“Wicca the Lioness” – A very special creation from Poulet Koenkamp!

Today I have a very special creation of PurpleMoon. This outfit is going to be part of the Back to Black event of Keira Seerose. The Back to Black event is an awareness event of mental health. For all participants Keira gave out several key words, the designer had to work with and make creations and designs according to the given word. The word Poulet got was ‘courage’. But before I tell more about the story behind the wonderful “Wicca the Lion” outfit I would like to add a personal story I have with this incredible design of Poulet Koenkamp, owner and designer of PurpleMoon.

I know Poulet quite for some time and she always was very kind and friendly. Even as I was a very new aspiring model she always supported me and let me blog her awesome gowns. She as a huge past and archived a lot with her clothing. PurpleMoon is one of the most wanted stores for Miss Virtual World designs, as well PurpleMoon supports many charity events if they have a good reputation and Poulet takes part in many different little events for limited and special creations. She dedicates a lot of time to help and support several events and people.

A few weeks ago, as I finished another blog post for her we were talking and I asked her what people have to do to get gowns named after them. It was kinda in a funny mood and meant as a little joke even if I for sure dreamed in forever to have one of her creations named after me. But I actually never thought about this could happen, as mostly very well-known people were allowed to give their names for PurpleMoon creations.

Then she suddenly said “Just ask me.” and I started shivering and still did not really got it. The she asked me to tell her a few words about me so that she could get an inspiration. I told her a bunch of attributes and words that came in my mind if I think about me. In the end I looked my words and was afraid as they totally made no sense together. But Poulet said, it was exactly what she needed to work with and I was even more excited.

Time went by and I started to think that I gave Poulet too much weird input about me, as she suddenly ran in my IM again and told me she wanted to tell me something. We actually talked on voice for the first time ever – she really has a wonderful smooth voice that fits her personality totally – she told me that she did a gown named “Wicca the Lioness” as she was working on the item for the Back to Black event.

Here I would like to steal her words that she put on her flickr as it is the short version of what we talked…

“I would like to share a little bit of the story behind this picture. I’ve known Wicca for long time now and I’ve known myself for even longer than that, but not as long as you are thinking.

Around 12 years ago, I had to go through, what it is so far, the hardest moment of my life. It came like a storm and I thought it was never going to leave me. Depression, phobias, fears, panic attacks, you name it. For a while it was almost impossible to even get out of my house, or stay in a room with more than two people, or teaching my students, or … pretty much feeling that I was going nuts. And as somebody said the other day, whatever your brains tell you, you will believe, it’s your brains, you know?

A month or so ago, I get this invitation to be part of the “Back to Black” event organized by CHIC with the main purpose to raise mental health awareness. Later on I was given the word “Courage” and asked to create an item inspired on the concept of “Courage is not the absence of fear; it is the overcoming of it”.

Around the same time, chatting with Wicca we come across the idea of creating an outfit inspired by her and she brainstormed for me a few words that I kept on a notecard.

I struggled for a month. There was no deadline for Wicca’s outfit but there was one for the event. One day, don’t ask me why, I realized two things. One, I was relating a lot with this creation, with the word, with the concept. Courage. It took me a lot of that to get out of the place I was many years ago. If somebody is looking for an advice, what worked for me was therapy, lots of it, and a couple of hours of yoga every day. I found myself, the one that was hidden and afraid. I overcame to my fears; I faced them, battled them and accepted them. They keep coming back sometimes, but I know them already and they are not as strong as they used to be. I keep fighting.

The second thought that came to my head was that the beginning of the outfit I had in front of me was not only about my own courage, there was something else in it. I looked for my notecard and read out loud the words Wicca gave me, they were all there. [16:22] Wicca Merlin: crazy, elegant , tight, extraordinary prims, satin, classy, avantgarde, shiny, adult, non-symmetric

It seems that all these words, thoughts, memories and impressions had been bouncing in my head for while and they all came out in the shape of the “Lioness”. Who has an armor to protect herself, who has the strength of a lion and the fragility of the feathers; who has an open heart easy to break but that she has learned to protect; she decided it is better to keep it open giving as much love as she can than refrain the power of its love.

A little story that might inspire somebody else, It takes a lot of courage to walk through troubling times, but, you learn so much on the road, it absolutely worth it.

With this words I even felt more honred that this wonderful creation carries my name now. I cannot compete to Poulet’s picture at all but I at least wanted to show her how much this outfuit means to me and I tried on by myself as well. It has so many details that just come right of my heart and Poulet made the effort to look behind my outside and she catched so many of my inner that is nearly not to belive… but she did it…

Poulet I have no words that would nearly describe how much you touched my heart and how grateful I am… still… thank you lots and you know how much it means to me 🙂 *hugs you tight*

Leather for the newest Chic from Yasum

Casual combined with chic… that’s Yasum. Again Azlyn Vaher surprises with an awesome leather mesh outfit. The long tight coat perfectly covers the well-shaped body of a fashionista. If you take a closer look the leather texture is brought awesome on the mesh prims and gives such a real look… unbelievable great.

