New “Swag Casual” pose set at Wicca’s Wardrobe!

Swag Casual

Sometimes I fall into my Rockabilly mood and then I love the boyish jeans & tank top look. A few days ago it was time again, to try my inventory for exactly that look :p.

I wanted to use some of my older stuff and show, that this can be still cool even if it is not all brand new πŸ˜‰

The shirt is one of my first Maitreya shirts and I never found a better tank top for such purposes. The jeans are one of my long time favourites from LeeZu and the shirt that’s wrapped around my waist is that old that Coco now has it as a discounted item*giggles*. The only thing what is really new are the shoes, and that is just because I so fell in love with them.

The new look inspired me to make a new pose set called “Swag Casual”

After using it now for a while I would like to give it a special showcase finally πŸ˜‰ – My first custom-made skin – “Wicca”!

Some of you might remember my make over in August 2012 where Wicca got a total new look (

Wicca2-Malicia Skins

The post was about getting a new look and the desire of a new shape that gives Wicca a bit more character and a bit more of herself.Β The new shape made a huge difference and change in my SL life but still I was no totally satisfied, as I never found a skin that really expressed what I wanted, no skin that I tried, gave Wicca that last ‘nail on the head’ look. While I was searching for another skin to try, Malicia Python, owner and designer of Silken Moon ran into my IM. I was wearing her “Rookie” skin for nearly a year, before that total change of myself and she made me a lot of custom makeups for. She was kinda sad that I took of her “Rookie” skin and she asked me what the reasons were. I told her about, that I looked for something that gives Wicca more character, more of herself. Malicia as well was working on a new concept and new skins that time and so we talked more and more about what I would like for Wicca. She made me look more into what I really wanted, as I could not really find words for what I was looking for. Wicca always had the huge eyes, her big nose and smaller lips as her features. She made me google, wich ethic group this facial features has. I looked trough a lot of pictures, websites and magazines until I found out, that the Scandinavians are the closest to what I wanted for Wicca. I gave Malicia some links of Scandinavian top models that I really liked.

That was the starting shot for my first custom-made skin. Malicia put a lot of her knowledge and creativity into the skin what again changed it a bit. We talked a lot on Skype and Malicia more and more became so much more that a skin designer to me. A friendship started growing that should go further that Second Life… but that was way later πŸ˜‰

The more we talked the more we discovered that we think alike in many things. We got each other known better and better, what as well helped for the custom “Wicca”skin. Malicia asked me a lot about every face detail. The start was the eyes and I was totally thrilled as I got the first prototype of the eye section. I never saw such detailed, filigree and realistic eyes on a skin… I never liked the photo realistic skins for SL and Malicia painted all by herself on Photoshop for it. As well Malicia always puts a lot of character in her skins as well with not making a total symmetric face. The left side always is a little wee bit different from the right and that gives the whole face a life.

Then we talked about the skintone.I did not wanna have the typical yellow touch that you find on many skins and for the Scandinavian look it had to be something special. She gave me a color palette, to choose a basic tone from that she can start working on. For sure I liked something in between… and not one of the pre-made ones and Mal started working this tone over the whole skin. With my new idea of the basic body shape that’s more square sized and has nearly no waist, Malicia came on the idea to give the skin itself a bit more shading of muscles and details. That came right in the direction I thought of, since those smooth, glossy and straight barbie bellies were so not my cup of tea πŸ˜‰ Wicca was never super skinny but as well she had not too much curves as well so I liked the idea of a stronger and more muscle but still female looking character. As well she put a lot of time on the backside with the spine and the shoulders to make them match the look of the front side.

For me the private bits were never super important, as I usually do not show them anyways but even those look so… yummy… *grins* and Wicca got a real cute, sexy round ass πŸ˜‰

The next huge part was the lips. The shape I got from Jesika Contepomi, I tweaked around again and again – I guess as a model you keep doing this as you always try to grow – and the result did not allow me to wear most of the skins on the grid as the lips moved to a very special spot. All the usual skins I tried had destroyed, blurred and weird upper lips. so what to do.. again change my shape… no… I basically liked it how it was. So Malicia kinda painted my lips on my shape and avatar.. she pulled them up and down changed the shape until they were perfect.

Then we came to the eyebrows… I always liked the natural, realistic eyebrows, where you can see the single hairs, way more than the powdered, thin, small ones. Malicia made a dream come true with my new eyebrows and if you take a real close look they are again not the same for the left and right side.

After month of work, in December 2012,I got my very own skin… the “Wicca” skin. For me it was like Christmas, Easter and Birthday to the same time. When Malicia sent me the first “Essential Wicca” folder, I was crying when I tried it on. Not even in my dreams I had thought about this result. Every little detail – the birthmark, the freckles, the lips the eyes… – simply everything was there!

