Nefertiti Kimagawa for “Claim the Fame”: Week 6 – Cyber & Future Couture

For the 6th week of Claim the Fame the designers had to create a Cyber or Future Couture attire for male and female and make a description that was read during the TV show on Metaverse TV. (http://metaversetv.com/blog/2011/05/claim-the-fame-6/)

All designs are available at the KULT District (for slurl please click here)

Nefertiti Kimagawa:” We are now going to head to a Cyber club that is literally Cyber.  Nik Is that club’s most popular dj and with his turntables on him, he roams the dance floor playing the hits of the year 2157.  His body is beginning to digitize and turning him into a hologram that can only mean one thing, the party is really about to get started!

On the hovering dance pads, Luna is dancing to beat in her glowing pink outift.  Like Nik, Her body is beginning to digitize into a hologram.”

PNP Pose Show – Review

Last Sunday the OGlam Agency presented the first show for PNP Poses made by  Spishak Sorbet.  Spishak Sorbet made a lot of new runway poses that were show cased by the OGlam models. It was an honor as well as a pleasure for me, that I was allowed to be part of that amazing show. The show was sponsored by Apple May, Azoury, Sascha’s Design, Champagne, Priviledge, !Silken Moon and Finesmith Designs. To give a short impression of that amazing show I would like to show you the outfits and poses I was allowed to showcase on the Runway.

My first outfit came from Apple May and was called “Cheery”. For skins we were sent to !Silken Moon and for “Cheery” I decided to wear the “Blog Frog” skin of the Rebel II series. The green eyeshadow and lips were the perfect addition to the color- and playful outfit. The jewelry for sure comes from Finesmith – and yes it is no secret that I adore yula’s creations as well as her genius designing skills and ideas 😉 – for this outfit I chose parts of the new “Rusalka Inspiration” set that matched the colors of the outfit and skin perfectly! For shoes we were allowed to pick from the great Mary Jane Shoes, made by Infiniti Mirihi. For this outfit the new “Cheeky” pumps in red where the perfect addition.

For this outfit I picked poses from PNP of the “PNP Runway – Mode” series.

The poses I used for the show were the “PNP Runway – Model 6, 28, 30, 42, 50

The second outfit I was wearing walking down the runway was made by Azoury and carries the name “Tenue Tooti”. The skin as well is from the Rebel II line of !Silken Moon and is called “L8ter G8ter” The jewelry as well for sure is made by Finesmith Designs and it is a mix of the “Vivienne Inspiration” set (earrings & headpiece), the “Ash” collar and let me add the fingernails as they are from Finesmith Designs as well, the “Finesmith Nails Painter v.1”

This dress was a real challenge to pose with the big sculpted prim that makes the skirt. But a few of the “PNP Runway – Dress” poses wer able to take the challenge and win 😉

For this outfit I used the “PNP Runway – Dress” poses 11, 44, 51, 56 and 63.

From Sascha’s Design I got the wonderful black “Zephra” gown. Again I used a skin of the Rebel II line of !Silken Moon , this time the “Mio Vio” skin. The jewelry is the “Idioma” set from Finesmith Designs and the shoes again I got from Mary Jane Shoes and they are called “Attitude Stilettos”

For the SAS Dress I chose poses as well from the “PNP Runway – Dress” series and it was the 2, 4, 9, 15, 24 and 46 that you can see in the pics above 😉

My 4th outfit was made by Champagne with a signature face tattoo from Garded Secret, that was made especially for this outfit called “Samba”. The skin is the same as I used for my first outfit and the shoes again came from Mary Jane Shoes, this time the “Strapped Stiletto” in cyan. The earrings are part of the “Valeria Inspiration” set, what is a limited set from Finesmith Designs.

For the “Samba” outfit I mixed poses of the “PNP Runway Haute” set and the “PNP Runway Dress” poses. From the “Haute” set I used the 2, 7, 10, 19 and the number 55 of the “Dress” series.

My last outfit for the PNP Pose Show was from Priviliged and it is called “Isadora Exclusive”. The skin is the last of the 4 Rebel II skins and named “Funny Bunny”, the jewelry set is the “January Colletion” from Finesmith Designs, the shoes are again a pair of the great Mary Jane Shoes – the “Satin Pumps” in white.

