Inspired by Tom Ford S/S 2015 – How I put my style together?

I have to admit the idea to make a Tom Ford inspired look came not out of my head. There was a casting a few days ago and they requested a 70s Glam style after the S/S Collection 2015 of Tom Ford.

So I made my homework and sat down with google and watched first the fashion show of that collection and the I asked google for some pictures out of that show.

I tried to figure out what were the main aspects of the whole collection. Besides many details I saw black, black and black, some straps, a lot of sheer materials, shoes with high platform heels. messy hair and smokey eyes paired with nude lips.

So far so good. Since I did not wanna copy any of those stylings to as well bring an aspect of myself to it.

I started with the sheer part. I went through my inventory to find something that does not cover up the whole body and as well would not totally hide under all the mesh clothing.

In the end, the “Brigitte Body Tights” from LeeZu were the choice after trying on several sheer parts of my inventory. I liked it cause the arms and the lower legs are left bare wich gives a lightly sexy touch wich I found as well in most of the Tom Ford show pictures.

Now… find something that really shows the sheer and does not cover it up totally…

Regular pants would just have hidden the sheer body suit. After trying several pants – short, capri, 3/4 – I remembered the pants of GizzA’s “Donatella” outfit. With only one leg and the belt holding the pants in place that was the exact piece that I wanted. To cover the private part I wanted to use something not super solid and I put on the “Romance Black” panties from [Magnolia In], wich sadly does not exist anymore.

The top should be something that catches the straps/wrap character and as well the 70s Glam part. I decided to go with the “TSADE / Body Cuff” from  .Shi. It looked good and as well the way I wanted, but I was missing something still. I tried several bra, s and short top, but either they did not look good or they poked out under the Body Cuff. Since this was going to be a casting styling, there was no way to cheat with poking through prims :p

Finally I found the “Daleth” top, as well made by .Shi. With the golden ornaments and the shining black texture it was exact the right piece for the look.

I saw no jewelry on most of the pictures that I saw and with the golden decorations at the top it looked ok to me.

Messy hair… sounds like an easy task but after trying some of the hair I already had and a lot of demos, I figured I need a short hairstyle as everything else was either poking into the “Body Cuff” or the top *sighs*. I did not saw any short hair on the pictures I looked and nearly started all over with a nother idea, when I saw the “Nyja” hair from eXxEsS. It was not exactly what I was looking for but after trying and looking at it for some time I liked it more and more 🙂

For the finish I just needed some smokey eyes and a light lip gloss wich not put any color on my lips, just a little shine.

News @ LeeZu! & Finesmith

Today LeeZu brought the “Sina Jacket” to her main store. Originally made for the Burlesque Event now the Amazing “Sina Jacket” is available in 7 different colors.  The jacket has a wonderful vintage touch. With the open front you can mix and match it with many other things to create the perfect look for you.

At the back of the jacket you will find a cute pin-up print wich underlines the vintage look of the jacket and with the high collar and the two little flower looking ornaments on the front this jacket is a totally must have for every wardrobe, as it can be worn in so many different stylings. To show this amazing back I included a back view on the picture above. For the shirt I chose the Oui Oui Shir as well from LeeZu.

 Another new release comes from Finesmith. The “Kitaro” set. A beautiful set made of golden, black and fabric looking parts. The set contains basically 2 sets as you have two pairs of earrings, three necklaces, two bracelets, a huge headpiece and a ring.  The set as well provides a gems HUD wich let you change the gem parts of the whole set to different colors. For this post I decided to wear the left bracelet wich complements the earrings version 2, the Necklace number 2 and the awesome right for the right hand.

The absolute cool and sexy leggings are one of my favourites from Maitreya and the shoes I found on the Love is in the Air 2015 event, made by .Shi.

Sunny Autumn with GizzA

Today the weather outside was again sunny and not sa cold as the last days. This inspired me for my todays look.

The beautiful “Anne Marie Dress”, one of the latest releases from GizzA was the perfect base for the look. The ensemble of a wonderful creme toned top and the autumn green skirt is one mesh piece. The small and slim belt as well is part of the mesh piece. The dress is available ni several other colors as well.

The new t-strapped high heels are as well part of the outfit and match wonderful the tone of the top. For the accessories I chose as well to stay with Gizza and put on the “Asia” watch and bracelet. The cute flower necklace as well you will find at GizzA. I took it from the amazing “Papillion” set.

Styling around a sideboard?

Styling around a sideboard or a sideboard as styling accessory?