The “Home for Christmas” outfit comes as a full outfit with all the awesome accessories. The scarf you have in two versions one with a resizer and one to mod for you likings and needs. The unisex hat and the cool traveller bag are as well part of the outfit. For the bag you can have the options to wear it with or without the cute little tickets at the side. If you would like a different color of the bad you will find a few more colors at the Yasum Mainstore.

The awesome “Trend” boots are as well part of the “Home for Christmas” outfit. Like the long dress the boots are as well mesh made, what means you need one of the viewers that shows mesh clothing. Incredible Autumn News by Tres Beau!!!

Yesterday I had the great honor to judge at the Styling Forward contest with Frolic Mills and Kimmera Madison. It was great fun and we saw some  cool Halloween stylings. After the show, Kimmera, Edi and me, talked a while and had fun in some pose stores. During that time Kimmera gave me 2 of her new designs. Not long after I excused myself and went into my dark corner to look at the outfits… WOW!!! Both are incredible great and so perfect for the actual season! I was sitting over my inventory to find a few things to style this wonderful outfits quite a while, but then it looked like I wanted it to be :p …

The first you can see in the pic above is called “Flight”. The huge feather collar inspired me to use the great face tattoo from Miamai that reminded me of some feathers of dark birds as well. That brought me on those 2 crows and the dead tree in the back ;). The lipstick was made by Oceane and the earrings are one of my longtime favourite, the “Vivienne” earrings made by yula Finesmith. The boots and the hat are as well part of that amazing “Flight” outfit of Tres Beau!!!

The second outfit for today as well from Tres Beau will be the “Meryl” dress in red…

On this dress you again can see Kimmera’s skills and possibilities if it comes to designing. The beautiful corsage has a handpainted texture as usual for Tres Beau clothing. That for me it makes it very special, as you really can see nearly every brush line, that is needed to make such a wonderful and unique texture! I only can imagine how long it takes to draw and paint such a filigree texture. What I always adored on Kimmera’s work is that the textures seem to move with the avatar… the texture hardly gets stretched weird or destroyed while my pixels move. The awesome sheer skirt as well is a pice of art if you see how it moves with the avatar. The  right flexibility and moving time to let it look really real. The 2 big ornaments at the left hip and the head make amazing eyecatchers and give an extra touch of elegnance to the whole outfit. News by Sascha’s Design: Evil Chick – a must have for todays fashionista :)

Sascha’s Design again created a multi possibility outfit for the evil chick looking fashionista 😉 The basic, which all combinations go are white pants with an awesome detailed belt. For the top you have 5 different styles you can play with and the awesome jacket is made of sculpted prims. For the top that I wear under the jacked I chose the corset looking one without any sleeves.

One version of the amazing black and white top is a longsleeved one with an amazing neck collar.

The third option is a very sexy one without sleeves and a sweet hole at the cleavage. The texture is lightly different and let it look a bit darker in complete.

The longsleeve option we had before can be word as a short one as well with the same amazing neck collar. The last version is a non usual one that has a free belly and just very slim lines over the shoulders. Overall Sascha’s Design again created a wonderful outfits that can be mixed in different styles and looks and you will be always dressed right for what ever you plan to go 🙂

PNP Pose Show – Review

Last Sunday the OGlam Agency presented the first show for PNP Poses made by  Spishak Sorbet.  Spishak Sorbet made a lot of new runway poses that were show cased by the OGlam models. It was an honor as well as a pleasure for me, that I was allowed to be part of that amazing show. The show was sponsored by Apple May, Azoury, Sascha’s Design, Champagne, Priviledge, !Silken Moon and Finesmith Designs. To give a short impression of that amazing show I would like to show you the outfits and poses I was allowed to showcase on the Runway.

My first outfit came from Apple May and was called “Cheery”. For skins we were sent to !Silken Moon and for “Cheery” I decided to wear the “Blog Frog” skin of the Rebel II series. The green eyeshadow and lips were the perfect addition to the color- and playful outfit. The jewelry for sure comes from Finesmith – and yes it is no secret that I adore yula’s creations as well as her genius designing skills and ideas 😉 – for this outfit I chose parts of the new “Rusalka Inspiration” set that matched the colors of the outfit and skin perfectly! For shoes we were allowed to pick from the great Mary Jane Shoes, made by Infiniti Mirihi. For this outfit the new “Cheeky” pumps in red where the perfect addition.

For this outfit I picked poses from PNP of the “PNP Runway – Mode” series.