This time I again used poses from the “PNP Runway Dress” line to showcase the wonderful gown. I chose the numbers 8, 18, 20, 23, 26 and 27.

I hope you enjoyed my short review of this wonderful show and you take the effort and make your way to the PNP Mainstore and try all those wonderful and new poses 🙂

Mayden Ushimawa for “Claim the Fame”: Week 5 – Leather & Lace

For the fourth week of Claim the Fame the designers had to create a Leather & Lace attire for male and female and make a description that was read during the TV show on Metaverse TV. (http://metaversetv.com/blog/2011/05/claim-the-fame-5/)

All designs are available at the KULT District (for slurl please click here)

Mayden Ushimawa:”I thought the lace and I came immediately to mind a “moulin rouge dancers” with their sexy dresses adorned with lace and ribbons. that is why I wanted to draw the banknotes in the Garter , it are the tips that the dancer has earned! The gloves make the suit more aggressive and with bare feet is much more sensual.

Create a man dress with lace was very difficult, at the beginning I had no idea what to do, I thought a lot and I decided to be inspired by a tango dancer and generally to a Spanish look, a red rose on mouth could not miss!”

Thetra Blackheart for “Claim the Fame”: Week 4 – 1920s

For the third week of Claim the Fame the designers had to create a 1920s attire for male and female and make a description that was read during the TV Show on Metaverse TV. (http://metaversetv.com/blog/2011/05/claim-the-fame-4/)

All designs of the Claim the Fame Shows are available at the KULT District (for surl please click here)

Thetra Blackheart:” The Smooth Criminal is the envy of all  women, especially the ones who are  ‘naughty’ at heart.  This  flapper dress embraces a womans  body with  retro fabrics and colors of ‘ecru’ ‘heather’ and periwinkle. The flowing fringe gives a ‘peek a boo’ of the untouchable!    The creator paid  close attention to the fine details  applied to this  dress.  Garter, stockings and hair piece, finish the  look.   Men will line up to dance with the flapper girl wearing this dress!

What a picture perfect 1920’s gangster! With his  ‘leaden’  pinstriped suit,  “ecru” shirt and “heather” tie.  He’s looking sharp and will be in the spotlight at any ‘speakeasy’  Look out! he’s rolled up his sleeves,  he’s on the prowl and ready for action!  The fine details of this outfit is what makes it stand out among the rest.  A must have in any man’s wardrobe.”

Finesmith Designs – Inspiration Sets March/April Part I

Finally I made it to snap my wonderful inspiration set of the Finesmith Muse 2011 contest. On the 1st of May, Finesmith Designs had a wonderful show, produced by Kabuki Boutique. The show was called “11 Rooms”. Each room had a special scene.

Each model with it’s own inspiration set had a room that was made especially for that set. Taylor Wassip was acting in a bedroom, Luralie Bailey danced in a club scene, Rissa Friller was in a shopping rage at a Jewelry Store, Aliyeh Yifu, the little mermaid  was swimming in an amazing underwater scenerie, Shena Neox was putting together a wonderful style in a dressing room, Vivienne Coppola showcased her awesome set in a cabaret show, Jamee Sandalwood wandered around the forrest, Sy Whitesong hovered through the downtown at night, myself was captured in a dungeon, Melanie Sauterau (for the show replaced by Serene Faith) strolled through an Art Gallery and Rusalka Callisto was turning her body in front of a camera in a photostudio.

During the show always one room was opened and each model has it’s own song to showcase the jewelry with a short choreography of poses. The audience was sitting in the middle of a black room and one room after another opened and a short story was read in a very interesting way not like the usual scripts of fashion shows. For this blog post I for sure wanted to show you the incredible set yula Finesmith made for me and as well I will try to show you all the wonderful sets one by one :). Luckily, I got the script afterwards so I can give you a short impression what was happening there :). At this point a big thank you to Xenobia Foxclaw who did this awesome script 🙂

As I mentioned… my room was a little dungeon. All in red and black with a cage and candles. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/kabukimodels/5679571069/in/photostream) and for sure a text that matched this theme perfectly 😉

“Wicca Merlin was not born into the life of slavery. She entered it willingly with her eyes wide open. She adored her master and did his bidding. From cleaning his house to pleasing him in bed…she did it all without a word of complaint.

