Apocalyptic Impressions

On the 14th and 15th of January Opium was holding a casting for the new Opium Evolution agency.

They gave 3 themes to all of the applicants. Vintage, Goth Couture or Apocalyptic. All the old opium models were allowed to cast and new aspiring models could try out as well, it was announced as an open casting.

After thinking about what I wanna do I decided to get for the theme that would be my own biggest challenge… I figured that many will go for goth couture as we all have our inventory full with black great clothing and accessories. Vintage… I really like doing vintage styles and I could not decide wich style I wanna go, there are so many like 20s to 70s and in SL you will find a lot of vintage stuff. So I decided to go for Apocalyptic.

With the theme apocalyptic I immediately have movies in mind like, Water World, Riddick, Books of Eli, Pitch Black or Mad Max. Kinda a post apocalyptic theme after a huge atomic world war, where people have to get back to the basics to survive. Ruined cities where a few survivors fight for their rights and surviving.

As you can see on a few pictures I was not the only one that came up with that idea. Malek Sahara as well dressed up for apocalyptic and I just asked him if he would pose with me for a few pics πŸ™‚

I really had fun with this styling and competition for my self and to collect all the stuff together, that I needed. Together with some cool action poses and using the cool weapons I got it made my ticket into Opium Evolution πŸ™‚

Showreview: BOSL Fashion Week – Avantgarde

Today I was allowed to walk another show of the great BOSL Fashion Week. The theme was Avantgarde and again the BLVD Models had to style their own vision of avantgarde… but we as well had a premiere… our Editorial Clarity-Flux dared to walk the runway for his very first time :p For sure I had to ask him and his beloved husband RicoRacer Flux-Clarity if the would pose with me for my blog post opener pic and… they said yes!!! The result is the pic above! *happy dance* What a feeling between such great styled guys!!!

Ok Wicca… stop drooling… back to work… *coughs*

Again, as in the ‘Virtual Super Heroes’ show the BLVD Models had the freedom to style as they please to show off their very own vision of avantgarde. It was a hard decision and I made way more looks than this one… but this was the one that in the end, wich I was wearing on the runway πŸ™‚

I started with one of the new designs of the latest Miamai Black Label line – “Ungud” out f the Chod Collection. The big sleeves that cover the hands and the huge neck collar got my attention as I saw it the first time. Then I remembered the wonderful “Caged Birds Skirt” made by Faster Pussycat. I just change the color of the pigeons a bit πŸ™‚ We got eyeshadow from blackliquid and I added my longtime favourite lace tattoo from Obscure. The boots as well are from Miamai and the amazing headpieces I found at Lode. For jewelry I chose parts of the “Noir” collection of Finesmith Designs.

The show was great fun aI would like to thank all the people of the BLVD family who made this incredible show possible πŸ™‚

GizzA – “Amorah”: Modern Fashion Huntress? ;)

Lately my eye fell on a store I never saw before… GizzA. As I entered the store I nearly fainted… it is a huge store and it did not look like that it was totally new as I saw the amazing quality of all the wonderful and different outfits! The owner and creator Giz Seom was so nice and we had a little talk and I got some of her amazing designs. Today I wanna start of with the “Amorah” outfit, but you can be sure that there will follow more πŸ˜‰

The textures of the GizzA designs are just amazing… so clear, detailed and different… and as well they are looking very real and you can imagine the fabric that Giz was working on. “Amorah” you can purchase in 2 different color versions, the one I showcase in this blog is called soil. The outfit itself has clothing layers for all kind of combinations. You can find jacket, t-shit and undershirt layers for the top and for the bottom part you have a skirt and a body option for the pants layers. You can take the most close look and you will see how awesome detailed the clothing layers are worked out. Every fold, every little zipper and as well the shadows and lights show how much time Giz takes for creating this amazing outfits. But for me the total highlight are the prims on that outfit. The fur skirt with the open left side that is just hold together by that little strap… the wrist cuffs that and for sure that incredible neck collar that goes over the shoulders as well are something special that gives the whole outfit a light wild touch.

As I said you will find so many different styles and creations at GizzA that I really woudl say make your way to the GizzA Mainstore and take a look πŸ˜‰

Miamai meets Glam Affair! A wonderful combination of Skin, Facetattoo and Hair

Miamai and Glam Affair worked to gether to create an amazing winter look! Miamai designed wonderful makeups and hair for the awesome “Jadis Yuki” skin created by Glam Affair. All those wintry shades of pale inspired the designers when they came up with this skin. Very pale and white-haired, Jadis is the Narnia’s White Witch that enchants with her beauty. The skin comes with light, shimmery makeups to emphasize her pale porcelain skin.

