A Lonely Dancer

A Lonely Dancer

A fallen dream…I hit the ground of Eden
For a last time…
A bleeding vision…an ancient prophecy

Zibska 9

White wings still burning…
I’m hidden in the dark…autumn never ends here
Forever trapped in the wings of eternity……
I gave you shelter…a place without fears
Oh, now I’m dancing with spectres of heaven……
A burning symbol bleeds – A deathless path ends
Did you realize what we have done?
A burning heart cries – A deathless love begins
I realized, life is just lies…
That bleeding vision shows us a true life
White wings are burning…
A lonely dancer…so far away from you
Sad melody dies – forever love lives…
A burning symbol bleeds – A deathless path ends
Did you realize what we have done?
We’re living in a new paradise…a painful journey begins
We’re wasting intentions of life…we’re wasting all of our sins……
Β

Zibska 1

We are wasting all…a lonely dancer
This is the last serenade…this is the last serenade
This is our last serenade…a lonely dancer…I am…
A burning heart cries-A deathless love begins
I realized, life is just lies…
We’re living in a new paradise
…a painful journey begins
We’re wasting intentions of life
…we’re wasting all
My fallen dream…it seems a broken mirror
In a lost time…
Ethereal vision…ethereal prophecy
White wings will fly again…
Until then a lonely dancer I am…will fly again…
Will fly again…a lonely dancer I am…I am…

Melancholic Halloween Mood

Arts in Hats 4

Halloween is – as I stated a few times before – my favourite part of the years. I like the dark, mystic, mysterious and spooky stories and fairytales a lot.

When I was thinking about, what I could style for the “Lula Bella Hat” from SAS. The hat is one of the contributions of Sascha’s Designs for the upcoming Art in Hats event. The hat is a wonderful arrangement of flowers and some awesome shining spheres. The hat is available in white and black at the Art in Hats event.

Arts in Hats 5

The hat was all sweet and beautiful and I was really thinking hard about what to do.

I remembered a wonderful corset, which I got lately from a very dear friend. The” Rosalies Corset”, made byΒ  Enfant Terrible. I always admired the work of Enfant Terrible as she puts so much love for the detail in all of her creations. The “Rosalies Corset” again shows that. The shape is amazing realistic and with the sweet ruffles and this incredible texture it really is a wonderful part for your wardrobe.

Arts in Hats 8

To complete the style I put on the “Couture Loggins” fro Maitreya. They are kinda a long time favoured of mine. I like the way how the shoes are kinda connected to the leggings.

To complement the wonderful spheres of the hat I decided to wear the “Eva” necklace from Finsmith to add a more elegant and maybe even vintage touch, which the corset already provides.

When I was putting the look together, I still had the super cool “Halloween Decor” gacha set from GizzA up and all of a sudden the little “Eyes Jar” fell right into my view.

Immediately an idea grew in my mind and I started to look for a blindfold in my inventory. I thought I had a special blindfold, what would be right perfect for my imagination, but I did not remember from which brand…

Arts in Hats 9

In the moment I was to give up, as my inventory seemed not willing to give me what I wanted, it fell into my hands… The “Bloody Blindfold” from Rotten Defiance!

With having Halloween, I really was a lot of fun, to realize that scary and spooky idea…

It was one of those special moments when you do not really plan on something and all of a sudden things fall together so perfectly…

I did not yet choose an outfit for tonight’s Halloween Party, but that look, might have a good chance to get picked πŸ˜‰

Halloween @ Wicca’s Wardrobe

Avicula 2

Halloween… maybe my favourite time of the year πŸ˜‰

The nights become darker and colder. The fog takes over in most of the evenings and bathes the ground in dense fog so that you get the imagination to walk over grey fogs. Very mysterious πŸ™‚

Halloween in the US is way more popular than in Germany, but even over here we have some wild and crazy parties πŸ˜‰

That gives us the freedom to go wild in SL too and design some crazy outfits for all those Halloween lovers and those who enjoy the season as much as I do πŸ˜‰

Today I would like to showcase the “Avicularia” outfit, one of our original mesh designs for this years spooky season.

Avicula 5

The dress has high open front, and a long flowing back skirt. The gloves, all the spider attachments and the huge spider web in the back are part of the outfit. The gloves fit the regular avatar and as well we included Slink hands applier for all those who love their mesh Slink hands. To be honest I can’t live without them anymore.

The amazing “Myostola” headpiece is another new release at Wicca’s Wardrobe. The headpiece covers nearly the whole head and with the 2 horns it really makes a strong statement. The headpiece is available in 2 different versions. Once with and once without the spider web and the little spider between the horns. For each of the 3 colors you always will get 2 different pieces per box. with a vice versa color combination like black/grey and grey/black for example.

To complete the look we created the “Grammostola” necklace. The collar is inspired by a spiderweb as well and has one little spider sitting at the front left.

Avicula 4

To add some more to the look we tried to create some matching makeup too. I have to admit, it looked way more easy than it was and I do not see my future in that*giggles.

