Spot on 2015! – Happy and Sad Moments

Today I was in a very special mood. We are in a time of the year, that we call ‘between the years’ in germany the last week of December and the first week of January. It is that time of the year where we think a lot about the past year and as well about the upcoming one. Many try to find New Year’s resolutions, or things they would change for the new year.

I quit doing that as usually those things never work out like they should and why I need a special time of the year, to change something or think about good resolutions?

Still it is kinda a weird and strange feeling time with all those surrounding you and asking you about all this. I solved it for me with writing down the most exciting and wonderful things that happened though the past year and as well the most sad moments. Not for a special reason and maybe just to look back some when and remember better what I did in 2015.

I never was a very religious person, but I believe in certain things and as well some that are not to grab with my both hands. I really believe that there is more between heaven and earth than we think of and care about. Life became so fast and sometimes we just do not see the little hints and things that show is about exactly that.

That mood brought me on my styling and picture idea for today. In the spotlight of being questioned about New Year’s solutions, being like a puppet to not make anyone mad by really voicing my opinion and surrounded by mystical things, little positive sparkles that will lead me over to the new year 😉

The 3 designers I would like to spotlight for today would be LeEnfant Terrible and Noke Yuitza and LeeZu. 2 of them are just 2 of all the wonderful moments, I was allowed to have for 2015 and one for one of the sad moments.

LeEnfant I met a few years ago for the first time, but we kinda did not have the luck to get each other known better. But ‘you always meet 2 times’ is a quote, that we have in Germany. I am very grateful that I had the chance to meet such a wonderful person again and even more, to become friends with her. When I met her the first time, it was kinda just a designer/blogger relation ship and never anywhere near than what me and her share today. She became one of the dearest persons in my life. She is so creative, so strong and so unbelievable amazing, I really enjoy each moment we share and I hope that this will last a life time. I’m looking forward to even meet her in RL very soon and I can’t wait the day when I am allowed to hug her for real 🙂

She made that wonderful “Emma’s Halo” headpiece for the actual round of We <3 RP. The headpiece is available in gold and silver and it comes with 2 different colored veils and as well as a second option with filigree shining tear drops. I decided to use the tear drops, which shall stand for the sad moments of the past year. The incredible details and the very realistic details are just 2 skills that are trademarks for LeEnfant’s work. She puts a lot of time and effort in her designs and to me, she is one of the most talented designers with a unbelievabel amazing quality to her creations.

Speaking of talent and quality, brings me to the second name, that I was talking about – Noke Yuitza. She is such an artistic and awesome mind and she is one of the rare people, that seems to understand my sometimes weird mind and thoughts. The first time I discovered her as a designer was in one of the past years arts in hats. Back then it was the “Maleficent Great Wave Hat” she released for her former brand Alegria, that caught my attention and brought me to her store. I found so many amazing and artistic, creative things, all with a special twist, which I realized is her very personal trademark. Every single piece she makes you can tell it is her creation. The amazing textures, the very special and artistic designs and lately as well the 100% original mesh items, which are materials enabled most of the time.

For today’s post I decided to use the “Etheral Body” with the belonging scarf and the “Atlantis Ankle Boots” from Noke Yuitza, which she made for her new brand E.V.E Studio.

The body is available in 7 different colors and comes in 3 standard sizes. Each of them has a color matching scarf to it, but I decided to cross colors and used the black body with the red scarf.

The body has a high slit at the sides and the cool “Atlantis Ankle Boots” in chrome and red were the perfect match to underline the sexy and cool look of the body 😉

The high slit brings me to my 3rd designer for today – LeeZu.

LeeZu was my first employment in SL ever as a model. I remember so well, when I was desiring to work at LeeZu so bad and filled out the apply as store model. Weeks passed by and I already had forced myself to give up as I was very new to modeling and probably I would need more experience in that field, as Vixie Rayna IMed me and asked me for an appointment to talk. Vixie was one of the staff and managers at LeeZu and she was responsible for the store models. The talk was led by Barbara Nicholls and Vixie Rayna and when they told me I will be hired, I danced around like crazy and nearly could not believe. I was told to meet with GM Nikolaidis for my official store model picture and you can imagine how that felt for me… my first model job and then in one of the most popular and fantastic SL fashion store. That was back in January 2010 and since then I was a store model and some when I even got asked to be the store model manager, what was one of the most exciting moments in my SL life.

This year this great job sadly ended after 6 wonderful years. LeeZu closed the inworld store and only is available on Marketplace now, where you will find many of the amazing creations for 99 linden only! Believe it or not it was a very sad moment as the LeeZu family with all the wonderful people really became something very special to me and 6 years is a hell of a long time in SL where time flies by so fast… I will never forget that time and all the wonderful people, that became family for me – Thank you LeeZu, Barb, GM, Vixie and all the wonderful and crazy fellow models over the 6 years!