She knew he particularly liked to find her in this elaborate cage that hung in the dungeon surrounded by candles. She knew she looked especially pretty in candle light, and she loved the way the metals glinted and the candles set them ablaze on the walls. Tonight she wore his favorite set of jewelry – the Finesmith set that had been made to fit her. They felt warm and sensuous, and they fulfilled the promise he made when she signed the contract that made her his slave. Wicca would only enter such a relationship if the reward were her own set of jewelry from Yula. Wicca was quite sure she had the better end of that bargain.”

The second set I would like to show you, was made for Melanie Sauterau. For the show Serene Faith our actual MVW replaced Melanie as she was not able to make to the the show.

“Tonight is the opening of a new gallery exhibit. The pieces have been selected with great care to show the best work of this renowned artist. She is so young to be so accomplished in photography, oils, marble, metal, and gems. Her metal work is undoubtedly what she is best known for. I’m so very honored to be part of this exhibit. I’ve heard people say how very life-like I am. Some have even reached out to touch my skin to assure themselves that I am not a living model, or they watch my breast to see if I breath. I don’t understand how I cannot be living though – I have feelings, I love, I cry, I wonder..
I wonder who this person is who I’m named after – Melony Inspiration. Melony is a beautiful name, she must be beautiful to have inspired a work such as I am and the jewelry that I wear. I wonder if she is living still – perhaps a long lost love or a mother remembered fondly. I wonder what the story behind me is…I wonder.”

The last one for today yula made for Vivienne Coppola. A wild and fresh set that totally is a must have for every fashionista!

” Of all of her friends, Vivienne Coppola is the perfect one to appear in a dream cabaret. She has a wonderful collection of vintage flapper clothing. She is also dramatic in her behavior and her movements. She is even known to burst out into song and dance right on the street.
Even her jewelry, from Finesmith Designs, is perfect for her dramatic flair. The pieces seem somehow exuberant just like Vivienne. The band, the music, the dance, the beat of the drum – it all seems so full of life.
Listen, perhaps you can hear her now coming down the hall singing, “Stroke that shiny coat, stroking is the antidote, stroke that it’s a start, only for the wild at heart” – such a sexy song to sing and dance to. Yes, Vivienne is the perfect one to appear in this cabaret.”

All of the March / April inspiration sets are limited to 50 sets each and you can as well purchse them in single parts! As I said there are 10 new inspiration sets and I will show them to you one after another, so stay tuned for all the other lovely piece of arts created for wonderful models by yula Finesmith, owner and genius goddess of Finesmith Designs!

H&S goes Avantgarde!

Lately I got a very interesting outfit from a store I did not even know before. Nicki Vervain, owner and designer of Hot and Sparkling Fashion Company gave me this wonderful outfit called “Reaching”. I was very curious and went home unpacking it and what I saw just amazed me! A wonderful composition of waving huge prims in silver. The outfit is made of 4 clothing layers and 4 prims to attach. Private parts are covered by the clothing layers 😉 The huge neckpart with the 2 shoulder attachments and a center one, wave dreamy around you with every move, as well as the skirt part does. I have to admit I was definitely surprised and I will have to make my way to the H&S Mainstore to see what else Nicki Vervain created 🙂

Thetra Blackheart for “Claim the Fame”: Week 5 – Leather & Lace

For the fourth week of Claim the Fame the designers had to create a Leather & Lace attire for male and female and make a description that was read during the TV show on Metaverse TV. (http://metaversetv.com/blog/2011/05/claim-the-fame-5/)

All designs are available at the KULT District (for slurl please click here)

Thetra Blackheart:” One word describes the Eclettica “Tres Chic!”  Using only the best in Kid leather, Italian lace,  and solid brass accessories command  it’s posche look.  The Jackets raised shoulder and upright collar compliment  the beauty of a womans slender  neck. Open ‘V’ front with straplettes  delicately  caress the breast and harmonize with the  lace camisole.  Straps match the intriquette bottom trim.  The skinny pants complete the look  perfectly.   Cuffs carefully detailed to match jacket belting. Lace half gloves finish the look.   “Tre Chic”  pales in describing this magnificent  Couture!

