Future Fashion with Finesmith

Again I was in a funny mood and tried to find a way to show case the new Finesmith “Aphrodite” set. In the end, after trying different looks and styles I got stuck on a future fashion vision. The set contains earrings, necklace, bracelet, ring, lip piercing and the fantastic helmet. Again yula Finesmith created something extravagant. I never saw a jewelry related helmet before in that way. She included this helmet in an awesome way to the whole set. The set is sold in separate different colors but as well a huge fatpack , where the jewelry again has yula’s great color change menu. The menu let you change the metal parts in 2 ways. The petals can be retextured for another color and the spiked as well. Also the gems can be changed in color with the menu. “Aphrodite does not only have simple metal textures that you can change in color. Every texture has wonderful ornaments that decorate the basic metal, very filigree and light but they add an extra touch of noblesse. The lip piercing for adds the edgy touch and is a cool accessorie for the whole set. The color driven set and all the single colors you will find at the Finesmith Mainstore 🙂

“Lollipop” meets “Candybird” – Cute News from GizzA & Finesmith!!!

The “LolliPop” dress of GizzA got an old song stuck in my head like an earworm… (Tunes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rYoRaxgOE0). With hearing that song I started to style the latest release from GizzA. For sure it had to be something cute and kinda vintage. The “LolliPop” dress it self can be styled in many different way as it comes in a wide color range as well 🙂 The typical glasses for the vintage look I found at artilleri and for sure I had to add some super cute booties.The huge skirt part still is very filigree made and the glitter texture gives the whole dress a very special shine. The chest part is decorated with a lovely ruffle that brings back the theme of the wide, short skirt. The sheer gloves make a perfect finish for this dress and are also included in the color you pick. 🙂 “LolliPop” you can now find at the GizzA Mainstore.

The super cute Finesmith booties were released right in time to combine them with the GizzA dress… for my case it was kinda fate :p, as it totally matched my vision of this styling. The “Candybird” booties as well come in a lot of different colors. So you could try to mix and match different colors of “LolliPop” and “Candybird” as well.If you make your way to the Finesmith Mainstore you can find them at the little inside store, the shoe section.

For the hair I again used one of the new styles of Urban Lutz. Urban Lutz is a very new hairstore and it has already it’s trademark and more and more people feel be attracted by this idea. Taylor Wassep only does blond and black hair. The styles are very modern and fresh and mostly it is hair attachments what is a huge favour of mine anyways :). Until now Taylor has no hair bases included but the colors of the blond and black she has, go easily with all the hairbases we anyways have in our inventorys… I tried that 🙂 If you are alway on the run and search new hair like me, you should try Urban Lutz 🙂

Awesome Mesh News from Violator!!!

Today I have the pleasure,  to showcase the latest release of Violator. “Di Vernice”, a wonderful gown with a combination of mesh and prims parts. This elegant gown again shows the awesome skills of soraya Vaher, owner and designer of Violator. She can combine the most different pats and fabrics and she makes it look artistic and very high fashion.

This time she made this awesome sexy and as well very elegant dress of vinyl. A very difficult texture to make and to work with I was told. The lights and shadows are so amazing set that you can see the fabric shine and reflect the light in an awesome way. The bottom part of the dress is opened at the sides and shows the long sexy legs of every fashionista.  The skirt is made of wonderful flexible prims and the top part with the short skirt is made with the new mesh technique. Soraya included 5 different sites of the mesh part so that you can find the right one for your shape. If you take a closer look on the jewelry parts that decorate the skirt, they are part of the “Di Vernice” as well. A beautiful platinum rank that goes up till your waist where it is connected to the belt. The incredible “Di Vernice”, here shown in black/platin as well is available in 3 more stunning colors like black/gold, red/gold and purple/gold at the Violator Mainstore.

The wonderful eyepiece as well is part of the outfit and brings back the skirt decoration in a beautiful way around the eyes. The eye decoration really adds some extra elegance again to the wonderful “Di Vernice” dress.

To complete the look I just added earrings from Finesmith and hair from a very new but super cool store… Urban Lutz. The creative head behind Urban Lutz is Taylor Wassep. She only features black and blond hairstyles. “Lotus” is one of her latest releases.

Finesmith Muse 2012 – My Finale Styling

For the finale of the Finesmith Muse 2012 we got the theme to be a romantic princess… not my usual style but I tried my best 😉 I know it was some time that the finals were done, but my I wanted to have pictures done by my sweet little sister Falbala Fairey. With all the MVW 2012 she was so busy and I am very happy and grateful that she took time for me and this fantastic pictures. Thank you so much sissy they are fabulous and exact what I had in mind :), you made me look like a beautiful princess 😉

The description for the show we had to write on our own again and I got help from the wonderful Sweetest Sands. She is a wonderful person with a huge imagination and fantasy and awesome writing skills and a nother sister of mine. She wrote me a story that we just had to shorten lightly , so that it could be used during the show. I am very grateful that I have such an awesome support from people who I am allowed to call family 🙂

Story:

Many years ago in a far away land there lived an enchanted kingdom deep in the heart of a forest, where both fairies and humans lived together in harmony.  The King was a handsome strong and kind human man, and the Queen the most beautiful sparkling fairy ever seen before.  The Queen’s gift of her sparkle lit the kingdom brightly at night which was important as the all the trees would block the light from the moon and stars above.

