MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Thailand 2012 by Son!a

Nearly a full MVW 2012 design including hair and the wonderful jewelry shoulder piece, Miss Thailand 2012 got from Son!a. Sonia made a wonderful combination of dress, jewelry and as well the hair. The wonderful “Thailand Dress” of Miss DiamondGem Destiny is made in a very elegant way with really delicate fabrics. For my post I chose the golden version you can find some more colors at the Son!a Mainstore as well. The skirt parts left and right are made wonderful flexible, the basic fabric looks kinda satin and the wonderful laces ornaments at the bottom repeat the texture that was as well used for the skirt layer. The small top gives room for a lot of skin at the belly and the shoulders are amazingly covered by this huge jewelry part that goes down from the neck over both shoulders. The armlet and the bracelet are as well part of the  “Thailand Dress”. The beautiful hair with jewelry part also, unbelievable but true, is part of the whole outfit too, that’s why I said in the beginning it was nearly a ready-made full outfit for Miss Thailand 2012 😉 I really only added the earrings, the hairbase, skin, nails and shoes. MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Belgium 2012 by Champagne & Finesmith

The wonderful, playful and still elegant national costume for Miss Belgium 2012 was made by Champagne! Sparkling Fashion. The sweet accent this outfit has combining with the cute flowers with the red and yellow colors gives the whole out fit immediately a positive attitude. The corset is made with such nice, filigree details, the texture with the little ornaments… just amazing. The flower decoration at the cheat part goes so wonderful with the jewelry and the short skit underlines the cute look perfectly. “Belgium Ducasse” was for one of the most cute outfits for this year MVW 🙂 The “Belgium Ducasse” dress you will find at the Champagne! yula Finesmith did the beautiful jewelry for this sweet dress and again you can see how close designers work together, to create this amazing Miss Virtual World 2012 looks. The flower theme of the “Belgium Ducasse” is so very well caught with the “Touched by the Sun” set from Finesmith. All those little yellow & red flowers that are connected with this amazing long thin and filigree lines of noble metals… stunning! The umbrella is part of that incredible set and as well the collar, the headpiece and the earrings. MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Thailand 2012 by Elan

The wonderful “Miss Virtual World” gown by Elan was worn by Miss Thailand 2012, Miss DiamondGem Destiny. Alatiel Malies shows that she is an experienced SL designer for quite some time with that amazing gown. One thing I admired Alatiel Malies always for, she is the perfect example that simplicity can be so stylish and fashionable. The “Miss Virtual World” gown again shows that you do not need a hell lot of prims and a million different textures to make an elegant and interesting gown. The skirt is open in the front and with that it has a very sexy touch added to the elegant style. If you take a second view you will see the beautiful details and textures Alatiel added on this gown, the little flowers at the hips, the wonderful prim that decorates the deep neckline in the front, simply stunning. Prism – Free Gift, News and Sneakpreview!!!

Today I have great news of Prism again, and I do not know where to start with :). There are so many exciting news… but let me start with the gift at Mimi’s Choice... Unbelievable but true… “Laura” in the unique color ‘old rose’ is the actual gift at Mimi’s Choice!!! (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Deep%20House%20Island/102/86/22)

This amazing outfit comes as ready to wear outfits with the skirt, the stockings and pullover. The cute ruffles are a total highlight for this outfit. And again if you take a closer look at the textures… absolute high-class like we know it from Journey McLaglen 🙂

Now we come to some very secret news… I heard Journey is working on a new outfit… and  was observing her tailoring laboratory for a few days… and I was successful in the end :p

The new object of desire is called “Keira” and it comes in many different colors! I was able to ‘borrow’ a few to make short snaps before I had to get them back without being caught… 🙂

The amazing version with the wonderful white birds on the blue ground is called “Migration”. The outfit comes in many different possibilities to wear for all versions. You can have black gloves and the colored arm parts and the matching colored stockings with this awesome upper end parts.

Or you choose the tights version of the stockings. You just skip the upper legs prim parts and wear the long black leggins that are as well part of every package!

Third possibility would be, that you wear the black armparts instead of the colored ones :), like I chose for the “Fall Flowers” As you can see you can do different types of looks with all that great possibilities! If I recall correctly, “Keira” will be released this weekend and all the colors you saw, plus 2 more will be available at the Prism Mainstore (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Bal%20Harbour/34/162/22).

Now we come to the most exciting part… I only say so much… run and join the Prism inworld group! “One in a Million Contest”: Mea Culpa – “Shanghai Noon” could grab the win!!!

As well designed for the “One in a million” contest, I would like to showcase the second design Tatanka Kaligawa made for this challenge.

This gown comes with all parts you can see. The hair and shows are part of the outfit and even the amazing jewelry. What I was not able to show on the pics, the gemstones of the jewelry have a very tricky and great texture. It is glittering and glimmering kinda like an animated texture! I rarely saw such before and it really caught my attention. The same texture is repeated on the little balls that are attached on the shoulders. Such a shame that you cannot catch that in a picture but if you make your way to the Mea Culpa Mainstore and get this fabulous gown you can see it 😉 as well you can IM me and I will come to the store and show you :). The name already tells some about the idea that was behind that gown – it has a huge asia touch ;). The wonderful fan with the spikes on the right hip and the wonderful flowers that remind on orchids… simply amazing!

The gown can be worn in 3 different versions. I tried to catch all possibilities with keeping one pose to show you what the changes are. Above you can see the first version. For this one you just wear the skirt layer and a special provided leggings under it.