The Eccentrico’s intriquette workmanship has demonstrated it’s finest creation  by using the softest  of Napa leather and ‘tribal lace’ overylay.  The dyed Armour black outfit  is accompanied by the “London Tan’ shirt.  Inner vest is overlayed in lace and  hugs the torso.  Collar, and stitched  sleeves are accentuated by the detailed cuffs.  Belt, and pants  are finely stitched and designed to highlight  the entire ensemble.  This Couture is a must in any man’s closet!

SynsualSyn Sawson for “Claim the Fame”: Week 5 – Leather & Lace

For the fourth week of Claim the Fame the designers had to create a Leather & Lace attire for male and female and make a description that was read during the TV show on Metaverse TV(http://metaversetv.com/blog/2011/05/claim-the-fame-5/)

All designs are available at the KULT District (for slurl please click here)

SynsualSyn Sawson: “The Female Outfit “DeVille”  marries leather & lace in a stunning and unique way.  Syn shows off her shading & texturing talent on two of the hardest colors, black & white.  The form fitting, two toned leather body suit begs to be touched while the lace on the upper chest gives you tantalizing glimpses of skin.  The black belt gives the body suit definition with an added pop from the jewels that match the lovely multi-faceted diamond necklace and bracelet.  The two toned stole brings sophistication and a bit more softness to an already sexy, fashionable, and classy outfit.

The Deville Male Outfit shows just how hot men look in tight leather with the two toned, black & white pants with cuffs, also showing off her shading & texturing skills.  The formal jacket with collar and trim is supple & elegant.  The shading and seam on the back of the jacket, as well as the collar and split bottom trim, bring this jacket to life.  The jacket is left unbuttoned to show off the male physique as well as the white undershirt with split formal cuffs and straight collar.  The flexuous belt and two toned lace pocket hankies give this look the perfect finishing touches.  The complete outfit is a statement in couture elegance and style.

Lexi Vargas for “Claim the Fame” Week 4 – 1920s

For the third week of Claim the Fame the designers had to create a 1920s attire for male and female and make a description that was read during the TV Show on Metaverse TV. (http://metaversetv.com/blog/2011/05/claim-the-fame-4/)

All designs of the Claim the Fame Shows are available at the KULT District (for surl please click here)

Lexi Vargas: “Gentlemen Dare.
– ‘Dare’ to wear this edgy combination of leather and lace for maximum impact 🙂 But don’t worry, the unique way the jacket is cut makes wearing red lace look masculine.   The matching black leather pants dip low onto the hipline leaving a sizeable portion of torso available for appreciative viewing. ‘Dare’ is complemented with stand up collar and cuffs subtly edged in red.

Ladies-Sweet Leather
‘Sweet Leather’ makes leather seem soft and feminine. The fit n flare skirt consists of panels of lace enclosed in leather that flow to the floor in the latest maxi length. The bodice of sumptuous white leather with a lace panel at the front and black laces to pull in the waist which finish in a bow. Ruffles of leather define the decolletage and  hipline adds to the beautiful proportions of this dress. ‘Sweet Leather’ is the perfect outfit for a midsummer’s eve 🙂

Inga Wind for “Claim the Fame” Week 5 – Leather & Lace

For the fourth week of Claim the Fame the designers had to create a Leather&Lace attire for male and female and make a description that was read during the TV show on Metaverse TV. (http://metaversetv.com/blog/2011/05/claim-the-fame-5/)

Inga Wind:” Nari seduces with her bare right shoulder, while separate layers of leather and rich lace meet on the other, binding into a strap. Both layers cling to each breast, giving a hint of the cleavage in between, while leading the eye down to the softer ruffles of leather attached to the intricate belt. The set also includes medium long pants with delicate leather flare extensions. ”

“Nairen is an eye-catching sleek indian-leather inspired outfit, blending together the eastern and western accents. The top features traditional asian sleeves and Mao collar, leading the eye down across a layer of truly golden lace. Decorated with distinctive details along the edges, the long sculpted extension is fastened with a half-seethrough, half-leather tailored couture belt.”
