LOTD 06/24/2014 LeeZu meets Miamai

Since RL kept me from posting all those wonderful things I got at the FFL for the last 2 weeks I decided not to hide those jewels from you and post them now even if the main event might have ended already.

Today’s basic outfit was the contribution of LeeZu to the FFL 2014. The “Bon Bon” dress comes in 2 different colors, black, yellow and cream. For my post I decided to wear the cream one with the huge red accents on the skirt.

The “Bon Bon” dress is a beautiful and sexy mesh dress. The long skirt covers the legs but the top shows a lot of skin. The huge red accents you will just find on the skirt what makes them even more spotlight of the whole dress. The top again shows the amazing texture skills of LeeZu Baxter. The wonderful folds and lights that make the fabric so realistic really caught my attention too.

For the shoes I have something special as well from Miamai.

Since the dress is going down to the floor nearly I took it off for a moment to snap the shoes 😉 . The “Curiosity” Pumps in reddish satin are made for the 21shoes event. You need the Slink high mesh feet to be able to wear them properly. The feet are not part of the shoes!

The color of the shoes just went perfect with the red accent of the dress. Now that my upper body was more white while on the lower I have this sexy red color accents, I decided to wear my “Garnet Nest” necklace from Paper Couture.

And now I will jump back into my inventory and see what else I missed the last 2 weeks 😉 .

The Runway Perfect Hunt #4 – Part 5

The Runway Perfect Hunt goes in it’s 4th round :) . Morgane Batista again made it, to get amazing designers to participate in one of the most famous hunts on the grid. Even if the title says “The hunt with models in mind” does not mean this hunt is limited to models only. All the amazing and versatile designs are amazing additions to everybody’s wardrobe, even the males will find some amazing hunt prizes in some locations ;) This year the hunt is not a total freebie hunt, each hunt item costs $5 Linden. With a total of 50 shops you reach a maximum of $250 Linden, what is a great amount for so many amazing quality designs!

I always had a weakness for black & white outfits and stylings and as I saw the hunt prize from location #23, Dot BE Fashion I would not resist to do another totally black & white look ;).  Boniefacio, owner and designer of Dot BE Fashion, made a wondeful 2 part outfit called “Female Outfit” for the 4th Runway Perferct Hunt. The long black mesh pants with the wide sleeves reminded me of the good old flares of the 70s. Together with the long, geometric black & white textured mesh top it gets a light touch of a retro style. To do not another totally retro style I decided to add one of my favourite 80s look hair and the “Britsh Loafers” from Redgrave, what pulled it more towards the 80s. To give it another more modern touch I added the awesome “Dahlink Wild Zebra” makeup from Zibska and the “Lips Stripes” from Silken Moon, wich both went amazing with the black & white “Female Outfit” top :).

All the amazing and versatile designs are amazing additions to everybody’s wardrobe, even the males will find some amazing hunt prizes in some locations ;) This year the hunt is not a total freebie hunt, each hunt item costs $5 Linden. The hunt is going very well, I saw many people at the various locations as I was looking around myself. Today’s featured locations would be #2 and #5, Headturners and Baboom Couture. The amazing “Kelly” dress with the super cute and huge hat are the contribution from Baboom. A wonderful summer dress in black and light pink. The shoulders are free from any lines and with the huge floppy hat it gives a real summer feeling 🙂

The lipstick and the bangles come from Headturners. There is a pair of nails as well going with them but I lately like my mesh hands so much, that I did not wanna fiddle around 8 hours, to make them fit to the mesh hands ;). The light pink lipstick goes perfectly with the “Kelly” gown.

Today I would like to showcase the contributions of Alafolie, location #24 and [mock], location #45.

Alafolie has a wonderful ready-to-wear outfit that comes with some amazing features. The sleeveless short is knotted at the right hip and the pants have an amazing shine. What makes this outfit super special, there comes a HUD with it what lets you change the textures of the pants and as well of the top. In the box that you get you will find shoes also that match the outfit, I just wanted to go with a bit more casual style instead of heels 😉

[mock] has a set of amazing lips glosses for the TRPH #4. 3 different colors of gloss and each one in 3 different versions. All 3 colors are wonderful nude colors and add an awesome shine to your lips without being upaque like usual lipsticks 🙂

German Girls in Prism ;)

