“Christmas time is buzzing in my Skull…”

Who says that freaks do not like Christmas… maybe no the typical, ribbon, red/green/white/gold one with candy sticks all over… but still.. Christmas :p What brought me to that idea for this post was the “Cozy Winter Collection”, which DRD released at FaMESHed and an older group gift – as well made by DRD – the awesome “DIY Christmas Tree” . I found it hilarious, when I saw that blank tree, a huge black sack with all the fir needles in it and three bottles of glue beside it – I simply love Jaimy’s sense of humor. With some parts of the “The Last Christmas Shop” as decoration and some more past group gifts, I tried to decorate my alternative Christmas room šŸ™‚

Certainly I had to have the matching look to my scenery and I could not pass the cool glasses with that scary eyes by Madame Noir… such a cool accessory, that really creates a different vibe *grins* With my love for heavy boots I as well could not leave the “Ravage Boots” on the shelf at L’Emporio&PL. They are so hell detailed! If you take a closer look you can see every stud, every lace, and the cute hole in the sole – made me think of my New Rocks in real love and I love them to death šŸ™‚ What as well caught my eyes were the awesome “Damned Claws” from L’Emporio&PL. They are made for hand and feet, but since the shoes cover my feet this time, I am wearing only the nail set. When I put on the HUD I was really positively surprised… beside different colors you as well can hide every single claw separate.

I have a few more scary Christmas ideas in mind and I am looking forward how they will turn out šŸ˜‰ For now… Happy Holidays everyone!

Virtual Insanity?

When you think about your life as a path, it never seems to be a straight and smooth one. You have junctions, where you have to decide which way to go. You will face bumpy and rocky sections. You might even dead-end streets, which first looked completely right and all of a sudden you realize it won’t let you go further than a certain point. You might find ways, that feel as they would go to nowhere – some really do some just take a long walk until you can see where they lead to. Some might request major changes and decisions and some just need next to nothing to decide the change.

I am at one of those junctions, maybe even one of the dead-end ones in RL and SL. While it is a little more complicated in RL, in SL I just need to get my mind straight and think about what I really want for my free time activity called Second Life. I – and I only can talk about myself and my personal feelings – do not need a Second Life that dictates my schedule, gives me pressure time wise, forces me to decide on things I do not feel I want to, or to follow something I am not 100% behind anymore. Certainly I feel responsible about schedules and appointments, I always tried to be accurate, on time and well prepared what ever it was, but sometimes the thought of “Do I really need that?” sneaked into my mind and I was more careful the next time I committed to something. But what about things that you thought they would totally suit you and you would enjoy them – what you maybe even did for a while – and then they change? Maybe the fun fades or they take direction to something completely different than what you expected or pictured? I have a hard time lettings things go I had fun with for along time, especially if friendship is involved. It is always harder – at least for me – to leave something, if you have built a friendship with some of the people. Sometimes friendships break as certain people will take your decisions personally, even if they are not meant to be like that. On the other hand if you go on with it, you might risk the friendship as well as you are constantly unhappy and even if you try to hide it, it most likely will be felt by other people, especially if it is friends. Often it is a tightrope walking and you have to think very carefully how you decide.

That sometimes can lead to a “Virtual Insanity”, which inspired me for todays post and pictures.

The damn cool straight jacket was made by CerberusXing for the Warehouse Sales event. It comes in a clean and bloody version and due the BoM Alpha layer you can wear it with different mesh bodies. The cute, pierced horns as well were made by CerberusXing for the Anthem event. My mega awesome piercing I found at Kinky made my .:E.A.Studio:. It is a huge gacha with many different parts, while the piercing is one of the rares you will find a lot of cool earrings as well. To snap my pictures with that kinda crazy, insane look, what could be better than the Rosewood Hills Asylum made by DRD. It is a huge gacha with 49 collectables items and they make in total over 150 separate decorative items!Ā  The gacha set was parted into 2 machines, one focusing more on the medical interior and the other on the office interior. I just can say both totally worth to collect if you want an overall awesome Asylum! RL sometimes really sucks… especially if it eats up more time as planned and it is not on your own to control it. I recently had a change in my RL job and the new association I am working for doesn’t seem like it is as promised when I had my interview there. I am sure many of you know that if you have your interview, everything sounds nice, all questions you had are answered positive, kinda like to good to be true and when you signed your contract, some things surprisingly change… I am sure I will work it out, but at the moment it just pulls on my nerves, it is time consuming and annoying.

It does hold me back from talking as much pictures as I planned and it does throw me back in my planned posts as well. But I will do my best to at least let all my dark visions for Halloween come true in time šŸ˜‰

Today I do have some news from the mega cool Samhain event. It is a fantastic event, awesome venue and amazing designers do take part. My pictures today do showcase the incredible cool head piece from “CerberusXing”, the heavy arm chains from “Static”, the cool decor set from “Disorderly” and the amazing bra of the lingerie set from “The Rotting Lab”.

The uber-awesome face tattoo is a main store new release by “Eclipse Art Studio”, while you can find the amazing arms tattoo at the “Vegas Tattoos” main store.

Today I have some perfect new for the actual season from Madame Noir combined with Hotdog and CerberberusXing. In the dark fantasy mood you can’t live without those brands – ok I never can live without them, but in these days they are even more desired by so many *winks*

So lets take a closer look… The incredible glasses with the long antennae or tentacles and the cool chains the connect both sides are a total must have for all those who love the scary things. To make it even more creepy,I added those cool eyeballs with the inbuilt arm/hand animation. They reminded me of a movie thatĀ  love a lot called Pan’s Labyrinth – I know the creature there had the eyeballs in the palms of the hand. To hold them properly and in style,Ā  I felt I need some sharp claws certainly from CerberusXing. Since I am a tattoo addicted, I could not skip that awesome tattoo from Vegas which you can find at their main store.

As many of you know I love to play with opposites… and when I saw the new lipstick from CAZIMI, that originally was made to be sweet, sugarcoated lips, I could not resist to merge them into my look :p

The closer Halloween comes, the more stores release items for this special season… the more I lapse into that mood *grins wickedly*. For me that could go on through the whole year!