The first time of my whole SL life I felt being Wicca… Wicca how I always desired her to be.

I could not stop looking at her face and her body… I guess I never looked at a naked avatar for so long before I started her dressing up :p .

From that moment on the idea of this post was growing, but I wanted to have some very special pictures for it. That took some time because more people were involved and we had all a different time schedule. I did not wanna rush it at all, because the whole story was way too important for me and that was why it took a while for the whole post to happen πŸ™‚

I wanted to have different photographers that show their view of the new “Wicca”. I was really happy that I was able to have people, I respect, adore and feel a special connection to for this pictures. So I created different looks and styles for each of them.

Pam Astonia made the first face shot of the new Wicca. Malicia wanted a special advertise for her custom skins at the Silken Moon Mainstore and she asked me about a few good photographers for close-ups. I adore Pam‘s work since I started modeling in Sl and I was more than happy as Malicia told me that Pam would be the photographer for the advertise ppicture in her store. The result was the second picture of this post.

After that I got asked from Misha Flanagan, who reopened her agency, if I could be the cover model for the new and first NK Magazine. She asked me if I know a photographer I would love to work with and wanted a “Reborn” theme… perfect as well for my “New Born” post. I suggested LovelyMiwako7399 Menna as the photographer I would like to work with for this special cause. I liked the image so much that I used it as the opener for this post :).

The third picture was made of Lovely again and it shows her view and how she sees Wicca. We had a very nice conversation during we did the shoot and I would like to quote her a little and share part of the conversation πŸ˜‰

[11:04] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: thing with you is
[11:04] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: you are a whole
[11:04] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: Is like trying to grab air and bottle it.
[11:04] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: Air changes
[11:04] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: it moves
[11:04] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: it can be a caress and at the same time it can be violent and angry.
[11:04] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: you are a mixture of air and water.
[11:05] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: you carve your way through problems.
[11:05] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: and you open roads for yourself
[11:05] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: and you can be as sweet as you can be violent and rough.
[11:05] Wicca Merlin: *immediately grabs you and pulls you in a super tight hug
[11:05] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: Is very hard to capture you

Number 4 was made by Leah McCullough. I adore her picture work for a long time and the last months she became a real close friend as well. Leah for me always was someone, that I adored for her pictures. The clean and realistic look of her pictures and her classy style and look always was something I looked up to. I was very happy as Leah started her own HAUTE Magazine, where I am allowed to contribute a few of my weird any crazy ideas πŸ˜‰

Last but not least picture number 5 was made by Natzuka Miliandrovic. I follow Nat‘s flickr stream for a long time and we had the pleasure to work together for different magazines in the past. Nat gives all of her pictures a very special look that became her trademark. I cannot really say what it is, but I would be able to tell fast if a picture is from her or not πŸ™‚ Nat became a very close friend to me too over the last month. We talked a lot on Skype and in SL and we discovered that we think alike in many things.

For the 6th picture I again approached Lovely. Usually I never be on pictures fully naked. Maybe it is my german background… I do not know what it is but nude pics usually for quickly get a bad taste. In germany we have the weird fact, that always if the glory of a prominent person fades, they undress for the Playboy or other magazines. With that in the back of my head I declined many photo shoots, that required to be naked without any lights or covers that hide the private bits, as I always was scared of an unwanted ‘outcome’ when you have to give all power to a photographer and have no power anymore on what the result will be.

But my new skin was made so incredible on the body as well that the desire was growing more and more for a nude picture that shows always and nothing to the same time. I went to Lovely‘s IM and explained her what I would like to try. She knows me very well and she knows exactly about my feeling about nudity for my avatar. I trust Lovely so much that I was sure if she takes the challenge on this idea of mine, it will be a mega amazing picture and I would not regret that I did it πŸ˜‰ . The outcome of our little project you can see on the picture right above πŸ™‚

I would like to thank Leah McCullough, Natzuka Miliandrovic, LovelyMiwako7399 Menna and Pam Astonia for their amazing, stunning and incredible work, that made this post to happen and as well for their friendship!!!

The most huge thank you that I can imagine… and I have no even words for how grateful I am… goes to Malicia Python. She made a huge dream come true with creating me a special custom “Wicca” skin that only was made for me alone. I never even dreamed about to have a skin customized to my avatar, to Wicca and unique on the whole SL grid since it never will be sold to anyone. Malicia and me got a very special friendship, that was growing even more during the development of the “Wicca” skin and it was a huge honor to meet this wonderful Lady on the 24th of December 2012 in RL.

