The Approach…

Crazy times… Corona still holds the world in its hand and all of us try to do our best to fight it, even if we cannot see yet any success and things seem to get worse and worse. I know it isn’t the fact, but sometimes it feels like it. We are now in our second week without school in Germany. I am a teacher (usually in the mornings I do teach at a school) and I do have a tiny private afternoon tutoring company. Usually I am surrounded by kids all day and in the past I had days where that was quite exhausting. Always having 10 to 60 kids around you from 8 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon didn’t feel always easy but now that I see how it is to have none of them around – it doesn’t feel good either. I am lucky to have the possibility to hold online classes and have some one-on-one tutoring as well, but it doesn’t feel the same. Before the difficulties were the noise in bigger groups, or the kids being distracted by looking outside the window and now… the difficulties have changed. I never thought it could be that hard to explain something like mathematics to a child online only online… you talk a lot more trying to describe everything and if they have to draw triangles with certain length or certain degree angles. Most of them do not have the technical equipment to show you what they did, they usually only can take a snap with their cellphone and send it to me.. and if they spend already like 20 min to do that task and then something went wrong you can start all over again.

Certainly it has a positive side as well – I do not have the distance and the time to drive to school and back in the afternoon and I have the advantage of having an open bowser all the time to find answers I might not know out of the blue for certain questions, so I do not wanna whine or rage about it – I just discover everyday the differences and the different difficulties. Between all that I try to keep my Mom inside and safe – she is over 70 and recently had a brain tumor and chemo after it, so she is in the risk group for that damn virus as well. So my Second Life times at the moment are a little bit more limited and not as regular as I used to be, but I do not want to stop blogging and taking pictures completely as it feels like a little bit of resting time and holiday for my brain when I do that.

The pictures for todays post I already did  over a week ago, but I wasn’t able to post work them and write something about yet. So now the Cyber fair by ACCESS sadly is over but I am sure you can find all the goodies in the designers main stores already or soon.

First of all the amazing vinyl ensemble from A&Y called “Phex”, which is a combination of a long sleeved top and short pants with an awesome, realistic looking shine. It is decorated with straps and zippers and with the huge HUD you can change the colors for all different parts including the metals.

All the amazing accessories I as well found at the Cyber Fair, but like I said before I am sure you will find them most likely either already or soon at the designers main stores. The incredible face art done by Nefekalum Tattoos comes in 3 different versions. You can find many different tings in your folder. First of all the 3 different versions of the makeup it self. Black Tears only, Red Smudge only and a full version of both. Furthermore you will find appliers for head and body materials and the belonging erasers. On top of that, since all his tattoos are materials enabled, Sir Skye added a perfect projector (light source) as well, for you to use if you like.

Certainly I did need some cool nails and rings to complete my outfit and it was no question that the “Creature Claws” from CerberusXing were just the perfect choice. They are available in 3 colors (silver, onyx and gold) and rigged for Belleza Jake,  Signature Gianni, Maitreya and the female Slink hands.

The smart looking hair style was made by no.match. I love the wild top hair, the shaved sides and the fact that you still have 2 wisps at your ears. Like always for no.match hair styles you have different color packs and a fatpack available. The purchases will include a shaved hairbase as well, but since I do have my own shaved hair base I did not use it for todays post 😉

It was time again to built my own set – I found so many cool things at the Cyber Fair, I just had to. All you can see, from the backdrop over the drinks, food (weed) vending machine and the incredible animals, I collected at the Cyber Fair.

I would like to draw your attention a little bot towards the animals. The “Caged Biter” is available in 3 different colors. You can separate the animal from the cage as you can see in my pictures. The Biter is an animated mesh design and has adorable movements, which make it possible to have some more interactive looking pictures with the different poses or the animal.

I do have an immense fun at the moment with cyber and sci-fi posts as they open a whole new range for pictures and styles to me. We do not know what the fashion or environment will look like in our future, but for me that gives us a lot of room to experiment and the possibility of unending creativity 🙂

“Lake” came to the Skin Fair!

First of all I wanted to excuse myself for not posting the past 2 weeks, but as you all know the times at the moment are a little bit difficult. The new situation with the Corona virus did turn a lot of lifes upside down I guess. For me being a teacher and doing private tutoring in the afternoons,  having all the school closed now did throw me into a little bit of stress to keep my monthly income up at least as much that I do not run into trouble over the next few month.

But now all is settled and I can do pictures and post again \o/

So today I would like to showcase the new LeLUTKA Evolution head called “Lake”. You can find it at the Skin Fair together with the first new male head for the Evolution line, which is on a promo sale for the duration of the Skin Fair.

“Lake” is the 3rd head of the new Evolution Line, which concentrates on the new BoM feature. I already did a full review 0f the new HUD and all its features HERE. It does come with a default skin but since I have so much fun with playing with skins on the new Evolution heads I decided to fool around with some of the new Glam Affair skins.

