A modern Snow White? A Second Life Fairytale

With all the remakes of old fairytales like Snow White and the Huntsman or Haensel  & Gretel – Witchhunters, I came across the idea of a modern snowwhite.. maybe even a  fashionista snowwhite*giggles*

The idea came with an outfit that I got from !dM – deviousMind. The “Pure Syn” out of the newest Fetish Couture Collection, The outfit can be purchased in different colors and as well in a ‘Duality Pack’ with 2 colors in it. The basic outfit is a supoer sexy mini dress with a latex texture that shows the texture skills from Chandra Meehan, genius designer behind !dM. Besides the amazing mini dress you have all this amazing pearls and apples, the wonderful ruffles for the shoulders, the glamurous train, the hair piece and on top the awesome snake and the snketatoo for the legs are as well part of the outfit. With all this parts and variations you really can make a few different looking outfits of  the “Pure Syn” outfit.

For the picture I decided to wear the whiote version and Sazzy Nirpaw wears the red one. The handsome man, that Saz is offering her sweet apple is our well known Mr UK 2013, George McCartney.

I am very grateful that Saz and George said yes, when I asked them if they would join me for that shoot as it is way easier and way more nice to built up a scenery with more than one person somtimes.

For the location I came across the idea of a dark forrest, mystical and not too many colors with a crypta and some matching sculptures. Saz is an amazing builder and inbetween seconds she rezzed a wonderful snowy dark forrest and I just aaded the crypta and the sculptures.

Even if it is an abstract imagination I couldnot get rid of the idea of a modern fashionista Snow White and George made an awesome hansome to safe the girls :p .

New Collection at Devious Minds!

A few days ago Persia Bravin stormed my inventory asking me if I would have seen the latest releases of Devious Mind and I was like .. “Oh uhm.. aehm .. no…” and was trying hard to remember that brand. I know, that I heard it before but I could not really recall what it was. Persia kept talking, while I still was thinking,  she told me I so must see that and I need to meet the owner and in the end I was so curious that I TPed to the LM, Persia gave me and I just fainted. I landed at the !dm sim… sure… !dm was Devious Mind! For sure I know this brand and I as well have tons of her amazing outfits! *facepalms*

Persia kept saying me to contact the owner since she would be as crazy as I am :p . So I tried to reach Chandra Meehan, owner and designer of Devious Mind. She was offline but not too long after I left her a message she came back and we talked a while. She is that kind of persons I love from the beginning… crazy, wild, smartass, just like I use to be*grins*

We were talking about various things, until she asked me what my favourite colors would be. I told her that I basically like most of the colors and just have a pink allergy 😉 . Being a smartass, just imagine what she send me^^. But more about that soon. For today I have the new “Chained Lust ” outfit from Devious Mind. I am sure this outfit has many different facets with the latex catsuit and the amazing mesh chains, but I wanted to make something ‘Wicca like’. So I thought about, what I could do and as if it was fate, I had the the movie “The Crow” on my second monitor, as I started styling. Since I anyways liked the idea of Fetish Couture, I loved the pearl colored catsuit that goes down over feet and hands and only has that deep neckline in the front. You can choose between 3 different colors of the catsuit , as all 3 are included in the pack. The chains come in different sizes, so that you can make sure that the mesh fits your shape. I did not add much to the outfit itself, only a mask, wings and shoes and one of the jewelry sets of my brother Dahriel. The “Angelical Black” set comes with collar, crown, arm parts, earrings and a ring. The “Chain Lust” outfit was the perfect basic for my dark fantasys and if you now became curious what else you can find at Devious Mind, just take the taxi over to the Mainstore (TAXI: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/deviousMind/98/26/30). The sim as well is worth a visit! From my photographer side I just can tell you it is a paradise for making pictures as well!!!

Wicca’s Wardrobe: Paranoid

Lately I was talking to Natzuka Milandrovic, a very close friend of mine and we came across the new ‘trend’ of combining fetish elements to high fashion, couture and avantgarde. If I remember back, when I started modeling in SL it was not even to think about and nowadays more and more designer and agencies try to do that. After a while she told me about a casting, that as well requested stylings with fetish parts and she showed me the outfit she made by herself for this casting. I totally fell in love with and after I told her that she was so kind and gave it to me with some poses that are made for this cool outfit.

