MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Germany 2012 by The White Armory & Finesmith

The german national gown for sure was something special for me, as I am german myself. All of the gown are stunning and wonderful but for some strange reason I have a special relation ship to this one. It reminds me a lot on the days of my childhood, where I was read so many fairy tales and novels of the Brothers Grimm. Rapunzel, Dornroeschen, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Cap, Snow White… All of the princesses in those storys must have worn such gowns… I am sure! 😉 I really like the imagination of a german national gown with the relation ship to the Brothers Grimm and I never saw this idea before for such a purpose. The “Germany’s Crowning Jewel” gown, The White Armory/TWA made for Falbala Fairey, our Miss Germany 2012, is a masterpiece of art. I know TWA for some time and I always adored their medieval and roleplay gowns and clothing, so I am very happy that Falbala chose TWA, she could not have made a better choice for her imagination. The dress itself is made of black and many shades of blue. The huge skirt is made after the typical medieval skirt style with the wide hips and all the awesome folds and ruffles. The bodice as well has a black basic but the blue corset is made with excellent and filigree ornamented textures in all shades of blue. The prim parts on wrists and neck as well add a very special touch and show the love for the detail of designer Bee Dumpling. The “Germany’s Crowning Jewel” gown as well contains a crown that can be worn with and without lace in the style of the wrist and neck prims. The jewelry set for sure comes from Finesmith and yula did an incredible job to make the total perfect set for this beautiful gown. The “Dornroeschen” set is really the set for the fairytale princess! It has so many great pieces and you really can see that they were made for the “Germany’s Crowning Jewel” gown. The 2 parts for the head, the delicate hairbun diamonds and the wonderful head-piece with that long parts that end in framed, awesome gemstones. A collar, a pair of earrings and the amazing corset decor of little flowers with a blue center complete the stunning “Dornroeschen” set, that you now can get at the Finesmith Mainstore.

MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Spain 2012 by Mea Culpa & Finesmith

Mea Culpa made as well the national gown for Miss Spain 2012. Shena Neox made the 2nd runner-up for Miss Virtual World 2012 in 2 gowns of Mea Culpa. The beautiful evening gown I already showed in an earlier post, today I would like to lead the focus on the national gown of Miss Spain 2012. This gown really combines fashion, style and tradition. Tatanka Kaligawa showed more than once, that he perfectly can mix ethnic, traditional influences with a modern style of fashion and art. “Valentia del Toro” he named his creation and it really honors its name if you take a closer look on the hip attachments. There he worked some of the typical banderillas that are used for the bullfight. The colors are as well the typical spanish with red and black. The clothing layers carry a very filigree ornamented texture, what again shows Tatanka’s skills for making textures. The huge fan in the back with the red tentacles as well let you think on the typical spanish fans that we all know. The “Valentia del Toro” is now available at the Mea Culpa Mainstore together with the evening gown of Miss Spain 2012.  The jewelry again comes from Finesmith. Shena decided to go with the popular “Noir” set using the earrings and the bracelet. I added the collar and the ring as well. For the “Noir” set you have this great menu, yula includes in many of her jewelry, that let you change color and size for each part of the set. MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Germany 2012 by PurpleMoon & Finesmith

