I fully agree with Pablo Picasso and I truly believe that in every artist lives a child’s heart somehow. The imagination of a child is often without any boarders and only if we can manage to keep that a little, we can do all the crazy things that we see in front of our inner eye.

I kept a lot of that I guess and often people call me kiddo in RL if I have crazy ideas :p . For this picture series, which I made for the actual Eclipse Magazine, I used a lot of this illimitable imagination, that overcomes me if I see the creations of Noke Yuitza – owner and genius designer behind E.V.E Studio. I know Noke for quite a long time and I do enjoy his extraordinary craziness a lot. His brain must have similar weird circuits, than mine has, his things instantly click with my mind and built pictures in my head. So when Trouble asked me if I could do a spread for the magazine about E.V.E Studio I was dancing in my chair and I did not have to think about it –  I just said yes in a blink.

First I thought I should put all the pictures in one post, but then I realized they are so different, they would overlay each other and none would get the attention that it should have. So I will post one here and there in between my on going posts and hope you do enjoy the as much as me when I did them 😉

When I was asked to do a spread of E.V.E Studio for the actual issue of the Eclipse Magazine, I was mega happy. I do love the creations from Noke Yuitza – owner and designer of E.V.E Studio – for a long time and he never stops to amaze me with his new designs. His imagination must be never ending huge 😉

This picture was just one out of six I made for the magazine and I will try to show them one by one, as each one has it’s own theme and mood behind it and deserves it’s own spotlight.  This one probably is the most soft and dreamy one and I thought, it would make a good start for the series.

The imagination behind it was a peaceful, dreamy sunset on a surreal planet.

Even Angels enjoy the first Snow?

I know I am usually not the white person, but I do desire the snow so much, now that it gets more and more close to Christmas. There are so many amazing winter designs around at the moment, even if I am not the biggest landscaper I tried to create a little winter scenery for my snow angel 😉

The super sexy over-knee boots I am wearing, are one of the latest releases from [Gos] for the Holiday round of Epiphany. The “Frenchie Knit Boots” are a gacha a 21 items gacha with 3 rares (black, gold and the fatpack HUD) You have the choice between a slim and a block heel for your boots and the darker the colors become, the more you can see the knitted fabric. The boots are available for Maitreya Lara, Belleza Isis & Freya and Slink Hourglass, you just have to play the right button for your size 😉

The amazing hair, that looks like waving in the wind, was made by no.match for the MOM (Mens only Monthly) event. Even if the event is called mens only… I like the hairstyles for females as well 😉

I hope you slowly get into the Holiday mood as well and maybe even Angels enjoy the first Snow 😉

Surreal Dreams

I just realized I had a lot of unpacked gacha items in my inventory and so I was cleaning and sorting that huge folder, when I stumbled over the boxes of the Selenopolis gacha…

When I unpacked all the boxes… the more I saw the more I got excited! How I could I not yet have used those for pictures ?!?! I love all kind of cyber stuffs and with that kind of clothing and body modification, you can do so cool and amazing, surreal pictures.

With that kind of look, the set screams for being futuristic and surrealistic. What else than the amazing designs of E.V.E Studio would fit so amazing to that kind of style? I love the way how Noke Yuitza visions his dream worlds and with his creations it is really easy, to set up a surrealistic environment. I mixed and matched all kind of newer and older items together to create my background.

I guess I do have to unpack more and see what else got hidden in my inventory mess 😉 Maybe I discover some more cool stuff for new pictures!

Fly with the Dragons

After a rough week again I am able to do a blog post. It is funny how bad you desire some SL blogging when RL becomes stressy and rough, while you sometimes desire RL back when blogging is too overloading 😉

I saw those dragons from E.V.E for a while and did not dare to get them, as I wasn’t sure if I can make it on time. But today I finally got the chance 🙂

The “Scatha” dragons come with a huge HUD to chnage colors and even the opacity of the head and the tail. Their eyes first did drive me nuts – they kept moving no matter what I was doing – until I found out, they follow my avatar!

While I was thinking for a cool set I remembered the “Sunny Spells”, as well made by E.V.E Studio. The made such a great background that I decided I do not need more 😉

I want to drag your attention to my hands for a little bit. I do know FORMANAILS for a long time, but did you ever hear of it? Ivi Bings is one of the best skilled artists when it comes to nail art and hand accessories. Today I combined 2 of her amazing designs – the “Simple Rings” and the “Chris Claws”. They go along perfectly and with the HUD you can customize each part to what ever you need. If you search for something special, something different and out of the box for your hands, go take a look at FORMANAILS. She recently changed her store and you now go shopping in a huge shopping bag 😉

The hair as well is something new, made ny no.match for the MOM event. The “No.Suffer” hairstyle is am amazing unisex, short hairstyle. I love the hair textures of the no.match hair a lot and with the update from her A version to her B version, they became even more realistic. With my short hair addiction, the “No.Suffer” just was a must have for me 😉

Tomorrow I will be back with some more Halloween looks – I enjoy the dark and scary season way too much I guess 😉

Again it was crazy time.. I felt it coming already a few days ago*giggles*

When I got the “Nexus Cyber Bikini” it kinda jinxed it 😉 When I put it on, I immediately was thinking how a cyber-girl could go swimming and how that scenery could look in the future.