Today I am wearing the “Brigitte Body Tights” underneath the high slitted body of E.V.E Studio. LeeZu always was one of the most high quality stores for clothing and furniture. The texture work of LeeZu was so incredible great and detailed, I always admired her work and she was one of my idols when I started to make clothing myself. The body stocking shows how amazing and filigree LeeZu was working on her designs and the love for the details, for every little fold, wrinkle and light – simply stunning!

I do not know, if I can manage another blog post before the year is changing and so I would like to thank YOU all, for following my blog for the last year, for always showing me your support, for giving me blogger reviews and I wish you all the best for 2016 and hope to see you again for my new posts!

A Night after Christmas with Asia Rae and E.V.E Studio

Phew Christmas is over and I have my ‘normal life’ back 😉

That gives me time, to blog about the newest releases of Asia Rae, E.V.E Studio and EMO-tions.

The amazing “Magissa Latex Dress” is one of the latest news by Asia Rae. The dress is a fashion dream with the huge cape looking shoulder part, that goes down until the elbows and the amazing combination of a knitted texture for the sleeves in contrast to the shiny latex looking fabric of the dress itself.

The super cool hair comes from EMO-tions for the Shiny Shabby Event. It is called “Jezebel” The huge hair style with the extraordinary shape comes with several appliers for mesh heads for the hair base and as well the amazing head band is part of the whole look.

Now I would like to drag your view no the amazing horns. They were made by Noke Yuitza for E.V.E Studio. The awesome horns are part of her Moon Collection, inspired by the winter nature. As always for E.V.E Studio the horns are 100% original mesh and materials enabled. You can choose between different colors for the horns to make them fit your desires 🙂

Sceneries are always important for pictures and for today I chose the amazing “Christmas Decoration Set” from 22769 to make my sweet and cozy background.

And now I will put back all my Christmas stuff into boxes and put it back in the attic of my sweet little Hobbit House until next year 😉

The Crow – Dark & Strong

Today I have the great pleasure to showcase another hat for the Art in Hats 2015 charity. This time it is the contribution of Miss Darcy”.

The “Stillness” hat not only includes the hat, but as well a wonderful and sad dramatic looking face tattoo.

The “Stillness” hat looks like a tree branch coming out from your head and has sitting a little crow in it. Additional to that you have crows flying around your head too what brought me on the idea of todays look.

The face tattoo reminded me about 2 things. First of all about the old silent movies, where pantomimes were used or even about the pantomimes, that you can find out on the street in the big cities who entertain the people while they are shopping.

And for the second reason.. I am a child of the 80s and back then those sad clowns, called Pierrot, were very popular. I know that the general term is way older, but they kinda had a revival in the 80s in black & white. And the mask kinda reminded me of that as well.

When I was putting the hat and the makeup on, I looked at it more and more the Crow theme was growing in my head. Again and again black crows and dead trees were floating through my mind.

The dead tree totally called for something late fall winter looking in my opinion and I remembered the “Corvo” outfit from Zibska. The dark branches were right what I was looking for.

The outfit is made by Leezu and I just used the clothing layers for today. The kinda ripped off lately was the perfect base for the idea I had.

For the shoes I was thinking a long time what I should wear. Boots? … to heavy for the filigree look with the branches… heels? … to elegant…

While I was trying several different shoes, a gift came to my mind. I got this shoes as a special gift, to remember something while I would wear them. The shoes are not common shoes, they are just leather straps wich surround the foot and the ankles and as a heel they just have one iron pin. I am sure, that those shoes are kinda painful to walk in and as well not very comfortable with poking constantly into the back of the heel *shudders* But since I did not have to walk a lot for the shooting.. it was worth a try :p The shoes kinda underlined the gothic character of the look as well as they were filigree enough to not overload the whole look.

With my addiction to tattoos, I certainly could not miss one of my favourite tattoos from White Widow 😉 . The “Cavage” tattoo is available on the We <3 RP event and it is a full body tattoo, which goes from the upper body,shoulders and arms down over the belly to the upper thigh of the right leg. That was perfect for the kinda ripped lately since the bare skin was covered by amazing ink then 🙂 The tattoo works for the normal avatar and as well for all popular mesh bodies.

Last but not least I added – to complement the shoes – I added a collar from Revolt ([R3]), called “Isobel” with some chains and buckles to bring back those accessories from the bottom to the top as well.

LOTD 09/28/2015 – Today at GizzA

Today was a cold but very sunny day. That inspired me to a more autumn, kinda ‘last sunbeam catching’ look.

The new “Sienna Ornamental” set from GizzA felt like the right choice for today.