As I said in one of my last posts, PurpleMoon did not have only one gown that made the Top 12 of this year Miss Virtual World Challenge. In complete 4 of Poulet Koenkamp’s gowns made it into the Top 12 this year and the evening gown of Miss Germany 2012 is number 3 on my blog for now… be sure number 4 will follow as well 😉 For me it is a very special gown as Falbala Fairey, who carries the title of Miss Germany 2012 is a very special person to me, she is my little sister and I am feeling very honored to showcase the gown of PurpleMoon that was made for her, as well the awesome jewelry yula Finesmith did for her. For gown and jewelry you can see how close designers are working together to create the MVW dresses. Poulet did this amazing gown, covering the colors of the german flag, which are black, red and gold, in an amazing way. The tight gown accents the well-shaped body perfectly and the extraordinary prims give some awesome highlights. again we can see Poulet’s love for th detail on the “Falbala” gown. The huge shoulder prim on the right shoulder is made with the red outside and a gold inside, as well the upper parts of the gloves have this awesome little feature. Half of the chest part glitters in gold and the other is covered by the delicate red satin texture. I totally love that none symmetric style. Now for the jewelry… yula Finesmith did an extraordinary job this year for all the MVW candidates that stormed her doors… if I look over all the gowns and jewelry I got, it seems she was the most busy designer for jewelry this year 😉 and that for a reason… she just is amazing, a wonderful person to work with and she is great in making dreams come true 😉 The “Falbala” set is an incredible masterpiece of art. The filigree earrings, the delicate necklace that goes down in the back and decorates the deep back neckline of the “Falbala” gown… simply amazing. Then the little orchid shaped flowers at the hips that carry those long and thin lines that go to the upper right and the repeat of this orchid shape for the bracelet… it just caught my heart totally! The “Falbala”gown you will find at the PurpleMoon Mainstore in different colors as well as far as I know Poulet, and the “Falbala” jewelry set you will find at the MVW room at the Finesmith Mainstore.

MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss South Korea 2012 by Angel Dessous

The wonderful evening gown for Miss South Korea 2012 was made by Angel Dessous. “Seoul” is an awesome gown, that stands out in prim work and design. Nando Korobase tailored this awesome dress for Miss Caoimhe Lionheart for this years MVW challenge. The skirt itself is a masterpiece with the long train in the back and the short front. The ruffles and folds are made with such a love for the detail that you only can imagine how long Nando must have sit there and created them. His great skills for the texturing you can see as well if you look more and more up to the bodice. First the waistpart comes in the same basic texture as the skirt and the cleavage and shoulders are covered by delicate, filigree lace. This awesome lace you can find for the leggins as well, and they are wonderful shown because of the high front of the skirt. The chest part is not just a basic black part it looks like 2 overlapping parts – again the prove for Nando’s love for the detail. The little collar carries 2 wonderful ornaments that match the necklace and the belly jewelry part. Together with the fingerless gloves the whole attire is very sophisticated and classy with a fresh and modern touch. If you take a closer look you can see the little jewelry parts at the belly and the necklace. Both are part of the stunning “Seoul” dress as well, so you only have to add a pair of earrings – in my case the white version of the “Hermosa Espina” from Finesmith. The incredible headpiece as well is made by Angel Dessous. No wonder that this incredible beautiful gown made the Top 12 for the MVW 2012 challenge!!!

MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Spain 2012 by Mea Culpa & Finesmith

Mea Culpa did a fantastic job on the Evening gown for Miss Shena Neox, Miss Spain 2012. Black and red are the typical colors we think of, if it comes to Spain. So even for the evening gown Tatanka Kaligawa kept this colors. The basic red color of the dress is broken wonderful by the black fans and applications. The black ornaments are made with such a great eye for the details, where you again can see the incredible skills of Tatanka Kaligawa.  All those different shades of red and even a mixture of different red textures make this gown a piece of art. The jewelry is very filigree and delicate for the earings and necklace, but also the 2 amazing fans for head and hand are part of this amazing set. The fans underline the theme of the dress perfectly. “Hermosa Espina” you can purchase in 2 different colors at the Finesmith Mainstore. Shena Neox made it to the 2nd runner-up in the MVW 2012 contest with the “Devine Decision” gown from Mea Culpa and the “Hermosa Espina” jewelry set from Finesmith.

