For those who know me, I am not a huge friend of nude pictures in general, besides some very artistic ones. I mostl try to cover my bits, but when it comes to fetish clothing, sometimes you have to make compromises, as many do show a lot of skin. I usually try to hide a little bit with poses and angles, most of the time that works out pretty well. I love to hide the “facts” and try to just give room for imagination 😉

For today my base to start from were the “Marie Ankle Boots” and the cool short hairstyle called “No.Commitment” from no.match. I had put on those 2 designs and was rambling through my inventory, to find some other things I could use for my pictures. When I stumbled over the “Elegents Harness” from Sorumin, I was clear it will be a fetish style. I loved the way how that huge ribbon at the front of the neck gave a contrast to the strong leather harness with its chains. Sadly it only came as a top and so I had to find some pants. I first tried with jeans and leather pants, but nothing really kicked my mind until I found the “Jennie” shorts of JF Design in my inventory. High wasted pants but not wit those mainstream looking high, sexy leg cut outs – had nearly had a light vintage touch to me with their shape (I hope that made sense*snickers*)

The “Marie Ankle Boots”, as usual for [Gos] designs, come with a huge HUD of 21 colors for the shoe and 4 different colors for the sole – I always love the red sole, it reminds me of the Louboutin shoes in RL*giggles. The booties are no leather boots, but some kind of stretch fabric, which is kinda unusual to find in SL and I immediately loved that.

More and more I love the extra ears you can get at many different places. One of my personal favorites is Eclipse Art Studio. I do love her ears and as well her accessories, like the “Thunderstrike” Nails and rings. They are available for all popular mesh bodies and bento enabled. With a HUD you can change the metal and nail colors.

It felt so naked with the harness only and I decided to have a cool, huge tattoo besides my 2 little duck-tape pasties – with tattoos I usually only feel half as naked :p

I enjoyed to do a black & red shoot again so much, that I certainly ended up with way more pics than I could use for this post, but sometimes just shooting is a cool learning process for me too as I always discover new angles and possibilities. I always find something new even with playing with the windlight options… I am really looking forward to the offical release for the new EEP viewer with all the new graphic options!

“Time of my Life!”

Vintage Fair is going on at the moment and even if the oder was “pre 80s” for the theme at the event, I could not resist to do another colorful 80s post with some items and designs I found there. The center of my style this time was the cool “Discordia” top from The Annex. Certainly you can style that top in a 70s style as well, but as you can see 80s works too.

Believe it or not, the Vintage Fair is one of my favorite events in Second Life. I know many of you know I am a friend of weird and dark things, but vintage styles especially the 20s to 50s are times and styles that really touch me somehow. Maybe it is because of the music. I love Swing, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Rockabilly! I do have some more vintage posts prepared, but I wanted to start with that cool top as it caught my attention from the moment I put it on the first time. The top is available in 5 different colors and made for Maitreya.

What perfectly fit the 80s look where the “Star Boots”, made by [Gos]. The certainly come with a color HUD, but that silver colors was so perfect for that look. On the picture above you can see a few more colors, but not all of the them 😉 In total you get 15 colors for the main boot, 5 for the lining, 2 for the heel, tread and laces and 3 different metals. For the heel, if you want it the same color as the shoes, you simply can chose the main boot color as that includes the heel, too.

Another cool thing I wanted to talk about is the LeLutka Axis HUD. I know, it is around for a while, but I still get asked how I do my facial expressions apart from the ready made ones you can buy for the LeLutka heads. The HUD is not limited to LeLutka only. You can animate other brands heads as well. I tried it myself with LAQ and Logo and I was asking a friend, that uses Catwa and she said it works too. The only tricky part is expressions with the tongue involved as those seem to react a little different. Other than that, the Axis HUD worked on the other heads just fine for me (You always can try the demo). That HUD opened a new world of close up pictures for me – not only close ups but there you can see the most impact certainly, if you have the face in your focus. With the Axis HUD you can either create a fully new expression OR you can alter expressions that you already have for your head. Since my English is not the best I would like to quote something from the website that explains the most important infos of the HUD:

“Most of what you need to know about getting started can be found on the info pages which show on HUD itself when you first wear it. You can return to those info pages at any time you like by clicking the “i” button on the top of your HUD.

You can click and drag on the point grids to rotate each facial bone on one, two or three axis, depending on the bone. Three axis bones such as the lip bones have an extra row underneath the main point grid which you can use to rotate the bone on the third axis. There are also larger circles at the edges of the brows and lips which allow you to move several bones together. Once you have the expression just how you like it, you can save your animation set into a savorite at the bottom of the HUD if you want to recall it later.