Thank you Malicia, for what you are to me and for the wonderful and true friendship! And for sure for that incredible super amazing skin!!!

Silken Moon – Eclipse! Wicca in Makeup Heaven!!!

Today we come to something very special… Silken Moon released a new, fresh, innovative and extraordinary new skin line with a huge ‘building set’ possibility!!!

In the past we always were running for skins with different makeups for different looks. Nowadays you have the multiple layer option for your avatar that allows you to wear various numbers of tattoo layers on your head. This brought way more possibilities for makeups and uniqueness into SL. But when i go out shopping I still find a lot of complete skins for just one makeup that is painted on the skin itself still, or you have full faces where you maybe wither like the eyes or the lips or maybe even just parts of that whole makeup. Some stores offer eyes and lips separated but still you have just one option of makeup for the eyes or lips… sometimes in different colors but that’s it. But sometimes you even need to customize your look even more with some color highlights or some specials…

I was searching for a new skin by myself not too long ago (post will come soon and I will tell you all about it πŸ˜‰ ). I was wearing the Silken Moon “Rookie” skin for quite a long time and at some point along with my total make over and my new shape I got more and more the desire for a skin that really shows of a lot of my self and the character that Wicca has. With all the talking I had with Malicia Python, owner and genius designer of Silken Moon, I realized that she was right about to make a total new skin line as well.

Silken Moon - Bisque Casual

She told me about her idea of the ‘building set’ for the new Eclipse skin line she was thinking about for a longer time.

Her idea was to make different basic looks and give them different makeup options that you can wear in many different ways.

To describe the best what was her idea I would like to quote her from her own blog…

Malicia Python:

” I developed a skin system grounded on that insight. Basic skins for different looks instead of ready-made faces, plus the makeup to max out the desired look or create your own. I decided to make makeup the way you actually apply it RL, for example, the skin’s lips working as a lipliner, the lipstick on top and maybe some gloss on top on that. Or you apply an eyeshadow foundation, add the eyeliner and then blacken your lashes. This led to a (still growing) range of makeups perfectly complementing each other and offering thousands of unique combinations.”

Silken Moon - Bisque Urban

So Malicia asked me a lot for what for example models would need, or wich types of stylings I would think of. After weeks of very funny evenings, long nights and nice talks she defined 10 different looks: Canvas, Casual, Formal, Urban, Doll, Boho, Steam, Goth, Fab and Burlesque. All of them have different features. The “Canvas” one is totally blank without eyebrows even so you can really customize your face totally. The “Urban” one for example has a shaved eyebrow on the right side and the “Boho” one for example features all the wonderful purple, lilac and violet tones that are typical for that style, while the doll skin comes with a super cute look and all the pink that I like so much :p .

Each look is available in 4 different skin tones. “BrΓ»lΓ©e”(a dark tan), “Bisque” (a fair lively tone and the one I used for this post), “Bousee” (a light tan with a yellow undertone, perfect for warm haircolours) and “Lumee” (a very light complexion)

Each skin comes in 3 uniqueΒ body options all options are available for every skin as a tattoo layer: Cup A, natural breasts, enhanced cleavage, Abs – all with three degrees of shiny leg, freckled body,Β a high shine and golden shine version face and nose freckles, dimples.. and so much more!!!

Silken Moon - Bisque Burlesque

Each look has a set of type matching eye makeup and lipsticks. But you can pick the face you like best and add makeup to your own liking, style or mix and match needs even by crossing the different looks. For example if you like a doll face the most but wanna have more than jus the pink color theme you can easily buy another set of makeup and going crazy with all the mix and matches πŸ˜‰

I remember when Malicia IMed me the first time, after she was ready with the first Eclipse face and all of a sudden I had various folders in my inventory all named “SM Eclipse” – Silken Moon Eclipse… I was like ‘holy hell what is this?!?!?’ and started to look through all the different parts. Then she told me she booked Pam Astonia for the advert and I was thrilled, as as she asked me to be the one on the picture. Then she said “Ok now you just have to make your own look out of all the new skins and makeups” and I nearly fainted. There is over 100 possibilities to do this!!! I started to try and was totally wrapped in trying and mixing and matching… about 3 weeks… ok I am joking but I guess it was about 3 days later, with squared eyes I came up with a look for the picture that you can see on the very top of this post πŸ™‚ Not to mention, how long I was captured in my “SM Eclipse” folder while I was doing the other 4 looks for this post*lol*

But in the end you can see on the 4 looks I did, what different looks and possibilities you have with adding different makeups over each other and changing around with all the lipsticks… And Malicia keeps updating her makeups of the Eclipse line. Right as I was on the burlesque look, another folder with new makeups hit my head… there I found the lovely “goth firewings” in which you can see on the on the picture above at the outsides of my eyes πŸ˜‰

