Finally Released – Mea Culpa’s Contribution for MVW 2011!

There they are, the official outfits of Miss Egypt 2011. On the 18th of december was the finale of the Miss Virtual World 2011. Mea Culpa made both dresses, country costume and the formal gown for Miss Egypt 2011.

Lets take a look on the country costume first – “Fate of Osiris” that you also can see in the picture above…

A wonderful egypt outfit that reminds of the old egypt princesses. If Cleopatra would have had a chance she would have worn it … I am sure πŸ˜‰

Wonderful fans move around the body with every step and movement. Another great highlight is the wonderful headpiece…

Perfectly matching to the rest of the outfit this huge headpiece. A huge flower looking part covers the left side of the chest. Typical for egypt are the mixture of gold and different blue tones what was perfectly made for the “Fate of Osiris” Again an amazing creation of TatankaKaligawa , genius designer of Mea Culpa.

The second outfit was made for the formal entry of MVW 2011 also for Miss Egypt of that year.

The amazing “Obscure Elation” let remind of kinda peacock theme but done in the way of Mea Culpa πŸ˜‰Β  This wonderful gown will turn heads for sure. The great flexible parts in the back wave around you with every movement and the great highlights are for sure also the jewelry parts like the 2 brooches at the chest and on the hip and the glamorous headpiece.

News from Mea Culpa!

Again a new release at Mea Culpa. Tatanka Kaligawa again creatied a wonderful new outfit called “Randomly Wild”

“Randomly Wild” is a very unsymetric dress that shows off the amazing skills of designer Tatanka Kaligawa if it comes to wild and couture looking designs. The textures are made with incredble details very cleared and thought of. The short skirt is decorated with huge prims that caress the legs while walking. The great collar that is also part of the outfit underlies the wild style of the dress perfectly and with an alpha layer it is no problem at all to walk and pose with it as well… it will always fit properly πŸ™‚ The hug upper part also has one dominant part on the right hand side, while on the left side the shoulder is covered a little more down with flexible prims that look kinds feathers πŸ˜‰

For the shoes I chose one of the latest shoe releases also from Mea Culpa, called “Romance”

This great ankle boots are perfect if you search for something special. They are HUD driven and you can choose from 6 premade color for the boots.

The anklepart is decorated with nice leather straps, buckles and neat little spikes that hang down from the ankle part. The textures are not just simple uni ones if you take a look you can see the amazing ornaments that decorate the whole boots.

So make your way to the Mea Culpa Mainstore and you can take a look for yourself and also do not forget the Christmas Special on the first floor as well πŸ™‚

New Releases and a unbelievable Christmas Special at Mea Culpa!!!

Yes it is true, Tatanka Kaligawa, designer of Mea Culpa, again created 4 new designs for Mea Culpa. 2 of them I want to show you today. The other 2 left I will for sure blog here also so keep tuned!

The first one I wanna showcase today is the “Bionic Symbiosis” which we can see also in the first picture above πŸ™‚

“Bionic Symbiosis” is a wonderful gown that again shows the incredible skills and ideas of Tatanka Kaligawa if it comes to new ideas of fashion and couture. The dress it self has a very tight dress and skirt beginning that ends in a firework of huge flexible prims the more it goes down to the ground. The color is made in a wide scale of green and black. The layers are not made of a simple plain texture, it is a wonderful combination of different ornaments and colors that make this gown to something special, to a piece of art we know the designs of Mea Culpa for. The wrist sleeves are also decorated with 2 huge wrist prims that repeat the main theme of the dress in a very interesting way. All the attached prims are kinds wavy and for sure the huge and extraordinary hat add another ‘wow’ effect to the whole design.

