Loovus Dzevavor & ANTURE for the Ashraya Project

Dress: ANTURE – “Sarame” – NEW (exclusive dress for the Ashraya Project)

“The Sarame dress is 100% rigged mesh. It features India’s National Bird the Peacock (hand painted), along with traditional images. The aim of the design was to bring traditional Indian imagery to western fashion. In India the Peacock is a symbol of beauty, joy, grace and love. It is this that inspired me to create the Sarame dress after all every man, woman and child is beautiful and deserving of joy and love, therefor I wanted the dress to be graceful in its design, just like the peacock. I hope you enjoy the dress as much as I enjoyed making it.” (Temperance Kellman, ANTURE – CEO & Designer)

Maniera Casting: YAY! I made it :)

Last Week I had the pleasure to b allowed to come to the live casting of Maniera. Maniera was a dream for me for a long time and I was very happy, that I made it through the first round and was invited to the live castings.

Maniera always stood for some extraordinary for me. The magazine they do, always was made in high quality and the models who are working there are all wonderful girls and guys with a great sense of fashion and style.

The live casting had a very cool theme and it was told in a little story so that I would like to just steal the words off the NC I got from Katherine Comet (Yes, I asked her and I may use them she said. Thanks for that Kat ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

“Theme:

Your talent agent has gotten you an audition to be a supporting role in a Jungle Safari Thriller movie as the sidekick assistant to the leading actor who is a Detective trying to solve the case of a missing person.ย  You’ve been told you would be carrying all of the detective’s paraphernalia but you have to look good doing it.ย  You really want to knock their socks off with your knowledge and incredible ability to look like youโ€™ve โ€œbeen there, done that.โ€ย  Your audition will take place on location, IN THE JUNGLE, so you have to be prepared.

You know you have to be practical; the bugs and animals are out in full force but have been told you may not use any prim material which covers your face!ย  You MUST get this job as your career depends on it.

How would you dress and be prepared for the perils of jungle life, but still look the part of the supporting role in this major movie production? ย
ย ย ย ย  ย
You’ve been given the storyline and requirements; now roll with it, have fun and good luck!”

The challenge it self was great fun for me. I tried to slip into that role and thought about it very seriously.. about not having high heels walking through a jungle and carry stuff around, about all the bugs and little animals that would eat me up if my clothing would be too short and show too much skin… all that stuff. And while I was searching through my inventory all that old movies like Indiana Jones, Crocodile Dundee, The Mummy and many more came into my mind and slowly a look was born. Thanks to all of the judges that made one of my dreams come true and took me to Maniera as a proud Maniera Model ๐Ÿ™‚

[AD] Creations & Urban Lutz for The Ashraya Project

I am very happy that I can show you 2 more designs that will be part of the Ashraya Project.ย  Aliza Karu, owner and designer of [AD] Creations, created a wonderful black and white dress with some cute glasses. The “Andrew female” outfit really is something special. The skirt is made with the new mesh technique, the rest of the prims, like the belt, the glasses, the lace and the jacket collar, you can edit like usual prims or sculpties. The ribbons and the lace part beneath the skirt, give the whole outfit a playful dolly touch. The cool unsymmetrical gloves again show the genius ideas of Aliza Karu, who always for me was one of the designers that created outfits and items out of the box and beside the usual mainstream ๐Ÿ˜‰

The hair as well is a contribution to the Ashraya Project. It comes off the house of Urban Lutz.ย  Tayler Wassep made this amazing “India” hair as her part for the great charity event of Anna Sapphire. The hair has some wonderful decorations with the little golden and red golden parts on the forehead and the whole style looks like a ponytail in the back.

The LM for the Ashraya Project will be posted as soon as I can get a hand on it ๐Ÿ™‚ But I really like it to show you some of the great items before hand so you can maybe make your own personal shopping list already ๐Ÿ˜‰

Les Petits Details for the Ashraya Project

Today I have the great pleasure to show one of the first designs for the Ashraya Project (http://wiccamerlin.wordpress.com/2012/04/17/the-ashraya-project/)

The beautiful “Summer Breeze” dress with the matching hat… both made of wonderful shaped and textured sculpties .

The “Summer Breeze” ensamble will be available in 3 differnt colors. For my post today I picked the blue version. The dress is made in a wonderful aerial way so that you nearly can fell the light summer breeze that waves trhough the skirt. The huge ribbon is a wonderful detail, that adds a lightly playfully girl touch.

The “Summer Breeze” ensable will be the charity item from Les Petits Details for the Ashraya Project and such a sweet dress that matches the actual season in such an awesome way AND helps a good cause should not be missed in every fashionistas wardrobe ๐Ÿ™‚

The LM for this fabulous charity event will be given out soon and be added as soon as I got it ๐Ÿ™‚

For the jewelry of the look I chose one of the latest releases from Finesmith – the “Folieole” set in mapel. The wnderful colors and the unusual shape made the perfect finsh for my today’s look ๐Ÿ™‚

Medieval Moods

(Models: Falbala Fairey & Wicca Merlin; Picture: Falbala Fairey)

TWA – The White Armory... we all know the creations of Bee Dumpling. She made wonderful creations wh let every medieval heart beat higher. Many roleplayers are basically have a second home in her store ๐Ÿ™‚

For the wonderful first picture of this blog I would like to thank my little sister Falbala Fairey. I admire the style she does her pictures in and so I asked her, if she would pose with me for a medieval picture and if she would even do the picture :). The styling card of Falbala’s outfit you can find at ย http://falbalafaireyfashionblog.wordpress.com/

Now lets take a closer look on my outfit, the wonderful “Dance of the Maiden Gown – Lady Annette”. The whole dress carries pink, white and black as colors. The textures and fabrics are amazing and detailed made.. you really can see how much love and time Bee puts in her creations. The beautiful white blouse with the long and flexible arm sleeves, the incredible corset vest with the awesome arm parts… simply a dream. Every little detail is captured so intensive and real I rarely saw such a great and filigree eye for the details as Bee Dumpling puts it on her designs. The “Dance of the Maiden” dress you will find in more colors than the one I just showed… for that you better take a look for yourself at the TWA Mainstore.
