Valentine Special 2012 at Miamai – Vol. #2

For a Valentine Special 2012, monica Outlander, owner and designer of Miamai, made some of her actual creations in a wonderful red color. For today I would like to look at the “Demi” gown.

This stunning dress could be the right decision for your Valentine’s evening. The long dress falls awesome to the ground with its flexi skirt prims. The front has a deep neckline and just 2 small lines over the shoulders that hold the top in place. The backside definitely is an eye catcher. The super deep neckline shows a lot of skin and the jewelry that sits right on the bottom of the neckline holds a few very filigree feathers. The jewelry part is repeated in the front at the neckline bottom as well. The gown as well has a very elegant look with all the awesome textures, combined with the feathers and gems. So a perfect combination of sexy and elegant for a special day 🙂 “Demi” for me is one possibility for a perfect Valentine’s gown, what will be a great surprise for your partner for your Valentine’s date 🙂

MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Japan 2012 by Azul

The beautiful and stunning dress for Miss Japan 2012 as well comes out of the house of Azul. Miss Tyako Coage, our lovely Miss Japan 2012 made her way to Mami Jewell, as many do every year, as she is one of the most respected designer for incredible evening gowns. Her skills for designing and texturing are so amazing that it is no wonder so many girls try to get an Azul gown for the Miss Virtual World competitions.

The “Tyako” gown is a very filigree and elegant gown that show perfectly that simplicity can be the key for beauty. The white satin looking fabric of the gown is beautiful highlighted with shadows and lights. The ruffles add even more elegance to the whole look and the back of the dress has a stunning deep neckline what ads even a very sexy touch. MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Ireland 2012 by Azul

The amazing gown for Miss Ireland 2012 was made by Azul. Mami Jewell, owner and designer of Azul, again surprised the Sl world with one of her stunning and elegant creations for a MVW competition. She made Miss Saleena Hax, Miss Ireland 2012, such an incredible elegant gown that she must have had turned heads on the Miss Virtual World 2012 runway.

The dark green combined with the intensive gold gives an extra elegant and sophisticated touch. All the ruffles that decorate the dark green satin just give you the imagination of how much work there must be behind the scenes. The gown has a deep neckline in the front what gives much room for awesome jewelry. The skirt itself is partwise decorated with a sheet lace covered by little silver shining gems. The long satin gloves complete the gown and it’s very elegant look. Valentine with Baboom – An amazing group gift!!!

Today I met Kyra Camel, owner and designer of Baboom. After a short time we discovered that we both are germans and we had to laugh about as the conversation started in english and it was to notice that none of us had english as her native language 🙂 We were talking a while and she gave me a few outfits to blog. I was amazed as she told me that she – like me – never learned Photoshop, she taught her all by herself what she needed. And I took a closer look at her textures and really was amazed. While I was trying her outfits and we were talking she suddenly dressed in a wonderful red gown telling me that this would be her group gift. I looked at her closer and asked her if she was kidding… but she said “No, the whole gown is my gift for all my group members”… and I immediately asked her for the gift to blog it. Show your teeth with Silken Moon

Lately Malicia Python surprised me with something I did not see until then… now you will say ‘ open mouth and show your teeth is old stuff and long existing’… yes but the difference is Silken Moon not only works with layers, alphas or tattoos!

One reason, why I never used this open mouth feature until now, was that I did not like most of the painted teeth that are just added on a makeup layer. Silken Moon tried it with adding some prims to make it even more real!