To me “Lake” appears as the most edgy and adult head of the 3 for now and I loved the mouth part a lot. Today I am using it with one of the new skins of Glam Affair – made for the new Evolution lines – called “Cindy”, which you can get at the Glam Affair main store. I used tone “002 E” as I love me some pale look 😉

That amazing “Hairbase.c88.22”  as well was made by LeLUTKA for their new Evolution head line and perfectly fits for a centre parting long hair style or even for a ponytail hair attachment. You can wear it solo as well like I did, with a hat or a cap on only.

So many great dark news out there – I had not even a choice about not doing something with them *grins wickedly*

Let me start with that ultra cool tongue, pierced with a fish hook. Could be an accident or a fancy fetish, but in the end it is something I loved when I first saw it *snickers* The “Ziecklin’s tongue” is made by CerberusXing. The incredible details on the texture of the hook as well as the tongue make this definitely a must have for all who love the more creepy edge of  SL fashion and style. The Tongue is available in 4 different colors with or without RLV option.

As well from CerberusXing comes that amazing crotch piercing, that holds some delicate laces from the bottom belly downwards. CerberusXing collaborated with Ichigo for this special and super sexy design and with the HUD you get several color options, plus the ability to hide and show the laces as well as the clit piercing, that I did hide in my micro panties as I wanted to keep the post PG so you all can see all the new goodies. I will have a post for that piercing soon, which will be an adult only entrance then 😉

Lets take a closer look at all the goodies I found at the Aenigma event. The event is run the first time this month and already it has so many amazing designers showcasing their newest releases there. The cool face art is one of them. Made by ::moonshine::, it comes with appliers for Genus and Omega and with the new BoM layers. It as well contain a black half moon for your forehead which I skipped for todays post, because my bangs would have hidden most of it.

The kick-ass, cool earrings you can find at Aenigma too. I love barbwire stuffs anyways so the “Heart Security Earrings” from {PSYCHO:Byts} were a must have for me too. At the same event you will find the collar from unstable as well as the mega amazing tattoo from Nefekalum Tattoos. I already said how much I love Sir Skye’s creativity and this time he outdid himself again. The “The Gift / Gave” tattoo concentrates on the front upper body and has a lot of stuff coming with it. In the box you will find the BoM layer for the tattoo, a Maitreya & Slink Applier, an Omega Advanced Applier and a materials only HUD. Sir Skye states: “Materials-Only appliers tend to be tricky depending on what body you are using. To achieve the best effects on any tattoos that seem “bumpy” in the ad, your best bet will be to use the “all together” version of an applier that applies both the tattoo and the materials to your mesh. Most bodies support this option. Bakes on Mesh users can still use materials-only to achieve the shine effects but the bumpier materials will be lost. ” About the materials eraser I guess I do not have to explain much as it simply helps you to remove the materials again fro your body. The tattoo is made with materials and if you want to see it in its full glory, you have to make sure you have a body that supports materials. I mean they still will work without but then you just miss half of the awesomeness. What you as well will find in your box is a materials eraser and a projector that highlights the tattoo at its best.

Blue Mood

Did you ever have that… that you didn’t have quite an idea for a picture but you wanted to have it in y special color? Lately that happens a lot to me, that I know what colors the general over all picture should have and then I just try to squeeze what ever it becomes to match those color ideas *giggles*

Today it was blue – I really had a Blue Mood today, I do not know why though.

For this pictures I had 2 basics I wanted to blog – the new dress from A&Y, which they offer at the current round of ROMP (I wanted to do that earlier but with my sickness and the need to lay down, I wasn’t able to sadly) and the super cute little “Chonk Demon” from HILTED, which they released at the current round of Aenigma, a new event that happens the first time this month.

I LOVE A&Y for their design ideas as well as for their incredible latex textures. Usually I try to style up something cyber or sci-fi with their designs, but this time I wanted to show that even if it is latex, it can be very versatile in different looks. I combined the awesome “Jane Dress” with a fur stole from {le fill casse} and the whole look got a lightly elegant chic. I so would go to a cocktail party or on a red carpet like that *snickers*

Certainly the look has to have my personal twist and I added some of the amazing piercings from CerberusXing and I painted me some eyebrows for today, as I saw fit for them to complete my look. The strong makeup I needed I found at alaskametro<3. I recently got the BoM layers for all those awesome makeups I had as appliers, as I just could not live without them anymore.

The cool hair, which was right perfect for todays look was made by no.match and you can grab it at the eBento event at the moment. I always had an addiction for non-symmetric hair that has a little bit of a wild touch so the “No_Shit” hair style was right down my alley.