The short leather skirt with the 2 slits definitely is an eyecatcher especially in gold and the amazing halterneck top with the deep neckline and the amazing wide and floating bottom is just a perfect match.

To add some more fashion to it, I put the “Quartz Glasses” from LeeZu and one of my favourite hairstyles from EMO-tions called “Rosi”.

Today I am very happy to showcase one of the latest releases from LeeZu. The new “Tangled Top” is an amazing summer addition to every girls wardrobe. The top is just made of chains only and just covers the minimum what is needed to not look naked 😉

I am totally in love with it, because this top gives so many options for mix and matches and simply is a super sexy must have. Some of you maybe remind the amazing “La GOa Top” as well from LeeZu, wich only came as a normal avatar layer, but the new “Tangled Top” has some more great options! It comes as a normal avatar layer, as a tatoo layer, PLUS it has appliers for the Slink, the TMP and OMEGA compatible mesh bodies. On top of that you can choose between a color and a black & white version.

The wonderful “Straight Denim Jeans – 2” are from Vista, yes you heard right, Vista which does the wonderful AOs that many of us use mostly ;).

The do clothing as well (I already posted some of them in the past) and the super tight jeans come in many different versions. You have the choice of 5 different sleeve length from long to short, so you can wear boots or shoes as you like and you always will be able to have the right height for your pants. The jeans as well come with a HUD to change the colors of the jeans to 6 different ones.

For the shoes I am wearing one of our own ones and the first original mesh made shoes for the Slink high mesh feet. The “Aria Stilettos” are available in different colors to mix and match them to your likings and style.

Since I am a friend of swag casual styles I added the “4Minute” jacket to my look. The jacked might be an older one, but it is the best I found in that style, which lets me still modify it to make it fit best for my look.

The great “Ashanti” hair is the contribution of EMO-tion for the actual On9 event. This short and ethnic hair just was the perfect addition for the look. With the loose hanging braids this braided updo should not miss in your closet ;).

Last but not least I would like to drag your attention closer to my fae on the amazing new “Malka” set from Finesmith. The set contains earrings, nose septum and a crown (not used in this post). The combination of filigree metals and a little gemstone at the bottom, matched the “Tangled Top” from LeeZu in a perfect way.

Wicca’s Wardrobe – Our first rigged, original Clothing Piece!

Today I have a very special reason for my post… a very special vest for a very special friend!

Many of you might know we are doing original mesh accessories for quite some time now but we never had a rigged clothing part yet… until now 🙂

I am very happy that I can announce we are now able to even make rigged original clothing!

What makes it even more special for me is that our first design was made for a very special Lady!

Zoomy Bluebird, our reigning Miss CoC 2015.

And even that contest is the reason for our new “Zoomy Vest”.

It was not even long time planned, that we make something for Zoomy. We were working on the national costume for Miss SL Poland 2015 (yes, that one will be showcased soon too I just need to finish the pics :p) when Zoomy was in my IMs and told me she was searching for a cropped vest for one of her finale stylings. She said she looked already for quite some time and could not find what she wanted or the vest was not cooperating with the rest of her styling. The more we talked the more I got an idea, but I did not dare to ask her about as I did not wanna bother or obrude her too much. Then she all of sudden said she never would dare to ask me to make one, as she would know I would be busy with the gown anyways. You cannot imagine my smile in that moment… Zoomy was always a very dear friend to me over time, a crazy sister in mind and someone who always understood my weirdness. So you can imagine which honor it would be to create a piece for such an amazing woman!

So I told her that I would LOVE to design something for her, but that I have to ask Veo and Red as well. We are a team in creating and already were working on other designs so I could not decide that on my own. I was very nervous what Veo would say about it though.

Next day as soon as I saw him, I jumped on him, making super puppy eyes and told him about the idea for Zoomy’s cropped vest. I scribbled my idea on a piece of paper and showed him and he just nodded and said “Oh yeah we can do that”.

You can imagine, it did not too even one second to jump back in Zoomy’s IM and tell her the good news.

With her special style, the vest had to be in a certain look to mactch the rest of the styling.

So while i was finishing the gown for JJ, Veo worked on the vest and not too much later I got my favourite IM from him that said “I guess I am done!”

When he uploaded it and showed it to me I had goosebumps… that was exactly what I had in mind and it was fully rigged and everything!

The “ZoomyVest” was born!

I grabbed it and immediately went to Photoshop to make the textures. Like you can see the styling was extremely colorful and wild so the vest had to match in there. I made 3 different textures and as it ould have been fate one even was close to the pants, which I never saw before 😉

Besides the 3 colors for Zoomy I already made some more, because I totally fell in love with that vest :p.

