upper that starts with that great prim attachment in the front, wich is lightly unsymmetrical to the right hand side. Another great attachment we find can see on the chest. Sweet little light ruffled parts make the seam of the top and only one neat line over the right shoulder connects the font and back of the dress. For sure the huge and great head part is one of the highlights for this dress and underlines the asian character perfectly. For the jewelry I chose the incredible “Victorian Secret” earrings from Finesmith. For the skin I used one of the new Glam affair ones out of the “Castalia” line in the natural tone. The lips are a different layer that blackliquid gave me once and this lips matched the outfit  perfectly. The hair comes from Tukinowaguma and is called “Princess” in ebony.

The second outfit I was allowed to showcase came from PurpleMoon and is called “Queen of Hearts”. The name is program for this neat dress ;).  A short and very sexy dress. Poulet Koenkamp again shows us her amazing creativity if it comes to designing. The main color of this dress for sure has to be red 😉 and it is not just a simple plain texture… way not…it is a firework of red tones and glitter and glimmering shades! The top is made like a corset with bare shoulders that let the possibility for great jewelry like the “In the Flash – Shpitz” from Finesmith.

The great “Disturbia Collection” veil and the “Sweet Cocktail” bracelets I am wearing also are from Finesmith 🙂 Thanks to Yula who has those amazing ideas for extravagant jewelry!!! A total ‘head turner’ is the big, huge head-piece that also carries little, neat hearts to underline the theme of the dress and to repeat the floating hearts that surround the little, short balloon skirt.

5 big roses decorate the higher forehead and make also an amazing detail of the whole outfit! The “Metallic Silver Nails” are made by PurpleMoon as well as the “Kis” hair style that matches wonderful to the whole outfit 🙂

My 3rd and last outfit for that show was also from PurpleMoon and it was one of the amazing bridal gowns – “Nefertiti”

This wonderful white piece of art is another masterpiece of Poulet Koenkamp, designer of PurpleMoon.  A wonderful, dreamy flexible veil goes down in the back nearly to the hips. The top is decorated with amazing detailed ruffles at the chest. The dress it self starts very tight and shows off the perfect shaped body of the bride 😉  The more it goes to the ground the wider it becomes and a nother train that follows your steps over the ground smoothly.

The “Metallic Silver Nails” and the “Era” hairstyle here in platinum are also from PurpleMoon. Earrings and bracelets are again from Finesmith. The skin also is from the Glam Affair “Castalia” line

New hair attachments by PurpleMoon!!!

PurpleMoon lately released fantastic hair attachments with the perfect matching hair bases, like we can see on the first pic. But lets take a closer look at the outfit, also one of the latest releases of PurpleMoon – “Gator”

A beautiful, extravagant outfit that can be worn with long or a short skirt. This first picture shows the long skirt version. Also you can choose between the huge neck collar or just that lovely necklace. The great necklace is also part of the whole outfit. The top is armless and has an amazing deep neckline that shows of the wonderful well-shaped cleavage. The skirt starts with an opaque part and goes down becoming more and more transparent.

‘The short version has the same great attributes as the long one, just the skirt ends after the awesome opaque part. The textures are amazingly detailed and in the front of the top you can see a sweet detailed zipper that decorates the top from the beginning, down to the belly. The great hair that I am wearing for this outfit is called “Era” and it is one of the new fantastic hair attachments of PurpleMoon. Poulet Koenkamp also created to every color the matching hair base what skips a lot of trouble finding the right color for the hair itself!

The hair attachments are available in 20 (!!!) different colors with 20 (!!!) hair bases also. Unbelievable but true! To cover all the wonderful colors I gave for every hairstyle a few colors naming them on the picture. “Era” is an avantgardistic hairstyle that totally turns head with its extraordinary shape.

“Cat” is a great non usual updo, that again shows off the great designer skills and ideas of Poulet Koenkamp, designer of PurpleMoon. A sweet unusual knot at the back of the head carries a little neat curved ponytail.

For the ones that like the longer hairstyles more PurpleMoon offers the “Mia” ponytail. A long ponytail that amazingly flexible moves with every step you take, hold by a sweet little knot at the back of your head.

A very smart and neat hairstyle you can have with the “Sun” hair attachment. 2 rows of circled hair behind each other. The second row shows of neat wisps and leads over to the tiny ponytail in the back.

Last but not least we have a wonderful elegant up do with “Ana”. Ana is a perfect addition to every ballgown or dress and it adds automatically the sophisticated and elegant note! This hairstyles are a totally must have for the modern and style loving fashionista. With all the colors I am sure you will find the perfect one for you anyways wich hairstyle 😉 The new hair is available in different color packs like “Blondes”, “Reds”, “Brunettes” and “Black & White” with five shades in each of them. Also, a fatpack with the 20 shades is available as well. All the packs include the matching hairbases. Keep in mind, that these tattoo layers will work on SL viewer 2 and compatible viewers.