The poses I used for the show were the “PNP Runway – Model 6, 28, 30, 42, 50

The second outfit I was wearing walking down the runway was made by Azoury and carries the name “Tenue Tooti”. The skin as well is from the Rebel II line of !Silken Moon and is called “L8ter G8ter” The jewelry as well for sure is made by Finesmith Designs and it is a mix of the “Vivienne Inspiration” set (earrings & headpiece), the “Ash” collar and let me add the fingernails as they are from Finesmith Designs as well, the “Finesmith Nails Painter v.1”

This dress was a real challenge to pose with the big sculpted prim that makes the skirt. But a few of the “PNP Runway – Dress” poses wer able to take the challenge and win 😉

For this outfit I used the “PNP Runway – Dress” poses 11, 44, 51, 56 and 63.

From Sascha’s Design I got the wonderful black “Zephra” gown. Again I used a skin of the Rebel II line of !Silken Moon , this time the “Mio Vio” skin. The jewelry is the “Idioma” set from Finesmith Designs and the shoes again I got from Mary Jane Shoes and they are called “Attitude Stilettos”

For the SAS Dress I chose poses as well from the “PNP Runway – Dress” series and it was the 2, 4, 9, 15, 24 and 46 that you can see in the pics above 😉

My 4th outfit was made by Champagne with a signature face tattoo from Garded Secret, that was made especially for this outfit called “Samba”. The skin is the same as I used for my first outfit and the shoes again came from Mary Jane Shoes, this time the “Strapped Stiletto” in cyan. The earrings are part of the “Valeria Inspiration” set, what is a limited set from Finesmith Designs.

For the “Samba” outfit I mixed poses of the “PNP Runway Haute” set and the “PNP Runway Dress” poses. From the “Haute” set I used the 2, 7, 10, 19 and the number 55 of the “Dress” series.

My last outfit for the PNP Pose Show was from Priviliged and it is called “Isadora Exclusive”. The skin is the last of the 4 Rebel II skins and named “Funny Bunny”, the jewelry set is the “January Colletion” from Finesmith Designs, the shoes are again a pair of the great Mary Jane Shoes – the “Satin Pumps” in white.

This time I again used poses from the “PNP Runway Dress” line to showcase the wonderful gown. I chose the numbers 8, 18, 20, 23, 26 and 27.

*X*plosion – Sexy in Denim!

*X*plosion again released a wonderful complete outfit for the sexy urban fashionista! “Extremely Lady” – the outfit for the modern fashion girl!

“Extremely Lady” has lots of different versions or options to wear, besides all the colors that tis outfit can be purchased 🙂 The whole outfit with the matching peep toe sandals, as well called “Extremely Lady Shoes” is available in 5 different colors (black, blue, brown, lightblue and red). The lingerie that is included too can be worn in white or black as you like. As you can see in the pic above, I was trying all 3 styles that the new “Extremely Lady” outfit contains. On the left the sexy type with the 2 garters in the front that hold the lower legs sleeves in place. For this version the body suit is very short and the deep front neckline nearly ends with the suit itself 😉

In the middle I wear the full suit with the long jeans version. Same deep neckline in back and front… yes ladies in the back as well… so deep that you can see the delicate filigree panties as well 😉

At the right side we have the short ‘hot pants’ version of the suit. Same great features of the suit on the upper body as well 😉 The short arm sleeves are made of prims, that you attach on the upper arms.

Overall Kaliha Noel again made a wonderful complete outfit and if you make your way to the *X*plosion Mainstore you can see all of that amazing colors “Extremely Lady” can be purchased 😉

Wicca’s Wardrobe – Colorful Spring Mood ;)

Yes it is me even with colors *grins*

The weather was so nice and the sun kissed my pale skin and I remembered some of the latest releases of LeeZu and started to put some together 😉 Rare but true Wicca can go colorful and casual as well. The warm sunbeams kissed my face and decided to go red and yellow for a bit 🙂

The top is made by LeeZu and called “Miss Tre’s Blouse” in red. The sweet ruffles and the awesome sculpted collar really had the right touch for my spring look.  One of the latest releases by LeeZu were the “Cortez” pants here in light vanilla. You can decide if you wanna wear them with or without a shadow. For the belt and the straps on the right leg you have the possibility to change the texture with a HUD that comes with the pants. The belt and sleeves of the pants are made of awesome sculpties as well that give a lovely realistic look. To bring the yellow color more out I decided to wear the “Cat Tights” in yellow. To complete the look  I took the “Esprit de Sable” boots in red from Courtisane, “Ayana” in  messy blonde from Miamai and the left “Kayma” earring made by Finesmith Designs. The skin is my actual favourite still – the “Castalia” skin from Glam Affair 🙂

Now it is time to go for a walk and show off my new styling idea on the grid 😉

Winter Chic with Miamai!

