Wicca’s Originals @ The Warehouse Sale // March 23rd – April 18th

Wicca’s Originals has released their latest optimal augment, the Kingsford Eyepatch. Bringing form and function together, this curious looking facial decoration serves to do more than just cover the eye with a stylish design. The eyepatch is outfitted with analog parts, including an optical zoom on the lens which can be adjusted from the dial on the side of the face, and a shielded concave lens designed to be able to maximize the capture of light and allow the wearer to see in near-dark settings. Being all analog, the Kingsford design requires no batteries or electronics, and is easy to service. The squeamish may find the way it is studded to the face uncomfortable, but nobody got anywhere by letting such hang-ups hold them back. This unrigged eyepatch can be worn on the left or right eye, on any head, and comes in 5 colors for the leather and 5 colors for the metallic pieces.

The Dash Mask, by Wicca’s Originals. This is the new gold standard for augmented reality. The mono-eye display allows the wearer to perceive a blend of virtual and real world experiences, or to read and respond to messages and browse matrix subnets while feigning interest in a boring meeting. It comes with a control panel for initial calibration and configuration, but after that it is controlled by reading neural impulses by induction using our new Neuro-Link technology. For aural experience, we’ve also made matching earphones – the Dash Earphones. Unrigged to allow a fit on any both, for any gender. Germany seems to be weird sometimes, especially our government. Now that we have our Covid numbers going down constantly, even with the new virus variations… they can’t wait until the numbers are as low as the experts ask for – no we have to break open schools and kindergartens as fast as we can. I mea i see the problems, do not get me wrong, but what does it help if we are back to sky high numbers in the next 3 weeks and then have to lock down everything again?!? Can we not just wait like 2 weeks more until the numbers are low enough before we plan things like that? Especially as it was clear, that the numbers dropped really fast when the schools finally were closed again? Would it not make sense to put some effort into the internet and into getting the needed hardware to the kids who are not having any still? The online platform for Bavarian schools (Mebis) looks and acts like they would have been made in the Stone Age some when and instead of working on it it feels like they counted on the fact that the summer will kill the virus and it is gone after that. They had oe year now to fix things and besides the fact they allowed Microsoft Teams, nothing really has changed – and that wasn’t the work of our government *facepalms* It seems more important to hold on exams and schedules instead of taking care of our kids and their health. We all know now, that the kids do not get symptoms but they can carry the virus around secretly and infect all their family. I just don’t understand all those rules and requirements anymore. WE can have the kids in school, shoulder on shoulder, but we cannot have theaters and cinemas open who definitely have way better hygiene management for infection control, than any school has – at our school we do not even have warm water for the kids to wash their hands as requested. But sure, lets open the schools again for 3 or 4 weeks to again close down the whole country as the new virus variations push the numbers up again – If they keep acting like that and with the not working vaccine concept (we simply do not have enough yet and some do not have a 100% protection – not to mention there is not even one yet for kids under 16 years, which is allowed officially) we will go back and forth until summer 2022 🙁

Again I am in a cyberpunk mood – no wonder we just had the Mainframe event! I am super sorry for posting this so late but lately my RL is completely upside down. My mom got a new knee, and I still have to take care of her, cook, clean and walk her dog at least 2 times a day while I try to shuffle my work around as much as I can. Sometimes I am just dead in the evening when I am done with all my day work and I instantly fall asleep on the couch even if I made me some coffee to stay awake for some SL work.

But I still love making pictures and I try my best to not come too much behind with my blogging schedule 😉

Wicca’s Originals has done it again with the Fox Glasses. Merging form and function, this set of eyewear dares to be bold and brings something fresh to the table. These will match any punk aesthetic well, rejecting what have become boring norms when it comes to eyewear. Whether you need them for eyesight, to accessorize, or to do some field work and want something that looks cooler than bulky safety goggles, the Fox Glasses fit the bill. The base frame and ear supports are made of a rigid, durable alloy rather than plastic, designed to hold up to more intense wear and heat. The lens frames extends from the lens to shield your eye on the sides, providing protection from dust or glare. The affixed flip-up UV shades provide shielding from intense sources of light, like a welding torch, or staring into the sun, if you’re into that. A faux ‘power button’ fills the gap between the frames, preventing any shrapnel from settling in the gap between. The Fox Glasses come in 10 colors and metals, and are unrigged, intended to fit any gender and any body.

Finally Friday – Hooray!