A temptation in red made by PurpleMoon ;)

A wonderful combination to show the awesome skills of Poulet Koenkamp is the “Serafina” gown in ruby that perfectly can be combines with the “Rie” hairstyle in ebony also made by PurpleMoon. PurpleMoon for me always was standing for elegance, high-class fashion and a wonderful love to every little detail. The “Serafina” gown shows that too. Take a look at all the single parts…the orchids, the wonderful way the skirt is done with its light open front that gives a beautiful view on the “under skirt that ends in a beautiful lace seam! The hair as it would be made for such elegant and sophisticated gowns!

“Rie” is a very clean and straight hairstyle. Asymmetric but very elegant. On the left side it goes a little higher than on the right what gives a very interesting touch that turns heads as you look at it a minimum of twice to realize what you saw 😉

“Serafina” has 2 different options for the neck collar one with and one without the great orchid… I had to wear it with the orchid as I really like this detail a lot! 🙂 On this picture you also can see the seamed lace on the bottom of the skirt in the front I was mentioning before 😉 and for sure those incredible flowers in a better and closer view 😉 The top is very sexy with the 2 lines that go together in the back in that great neck collar and the very deep neckline that goes down in the front to the belly where it ends in the amazing black belt that starts the lower part of the gown. “Serafina” is a very fanciful creation and you will be the center of every party 😉

Today I was allowed to walk the “Yves Sainte Laurent” Tribute Show on the BOSL Fashion Week done by Boulevard Agency. It was agreat show and many designer donated a special item in tribute to Yves Sainte Laurent. I had the great honor to show case the amazing design of Poulet Koenkamp, genius designer of PurpleMoon. “Catherine” in black this lovely design is called and it really is a wonderful honoring of a great designer…

A wonderful short pencil skirt covers the legs down to the knees. The waist part is decorated with a wonderful prim that imagines a down jacket part. The top is wonderful detailed with a white shirt under a black jacket and on top you have that wonderful prim cape that covers the shoulders and goes down to the elbows. The neckpart shows off a light color part with the amazing filigree feather-looking prims. A totally eye catcher is that amazing huge hat in a lightly vintage style. Over all a dress that definitely turns heads and a wonderful contribution to this special show!

The second special will be presented on the Model Convention 2010 tomorrow during the PurpleMoon show. The Model convention is running for nearly a week now and it seems great sucess..nearly everyday the sim is filled up and informative workshops and lovely fashion shows go hand in hand. Tomorrow for the great ending there will be a runway show showcasing the amazing designs of PurpleMoon. Poulet Koenkamp designed an outfit especially for this show and I had the great honor to be on the vendor picture.

A breath-taking extravagant gown called “Corina” will be the special release for the show on the Model Convention 2010 tomorrow, sunday the 26th of september at 4PM SLT.

The long and elegant gown starts at the top with a very tight shape down to the waist. There the huge skirt starts that moves dreamy with every step you take. The aerial kind of design really let you feel like a princes walking on clouds. 2 prim attachments decorate the shoulders and underline the sophisticated touch. What definitely gets a lot of the view will be the grand back part that gives a light asian touch. The long golden spikes hold a wonderful back fan of lace and red texture.  The red texture has a wonderful pattern and repeats the one of the dress perfect.

Perfect to that gown Poulet Koenkamp designed a hairstyle named “Zoe” her shown in ebony. With the sweet knots on the eft side it definitely adds a very high-class touch to the whole outfit.

All those specials make it totally worth to take a look at the PurpleMoon Mainstore and get one of that lovely designs… or 2 or 3 😉

News from PurpleMoon!!!

On the 15th of September it was again time for amazing news from PurpleMoon. Poulet Koenkamp released 2 new fantastic designs. Today I would like to show you one of them – “Elie” here in brown.

I could not resist to style this new dress lightly vintage. The shape of the skirt remembered me a bit of that even if the textures and the accessories are more modern. The skirt goes down to the knees opening more and more till the bottom seam. The light transparent textures let imagine a sweet petticoat under it 😉 The top is a wonderful shoulder free corsage decorated with a black shape surrounding the upper body right below the chest, crossing in the front middle and end in a wonderful flower on the left shoulder. This brown and light green color of that dress makes lots of accessories possible as this color matches to a lot! If we take a closer look at the shoulder flower we again can see the love for the detail that Poulet Koenkamp has for her designs…

All the filigree parts of that flower and the wonderful white decorations make this to a total highlight for this dress. also the dress texture is not a simple plaid one.. if you look closer you will find a wonderful kinda brocade looking texture with lots of ornaments and little color shades.