One of the latest releases of Miamai is the wonderful “Henna” jacket in many different colors. For today I wear the black version and I added the great “Gypsy” pants in black also from Miamai as I thought they really match the jacket perfect 🙂

The cool “Henna”jacket is made with such amazing details I will show you on a few close-ups to discover all or them 😉 The “Gypsy” pants are a little older and not longer available but for me the went so perfect with the jacked that I could not resist to get it out again. With the great attachments, the lace covered hole at the knee and the great made folds it was the prefect addition for the “Henna” jacket.

I really was catched by all this amazing little details… all the pockets and the zippers… you nearly can grab it so real they are looking 😉 The texture is also not just a plain black one… as always monica Outlander went through all the parts with her great designing and texture skills 🙂

Also in the back you can see the sweet open belt round the waist, even the bottom seam is not just a simple straight line… really fantastic! Lights and shadows are perfect set to give the great cool and urban look.

For sure a highlight also is the big feathered neck collar! It adds an extravagant touch to the whole look  🙂 There are more amazing news of Miamai that I for sure will showcase the next days 🙂 If you cannot wait make your way to the Miamai Mainstore and take a look by yourself 🙂

Wicca’s Wardrobe – every girl wants to be an angel …sometimes :)

Every girl tries to be an angel sometimes for several reasons 😉 I tried to mix and match some that explained my feelings today and I searched trough my wardrobe…

I first put on that wonderful top with the cute gold little wing on the left shoulder that I got from Glam Affair, called “Zory black/cream body”. For the pants I decided to wear part of the Diram “X.Tina -not herself tonight – 2”

I felt that I would need a belt to complete the outfit and I just got on the PACADI Jasha “Mairey Leather Belt” in black. What could fit the golden /cream angel wing better than the golden “Prestige Leather Boots” from BAX.

As all know I am addicted to the Mandala I chose to wear the “Hannya” necklace and the “Buddha” Bangles and nails with the matching rings. Also from Mandala are the “Shaka” earrings that fit perfect to the outfit as all jewelry parts are black with an amazing shine.

The hair for this look is the 3636 “Eden” style that adds a light wild and rebel touch 😉

Tres Beau – Classy with Chic and Style!

Today I have the great pleasure to blog a “new” designer on my blog. Not new in the fashion industry but the first time that I have the honor to show a few of her outfits on my little fashion corner 😉 I am happy to present you some of the latest releases by Kimmera Madison, designer of Tres Beau.

It was hard to decide wich of that great outfits I wanna show but finally I made my decision my favourite 3 😉

The beginner will be “White Linen” a sexy casual, but very stylish outfit…

This outfit is a perfect one for the everyday use. A long coat with a very high slit on the left of the skirt part, up to the hips. A sweet ribbon is placed there that imagines, that it closes the coat and hold it together in this place 🙂 The arms are bare what gives the top a very sexy touch. The neck collar goes very high what gives the outfit a perfect fashion look. The deep front neckline is seamed by the opened upper coat, and a very cute black and white striped shirt covers the chest from to “deep-inside-lookings” 😉 Over all a wonderful spring outfit for a nice warm day.

Up next we have the “New Soho”, a lovely tight pencil dress with amazing attachments and details:

The texture is made of many little cute squares while the boarders are accented with amazing red seams. This out fit also has a great neck collar that gives an awesome chic touch. The top is lovely detailed with all the little buttons and the sweet 2 jacket pocket on the chest. In this first picture we see the first version that is included in the whole outfit, the belt version with a short sweet skirt.

But you also have the version “belt only” without the tiny flexi skirt. For me this outfit has a light vintage touch and I can see myself walking trough the streets of london with that cute dress 😉  The belt buckle is made with love to the detail and also the beautiful hat that is part of the whole outfit too! The feathers on that amazing hat give the whole outfit an amazing fashion touch.

Last but not least we have a very sexy outfit that can be worn in 2 stunning versions…”Exotique”

This really is a dress for the brave fashionistas, very sexy and it shows off a lot of your skin 😉 The top is made of amazing black wrapped cloth only… and it covers only the necessary parts 😉 The great black fur gives the outfit a very classy touch.

The great made gloves with all the folds that are great set with lights and shadows are also part of that great outfit. The skirt looks only wrapped and hold by a beautiful ribbon on the left hip. The hight slit gives an amazing look on a long sexy leg and a nice peak on the great nylon stockings.

The “Exotique” also can be worn as a very sexy and boudoir lingerie also. If you just take of the skirt… you have a  stunning sexy lingerie outfit. The light sheer panties only cover the needed parts and the nylon stockings have an amazing laced seam with floral ornaments.