For more information and updates you always can look at the Silken Moon Blog (

But enough of all the words… better go to the Silken Moon Mainstore and see by yourself πŸ˜‰ (

My personal favourites of MVW2013 – National Costume of Miss Italy 2013 by [AD] Creations

MVW - Miss Italy National Full

Miss Virtual World 2013 – Again BoSL showcased an amazing event on December the 15th 2013, with the finale of the MVW 2013 contest. Many countries were represented by amazing ladies and it was really an exciting event. Designers and models worked together for their 2 final looks. One evening gown and one national costume for each lady. Every year when I saw the MVW finale it was an exciting moment to see the results, that designers and models worked on for so many weeks. Last year I took the challenge to make a full catalogue of all the gowns and costumes. The idea must have inspired some bloggers this year and they started to do that for the MVW 2013 designs. I decided for my own not to do the same again and just would like to showcase my personal favourites. First I thought about to do my personal top 12, but then I figured that I like more than 12 and just thought about doing all the ones that really caught my attention in no particular order :)

The italian community was always very strong represented in many MVW challenges… like we had Mimmi Boa 2009 winning the crown, Mavi Beck in 2010 in the top 10,Β Angels Milena in 2011 in the top 12 and Anna Sapphire as winner of the MVW 2012 crown and again Italy was able to place on the winner stairs with a 1st runner-up in 2013!

Now come to one costume where I had a bit of background information from our Miss Italy 2013, Miss Natzuka Miliandrovic. She is originally from Venice in Italy and I really like if models try to represent their own home country. But Nat even went a step further and chose 2 italian designers as well for her 2 gowns. The national costume was made by Aliza Karu, owner and designer of [AD] creations. Since the costume did not have the typical italian colors.. what mostly are considered red, green and white like the flag… I asked Nat what the inspiration was for her national gown and what she said really kinda touched my heart…

Natzuka Miliandrovic:

“It does not make any sense, the one who knows you and does not love you, Italy.”
This was the feeling expressed by “Vincenzo Monti” and that represents the italian Renaissance, the historical period that redefined Italy and its artistic and politic identity in Europe. The inspiration from this national costume by Aliza Karu, comes from the desire and expectation of a modern cultural and artistic rebirth of my country.Β  The costume is a quotations of the incredible work of art of “Antonio Canova”, the venetian sculpture that is one the symbols of the italian Renaissance. The dress flow softly in its precious textures and transparencies and it reminds the voluptuous mediterranean women portrayed by Canova, with a particular referral to his sculpture “La venere italica” of which was said “It flatters the paradise in this valley of tears” and that clearly explain that the meaning of the beauty, in Italy, it doesn’t lie in an empty admiration, but it’s a need for comfort the soul.”

MVW - Miss Italy National Close

The very artistic “Miss Nat” gown is partwise mesh made and as well has flexible prims. The sheer top gives a very sexy touch to the very elegant and artistic rest of the design. The shoulder part with the chain over the right shoulder that holds the little jewelry part is a great contrast to the ruffled arm part on the left side. The ruffles are repeated in the back for the amazing train and the little shining silver decorations you will find again on the wonderful skirt. The incredible head-piece, the wonderful tiara that as well carries the silver and the ruffles is part of the beautiful “Miss Nat” dress as well.

To get your “Miss Nat” gown you just have to visit the [AD] Creations Mainstore, as far as I know, it is now available there πŸ˜‰

LeeZu - Half

One of LeeZu‘s latest releases is a wonderful mesh combination of a dress and boots and as well the popular “Nif Nif” gloves are now available in mesh.

The new “Kaya Gown” is a wonderful mixture of a long and short dress to the same time. For the left leg you have a huge slit that shows off the whole sexy leg and on the right side the skirt goes down to the ankle.

LeeZu - Full

The “Kaya Gown” comes in many different colors and I chose the black version for this post, because I liked the combination of black, red and the golden ornaments so much. The super sexy overknee boots repeat the golden ornaments on the leg and as well at the heels!

LeeZu - Shoes

The inner of the skit brings back the red color that we see under the chest. Even the upper end of the boots carry the same color and little buckle that we saw on the gown under the chest. The “Nif Nif” gloves make a wonderful shape for the hands. The option to have hands and feet made with mesh adds a lot mor possibilities for the creators and as well makes them so much more realistic πŸ™‚ To finish my asian touch idea, I chose the “Warrior” hair from epoque with the 2 crossed sticks behind the bun. The huge necklace from Swallowtail I have for a very long time and by searching for an appropriate one it fell into my hands again πŸ˜‰