Yes you read right ;). This time, I wanted to showcase the new “Sophia Sideboard” from Leezu, that wou will find at the Arcade gacha event. The “Sophia Sideboard” is available in 8 different colors and textures  in the closed version like we have it on the pictures. The 2 rares are a dark and white sideboard with open compartments and some clothing hanging out, very cute.

So since I call my blog mainly a fashion blog I usually combine furniture, plants and whatever with some stylings ;).

For today I had a rose tinted sideboard so I wanted to find something matching ;).

As all of you know probably about my pink allergy, I decided to have just a little bit of pink for my look 😉 . Ok.. even maybe more because I wanted to let the sideboard shine and pop out a little more but the first reason sounded better :p .

I am an addicted to the creations of Mila Tatham, so I looked through my SoliDea FoliEs folder until I found the “Caoimhe” dress. This stunning and lovely black  white dress with its pink petals just was what I had in mind. To break the lovely and playfull look, I decided to go heavy on the makeup.

It was kinda fate when Malicia Paython, owner and designer of Silken Moon, showed me one of her releases for the skin fair. It starts tomorrow, the 15th of march, and there you will find the “Go Faster Nun”. The “Go Faster Nun” has different options to wear it. You can wear it as a full with the upperbody connected to  the face in black or you only can wear the facepart. The black mask covers the lower face from the nose down and has a black stripe up between the eyes. To make sure the full versions can be worn with the various avatar enhancements, Silken moon as well offers a Slink applier for the hands and a Lola’s Bra applier for the mesh boobies, if you like to wear them. To add back some sweet and nice I added the “Cherry Blossom” makeup with it’s sweet veins and pink flowers under the left eye.

To add a bit more roughness I wanted to wear the “stp boots” from Death Row Design. I got them longer time ago and never found the right styling to add them. With the black & white striped lower leg it was the perfect addition to the “Caoimhe” dress from SoliDea FoliEs.

To make the look complete I used the “Kat” hair, made by EMO-tions. This special hair style was made for the Kattaca Challenge of  the MVW 2014 for one of the contestants. This wild and extraordianry hairstyle comes with a wonderful painter accessory that you can add if you like. For this post I skipped it as the colors did not match my idea of the black & white with some pink 😉

Final Fantasies with ~*S.E.*~ , Yasum & GizzA

The FF7 Livestream RP Community is opening their doors with a bang. They host a 2 week shopping extravaganza from February 7th to February 21st. All items showcased there are some kind of Final Fantasy inspired as well as steampunk, futuristic and cyber punk orientated.

For my today’s look I chose the “Oculus Enhancements” by Souzou Eien . Thos amazing eye decorations really inspired me to do a styling that goes in a futuristic and steampunk direction.

The “Oculus Enhancements” are very versatile and you can customize nearly each part of it with a menu by touch. You can change the color of every part to make sure it will match your extravagant styling.

To underline the attitude of the “Oculus Enhancements”, I chose to wear some hair, I got longer ago from a gacha. The “Codie” hair by Discord Designs just looked amazing with the “Oculus Enhancements”.

For the jacket I took the “Vintage Leather Jacket” from GizzA. With the open front and the used leather look it was the best addition I could think of for this kinda special look.

Since it was open and I did not wanna put a shirt under it, I added some dirt and mud as well as some scratches to get this kinda apocalyptic look and mood, as if I just survived a fight;) .

The cool Steampunk Leggings” are made by Yasum. They originally were made for a steam punk event, but they just were perfect for my look. The come with a huge HUD wich lets you change colors and fabrics of the pants, the heels as well as from the added belt buckle. What really caught my attention was that the shoes are right connected to them and the heel was made with such love to the detail. All those cool little steam punk gears put together really caught my heart 😉 .

Lately I have kinda a black phase… Sure black is my favourite color even if it is not considered as a color :p, but usually I find a good balance between black outfits and others. But the cold outside, that dark mood of the beginning winter, the first snow… all that really pushes me even more towards black again.

Today I would like to showcase some goodies that I got while i had my RL moving going and could not yet blog about. The amazing dress is from Faster Pussycat. The “Varla” dress was released during the AVENUE Fashion Week this year and it really meets my likings ;). Usually I am not wearing a lot of dresses or gowns, even if I like elegant and classy looks as well ;). But the “Varla” dress made such a great basic for a styling, that I had in mind.  The Top with the amazing flower attachment and the sweet wave shaped skirt added a sweet and cute touch to the basic idea I had so I wanted to give it some strong and weird accessories to give it my personal touch. The boots are heavy plateau boots from Lapointe that you might consider more for a dark grunge or goth styling. But since I love controversy in stylings they made the perfect shoes for today.