The second new release is called “Wind of Change” and it really brings in some fresh wind onto the fashion industry πŸ˜‰

‘This gown is made for a real ladie’s body… very elegant but also extravagant! The awesome combination of pink and black will let every fashionistas heart beat higher πŸ˜‰

Let’s take a closer look on all that wonderful details… the basic skirt layer is an opaque tight pencil skirt that goes down to the ground. Spikes decorate the creation on the right hand side leg and add a lightly dangerous and goth style. The top under the jacket has a light transparent around the basic laced texture. The jacket reminds me on an old english uniform jacket even if it is made like a modern bolero jacket πŸ˜‰ A huge, pink neck collar the puffy arm sleeves and the wonderful hat set this design also for a perfect winter outfit! at th belly button you have a nother detailed prim attachment with a huge purple ge in its center. If you take a look from the side or back you will realize how big that flexible black parts in your back are! The hat has a fur seam and the spikes are repeated from a few tentacle looking long and flexible parts that are longer on the right side then on the left of the hat..again a nice non symmetric detail… πŸ˜‰

If you look at the texture of the jacket you can see that the Mea Culpa designs are really more than just clothing that every single part is made with love to the detail. All filigree black ornaments the shading of colors, the lights and shadows… simply amazing!

As I said that are only 2 of the newest designs of Tatanka Kaligawa…so stay tuned the other 2 I will review soon πŸ˜‰ If you cannot wait you can also peek at the Mea Culpa Mainstore!

Wicca’s Wardrobe – Dark Fashion

Lately I was looking through my wardrobe again not sure what I wanted to wear. I was in a dark, straight and lightly monochrome mood…

I remembered of a jacket from LeLutka Ultra that I was not wearing for a longer time. After some searching way back in my closet I found it my black “Prison” jacket. Right beside I saw the top of the “Emperatriz” with that wonderful transparent texture and the “Lazos” corset also in black, both also from the LeLutka Ultra line. As I was looking in the mirror I asked my self if I am in a skirt or pants mood… there I saw my LeeZu “Zelma” hotpants and remembered a great leggings from Eshi Otawara that were part of the “Black Gems are Forever” outfit – perfect!

For the shoes I chose one of the new Mea Culpa ankle boots called “Rapture”. Those great black and white textured boots with that great spiky heels are the perfect addition for that outfit…

Finally I got on my black Ticky Tacky “Lick me” earrings and the black Mandala “Takara” nails with rings.

I looked again into the mirror watching myself and yes that was how I felt today πŸ˜‰

La Dolce Vita – Mea Culpa shows how beautiful it can be ;)

“La Dolce Vita”Β  – wich better name could such a fantastic gown have… Tatanka Kaligawa again showed his creativity if it comes to style and design.Β  A wonderful gown in 3 different colors that caught the theme of the name.

A tight long skirt with an amazing combination of transparent lace and a wonderful opaque texture with an amazing shine. The skirt is decorated with 3 sharp long spikes on the right side. The skirt itself that starts at the lower legs is made of wonderful lace that underlines the filigree and aerial theme of this gown. The waist is decorated with another lace part on each side of the hips. Another wonderful accessory is the chain belt that surrounds the waist so perfect.

The top is a little piece of art itself. Again Tatanka shows his great skills if it comes to textures. The top is a combination of different fabrics and ornamented textures that go perfect together. The sides are open and give the whole gown a lightly sexy touch. The sleeves are made of a wonderful filigree lace with amazing ruffles at the end. This sweet ruffles you also can find as a frame for the deep neckline framing a wonderful looking cleavage.

Another great eye catcher is the hat that also is part of the outfit. The big lace hat gives the perfect “La DolceVita”Β  feeling and is the perfect accessory to give the whole gown a very elegant touch. Again we have the 3 long sharp spikes this time on the left side.

My totally highlight for this outfit is the incredible beautiful and detailed mask. It is a tattoo layer so only to use with one of the new viewers that feature tattoo layers, like SL 2.0 and higher or Phenix, Imprudence, Emergence or all the ones that have this special feature. Again we can see the love for the detail that we know from Mea Culpa designs. Every little thing is made so perfectly. Again we have 3 spikes above each eye and an amazing decoration of long flexible “whiskers”

Overall this gown again is a wonderful piece that shows how artistic fashion and couture can be. If you have time just visit the Mea Culpa Mainstore and see all the other great news πŸ™‚