You can also target up to three other avatars and individually set up unique facial animations for group photos or just a bit of fun.”

I tried the HUD not only o myself, but as well with my partner and me no a picture and it worked perfectly.I was wearing the “Simone” head while he was wearing a Catwa one and it worked without any issues (https://www.flickr.com/photos/wiccamerlin/45078595804/in/dateposted-public/)

I was able to create way more moods and expressions, what really raised the bar for my pictures in my view. I am able to even more expressing emotions or having fun moments that without that HUD!

Last but not least – yes that again is a longer post, but there was so many details that should not be overlooked 🙂 – I would like to draw your attention to my hairstyle. It was made by no.match and is called “No.Stress”. You can find it at the actual round of eBENTO. Usually I prefer blond, because of my no eyebrow trademark. But today, for my 80s look I felt I should have some more colored hair, that as well is one of the reasons for me wearing eyebrows today 😉 For me it was the first time, that I touched the ‘unicorn’ color HUD from no.match – after seeing it I know it will not be the last time :p

Tokyo after Dark

Being still in my dark period, I was in a dark casual mood today 😉

I love the “VoDoo” ears so much, I had to do another post with them. I am not a fan of elf ears for everyday looks but sometimes – for what ever reason – I love them not just for a fantasy style.

Today I wanted to showcase one of Ex Machina’s awesome buildings. I rarely saw better structures that are made with more love for the details, than the designs from Hatris Panacek, owner and designer of Ex Machina. It is no secret , that I adore her work, otherwise we never would have asked her to make a custom built store building and most of it’s interior for us. Hattie has amazing skills when it comes to building and as well to texturing. She works so hard to get her realistic looking surfaces done and it pays of every time she does a new release. The “Tokyo after Dark” building is one of her latest creations. On her vendor she states, that his is the first in a set of urban, Japanese, cyberpunk styled buildings. That mean for me we can hope on more of those, which would make me super duper happy, because I LOVE that kind of style 😉

For my pictures I used 2 of the buildings and the amazing street components she delivers with the building. I just turned one of the buildings 90 degrees, so I could showcase the front and the backside as well – I really loved the stair case in the back a lot. I snapped over 10 pictures and I liked all of them. Making a decision was really not easy this time. When I started I just wanted to showcase the amazing “VoDoo” ears and the awesome “Tokyo after Dark” building. But the more I was fooling around with a style the more I got my vibe for that dark urban look. I used the amazing “Bella Leather Pants” from [Gos]. I already blogged those before, but in a more sweet casual style and I wanted to try if they do work for some more dark looks as well – They do!

What as well caught my attention a lot was the new tattoo from Mister Razzor. I love when tattoos go up till parts of the head, but not many are really seamless. The “Dante” tattoo, which was released at the Black Fair not too long ago, did not disappoint in that matter 🙂

Again I am wearing my everyday head from LeLutka. I know the “Simone” bento head was one of the first heads, that LeLutka released when the new bento generation of heads came out, but it is still my absolute favorite one, even if I more and more enjoy the new Korina head as well *winks*

The “Simone” head with a skin from the Skinnery became kinda my trademark. When I first put on the “Simone” head, I wasn’t really sold on the first try, as it looked very young with the default skin from Glam Affair. Since I am in Second Life now for over 10 years I wanted a more adult look for my pixels. I did a lot of things and I did grow up lightly too during my Second Life journey. That I wanted to mirror with my avatar as well. I remember very well the moment when I put on “my” skin. As models we all had quite some trouble when the first mesh heads came out and we all looked the same more or less, while we were told ALWAYS, tht our face would be our trademark in the modeling business. But the bento generation changed that “issues” pretty fast, when we were able again to at least customize our heads a little more again. From that moment on I was in love with my “Simone” head. I tried all the new bento heads from various brands but none was able to satisfy my needs as LeLutka did. What I do love the most on the “Simone” head (and as well on the Korina one), that it is not the usual mainstream beauty. It does have edges and give – depending on the skin – a very characteristic look. With my Skinnery skin and some face modifications from Izzie’s, I was completely sold with my new look and never really changed it drastically again – just some minor shape and other changes here and there 😉

Red Trench…

I do not know why, but when I tried on the “Roxy” gacha set, I instantly had a Dick Tracy feeling *giggles* Probably it was the cool trench coat of the set 😉

The “Roxy” gacha set is an awesome collaboration between [Gos] and Lybra. While Lybra made the lingerie and the trench coat, [Gos] contributed the cool boots. The lingerie fits amazingly under the trench and for a cool RP, I can see a complete use for that *giggles* I guess I will have to showcase the lingerie some when as well, but for today I just wear it underneath the trench coat and it just pokes out here and there when my pixels move 😉

The super cute hair was my by no.match one of my personal favorite hair stores. The huge wavy hair matched perfect to my little “Dick Tracy” mood. It originally was made for the COSMOPOLITAN event but it should be at the main store by now.