Another addiction of mine are nails and rings,  usually claws I do love even more and if they come with huge statement rings – even better! The “Conjuration Claws of CerberusXing are just a perfect example of that. Huge, sharp claws and different rings for all fingers. For the claws you even can decide if you want a plain or a scaled version to make them even more evil 😉

Back again…

After a long week of being forced offline due health issues, I finally be able to sit again – YAY!

It was a rough week, which started with an ugly flu with fever and all that jazz. When that looked as it would come to an end… I got one of those creepy abdominal-wall abscesses again, which I had about 3 years ago already. Certainly it started on a Friday night, probably to make sure no doctor would be available over the weekend. After I resigned myself to it and made plans to go to the doctor on Monday, just to make sure it gets handled right – it broke open in the night from Saturday to Sunday :/ So certainly on Monday the doctors appointment was set and a little more important than intended.

A long story short – I refused to go to the hospital like I did in the past, as they kept me for nearly 6 weeks just because of that. So they asked me to come every other day to check on the wound. They kept ordering me not to sit as that only would add pressure to the wound, which would not be the best idea, if I want it to get better.

I HATE being forced to do nothing and if I lay on the couch for too long it feels like the ceiling falls down on me, but this time I had no choice as lying was the preferred way of staying on the couch according to the doctor. So was home the whole week and could do nothing, because while laying on the couch much more than reading watching TV, browsing the internet on the tablet or sleeping isn’t really working.

Since Yesterday I am allowed to sit again – at least for a while and so I couldn’t wait to do some more pictures for my blog – I had so many cool style and picture ideas in mind before that all happened!

I wanted to start with something that I would call casual – I know many of you will disagree, but for me that is casual… maybe I should call it “Wicca Casual”.

Anyways, So today I wanted to wear those cool new sneakers I picked up at Cupic Inc., be fore I got sick. Certainly they do request a super cool look to be featured and so I thought I can add some of my favorite designers to it. The corset comes from CerberusXing. I wanted to wear that for along time and when I put it on, I immediately has the idea for the rest of my style. The top I grabbed on one of the many sales events, not sure if it was the FLF or the 60L$ from Access… sometimes I just grab stuff, when I think I can use it later on and sometimes I even forget that for quite a while *giggles*

Another great detail are the “Halimaw Ear Weights”, which are made as the new L’Homme gift – you can find them at the new store of CerberusXing. The only thing you have to do is join the L’Homme group, which is free to join.

As promised, again iam wearing one the cool “Falkor” eye patches, which is part of a full gacha set. I already showcased one of them HERE. This one is called “Grid” as it doesn’t cover the eye completely. 5 metal stripes are the center of the eye patch so you can see through still.

For the location I chose our store parcel. I enjoy to built little sets lately a lot and since the general environment on our parcel perfectly matches my vision of casual, I just did built a little spot around the radio station on the right side of the store. I will leave it up for a bit, if you like it and want to use it for pictures, feel free to come over. We do have a few sweet spots for pictures on the store parcel as well as in front of our doors in Bartertown 😉

When I styled todays look, I already had that song (above) in mind and since it is German, I tried to translate a few  lines for you all 😉

Again I am showcasing some of the incredible releases from the Mainframe event. The event has about half-time by now and some creators even put half-time news or gifts out us all – you really should check them out 😉

When I saw the insect legs from AMBIX, I immediately had an idea what I would like to do with them. I never saw something like that before in Second Life in such an amazing quality and with even an AO coming with them… The Black Widow jumped into my mind and settled down while I was looking through some other new releases of the Mainframe event. I marked all the goodies of the Mainframe event blow my credits you you can be sure to not miss any of them.

Sometimes I have the desire to tell a little story with my pictures and with the Black Widow, I had to have a victim for her and I didn’t want to go for the most obvious and use a human this time (maybe another time *grins wickedly*). That is the reason for the awesome, little dragonfly with me on my pictures.

So my biggest challenge this time was, how to  get my Black Widow in a cyberpunk or sci-fi looking surrounding without looking too weird *giggles* While I played around with the “hex frames” from Toxxic, I did remember the “Neon Retrowave Landscaping” set, which I picked up on a FLF. I KNEW they would come in handy some when!

Now that I had my perfect set I was able to go some more crazy with more news from Mainframe! Normandy made some really interesting pieces and since I was already wearing insect legs, the cool “Auto Fangs” with the matching lip stick, just matched perfectly in my imagination and the “Oeil” set with the eyes and the forehead accessories made the face look just perfect! I love cyberpunk and sci-fi sets and styles a lot as you can go crazy with kinda no limits not being called constantly a freak :p

Before I will run back to SL to do some more pictures, I would like to drag your attention to my panties and collar, which are made by CerberusXing. I already showcased both before but lately I simply cannot live without CerberusXing anyways plus I saw exciting news on his Flickr stream. He is remodeling his store completely and gave a little sneak preview (HERE) – it is really worth watching it!

And as I already said… back to Second Life for some more picture and fancy ideas *snickers*
