This time of the year usually feels the best to me. I can be me without getting asked if I am ok or if something bad happened *giggles* The season allows all the dark fantasies, creepy imaginations and scary moments with Halloween coming closer and closer.

I have so many ideas in mind i really have to channel them and thin about what I want to post next. I know I still want to showcase some of the amazing designs of the Engine Room while it still is running but I had to bring todays pictures first as it was itching so bad in my fingers. I made this pictures already a few weeks ago for an amazing exhibit at the L’autre Oeil Gallery and it already was hard to wait until the gallery opened *grins*

It is not a secret that I do have an addiction for the more darker side of fantasy. Recently a few people asked me why I am always wearing black or dark colors. They tried to challenge or even tease me, that it would not be difficult to create dark images with dark colors, while it would be way more difficult to manage that with light or pastel colors. Now since I have an super cute evil Kawaii doll daughter, who does really scary but pastel colored art work and pictures, I thought I would take n that challenge and chose to do the color I usually avoid the most to create some dark fantasy – PINK!

CURELESS has a perfect gacha released not too long ago, which was perfect for that project – The “Moirai Sisters” gacha. I took the amazing torso as base for my look and mixed and matched other designs with it. Since I thought it is kinda a sick idea, I used the super amazing “Welcome Home – Asylum Photo Scene” as background and decorated it with several items from DRD, CerberusXing and Remarkable Oblivion.

For the pose, I went to Le Poppycock. I did remember, that she released a gachas with that amazing skeletons. When I arrived there, I discovered she did not only have one! With the “Nyctophilia” gacha I found the perfect poses/props for my idea.

A week before Halloween and still so many creepy ideas left… lets see what else I can come up with 😉

Wicca’s Originals @ Hallow Manor // October 16th – November 1st

The Lamia collar by Wicca’s Originals is another unnerving creation, perfect for a monstrous horror styling in the upcoming season of spooks. Named after the woman of Greek mythology, who was cursed with eternal sleeplessness for sleeping with Zeus and having had her own children slain, Lamia went completely mad and rapidly devolved into a child-eating monster. The legend of the Lamia became a kind of ‘bogeyman’, a story to frighten the young. Now you can share a piece of that curse, if you dare. This collar appears to bolt onto the upper torso, completely replacing the neck all the way to the skull, or you can leave the head absent entirely for a truly disturbing look. Strange, otherworldly ‘teeth’ emerge from many points on the collar, as if hungry for the flesh of any who are unfortunate enough to get close enough to be bitten and pulled in, although these can be turned off. It leaves one wondering what terror, exactly, the collar is covering up. The optional barbed wire tells a story of its own, of some brave soul who tried to strangle or contain the creature within, although that story does not end well. The Lamia Collar comes in clean or bloodied variations, spikes and barbed wire optional, and 10 color patterns for the collar itself are available via a HUD. It can be worn with the Maitreya, Legacy, Belleza, Slink Hourglass & Physique bodies.

RL sometimes really sucks… especially if it eats up more time as planned and it is not on your own to control it. I recently had a change in my RL job and the new association I am working for doesn’t seem like it is as promised when I had my interview there. I am sure many of you know that if you have your interview, everything sounds nice, all questions you had are answered positive, kinda like to good to be true and when you signed your contract, some things surprisingly change… I am sure I will work it out, but at the moment it just pulls on my nerves, it is time consuming and annoying.

It does hold me back from talking as much pictures as I planned and it does throw me back in my planned posts as well. But I will do my best to at least let all my dark visions for Halloween come true in time 😉

Today I do have some news from the mega cool Samhain event. It is a fantastic event, awesome venue and amazing designers do take part. My pictures today do showcase the incredible cool head piece from “CerberusXing”, the heavy arm chains from “Static”, the cool decor set from “Disorderly” and the amazing bra of the lingerie set from “The Rotting Lab”.

The uber-awesome face tattoo is a main store new release by “Eclipse Art Studio”, while you can find the amazing arms tattoo at the “Vegas Tattoos” main store.