The gloves are some super cool ones from N1CO. The “Claw” gloves are opaque gloves that have amazing short claws for the fingernails and some bangles attached to them as well. The “Claw Gloves” come with a HUD so you can change the color of the bracelets, the claws and even the little dots that are placed along the fingers.

The awesome hat is one of the Bliss Couture hats that I got in the past out of the still running closing sale. The amazing necklace is one of the mesh made jewelry collection from EMO-tions. The “Flair Necklace” was the perfect match for the dress and the shoulder parts from ISON, wich I found at one of those gacha fairs, because the collar style did not interfere too much with the outfit it self and still added some more gothic character to it.

A new skin arrived on the grid! Silken Moon released a brand new skin. “Simone” is the perfect skin for all who wish to keep their young look. The skin is very detailed what you will see if you take a demo and look at the body. It is made very realistic looking. Every pixel was placed with love and thoughts. The high lights are incredible awesome set. For example the collar bones are wonderfully accented, to get the imagination of a well shaped and beautiful body. “Simone” comes in 8 new and different skin tones. If you purchase one of the “Simone” skins you get a lot of additional extras with it. Each skin has 2 cleavage options, an eyebrow shaper, Slink hand and feet applier HUDs for all 8 tones and as well an open and a closed lips option with matching prim teeth for the perfect smile 😉 . Besides the natural tinted eyebrows you get some real crazy coloured eyebrows like green or pink and you get one tintable option to make it any color you like. For some it might also be interesting that Malicia Python, mother and creator of “Simone” and owner of Silken Moon, offers a free service for Lola appliers as well.

The makeup which I added on “Simone” as well comes from Silken Moon. The “Autumn Eyes” in gold so repeated the lines of the amazing clothing. The whole set of the “Autumn Eyes” contain wonderful dark and warm colors, wich are perfectly for the actual season. Usually I do not wear any eyebrows anymore but with the cool options of the “Simone” skin I could not resist to add some green eyebrows that went with the outfit so well 😉 . The lipstick is one of the new “Simone Lips” in lavender.

But Malicia did not only release a new skin… she as well made some amazing mesh clothing like the “Paradox” outfit. The “Paradox” vest and pants in the peacock version caught my attention as i never saw such a rich textured outfit in so many different colors that go so well together 😉 Usually I am more the black type, but with the beautiful pattern of the pants and the amazing texture of the vest it was just a ‘must have’ for me. There is way more variations of the “Paradox outfit at Silken Moon and you can combine, mix and match all of them with each other. The dark teal, green texture goes along so well with the ‘cool pale canvas’ version of “Simone and I could not resist even red hair to all the colors and wild makeup combination 😉 .

To add even more color and repeat the orange tone of the hair and the “Paradox” vest, I decided to wear the new “Kaya” set from Lazuri. With the amazing menu that does let you recolor nearly every little part of the set it was easy to set the gems to orange and get some gold and wooden look for the metals.

The poses are from the latest release from Corpus. The “Lounge Series 001” are a full set of amazing sits. But we all know Corpus for unusual and amazing editorial poses and so the new set is not just a bunch of simple and usual sit. You have half laying poses like i used on the first picture and as well some ground sits in it. A real must have for every blogger and photographer!

And there is me the Bird of Paradise, unbelievable but true  in strong and bright colors 😉

Autumn Moods with GizzA & EMO-tions

Autumn is coming and GizzA & EMO-tions are prepared.

The “Turtle Neck Dress” from GizzA is the perfect dress for the actual season. The wonderful print on the woolen dress are held in the typical autumn n colors. The rich brown and cream combinations are perfect to shine on a rainy and grey autumn day. The dress is mesh made and goes wonderful with every move you make. The high turtle neck gives a special look and for sure it leads over to the next season that will be even colder 😉 .

The hair with the cute knitted beanie are one of the new releases from EMO-tions. The new line of hair with caps, beanies and hoods comes with a very special feature. To change the hair color for the fatpacks you get an amazing HUD, that let you change the hair color. No more stuffing your inventory with a whole pack of different colors 😉 .  As well you get different styles. For the “Livia” hairstyle you have 4 different options. A rigged long version, a bob, short hair and the tails that I am wearing.

The boots are as well from GizzA and called “Lisha” boots. The brown boots with the nice accented tip and heels were the perfect addition for the “Turtle Neck Dress”.