Now you will wonder, why Wicca looks so ‘young today’… that has a special reason 😉

As I stated before I feel so honored to be chosen as a LeLutka blogger and I certainly want to showcase all of their amazing work.  Today I am wearing the “Vera” head. Usually I try to look like a middle aged woman between 30 and 40 with my avatar, but the Vera head had such a cute vibe for me, I could not resist to get a young skin for it too. It is incredible how you can change the look of each LeLutka head with different skins and shapes. I did not have that for other bento mesh heads that much, that is probably the reason why I am so addicted about LeLutka heads *snickers* Plus the fact that they are so versatile, they do have an amazing HUD and I never ever had trouble with controlling my head completely. I know that many do have issues with HUD s from other heads, as they are either so many different HUDs, or one way too huge that isn’t that lag resistant. I enjoy the HUDs for the LeLutka heads a lot. They are clearly structured, have several tabs, that let you customize the heads with textures and animations and you even can do backup safeties for your heads if you get updates or if something goes wrong. You do do not have to set up your head from scratch you just can use your back up to restore your settings and safed makeups/skins on a fresh copy. LeLutka update their heads on a regular base with all new features like baked mesh and they are fixing minor issues, which I rarely notice before they get fixed 😉 I soon have to make a post about the great add-ons too. Did you know that LeLutka made several candies that cooperate with their mesh heads? I love chewing their bubble gum inworld on my avatar – but that will be another post soon!

Ok, to be fair – The pictures for this post were inspired a lot by “True Blood”. True Blood is an American dark fantasy horror television series produced and created by Alan Ball and based on “The Southern Vampire Mysteries”, a series of novels by Charlaine Harris.

I watched it alredy in the past but I always missed the 7th season and now I finally found it on sky – Hooray \o/!!! Maybe that is, why I was going for an After Dark feeling 😉

So, while I was watching on my second screen I styled up the amazing “Bianca” harness, made by Salt & Pepper. It originally was released for the Fetish Fair this year, but I am sure you will find it at the main store by now. That harness really hides nothing *grins* and shoes off all of your beauty to the one you like to play with *winks* – Red totally liked it, too! With the HUD you get 8 different leather and 5 different metal colors to play with. Certainly  went with black as it is my personal favorite color anyways. So even if I try sometimes to not use the black options, I can’t do anything against it, if it nevertheless happens 😉

Mostly I avoid showing my private parts to the public, but I did not want to cover the outfit with another piece of clothing. So when I saw the “No.Help” hairstyle from no.match, it was the perfect solution to my little personal problem. The hair covers the needed bits and still shows the awesome harness – mission achieved!

I was wearing boots for the shoot, but since they are mostly cut off I did do a closeup only for them. The “Kate Thigh High Boots”- made by [Gos] – are so super awesome, that they deserved a special spotlight still 😉 They really go up very high and I do LOVE that height for all short bodysuit or harness outfits. I personally see more sexiness in covered legs than just having them blank. That can be over-knee boots, stockings, socks or tights – anyways what I prefer it over having bare legs, except for swim-wear. The boots are made for all the popular mesh bodies (Maitreya, Slink & Belleza) and you get a lot of color options with 3 different HUD packs and you as well have the choice, if you would like a thin or a thick heel style with each of the HUDs (like you can see on the picture below) I only captured 5 different colors but you will have a total of 21 different colors to chose from.

As I mentioned in a post before, I was selected to be a LeLutka blogger and so you will have always a closeup for each post from now on. I am a LeLutka addicted anyways and I did not wear any other heads on my blog since the LeLutka bento heads came out. My main head I am wearing for my SL Wicca” character is the “Simone” bento head from LeLutka. That is the head I know best for now as I am working with it for a while with shapes and skins, but I will learn to work others as well – I already started practicing *grins* But I want to show as well how versatile one head can be with different shapes and skins too and so here is my close up for today – “Simone” in all her beauty with my main skin from “The Skinnery” and face mods from Izzies for freckles, pores, wrinkles and blemishes!

Cyber & Sci-fi time again!

There is so many exciting events running at the moment, it is really hard to resist to not buy everything you see at those events… Especially if it is events like Black Fair, Epiphany, ACCESS or The Fantasy Faire even.

