The powerful engine roars to life and I smile. Do not judge me by my appearance. I may look like a Victorian lady, but deep down, I am a wild creature ready to explore this new steam powered, mechanized world…

Wearing my brother’s clothing, I leave my heavy dresses and tight corsets behind. My parents want to marry me off to some titled aristocrat, but that existence would suffocate me.

I give my mean machine gas and shoot out of the driveway; gravel spraying wildly behind me. A laugh of pure joy and the exhilaration of freedom rips through my body. Yes, this is the life!

What does a girl need a man for when she has a motorcycle vibrating between her legs…

The Parthena Top by Wicca’s Originals challenges the idea that Steampunk styles needs to be so modest. Finally I can start my couple post series for the Engine Room! Usually I am only doing single pictures, the more I enjoy if I can talk my partner Redclaw into redressing and let me do some pictures with him. He rarely redresses or wants to appear on my pictures, but thanks to Akira… he has to*grins*

Today we are showcasing some of the designs of the Engine Room, an event I personally love to go to, as it does highlight some niece corners of Second Life roleplay and designs. I always was more on the fancy side of fashion and so this event is perfect for me.

I would start our couple series with designs from Hotdog, kosmii, bonbon, SEKA, Requisition & Varonis. As you can see we are wearing a partner look jacket, which was made by Hotdog. The waistcoat looking design has dangerous, long spikes at the shoulders, which give them an amazing rough touch. We both decided to defend us with the super detailed pistol from Requisition, while our taste for the eye patch was different. Red goes with an am amazing piece from Seka, while I decided to use the one from kosmii.

I hope you will enjoy our little couple series for the Engine Room as much as we did with doing the pictures for the coming mini series 😉

Times are stressful, but don’t lose your head! But just in case you do, consider this Elmstone Head by Wicca’s Originals as a replacement. The foundation of the Elmstone Head is a diving helmet, which is bolted to the torso instead of a diving suit. Within, it uses an air-tight seal to maintain your brain in a protective casing. Tubes are connected to air passageways to regulate your breath. The left half of the head if a cosmetic shell to give a more human appearance, whereas the right half of the head is all functional. A phonograph part emit your voice and can pick up sounds, a light sensor over the right eye is able to bring in images. An adjustment knob allows increasing or decreasing the light sensitivity for bright or dark environments. Further up, on the brow, switches and and a dial is present to control rest mode or to turn on low-power mode. In the event of a power-down, the wearer can be jump-started using the bolt on the left of the head plate. May take some getting used to.