For the “Jadis Yuki” Skin I gotΒ  3 different styles. Every stale came with many different possibilities like with and without hair base, with light and dark brows or..and that was really interesting for me even without any eyebrows!

For the 3 main styles we have a nude looking version for the lips, a light pink one and a deep red one. The skin tone is very pale and fits perfect to the winter season πŸ™‚

The red lips add a very elegant touch and they are perfect for every snowqueen πŸ˜‰

Now lets take a look at the hair that was made for this skin by Miamai

Overall we have 10 hairstyles created to fit the Glam Affair “Jadis Yuki” skin.Β  All are in that wonderful white tone and some of them have great accessories or jewelry on them.

Lemme start with “Inue” a big updo that lets much room for great jewelry with an amazing elegant look. “Lua” hides the face with its awesome wisps and a sweet decoration on the right side makes this to an absolute fashion hairstyle for the perfect everyday look. “Pari” again is a very ‘high’ and edgy hairstyle that turns heads if you are brave enough to wear it for an event πŸ˜‰ “Dahlia” is a bit smaller and again ornamented, this time with 7 wonderful silver gems that are arranged like a fan that grows from the right to the left lightly.

“Nolu” is a lightly wild and smart-looking style that also is decorated with 3 of that amazing silvergems. “Kana” – the sweet and chick ponytail that cannot be missed, also with those nice silver gems πŸ™‚

“Hera” has a sweet forehead part in addition to the big updo in the back. For the sweet rebel lady maybe “Arana” is the right hairstyle, wild but chic and with class. “Storm” honors its name with the huge and wild wisps that go up in the air without any control πŸ˜‰

Last but not least I would like to show you the amazing possibilities of facetatttoos or makeups that monica Outlander designed for the “Jadis Yuki” skin by Glam Affair.

Unbelievable but Miamai designed 25 makeups for that amazing winterskin, each one more beautiful the other and all make a wonderful winterfeeling and underline the classy and chic touch of the wonderful pale skin.

Wicca’s Wardobe – The darker side of life ;)

It was raining outside and I was on a darker mood before I was having my LeeZu shift.

I went trough my LeeZu wardrobe and found the “Van Elisabeta Jacket”. A really wonderful black jacket that is broken with a light purple texture in the middle of the body at the front, the back of the jacket and at the sleeves of the lower arms. Perfectly matching to that jacket for me are the “BritPants” in black. This awesome pants are decorated with so much nice frillings and ruffles and also the waist knot of lace on the left hip. This kinds 3/4 pants wer perfect for the new “Dncorde Danse Booties” in black. As a final accessory I choose the “Hat de la plume” this awesome headpiece with the little golden spherules all around the head and the beautiful flexible filigree upper part.

Perfectly matching to the outfit was the black “Hannya” necklace combined with the black “Shaka” earrings and the black “Takara” nails from Mandala. For the makeup I decided Redgrave and added one of the fantastic face tattoos of White Widow.

I hope you enjoyed another little trip through a part of my wardrobe πŸ˜‰

Wicca’s Wardrobe – Lazy stroll on a saturday afternoon…

Today I woke up very late, the last summer sunbeams kissed my face and I decided after having a coffee to go for a aimless walk through the neighbourhood for no special reason, I grabbed my new LeeZu “Miss Tre’s” blouse in beige and sit down on my bed again to slip in my “Desert Jeans” also from LeeZu.

I remebered the “Zoee” earrings I once bought at Leezu too and combined them with the “Buddha” nails, rings and bangles from Mandala. As I made my way to the door, grabbed my keys and sat down on that little carpet looking in my shoe cupboard… ok I stuck mostly with LeeZu..so I could not resist to put on the “BeachBum” boots… ok you got me I have an addiction to LeeZu*snickers*… then I took a last look into the mirror and left my appartment into the warm saturday afternoon…

She gets all her ideas and wonderful skills into that skins and I am very proud that I am allowed to show her first line on my blog…

“Smoked Charm” this wonderful skin is called and it comes with all options you can think on! You have the option to wear it with or without cleavage features, with french nails or even without any nail polish, even on the ones that like fingernails she thought with one option that just shows the basic skin and you can add every prim nails without wearing nail gloves to cover the nails of the skin. Also you can choose between dark and light eyebrows. To identify she has her own little code that is to read like the following:

CL = Cleavage
NCL= No Cleavage
FM = French Manicure
NN = No Nails
LTBR = Lighter Brow
DKBR = Darker Brow

To speak about eyebrows, Garded Secret included 4 different shapes for the eyebrows…

All eyebrow shapes are modify and you can edit them as you like.
