On the 14th and 15th of January Opium was holding a casting for the new Opium Evolution agency.
They gave 3 themes to all of the applicants. Vintage, Goth Couture or Apocalyptic. All the old opium models were allowed to cast and new aspiring models could try out as well, it was announced as an open casting.
After thinking about what I wanna do I decided to get for the theme that would be my own biggest challenge… I figured that many will go for goth couture as we all have our inventory full with black great clothing and accessories. Vintage… I really like doing vintage styles and I could not decide wich style I wanna go, there are so many like 20s to 70s and in SL you will find a lot of vintage stuff. So I decided to go for Apocalyptic.
With the theme apocalyptic I immediately have movies in mind like, Water World, Riddick, Books of Eli, Pitch Black or Mad Max. Kinda a post apocalyptic theme after a huge atomic world war, where people have to get back to the basics to survive. Ruined cities where a few survivors fight for their rights and surviving.
As you can see on a few pictures I was not the only one that came up with that idea. Malek Sahara as well dressed up for apocalyptic and I just asked him if he would pose with me for a few pics 🙂
I really had fun with this styling and competition for my self and to collect all the stuff together, that I needed. Together with some cool action poses and using the cool weapons I got it made my ticket into Opium Evolution 🙂

Again I have wonderful news of Sascha’s Design today. This stunning black gown is called “Essence” and as always for SAS designs you have various versions do wear this wonderful gown. For this creation you have 4 different skirts to choose from. For today I would like to show you 2 very different of them. The long fluffer skirt, that you can see above and the beautiful hipswirl version below 😉
“Essence” shows the great skills of Sascha Frangilli, when it comes to elegant evening designs. The clothing layers are made very detailed and the huge shoulder part adds a lot of glamour to the whole gown. The mixture of the silver flowers and the black sharp flexible and sheer prims in the back… stunning.
For the hair I chose something very special. One of the latest creations of Mysterious Mystica, owner and designer of Bizarre Hair. “Chanel” this hairstyle is called and it comes with the matching earrings to the hair jewelry. The hairstyle basically I would call an elegant hairstyle… but with a twist to become something special. I like it a lot of it is not just common elegant and has the special little something that makes it unique. The hair is fully scripted and you can change the color to 7 different ones. The matching hairbases are included in the pack as well. Some of the Bizarre hairstyles even have some special features like little attachments you can get over the menu.. I will not yet tell wich ones but I can tell you they are very cute :p. Who is Lovely… I guess there are not many people out there who do not know her. She is a crazy girl with a lot of skills, a sweet friend and a person that always can put a smile on my face. For example with her last story about the Finesmith models sale especially for her 🙂 She started to pay yula for certain models that she put in a box for her very own Finesmith models collection.