Second possibility would be the so-called mermaid version. For that you just add the prims on the bottom of the skirt combined with the stomach attached prim and the skirt layer.

The last option would be a pants version. For that one you will find an extra made pants layer in your folder that is lightly different to the leggings for the skirt. The incredible hip attachment with the long trains for left and right go well with all versions of them but for sure you can experiment with it as you please. The wonderful shoes are as well part of that outfit as I said and they come with the Mea Culpa HUD to match your skintone perfectly. This outfit really is something special with all the possibilities to wear and all the additions you will get if you purchase that outfit!

Shoe Mania at Mea Culpa – Part III

A few ago Tatanka Kaligawa again created new objects of desire for us ladies… Shoes!!!

The “Bullet” shoes are the first of 8 new pairs of shoes out of Mea Culpas latest shoe release. The delicate fabric decorated with this amazing rings are perfect to wear for any style you want. The heels are not just simple heels, again we can see the love for details, wich Tatanka always adds on his creations. As always you can change the nail color to every color you can think of with the great HUD that always is included if you buy Mea Culpa shoes.

“Burlesque” is one of the 2 pairs that shoes no toes and is closed in the front. Never the less you have a possibility to use the great HUD to change the color of the little filigree flowers on the outside of the shoes.

The 3rd pair of shoes is called “Diabolo”. ‘The very expensive fabric really caught my eye on that one. Again we have kinda peep toes on this one and the nails color again can be changed with the HUD. The sweet lines with the bow in the front as well make a nice decoration 🙂 and the top part honors the shoes name, looking lightly diabolic 😉

The “Empire” design for me has a very playful touch with the neat ruffles at the top and the bottom part of the shoes. The wooden sole and the metal rings make a great addition and give this pair or shoes a very special touch.

Our next object of desire is called “Poison”. Very special for me on this creation is the light glow that goes over the shoes. You nearly get the imagination of a wonderful crystal decoration. The sole and heel are made of a metallic looking fabric. With all this amazing details and the special fabric, they are a little piece of art.

“Quasar” is one of my personal favourites with the cool fabric that looks kinda vinyl  and the huge spikes. A really cool pair of shoes that really should not miss in a  fashionistas shoe cupboard 😉 it as well comes with the great HUD that Mea Culpa always provides for their shoes.

The “Speed” design all the steel and chains really make this style interesting. A few color parts that you can change in color with the HUD make it possible to match this pair of shoes to every kind of outfit.

Last but not least I have my total personal favourite pair of shoes out of the 3rd Mea Culpa Shoe Mania… “Trex” have a real interesting fabric the reminds me of reptile skin. The ankle parts and the big spike in the back totally catched my eyes and I fell in love with that pair of shoes. Again of you take a closer look at the heals you can see the love for the detail that Mea Culpa shows off in almost all creations. The 3 steel lines make an awesome match to the whole style.

Wicca’s Wardobe: Weird moments in black and white – the second ;)

Ok I admit I stuck a while with my weird moments about stylings, but I have to admit it feels very nice to be allowed to do what you want 😉 The basic of this styling was one of the last “Claim the Fame” shows. The theme was Fantasy Avantgarde. Mostly I try to match the shows themes with my stylings and so this look came together.

The basic makes one of the Black & White skins, made by Nuuna Nitely, owner and designer of Nuuna’s Skins. The for sure with my addiction to Finesmith Designs, jewelry from yula Finesmith had to be part. The skirt part is from the “Saleena Inspiration” set. To cover up the private parts I chose to wear the “Maya” nipple shields and the “O collection 011” bracelets, as well from Finesmith. If you look closer you can see that I used the “Valeria Inspiration” earrings as well for the ears and I changed them in size and made me great wings out of them as well 🙂 The pants, the forehead pice and the feet parts I took from Eshi Otawara‘s “Flying Home” outfit. For the top I remembered one of my old-time favourites… the “Wilted Wednesday Vest” made by Kyoot. For the hair I chose one of the great hairstyles of 3636 Designs.

And now I will hide in the depth of my inventory again and see what I can come up next with 😉

One of the latest news by Finesmith Designs… A wonderful jewelry set for the sunny summer time 🙂 The whole set is again a little piece of art and yula Finesmith again showed, like always, how creative and innovative she is. All her designs are made with love and a great eye for the detail. In every of her pieces you can see the hours and hours of work she puts in to create something new for the SL fashion addicted. Mea Culpa – Hot Flamenco Nights? ;)

Latest news from Mea Culpa 🙂 I am happy to be allowed to show you the last 2 creations of Tatanka Kaligawa, designer and owner of Mea Culpa. The first one is called “Baile Flamenco” and it really is what it is called. A wonderful red gown with a long train in the back, awesome ruffle parts and decorated with beautiful flowers.

If you take a closer look you can see how much Tatanka cares about details and the eye for the extravagant styles. The ruffles are wonderful made with shadows and lights and the flowers add an amazing “Flamenco Feeling” 😉 The head decoration as well made of flowers is part of the whole outfit.

The second outfit carries the wonderful name “Night Spell” and it is a very elegant and extravagant gown. Petals and ranks are all over the black beauty. The skirt and the hat are mainly opaque while the top has a wonderful laced part, that I would like to show a little closer.

The delicate lace top shows again the amazing skills of Tatanka Kaligawa if it comes to ideas and texturing 🙂 round the waist additional to the great flexible prims you have kinda golden belt, very filigree and again in shape of many little petals. The wonderful veil adds again some elegance 🙂 As well Mea Culpa released some new shows but this will be one of my next posts 😉