Anyways, for this outfit I tried to make a spiderweb for the right eye, an eyeliner and lipstick matching to the basic color of the dress.

Sometimes I get asked why some outfits would have such weird names…Β  so it was for the Avicularia, Myostola and Grammostola. Basically all those names are certain spiders of the bird spider family πŸ˜‰ With the latin names it kinda sounded so scary and spooky, that I just loved it πŸ˜‰

And now, I wanna go and find a cool place to hang out with my spooky scary look or maybe jump on one of my best friends, not to mention she suffers quite an arachnophobia*giggles evil*

Mother of Dragons…

Mother of Dragons 1

I always had an addiction for dragons and my mom always laughed at me when I said “I know there must be some left dragon eggs somewhere, just nobody yet found them. Dragons will be back some when!”

But believe it or not, even if I am a well-educated and taught person and have some knowledge of science… I am still not willing to give up that thought πŸ˜‰

Mother of Dragons 2

Second Life, gives me the freedom to play with fantasies and so it was kinda a given that I needed some dragons πŸ˜‰

Last month when I was invited to put some pictures at Windlight Gallery, paired with the fact that I was watching the latest Game of Thrones season, the idea did grow in my mind to do my very own vision of the Mother of Dragons inspired by the Khaleesi πŸ˜‰

Mother of Dragons 3

Β The dragons I fund at Manticore (Thank you so much Daff for showing me!!!), a wonderful shop for all kind of animals and fantasy creatures. They are wearable and will walk around with you as soon as you have them attached.

The idea of having kinda series for this pictures, came by snapping… first I wanted to just do one picture, and the more I snapped the more ideas came to my mind and all of a sudden they fell together like a short story. In the end I was not able anymore to decide wich one I wanted to use and I just let them be the whole story in the end πŸ˜‰

Mother of Dragons 4

For the outfit I chose one we made for Wicca’s Wardrobe. Originally it was made for a Game of Thrones inspired theme, but we now put it at the store too in 3 different colors.

The “Visenya” is a short outfit with the great collar and some armor plates arranged as a back skirt. It goes very well together with the “Dragon Queen Headpeice”, the “Dragon Earrings” and the “Alysanne Booties”, which also were made for that event.

It really was great fun to play around with the dragons and loose myself in a time that has been long gone… but dreams.. they stay and who knows… maybe someday someone will find a mysterious egg.. somewhere πŸ˜‰

LOTD 08/11/2015 – Back to the 80s?

Gabriel 001aI can not deny it… I am a child of the 80 somehow.

Born in 1977 I am basically too young to have experienced the 80s fashion myself a lot, but it was the time when I grew up and I still love the style of that time.

The 80s to me kinda show a fashion rebellion and as well I think that the 80s fashion made the way for what we call fashion nowadays.

Gabriel 002aWhen I put on the Emma Dress from Gabriel, I immediately fell in love and back to the 80s*giggles. Even if that dress matches a modern styling as well with the red and black and the shape of the dress I so saw Cyndi Lauper or Whitney Houston wearing it :p

The short dress with a kind of wrapped look, where the red overlays the black fabric, the neat belt, it just screamed 80s at me πŸ˜‰

The back of the “Emma” dress holds a very sexy secret as well πŸ˜‰ You have a small gap between top and skirt that gives a very naughty view on your lower back*rawr*

Gabriel 004aI added the “Khalessi” bracelets from [sys] and some heavy boots from [GOS], tp even more go towards the 80s look.

The amazing hair, which is connected to the hat comes from Ayashi and just was the perfect addition for that look. Certainly I needed a cool tattoo too and what can be better than one of my beloved White Widow tattoos!

Julie did it again and made a wonderful and as well sexy looking tattoo, that goes over the whole body and even down the hands, plus it even has a wonderful painted garter looking ornament at the left leg. The “Music Box” tattoo is available in theΒ  3 different colors and I chose the ‘Dark’ version for this post.

The fabulous nail polish was made by Giela Delpaso for Nailed It!

News @ Machoire – Back in Black

Machoire 01

Today I have the great pleasure to showcase some of the newest releases from Machoire.

The amazing “Veitades Hat” in black and the super edgy “Colde Heels” as well in black, both from Machoire.

The “Colde Heels” are made for the slink high mesh feet. with the huge circle shaped heel and the wonderful triangled front, those shoes are really a statement. Those high fashion and avant garde looking shoes definitely will turn heads everywhere you go and should not miss in a modern fashionistas wardrobe!

Machoire 02

The head piece is a very complex and detailed piece of art. With the huge back part that gives the imagination of a light fabric floating in the air and the wonderful mask, I would not dare to just call it mask or hat, as the whole design comes in one piece. The awesome waved silver lines at the sides and the edgy spiked curved part on the top are a perfect match for the cool looking solver mask, which is ornamented with some amazing chains across the eyes. The chains are repeated below the chin and with the shining gems at the forehead it really becomes a little precious in every wardrobe.

Romantic Dreams with [AD] Creations

AD Creations 01

Today I was in a very romantic mood, when I remembered the amazing “Oltre” mesh dress from [AD] Creations. Aliza Karu again outdid herself with a fantastic unique creation, that totally caught my heart.