A few things I got nevertheless and they screamed cyberpunk/sci-fi for me 😉 I am still in my dark period with creating styles and pictures and the more I do, the more I enjoy it 🙂 With the dark and fantasy side of SL, I feel so much inspiration lately that I could post something every day if I would have the time to post process all my pictures. But since I wanted to use my easter holidays for learning new tricks in Photoshop, finishing pictures takes some time – even a little more with try and error these days *winks* The desire was to learn more about shading, lights and shadows and how they can be done realistic in Photoshop. I had some basic knowledge about that with a lot of layers, but I wanted to have a different result, something I saw a lot on flickr lately and that was why I forced myself to watch some tutorials and then try them instantly myself. I am not yet done completely with my research, but for today I was pretty satisfied how those new tips and ticks worked out.

The mega, amazing “Aeon Cyber Corset” is one of the latest releases from A&Y. I love the creations of Anabel Crystal, owner and designer of A&Y. She has a very special way for sci-fi and cyberpunk creations and I do love her skills for vinyl and leather clothing. The corset you can find at the actual round of the ACCESS event, while there is a matching top/jacket at the black fair, which I will have to showcase soon too (I saw that after I finished my styling for this post already).

The incredible “Voodoo” ears are as well a brand new release at the Black Fair. I love the ears of Eclipse Art Studio and Shina Shan never stop to amaze me with every new release. She always has another cool idea for the accessories of her ears. This time it was that little voodoo doll, that she added to the earlobes as an earring. The voodoo doll can be purchased as a single earring as well if you do not want to have the long elf ears ;). I love how easy you can tint the ears to match your skin and the possibility of all the tattoos you can add really make those ears so versatile.

For a strong, powerful outfit you need super cool boots and those I found with the “Roxy” boots from [Gos]. The boots are part of a gacha, which is a collaboration of [Gos ] and Lybra. I will have a post for that gacha and all of it’s beauty soon – the boots just matched so awesome with my look, that I could not resist to already use them *blushes* The thigh high boots are super tight and have an amazing laced back. Certainly there are more colors available than just black in the gacha 😉

For the location I was trying first to set up something by myself, but this time I did not wanna come together as I desired it and so I made may way out to see if I could find a cyberpunk sim for my pictures. First I tried Cocoon, which is amazingly built but for non group members you have no rez rights and I wanted to use my pose stand this time. I need to go back another time as they really do have amazing spots for pictures and the sim rules even allow photographers as long as you wear an OOC titler, which you can find at the landing spot.

I did remember, that Insilico had rezzing open at least for rezzing a pose stand top hop on. The auto-return kicks in after a few minutes, but as long as you sit on your stand, you are safe. Just do not get scared when you are done and stand up as the stand will be returned to your lost and found folder.

After I could not decide about a perfect spot and had shot some random snaps, I did remember a few backdrops, that I got as a present from a friend not too long ago. The whole gacha set is amazing and I hope, I can find/win the ones I still miss in my collection. The “Cyberpunk Capsule *7*” was the perfect background for my look.

Who says Girls can’t be Car Mechanics?!?

Since I went decoration crazy at our parcel with the new store, I thought I can do a few pictures there now 😉

I really forgot how much fun decorating is and I never had the option to go post-apocalyptic crazy… the new look of the store does allow that, I have a feeling that will become a never ending story :p . One of the last garages I filled with neat little things was an actual vintage car mechanic looking slot. I never did know, I have all those gacha items for this special location in my inventory…

When I saw the finished spot I had the idea of a strong girl, which repairs cars and scooters on her own. After I was getting nuts finding oil appliers for hands and face, I decided to do ‘pre work’ pictures *giggles*.

The cool boots are the latest release of [Gos] for the actual round of FaMESHed. They do have a strong rubber looking sole and foot part, that lead into knitted high over-knee socks. I can see the awesome “Louise Trail Boots” as well as part of a school girl uniform or what ever you can imagine to do with them. I personally think they are very versatile. The boots come with a huge color HUD and are made for all popular mesh bodies. 13 colors for the shoes, 12 colors for the socks. As if that would not be already enough you can as well decide about a black or white tread and the way you want your stripes on the socks.

The cool and wild hair is one of the newest releases of no.match for the Salon 52 event. I love the asymmetric style and the high ‘wave’ at the front. It always reminds me about the 80s a little bit where we tried to get our hair fixed with a lot of hairspray like that.