The King and Queen lived many happy years together until one day the stars sent them the gift of a special daughter called Princess Wicca, who had the strength of her father, both the beauty and the sparkle of her mother.
One day a great storm befell the Kingdom and for many days the skies rained heavily and the sky the darkest shade of grey that Princess Wicca had ever seen before. The week before Princess Wicca’s birthday the storm had passed, but so too had her sparkle, as if it had been washed away by the rain drops.  The Princess looked everywhere she could but feared her sparkle had been lost forever. The King and Queen called upon all the humans and fairies to help to find the Princess’s sparkle before the twelve hour of the day of her birthday, in return they would reward the gift of as many Finesmith jewels as they could carry.

Everyone in the kingdom set out to find the Princess’s sparkle, with humans searching the land and fairies searching the sky in hopes of being the lucky one to find it.
From one nearby kingdom, a handsome charming Prince decided to join the search in hopes of being the winner.
Days passed and hopes of finding the lost sparkle of Princess Wicca began to seem but a distant dream and many stopped searching, but the Prince seemed determined not to give up searching even the smallest flowers and tallest trees.

The day of Princess Wicca’s birthday arrived but the joyful day had no meaning for her with the great loss of her sparkle.  She was wearing just a simple white gown from Tres Beau, ornamented with the “BlackBarbie” train and her favourite Finesmith jewelry. The “Winterflower” earrings, her “January” necklace, the “Kagami” ring she got from her father as she was born and a little “Snowflake” brooch. Her parents tried their best to give her hope even though there was but a few minutes from striking twelve.

As the Princess turned her head to look into the distance as the clock began to chime, she noticed a handsome man carrying a gold chest with a velvet ribbon tied around it walking towards her.  With bated breath she stood perfectly still with the great hopes of it being her lost sparkle.  The man knelt before her “Princess Wicca, it is with great honour I bestow upon you the return of you once lost precious sparkle.” And with that he placed the chest before her, eager to see it she pulled hard on the ribbon and lifted up the lid of the chest as fast as she could, and there before her very eyes was indeed her found sparkle of light.

The Princess danced around and around laughing out loud now reunited with her once lost sparkle, the Prince admired her beauty.  Both the King and Queen overwhelmed with joy presented the Prince as many jewels as he could carry and joined their daughter in the celebrations.

Awesome limited sets at Finesmith!!!

 A few days ago I got the notice about yula Finesmith’s new limited sets… I did not even look and just ran*lol* and if I take a look now it was good. Nearly all of the “Chamonix” sets are sold out!!! Each colorset just had 30 pieces for sale and I am hell happy, I got me the silver onyx version, you can see above and the gold quartz one you can see below for myself , at the Finesmith Mainstore 😉

MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Belgium 2012 by Champagne & Finesmith

The stunning evening gown of Miss Belgium 2012, Miss Sylphia Constantine, was made by Champagne! Sparkling Fashion. Enzo Champagne himself created this wonderful and stunning evening gown for the this year Miss Virtual World challenge. The deep and shining red immediately caught my eyes. This is the red of an elegant and sophisticated gown called “Heart of Belgium”. The skirt is made dreamy flexible and if you take a closer look you can see all the awesome details. The waistpart that leads over to the skirt so perfectly, the silver decorations and the black and red feathers at the left hip… simply amazing. The upper part surrounds the waist and chest beautiful like a tight corset without any lines over the shoulders.The right shoulder is repeating the feathers of the hips and as well the little silver ornaments. A delicate lace texture covers the right chest and goes up over the shoulder round the neck. The same fabric you will find foe the tiny gloves that add as well even more elegance. In th middle of the cleavage we have a little key… maybe the key to the heart of the owner, maybe the key to her jewelry box? 😉

Talking about jewelry… The wonderful and incredible “Lush” set was made by yula Finesmith and it highlights the whole style of the fashionista. The little earrings go perfect with the huge shoulder piece and the hairpin puts a nother beautiful accent on every hairstyle. The bracelets repeat the shape of the hairpin again. The red of the jewelry is perfectly made according to the red of the gown and the silver as well goes with all the silver ornaments of the “Heart of Belgium”. MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Belgium 2012 by Champagne & Finesmith

The wonderful, playful and still elegant national costume for Miss Belgium 2012 was made by Champagne! Sparkling Fashion. The sweet accent this outfit has combining with the cute flowers with the red and yellow colors gives the whole out fit immediately a positive attitude. The corset is made with such nice, filigree details, the texture with the little ornaments… just amazing. The flower decoration at the cheat part goes so wonderful with the jewelry and the short skit underlines the cute look perfectly. “Belgium Ducasse” was for one of the most cute outfits for this year MVW 🙂 The “Belgium Ducasse” dress you will find at the Champagne!