So we just had to get Zoomy to kinda custom tailor the vest onto her body with the dress under it, that again was a huge fun time when we were all standing on the platform and uploaded a bunch of different sizes until we had got it right ;). Somehow it felt like a real fitting for a super model*giggles*

It was a very special moment for me and as well for us all at Wicca’s Wardrobe. When Zoomy then, a few days later even won the Miss CoC 2015, you can imagine how much we were excited and happy.

And now I am even more happy, that I may announce that the “Zoomy Vest” now is in store in 8 different textures to match as many different looks s you can imagine from casual to steampunk and even to the zoomylishious new style trend KAWA Couture!

Spring/Summer 2015 – Color Themed

Recently we were asked for the new Eclipse Magazine to style according to the Pantone Fashion Color Report 2015.

“This season there is a move toward the cooler and softer side of the color spectrum. An eclectic, ethereal mix of understated brights, pale pastels and nature-like neutrals take center stage as designers draw from daydreams of simpler times.”

This description I found, when I searched for the trend colors of the actual season, because we had to choose 2 colors.

I decided for Glacier Grey and Toasted Almond to make my 2 styles and got chosen to be part of the magazine with them.

The first picture is my interpretation of the Glacier Grey color.

The basic for the style was an older dress of GizzA, the “Gloria Dress”, but it just was sp perfect for what I wanted to go for. Since I am rarely a friend of bare legs, I added the pants layer of the “Brigitte Body Tights” from Leezu.

I wanted the whole look more towards fashion than usual casual. I decided to go with the “Mia Madoona Chloe” hat from Miamai. The cool mask added some mystic, which I anyways love 😉

For the second style used something I made myself for Wicca’s Wardrobe. I fell in love with the colors Toasted Almond and sand. Both are part of the Spring /Summer 2015 colors as well.

The “Violetta Top” and the “Yves Pants”, both in Toasted Almond. Both with a very trend print and perfect for the actual season. To complete the styling, I chose to go with hair from enVOGUE as the “Clarissa” style in my view underlined the fresh spring look perfectly. To complete the look I added the “Lydia” booties in Toasted Almond as well.

I would like to give a big thank you to Tempest Rosca, who made this amazing pictures for the Eclipse magazine, giving me such a wonderful sunny and spring look 🙂

Inspired by Tom Ford S/S 2015 – How I put my style together?

I have to admit the idea to make a Tom Ford inspired look came not out of my head. There was a casting a few days ago and they requested a 70s Glam style after the S/S Collection 2015 of Tom Ford.

So I made my homework and sat down with google and watched first the fashion show of that collection and the I asked google for some pictures out of that show.

I tried to figure out what were the main aspects of the whole collection. Besides many details I saw black, black and black, some straps, a lot of sheer materials, shoes with high platform heels. messy hair and smokey eyes paired with nude lips.

So far so good. Since I did not wanna copy any of those stylings to as well bring an aspect of myself to it.

I started with the sheer part. I went through my inventory to find something that does not cover up the whole body and as well would not totally hide under all the mesh clothing.

In the end, the “Brigitte Body Tights” from LeeZu were the choice after trying on several sheer parts of my inventory. I liked it cause the arms and the lower legs are left bare wich gives a lightly sexy touch wich I found as well in most of the Tom Ford show pictures.

Now… find something that really shows the sheer and does not cover it up totally…

Regular pants would just have hidden the sheer body suit. After trying several pants – short, capri, 3/4 – I remembered the pants of GizzA’s “Donatella” outfit. With only one leg and the belt holding the pants in place that was the exact piece that I wanted. To cover the private part I wanted to use something not super solid and I put on the “Romance Black” panties from [Magnolia In], wich sadly does not exist anymore.

The top should be something that catches the straps/wrap character and as well the 70s Glam part. I decided to go with the “TSADE / Body Cuff” from .Shi. It looked good and as well the way I wanted, but I was missing something still. I tried several bra, s and short top, but either they did not look good or they poked out under the Body Cuff. Since this was going to be a casting styling, there was no way to cheat with poking through prims :p

Finally I found the “Daleth” top, as well made by .Shi. With the golden ornaments and the shining black texture it was exact the right piece for the look.

I saw no jewelry on most of the pictures that I saw and with the golden decorations at the top it looked ok to me.

Messy hair… sounds like an easy task but after trying some of the hair I already had and a lot of demos, I figured I need a short hairstyle as everything else was either poking into the “Body Cuff” or the top *sighs*. I did not saw any short hair on the pictures I looked and nearly started all over with a nother idea, when I saw the “Nyja” hair from eXxEsS. It was not exactly what I was looking for but after trying and looking at it for some time I liked it more and more 🙂

For the finish I just needed some smokey eyes and a light lip gloss wich not put any color on my lips, just a little shine.