The amazing “Oltre” dress has a bottom long skirt with a wonderful transparent net fabric skirt on top of the opaque one, wich adds a lot of sweet elegance and gives the whole look a very playful touch. The puffy sleeves in that darker color high light the upper body part in an amazing way. The huge head-piece as well is part of the outfit. With the long tentacle looking pats in the back it reminds me very much of some couture looks, I recently saw in fashion magazines.

The tendrils that surround the whole upper body and reach down to the skirt are ornamented with beautiful roses and petals what brought me to the idea to accessorize the dress with some designs of Pixel Box, which I got recently.

The “Goth Rose Ring”, the “Gothic Roses Necklace” and the “Goth Roses” eye patch. With the rose ornaments on the jewelry items it was a perfect match to the “Oltre” dress from [AD] Creations.

The fantastic building I used for the photo comes from “Atelier Visconti” and was released at the Fantasy Faire as an RFL item called “Morgana Fountain”. It comes in 4 different versions. One as a full version and 3 different versions of a ruined one. With the sweet water lilies in the middle totally matched the tendrils that surround the body and underlined the wonderful dreamy and fantasy look I wanted for today’s post πŸ™‚

Playing with Projectors and Lighs – Part I

TFC Fantasy 01

A few days ago, I joined a class about blogging as I wanted to know if I can learn something new, as I am always looking for new thing I can discover and raise my horizon.

The class was amazing and at some point we came to the part of the pictures and how to take them and wich kind of pictures are for what situation. Usually you have more clean pics for blogging and castings and some more artistic pictures for a storytelling blog post or magazines.

We were talking about many of the very popular photographers in SL and as well about the difference of photographer and artists.

While a photographer usually just takes pics and does them tweak a little bit in one of the graphic programs, the artist takes a snapshot and you will not see the original snap anymore after the artist did the magic with the picture in his program by painting and editing a lot by hand. I would never go so far, to say one has less work or more work than the other, the amount of work might be the same, just it is in 2 totally different ways. While the artist has to be very familiar with his editing s program, his graphic tablet and his skills to paint and illustrate, the photographer needs to be familiar with the SL windlights, shadows, special angles and lights and maybe even with projectors or lighting tools. Both is a lot of work, I believe and it needs a lot of practice just it complete different ways.

TFC Fantasy 02

I saw for a longer time , that many photographers work with a tool called lumipro. I remember great pics done with this special light tool and I always wanted one to try but, since it is not cheap and I work in so many different areas, I never got one.

But then… lately I was talking to a very long friend of mine a lot and helped her here and there if she wanted my opinion, as friends do usually. Out of the blue one day when I logged in I got a gift…

The crazy girl did know, that I was after the lumipro for quite some time and guess what… She gifted me a lumipro!!! I stormed her IMs telling her she would be crazy to make such expensive gifts and I was totally happy and crazy about. She was just calm, smiles and told me that would be her way to show me how much she appreciated my help. I told her, that I did not do that for any kind of gift, more just because of our friendship and that I never expected anything for that, but she insisted on that this would be her way and I better accept it.

OMG I have a lumipro!

The rest of the evening was just gone, with all the work I wanted to do and I totally lost myself in my new toy. I have to admit I have still no clue how it works properly and I will need to watch a lot of tutorials and ask around to really get used to this fantastic tool but I am more than willing to try!

For today I just played around with the presets and changed them lightly, to see what possibilities and features it has.

TFC Fantasy 03

God this is a weapon if you know what you are doing with it!!!

I just placed myself in front of a white wall with my war turtle from [Swagga] and turned my windlight settings to midnight to see the full range of the light balls.

I was blown away what those 3 balls can do and I digged further into the user manual on the lumipro website to see what all those buttons of the HUD can do.

Then I found the projectors… holy cow! Now I know how some light settings were made on pictures that I loved so much!

The way to project lights behind you with different textures as filters, was something I totally had forgotten about since I started to play with windlights.

I do not know much at all yet to really use this fantastic photography tool properly, but I know that I will spend a lot of time in the future to be able to operate this HUD and bein able to use all its functions and features as this really is a lot of fun to play around with and that is the reason why I named this post ‘Part I’, because I am really sure about that this will not be the last post about my playing with lights and projectors πŸ˜‰

But for now I have to finish as there is a lot of work left wich got delayed because of my new lumipro :p

The Dark Warrior with PurpleMoon & EMO-tions

PurpleMoon & EMO-tions 01

Dark Illusion Warrior

From nowhere came a warrior
With a mission to complete
He was in possession of extreme power
That he’d use on everyone he’d meet

He came when you least expected him
He brought terror to the world
You could expect no mercy
As he swung his sword

He was cursed by the Gods
He had to fight ’til he died
But finally he beat the odds
And then he was free, free to rise

Nobody knew where he came from
No one knew his destiny
The story was told through the centuries
A piece of tragic history

He came when you least expected him
He brought terror to the world
You could expect no mercy
As he swung his sword