For now you will find clean pearl white teeth, braces, lilac braces and some golden teeth at the Silken Moon Mainstore. In the package you will find the alpha layer to open your mouth, some tattoo layers what makes it possible to wear them even without the prims, and the 4 different prims to add to make the perfect look. Since I have the Silken Moon “Show your teeth” pack I really enjoy showing off my braces 😉 With some freckles and that little brace you can create some cute casual looks 😉

MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Costa Rica 2012 by Son!a & Finesmith

The evening gown for Miss Costa Rica 2012, Laetitia Vella,  was handcrafted by Sonia28 Jie, owner and designer of the very elegant and sophisticated brand Son!a. Son!a is one of the well-known, established luxury brands in Second Life for gowns. As you can see on this wonderful design of the “Laetitia Dress”, the textures are very high-class and totally awesome made by Sonia. All the little fans are perfectly highlighted and the shadows are carefully set to give the full view of the skills Sonia has if it comes to textures and design. If you make your way to the Son!a Mainstore you can see that she made this wonderful dress in 5 more beautiful colors, so you can choose your favourite for yourself ;). The dress is shoulder free what gives a lot of room for the awesome jewelry made by Finesmith. A few days ago I got a wonderful gift from Morgane Bastista, owner and designer of the Morgane Batista Pose Shop. She made it possible – sent the “Urban Reality Gown ” from The White Armory my way and I was totally surprised what I got… such a great ready-to-wear outfit wich so many details!!!

I wrote Morgane to thank her and as we were talking we suddenly came on Halloween and I had the idea to style my new outfit as a Halloween look and I asked her if she would like to do it with me since I know she is same crazy as me if it comes to stylings :)…

Said… Done!

For my look, beside the “Urban Reality Gown, I chose the “Costa Rica Earrings” from Finesmith
Design and one of the new hair attachments made by LoQ.

Again and again when I take a closer look at the outfit, I discover another great detail… the back view is very sexy and with the chain that hangs down it really turns heads. The collar is as well part of the outfit and as you can see on the pic below it is very detailed and well done. You nearly have the imagination that you can grab the straps or buckles and pull her closer :p

As Morgane does such great poses we decided to use hers only for that post :), so all poses used in this post are from Morgane Bastista Pose Shop.

The skin was a gift from Malicia Python, owner and creator of Silken Moon. She made some fabulous skins for her new fall collection, that I will have on my post soon :). So “Clawdia Unholy Veined” is just a little sneak preview of her amazing work 🙂 The little blood dripping is just a tattoo layer that I found on one of my shopping tours 😉

News from House of Beningborough – “Sudevi”

A few days ago Bliss Beningborough made me very curious as she told me she works on something new… 2 days later she jumped in my IM and said she did it and I was so curious… and then she sent me “Sudevi” and I was speachless…

A laced gown with a big ‘veil’ made of straps from head to toe… a wonderful headpiece and a part that I would call face peace that comes down from the forehead over the eyes.

Oceane Body Design – Skins for the Fashionista

Lately Morgane Batista told me about her favourite skin maker…Oceane Grumiaux, owner and designer of Oceane Body Design. Morgane made me so curious that I had to take a look at Oceane’s store. I was not able to look for long before Morgane popped in there as well and made me meet Oceane herself. I have to admit as I was looking around I really was surprised… Such great realistic and detailed skins…lashes,  makeups, eyes and eyelashes… why I never was here before?!? Oceane herself is a very kind and nice person and we started taking. In the end she gave me one of her wonderful skins and one of her makeup packages. Please let me introduce “Terry”…

As many know I am a very light skin type usually and so “Terry” in cream was the perfect skintone for me. The body is wonderful and such high quality in every detail – really amazing! Such awesome shadows and lights give the whole skin a very realistic look.

What really got me was that all of her makeups fit perfectly on her skins. often if I was wearing lipstick the original lip color of the skin came through on the boarders or even through the whole lips. For that Oceane made a natural skin variation where you can add all of her makeups and it looks like they are originally on the skin.

On the top of this picture on the right side we have the natural version of “Terry” without any makeup. On the left upper side we have the “Terry Smoke” variation. The 2 on the bottom are the first of in total 10 makeups that come with the “Mistress Mood” makeup package.

The lips are stunning with a very light gloss, but not too much and the eyes are beautiful dark smokey eyes. I never thought that I could enjoy so many different red and pick shades and that each one looks so different on the total look. I definitely will keep Oceane Body Design in my mind now and I am curious about new makeups and skins in the future of Oceane Grumiaux 🙂