The “Nexus Cyber Bikini” is part of the Summer Loving hunt and set for 50% off until the 13th of May (http://bepsl.com/summer-loving-hunt/). It comes with that amazing HUD that A&Y always puts to her designs. I do love it a lot as it gives you so many different possibilities on so many parts of the creation and still is clearly labeled.

Since the bikini should be the focus today, I was very minimalistic on the accessories and only picked a few parts to support the futuristic look that I wanted to have.

If you are looking for strong, powerful poses that show action and movement and as well can me snapped from all kind of awesome angles, you should make your way to Poseidon – Gryphon Vendetta, owner and creator of Poseidon, is a god with exactly that. He never stop to amaze me with the new ideas. It is like he would imagine a special scenery, then make a pose set exactly for that and it seems his creativity never comes to an end – thank god! This time I used a lot of the “Flight” sets. The water with all that detailed parts around it gave me a ‘lost in space’ feeling and so the gravity did not really take place anymore in my mind 😉

For the scenery I picked only items from E.V.E Studio. The creations of Noke Yuitza are just simply perfect for any fantasy or futuristic sets. I do love how many different pats can be combined to a whole and what you can do with all that creations together. Some even have inbuilt lights, that bring the ambiance ‘alive’ – if that makes sense.

It really was fun to go crazy again and I hope you can see that through the pictures as well 😉

Pink Therapy!

Pink always was and is a challenge to me. Some of you might remember times, when I tried to act like I had a pink allergy and even had a special skin with pimples and spots. Or if I got pink outfits for shows, I always predicted I had to have my medicine and pills with me to not get those allergy symptoms again. It was fun times and for what ever reason even nowadays people approach me about that allergy 😉

That even more encourages me sometimes, to try something in pink as it can be a very strong color and not just a Barbie girl tone.

First I wanted to do a picture where I sit on an object, because I wanted to showcase the shoes as well as the dress, the hair and the jewelry. I realized, if I just have a simple standing pose, most of the time the shoes get lost in the whole picture as they turn out way to tiny compared to the the rest of the picture. But I did not just want a little close up on the blog either and no hint for my flickr picture.

Everything what I tried to sit on – that did not seem boring and strong enough as well as matching my mood – did not work out. After some time I really got frustrated and had to step away from the whole thing. I logged out and went to the couch, to continue reading my book. After a couple of hours, I took a look at the watch and it was not yet that late. I thought I should give it another try and see if now the muse would be genuine enough to come back and maybe even kiss me again.

First I did throw the idea away to pose sitting on something and reduced the set drastically to some lights and effects from E.V.E Studio. I still was I a certain mood, which I wanted to express via the pictures as well. Something pensive, lightly fragile and with – here I have to credit Ephemeral Skye, since he was so kind to listen to my frustration and had kind words, which helped to go back to the whole project – “a hint of defiance in her as well”. It made me speechless that he tried to see “behind” the picture and saw what I tried to aim for. He is an incredible artist, which I adore personally for his creativity and ideas and if someone with that outrageous skills gives you such kind words… that is really motivating I have to admit and I am really grateful about that.

If you have a very minimal background, poses and angles count even more to have an interesting picture in the end. I love to jump into my Poseidon poses folder when I try to have a strong mood or attitude in mind. I have no idea how Gryphon Vendetta does it, but he ALWAYS hits the nail on the head when he makes his poses. They are so strong and expressive, even if they have an ’emo’ feeling to them. You can play with the angles amazingly with Poseidon poses as there is always more than one view that works. With the right crops you can even use extreme poses or flying poses without having their initial purpose shown.

Before I now go back to my inventory and look, what I could use for my next look, I would like take a closer look at the shoes, even if they are shown in the picture at the beginning. I so often feel that shoes are underestimated and as well way too often taken for granted.

The new “Charlie Platform Sandals” are available at the actual round of Fameshed (like the amazing dress that I am wearing for todays post as well). The perfect spring season heels come as usual for Maitreya, Slink and Belleza feet and have the amazing 3 new HUDs that [Gos] includes for all their new releases. The Boutique HUD for the amazing [Gos] colors we all know,  as well the Metallic and the Blueberry HUD with matching colors for your Blueberry clothing.

Afterall I have to admit… pink isn’t that bad 😉