Like I mentioned before, the garage is only one little spot of many at your new parcel and you are welcome to take a look and maybe do a few pictures yourself. I hope to see you there 🙂

Winter Thoughts

Today, just a ‘quicky’ as I had fun doing a picture with this look, but posing the coat drove me nuts…

Do you know that feeling if you are trying to make a picture with some cool poses and then long coats or skirts do not cooperate due game mechanics? It is so frustrating. I do not wanna tilt my picture sideways, just because I do want to have a picture where you can see the full outfit! I realized that it became some kind of a trend to just tilt your pictures 90 degrees, but to be honest… I don’t like that for myself. I always have the desire to tilt my monitor to see those pictures the right way and that can get pretty annoying to me. I love sit, crouch and leaning poses a lot more than just simple standing poses. With my usual blog pictures size, I get more ambiance and landscapes into pictures, than the actual outfit I do want to showcase. I do not know what it is, that I try to get away from simple standing poses… maybe they are not emotional enough to me anymore, because I saw and used them too many times on the runway and on pictures. Especially if you have some details like shoes, hair or rings, you don’t want to do crops only all the time and specific poses or special poses with a little more. Speaking of shoes, the shoes I am wearing for this post are from [Gos]. Those cute ankle boots with the sharp tip, are the perfect addition to the cool nearly vintage/Victorian looking coat from Hotdog. I do like to break the typical style rules and combine different items from different epochs 😉

As usual the amazing 3 HUDs – Boutique, Blueberry and Metallic – are available for the “Hurley Ankle Boots”. The have a quite wide shaft and so you can manage to wear some mesh pants with them.

The cool hair, which usually is way too modern for the coat, but matches the booties so nicely is one of the latest releases from no.match at the Cosmopolitan event. I do have an addiction to short hair 😉

I wanted a winter scenery for my picture, but not the usual shiny, sweet winter wonderland type… I wanted something more dark, desert and lonely looking, BUT I wanted to rez that amazing “Building Remains” structure, that DRD released for the actual round of their Eclipse event. Probably you can imagine if you search for a certain type of location AND would like to rez something, that can drive you nuts and most of the time you will end up building one yourself. I was simply to lazy today to do that :p I finally found a spot on Luanes Winter World sim. I just had to de-rez a few of the sweet things and it worked! I was so happy with that, as I already thought that will take hours to find what I was imagining.

It was time again for some futuristic ideas 😉 Some times I do like to give myself some challenges and today, I wanted to bring together the awesome “Aglaya Latex Cyber Collar” – made by A&Y – and the super cute “Frenchie Ankle Boots” from [Gos]. Latex collar and some rough cloth looking ankle boots with a shiny leather tip. I made it a challenge for me to combine 2 complete different fabrics and none of both should look out of place, or have more impact than the other – if that makes sense. I wanted them to shine together with each other and not compete against. I looked though my inventory to balance out the style. The first day I tried it I was nearly giving up as nothing seemed to work – I already was about to use the full “Aglaya” set from A&Y as it goes so perfectly together. But I already blogged the other parts a few times (I still do love them like mad), plus I did not want to throw my first challenge of the year so quickly 😉

I had to find the right balance and fabrics to put together my look. After a while I found a top, that played directly in my hands with those different fabrics and so I had hope again that this could work out nevertheless! The “Ellie Corset Top”, a collaboration of Azuchi and Vinyl. I do have that for a longer time and for today it was the perfect choice. The top has a matte fabric, while the corset has the perfect shiny look. For the arms I used one one arm some classic opera gloves, which I pimped with the cool “Pyper 69 Upper Arm” bracelet. On the other arm I went with the bento enabled “Nemesis Arms” from Wicca’s Wardrobe with the shiny metal plates. The latex skirt from United Colors and some Nylon stockings connected the upper with the bottom and the crazy “Medusa Cyber Hair”, as well from A&Y, combined with the “Disco Glasses from #187#gave the whole style a futuristic look. Since the look already is so full of details I decided to use a more simple background to get a more editorial looking picture.

Even Angels enjoy the first Snow?

I know I am usually not the white person, but I do desire the snow so much, now that it gets more and more close to Christmas. There are so many amazing winter designs around at the moment, even if I am not the biggest landscaper I tried to create a little winter scenery for my snow angel 😉

The super sexy over-knee boots I am wearing, are one of the latest releases from [Gos] for the Holiday round of Epiphany. The “Frenchie Knit Boots” are a gacha a 21 items gacha with 3 rares (black, gold and the fatpack HUD) You have the choice between a slim and a block heel for your boots and the darker the colors become, the more you can see the knitted fabric. The boots are available for Maitreya Lara, Belleza Isis & Freya and Slink Hourglass, you just have to play the right button for your size 😉

The amazing hair, that looks like waving in the wind, was made by no.match for the MOM (Mens only Monthly) event. Even if the event is called mens only… I like the hairstyles for females as well 😉