The skin is my newest custom Skin from Silken Moon. The “Wicca Lumee Lunette” skin has the popular lumee tone of the Eclipse line from Silken Moon. For the lips I decided to go with one of  the newest lips effect of Silken Moon. The “Gold Desire” is a lipstick overlay that you can add on every lipstick of our own. It adds an amazing golden shine on every color that you like. There will be an eye makeup as well with the same effect. You are able to wear the lips and eyes effect without any lipstick or makeup under it as well. It is not yet released, but I loved the combination of red and gold together with the autumn colors of the dress.

Some Steampunk with LeeZu, EMO-tions & Finesmith

Today I have the great pleasure to show you one of the latest releases of LeeZu. The “Deklannche” top is one of the latest additions to the new LeeZu Mainstore. I was looking for a styling for my LeeZu shift today and I wanted to use the “Deklannche” top in a different way. The top comes in various colors and each one has a HUD to it so you can even change and customize the fabric of the snake skin looking part.

There is no alpha to it since it has so many parts where you can look through. An extra shadow layer as well is part of the top and you can use it if you are not running the SL shadows. The lines and the cream and brown colors brought me on that steam punk idea and I looked though my LeeZu folder what else I could add to make that imagination get real that built up in my head more and more. The “Heather” hot pants are very well mesh made short pants that totally matched the top and did not drag too much focus off the top 😉 I looked a while at it and decided I need to find something top cover my belly since it looked too much girly like instead of what I had in mind. I looked though all my LeeZu tops until I remembered the “Lea Vivendi Pants” those pants are very high waisted and the waist part was just  the part I was looking for. To cover my legs I chose for the “LaLun” tights and for the shoes I decided to go with my absolute favourites from LeeZu, the “Piccadilly Overknee Boots”.

Now the base for the look was created and I had to find some cool accessories who underline and complete my imagination. I remembered the “Time Piece” of Finesmith. The amazing headpiece with all those little clocks hanging down from the branches. The cute butterflies make a wonderful contrast to the brown steam punk look. To make a smooth look for the part that is connected to the head yula Finesmith added some organic looking parts to give the whole head piece a touch of life, that totally makes that amazing contrast to the rest of the outfit and the scenery I chose for snapping.

The hair is made by Mirja Mills, owner and designer of EMO-tions. The “Jade” hair style is made of cool dreadlocks that are bind together to a kinda up-do look even if they have not a super elegant look, but I did not need an elegant up-do for this look so the “Jade” hair was just the perfect addition 😉 .

For the jewelry I wanted just some bracelets that underline the style and not get too much into the focus. I chose the “Wanderer Bracelets” from League. The wooden pearls seemed to be the right choice for me.

The skin still is my “Wicca” skin that Malicia Python, owner and designer of Silken Moon, made for me, but in one of the skin tones she made for her new Eclipse line. The “Lumee” tone is a very light and sophisticated tone and I asked Mal if I could have one version of my “Wicca” skin as well in that amazing pale tone. So if you want to try that amazing, smooth and classy and elegant lumee tone you just ned to try one of the amazing demos of the Eclipse skins at Silken Moon 😉 .

Today I was in a weird mood and just styled away. I started with the “Mesh Tube Dress” with the huge fluffy neck part, because I anyways was sorting my GizzA folder and I fell into my hands. I thought about a concept or an idea for the rest of the look and there was noting in my head at all, so I kept searching through my inventory and tried various things. Then I came across the new hat, that I got from Xenobia Foxclaw. She told me she will have a show in the beginning of June, where all her new hats get released. When I tried the “Jones Black” hat I was sure that this will be part of my look. Now the head gave me some direction in which way it could go. The hat turned the dress into a cool look for me, so I tried to find some leggings and overknee boots. The “Cat tights” from LeeZu were my choice and the light grey color went perfectly to repeat the light color of the dress. Together with the “Piccadilly Overknee Boots” from LeeZu it really turned into some cool and young look. I remembered my “Fame Shades” from epoque. I had them for such a long time and did not use them for so long… that will be the time to change it 😉

Now I would like to drag your attention on the scenery. The house that I used for the background was made by 22769. It is a wonderful and as well very modern house. It has one huge room so enough room to built a wonderful hideout for yourself. The walls are mostly glass with a your structure and shape that gives you the feeling, you own an artistic and unique home. The house has 2 doors, one front door that you reach over a few steps and a backdoor that leads you out on an amazing terrace. The terrace has a wooden ground and some sand parts that remind you on those Zen sand places with those stones. The terrace as well has stairs so you can reach the ground again, since the house it self is built on columns. The grey, black & white colors made a perfect match and background for my today’s look 😉