As I saw the name of the outfit and the poses I had to grin and immediately I had the song “Paranoid” from Back Sabbath (linked above) stuck in my mind. So as I was styling the outfit, I listened to it most of the time and maybe that’s why the styling became a bit… crazy.

The outfit is named “Paranoid” and so is the pose set as well 😉 Nat founded a brand for all her different creations called Flighty Pixels. For this brand she did not set herself any boarders so I definately will keep my eyes on what she will create 😉

The “Paranoid” outfit contains a corset, the panty stripe some lace at the chest and the huge cool head-piece. I only added soe socks, the “Gothic Platforms” from L&B and the “Elle” hair from Zibska. The amazing arm tattoos are made by Talyia Tarber for her new brand The Makeup Artist. The amazing spades that cover the nipples, the front chest and the left eye are part of the “Spades” makeup and tattoo layers from Nuuna’s.

Breathtaking News & Timeless Favourites by Mea Culpa & PosESioN!!! Starring Dahriel & Wicca

Lately my sweet little brother Dahriel, owner and creator of PosESioN, came across that we both liked a lot what the other did and we talked about to do some pics together. I adore his picture skills for a very long time and I was very happy, when he told me he would love to do some weird stylings and art with me together. All of  sudden he IMed me if I could style anything with Mea Culpa and purple, as he wanted to wear the “Illusory Wisdome” outfit from Mea Culpa. I was thinking on one of my long time favourites of Mea Culpa, the “Hopeless Illusion”. It was one of the very first creations of Tatanka Kaligawa, owner and designer of Mea Culpa. For the poses we used some of the latest releases of PosESioN. As Dahriel and me got dressed he rezzed one of his new skyboxes for the picture and I got huge eyes… The whole skybox was in purple and black and had a look like it could have been a location of a Tim Burton movie! Dahriel and me discovered that we both like Tim Burton a lot – another thing we share as so many others, that we discovered before and I felt even more how much I love my little brother 😉

For the next picture we decided to go with one of the latest releases from Mea Culpa, the “X-treme Mirrors”.

The “X-treme Mirrors” is part of the X-treme line of Mea Culpa, a special line, that combines fetish elements with high fashion designs. Again Dahriel rezzed one of his various skyboxes and again it was perfect for the whole scenery… he has the eye for the special detail. More and more I enjoyed our evening that we had together… all the stylings, like for the “X-treme Mirror” I had an idea and he came up with another one, or the other waxy round and we started to mix and match our ideas according to the other… I felt like in heaven. The wonderful mirrors on the “X-treme Mirrors”brought us to the idea to make the picture like there would be a mirror in the middle of the picture. Dahriel mirrored the pose he had for himself and the room as well and with all the amazing details of the “X-treme Mirrors”, the glasses, the wonderful headpiece and the amazing textures the whole picture became art for me.

Dahriel got he wonderful “El Matador” outfit from Mea Culpa and I had immediately the idea, the “Oppressive Prophecy” would make a perfect match for another couple shot with Dahriel. The gold decorations of both outfits are just like made for ech other. Both outfits have a black basic and with all the amazing prims of the “Oppressive Prophecy” I go the idea of if a fashion matador and his fashion victim. Dahriel loved the idea and started immediately to create the perfect pose. As we thought about a location we agreed because of all the black and gold tines we wanted to have sand and rocks with kinda an arena style for the amazing “Matador” pose from PosESioN.

I would like to thank my little brother Dahriel for an amazing afternoon and evening. For a long time I felt the first time that there is a soul that is somehow connected to mine with all the weird stylings and picture ideas. Our minds are so close that sometimes it scares me 😉 , but I could not think of a better little brother than Dahriel! This was a wonderful and amazing time with such incredible pictures and I really hope that this was just a start and we can do many more like this little brother!!!

Are you ready for “The Abyss”?