A flawless, classy and sophisticated look with GizzA ;)

Yesterday my sweet, litte sister Falbala catched me stying the new “Flawless” gown from GizzA as she was doing exactly the same just in another color and she said “Hey why not doing that one together?” – Good idea ;)! “Flawless” honors it s name 🙂 The long, smooth gown is floating to the ground from the chest on. The little details, like the beautiful flowers at the waist and the sides of the chest, again show the love for the detail and perfection of GizzA. The 2 trains on the sides, give an even more sophisticated touch to the whole design. The whole gown is made of one prim and is worked with wonderful fold, shadows and lights… simply perfect.

A perfect match for me to this delicate and soft colors was the “Rusalka” inspiration set from Finesmith and one of the  hair attachments from Vanity Hair.

H.O.R. – House of Rage opens the doors with “Evolution”!!!

I got the great opportunity to show you – right before the upcoming event (points above) – 2 of the new gowns of House of Rage, that are part of the “Evolution” line.

The first one would be “Lorna”. A wonderful, delicate and classy black shaded, high fashion gown.

The awesome detailed made feathers, are a special highlight on this gown. As you can see black has not to be black. All the great lights and shadows, show the ability of texturing and design that you will find in every outfit of the “Evolution” line. The feathers are dreamy flexible and you will turn heads if you walk this gown over the red carpet or any other event you choose to wear it 🙂

A perfect addition for this stunning evening gown were the new “Core” jewelry set from Finesmith Design the fresh and sharp edges and the pearls made a perfect finish for me 🙂

My second gown for today would be “Vila”…

“Vila” goes more in a sexy and couture direction, but even then you will see the high quality  what this gown is made with. “Vila” is a mixture of so many different fabrics, that you have to take more then one look to discover all the amazing details. The corset is an opaque, tight black basic. If you zoom closer, you can see the amazing ornaments that decorate even the corset.

The bodice is made of beautiful lace and the sheer character adds a very sexy and young, modern touch. The skirt, as well a sheer fabric glimmers and sparkles in an awesome way. As additional decoration you have a wonderful lace prim for the right shoulder and the head also. For this amazing dress I chose as well one of the latest releases from Finesmith Design, called “Optimism”. Yula Finesmith released 7 pairs of earrings a few days ago and yesterday the matching necklaces… so run and see them all at the Mainstore 😉

Wonderful dark news by Ezura!!!

Right in time for Halloween,  Ezura released a stunning dark goth gown, the “Marceline”gown. Sure, not only to use for Halloween but it would fit for that as well perfectly 😉

The gown has a very classy and elegant touch. The mixture of the floating and shining skirt goes perfectly to the ornamented fabric of the top. The huge neckcollar has wonderful tentacles that fawn awesome over the cleavage. What caught my eyes are the 2 cool skulls that make the shoulder parts. round the hips we have some cute ruffles that make a perfect contrast to the skills and tentacles and add a lightly playful touch. The gown has various possibilities to be worn for the skirt part.

Version number one, has a long skirt and this incredible tentacles at the bottom. The skirt reaches the floor and with the tentacles it nearly looks as you hover over the floor a bit and gives a little mystical touch.

For sure a mermaid skirt version cannot miss for this elegant gown.  Just take the tentacles off and you have a very sophisticated skirt that will be totally perfect for every kind of sophisticated event 🙂 You even could remove the huge neckcollar and only wear the top tentacles, but I am so in love with it so I just could not take it off :p

If you like it even more classy you can wear the long skirt that starts from the hips and goes more and more wide till it reaches the bottom. The gloves are as well part of the outfit. If you wanna keep it very simple you just take off all skirt prims and wear the skirt layer only. The gown can be purchased in black like you see it in the post or even in red and purple.

The incredible beautiful horns can be part of your dark queen outfit as well. Named like the dress the “Marceline” horns match awesome to the dress and adda again some more darkness and goth. Little skulls underline the theme and they are made with such love for the detail, so we again can say how much time and love Ezura puts in her creations.

What could match better to such an amazing gown as the “Noir” jewelry set from Finesmith Design. The shape of the earrings and the collar goes perfect with the tentacles of the “Marceleine gown!