Today I have a picture for you, which I created for my exhibition at the L’autre Oeil Gallery. They asked me to create 3 pictures for a special exhibition called “Halloween & Goth”. When I saw the Incredible “Plague Skeleton Creature” mask and hands from DRD, released at The Warehouse Sale, it was a must to use them for the picture idea that I had! The hands even come with a BoM layer to make a smooth seam between the hands and arms. While I was styling, I realized that CerberusXing just released new horns at Necrosis another cool event for this season you should not miss out!

The cool tattoo, which perfectly matched the look, I found at Nefekalum Tattoos and the awesome, filigree outfit was made by ERSCH.

This time of the year is like my personal Christmas season. I do love all the dark, mystic and scary things – I know… no news so far – and I can promise, that I already have a few more ideas in mind in that kind of style, for my next few blog posts 😉

Scary moments and moods! Again it was time for some creepy and horror inspired pictures *snickers*

This time it was the cool face tattoo from CURELESS[+] and the uber cool backdrop from CerberusXing that inspired me to do something dark and wicked. The “Crucifix Corridor” backdrop reminded me about a scene of the movie “The Nun” which lead me to 2 or my favorite horror movie series – Insidious and Conjuring with all its sequels and prequels. I never could decide which ones I loved more and so a little bot of all of them went into todays pictures.

You cannot make a picture with just a back drop and some face modifications, I thought and tried to put together a look that would work with what I wanted to showcase. Instantly the super awesome “Morgane Ribbon Heels” from [Gos] came to my mind. The were released for this month round of FaMESHed and I instantly fell in love with the way the ribbons reached down till the tip of the pumps. As always you get a wide range of colors with the HUD and as well the possibility to color the show and the ribbons, plus a few other details separately. I tried to show you a few possibilities above, but certainly you get way more than you can see up there 😉

For my outfit I chose and outfit I saw at the last round of ROMP, made by AsteroidBox and combined with the cool bracers from CerberusXing made the perfect look but still it looked a little bit too ‘cute’ for what I was looking for. With the cool horns from E.V.E and the evil hair from no.match I finally was satisfied with my look for what I had in mind. For the poses, always when I want to do something creepy and unusual, I went with the poses from Poseidon. I already wrote about them a couple of times, but I just cannot stop telling how awesome they are if you are looking for something that shows some action, or motions or something out of the mainstream looking.

I hope you enjoyed my little key keeper as much as I did and I will no go and watch some of the mentioned movies… maybe to get some more ideas for dark fantasy inspired pictures *wicked grin*

Legend says the Banshee is an omen of death. Their scream is supposed to herald someone’s imminent demise. With this creepy head replacer, it will be others who do the screaming. Black pits for eyes stare into one’s soul. Inhuman, large sharp teeth on an skull which is inhuman enough to be creepy comprise the face of it. The draped hood itself obscures the horror, when viewed from behind, possibly luring victims closer. Chain links are wrapped about the neck as if a heavy weight anchoring the spirit to the material world. An assortment of color combinations can be chosen, altering the bone and tooth color, the neck chain, and the hood.

Banshee is one peice: veil, face/head and collar. It is designed to replace your head so be sure to take it off or alpha it before wearing. Banshee will fit Lara, Hourglass and Freya. It comes with a HUD that offers 10 fabric colors, 6 skull colors, and 6 metal colors. Two versions of the head are included with purchase: one with the inner black head and one without.

Our Aura Mask is the perfect choice for a the Halloween season. Designed at its core in a traditional style, it departs from the usual with the wiring mesh covering the eye holes. The effect is quite unusual, and a bit unsettling, as it allows the wearer to see clearly enough but effectively obscures their eyes from view. Stitch work around the edge of the mask is carefully designed, giving it a rather elegant look. Comes in an assortment of colors to help accessorize any outfit you might wish to wear to a masquerade ball, or as part of a costume.