“The Abyss” – One of Mea Culpa‘s latest releases. Tatanka Kaligawa is working on his X-treme line for Mea Culpa. The idea behind the X-treme line is to bring the fetish style up to a high couture level. Britney Spear, Christina Aguilera and Madonna already discovered the success of combining this 2 styles. Both showed that latex and vinyl can be very sexy if you know how to arrange the outfit. More and more the music industry uses high fashion and couture to make their concerts to huge events with outfits, light and performances. They raised the bar for stage outfits a lot and many try to follow that trend 🙂

For many fetish only has a naughty touch and all just think about the backyard dominas… but fetish itself can be so much more than that. Tatanka dares to break the old stereotypes and shows that he can bring the fetish couture to a higher level. With delicate textures and ideas for designs he shows that you can do so much more that just ‘dungeon’ outfits. He makes it happen that fetish components on his creations make them ready for the huge runways. Tatanka exactly knows the very thin border that he walks perfectly on with for example “The Abyss” outfit. The basic texture layers are again textured with amazing fabrics that have a sexy touch with all the well set holes 😉 the prim attachments complete the straight and couture look in an amazing way. The waist attachment with the long lines hanging down, the cool glasses and the crossed lines at the front neck, that remind on a corset back are wonderful details that show the skills and abilities of Tatanka for creating unique and high fashion designs. What caught my attention a lot was the huge head-piece. The combination of horns, chains and fabrics add a light goth touch as well but with a special couture taste.

For me it has a very special meaning, as I never was a mainstream girl. I always looked left and right of the mainstream and liked the unusual and extraordinary. As I started modeling, I was told as long as I always try to swim against the mainstream as a little fashion rebel, it will bring me nowhere. For a long time I kinda felt like the ugly duck beside all the swans in the fashion world. But it seemed never so bad, that I really wanted to change it. How could I change my self, what I think and what I feel, without loosing myself? So I decided to stick to myself and grow inside of what I felt, thought and liked. Not everyone liked what I did, but more and more it became a trademark of my self to be different, to be the little ‘freak’. The sentence “Hell you always have to twist outfits to make them part of yourself” or ” It is nice to see a different view of my designs” more and more became compliments instead or complaints for me. On that long way of developing myself, my style and to realize my own visions of fashion and style I met a few people who were close to my ideas and my mind. One of the is LovelyMiwako7399 Menna (http://eclecticmiwa.wordpress.com/2013/01/20/fetish-couture-twins/). She is wild, crazy, loud, cute, sweet, creative, young, fresh, provocative and one of the best friends you can have. Lovely became a very close friend for me and we share a lot, not only a loose friendship… we share ideas, minds, tastes and ideals. There is not many in a virtual environment like SL you feel so close to and trust so much.  She always was a rebel with her ideas, styles and creations as well and so it was a great honor to do this picture together with her as the ‘Fetish Couture Twins’, she as well did the picture for this post.

Dare to get out of dusted stereotypes! Dare to stay true to yourself! Dare to be different!

For the actual Maniera Magazine December 2012 (http://manierasl.mymaniera.com/) I had the great honor to be featured in a wonderful fashion spread of Lovely Miwako. She made a special corset themed article about how different corsets can look.

We all got sent different corsets from Etchaflesh and Voluptia and Lovely asked us to style them in a vintage non typical lingerie manner. As well she wanted us all to choose one tattoo that we wear through the whole spread.

For the first picture Lovely placed me on the floor besides SterlingZen. The corset I was wearing for this picture came from Voluptia and everyone that knows me… I am a corset addicted even in RL, so to style the corset in a non lingerie way for me was like if you tell me I just won in a lottery *grins*

I love a lot the different vontage stylings from the 50’s to the 80’s ( it still scares me that 80’s are called vintage now too^^) and so I was going for my favourite urban look as well with the heavy boots and the tattoos and some fishnet stockings and torned stockings. The huge glasses and the pinup hair added the perfect finish for the look in my view.

On this picture, I had the great pleaure to be with Katherine Comet a wonderful and classy Lady that shines at my side with a wonderful corset styling that reminded me a lot on the old racing pinups I saw so many times on that collectable retro/vintage, metal signs from coke or even others… not sure how they are called in english, mostly you find them in bars 🙂

For the second look I was given the corset and the sneaker boots from Etchaflech. I added the neck corset as well from Etchaflesh, pantys and garterbelt from Maitreya.

Lovely did an amazing job in putting different ladies, diffrent looks and attitudes together to show a wide range of what corsets can do… weither of elgant, grunge, rocker, lingerie, vintage or burlesque… as different as we ladies are as different corsets can be used for anykind of styling, that you can think of 🙂