The newest release from Prism is a beautiful little cocktail dress named “Angeleena”. With all the amazing colors Journey McLaglen made for that dress we got a funny idea. Why not try kinda german flag with 3 german girls wearing the new outfit…? Above you can see the result. Me in black, Oralee in red and Falbala in shiny gold… and ready was the german flag in black – red – gold with our Miss Virtual Germany 2012 on the right outside 😉 Thank you Oralee and Falbala for styling and posing with me 🙂

As you already can see on the first picture, there is many different way to mix and match the new “Angeleena” dress. This is something I adore Journey for. She designs outfits and you first of all can mix and match them with every other Prism outfit and as well with some totally different. So you can give one outfit a lot of different looks. For example the “Angeleena” dress… First as I got it on the closest idea would be just keep it like it is and add some shoes, hair and jewelry and wear it as what it is on the first hand… a sweet, beautiful cocktail dress, as for example Falbala did it for the golden version of the dress. For me it said something totally different as I put the black version on and with adding one piece after the other it developed a totally other style…

The more I added the more the cocktail dress turned into a rockabilly chick 😉 With the fishnet tights and the tattoos “Angeleena” still is the same dress with a totally different look.

As I started the ‘What can I do with “Angeleena”?’ I could not stop anymore and try on what else I can come up with :p

My next style is more of a casual, light urban style still with the “Angeleena” cocktail dress. The dress includes 2 versions for the jacket layer, one with and one without the shoulder lines. I just added one of my LeeZu jeans, chucks and one of my favourite hairstyles from LoQ to complete the casual look. The sweet choker with the flower in the front is part of “Angeleena” itself.

In the end I decided, I could just once wear the outfit as that what it was meant for. In the end it again turned into something different… but I guess it comes close :). Still the look is not that elegant, than Falbala did it, it more turned into an everyday cute and sweet girlie style. The hairstyle from Truth, with the huge flower underlined the cutness for me 🙂

Prism – Free Gift, News and Sneakpreview!!!

Today I have great news of Prism again, and I do not know where to start with :). There are so many exciting news… but let me start with the gift at Mimi’s Choice... Unbelievable but true… “Laura” in the unique color ‘old rose’ is the actual gift at Mimi’s Choice!!! (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Deep%20House%20Island/102/86/22)

This amazing outfit comes as ready to wear outfits with the skirt, the stockings and pullover. The cute ruffles are a total highlight for this outfit. And again if you take a closer look at the textures… absolute high-class like we know it from Journey McLaglen 🙂

Now we come to some very secret news… I heard Journey is working on a new outfit… and  was observing her tailoring laboratory for a few days… and I was successful in the end :p

The new object of desire is called “Keira” and it comes in many different colors! I was able to ‘borrow’ a few to make short snaps before I had to get them back without being caught… 🙂

The amazing version with the wonderful white birds on the blue ground is called “Migration”. The outfit comes in many different possibilities to wear for all versions. You can have black gloves and the colored arm parts and the matching colored stockings with this awesome upper end parts.

Or you choose the tights version of the stockings. You just skip the upper legs prim parts and wear the long black leggins that are as well part of every package!

Third possibility would be, that you wear the black armparts instead of the colored ones :), like I chose for the “Fall Flowers” As you can see you can do different types of looks with all that great possibilities! If I recall correctly, “Keira” will be released this weekend and all the colors you saw, plus 2 more will be available at the Prism Mainstore (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Bal%20Harbour/34/162/22).

Now we come to the most exciting part… I only say so much… run and join the Prism inworld group! The ‘winterstripes’ version of “Keira” – if I remember that little note of Journey on her desk right – will be the next group gift for the Prism inworld group!!! Can you belive that??? I saw the new Prism store already^^ :p

Yesterday Journey McLaglen, designer and owner of Prism, showed me her new store that will be opened on the 1st of October and I have to say an amazing new and shining store. For sure you will find many of the well-known Prism outfits but as well some brand new out of her new Fall Collection 2011!

For example the “Gabrielle Sweater and Pants” that I am wearing for this blog post. This combination is perfect in colors and style for the actual season. The great paisley printed fabric is, as always, hand printed by Journey herself. She has such a perfectionism that every of her creations are a little piece of art.

The sweater comes in 2 different versions. A short and a long one so you are prepared for every weather situation 😉 Do not miss the grand reopening of Prism on the 1st of October 2011 🙂 and see all her new and long time favourite creations in a bright new light 🙂