Today I would love to show you some of the mega, amazing designs released at Mainframe and Midnight Order!

Lets start with Mainframe, a cyberpunk, sci-fi orientated event, which had it’s debut last year already. With it’s great success it opened its doors again now in January!

What caught my eyes immediately, was one of the amazing release from Lanevo. This huge pack piece called “Maneater Machine” is just perfect for any cyborg, sci-fi or future orientated look, which steps away from basic human looks only. You can imagine an alien having technical tentacles, or a cyborg with super cool, multiple arms added on its back – it definitely does set a statement!

The “Cyber Pulse” gloves from L’Emporio&PL could even hold the control panel for that cool back piece at the lower arm where you can see all those cables and technical parts. The gloves are super detailed and certainly they are bento enabled. If you style for a sci-fi look you cannot miss Graves. Jackie is one of the best leather and latex designers I know and with her fantastic ideas and skills she brings us only the best for years now. The bodysuit is BoM and with that the perfect base for any cyber look! Another incredible store is Butanik83. I discovered them last year on the first Mainframe events and since then I always have an eye on their releases. Their designs are incredibly detailed and textured – very realistic!

What I will use for one of my next posts a well, as the pictures today do not really give a good showcase for it is the kick ass waist part – a metal spine replacement part, with a rough and basic look to it gives an amazing vibe for any android, gynoid or cyber avatar.

The boots with the awesome spikes at the front come from {PSYCHO:Byts} and were released at the Midnight Order event. With the cool spikes at the front and the tight straps at the thigh, they make a perfect addition to any kind of cool and smart looks.

Atlas Legs, the latest offering of high tech prosthetic by Wicca’s Originals. These legs boast lightweight, but industrial strength titanium bone replacement, with the lower leg being engineered with redundant structural integrity. An optional flexible poly-carbonate sheath can be worn to simulate synthetic skin. The knee is a heavily reinforced hinge-style joint, capable of precise, fluid motion, or optimizing your sprint gait. The ankle ball joint coordinates with the knee movement and internally stored accelerometers to offer great stability. On the underside of the feed are shock absorbing pads, used to cushion high speed impacts, as well as produce extra kinetic energy to push off from the ground when sprinting. These legs may not be able to let you carry the world on your shoulders like their namesake, but they’ll carry your body, and they’ll do it faster, stronger, and better than ever. Comes in 10 metals and colors, for Maitreya, Legacy, Hourglass, Freya, and Gianni bodies. Leg can optionally be worn without the foot and/or cover attached, making these compatible with all the best footwear.

Wicca’s Originals have finished off the Ayda set with the best, the Ayda Boots, which will get their hooks in you. Both disturbing and stylish, these thigh-high boots cover your entire leg, and are decorated with a series of high contrast painted panels up the sides of the leg. However, the more unique embellishments are the downward-curled hooks appearing at random intervals along the leg, and around the platform of the boot. The heel is likewise a backward-curled hook, tricky to get used to balancing in, but promising disturbing things to someone who gets under your foot. As with the rest of the set, a series of extradermal tubes shields wiring, oil, or bodily fluids carried throughout the leg. These come in two variations — clean and dark, with 10 or 20 color palettes, respectively, and can be worn on Maitreya, Freya, Legacy, and Hourglass bodies.

Wicca’s Originals continued to build on the Ayda set (Outfit and Collar) with the addition of the Ayda Arms. These are a modern take of vambraces, covering from high on the upper arm all the way to the wrist in a synthetic carbon fiber polymer. A series of small metallic plates are built into the material, wrapping all the way around the arm and covering it from end to end, offering substantial protection for the flesh and bone (or augmented substitute) hidden underneath. A few tubes are raised outside of the armoring, providing shielding for fluids like blood and oil, or wires. Scuff marks on the metal show the signs of wear and tear on these arms, evidence that they are not just for show. These come in the same 20 color palettes as the rest of the Ayda set, and can be worn on Maitreya, Legacy, Hourglass and Freya bodies.

Presenting DRD’s and Wicca’s Originals first ever collab!

Death Row Designs has teamed up with Wicca’s Originals to create the Alyx Legs. This prosthetic design is for the destitute out there, who can’t afford top-end medical limb replacements or don’t have access to a proper hospital. However, it’s also so much more than a simple peg leg. It sports a bucket thigh holder, with plenty of room to affix bumper stickers connected to a simple but functional hinge joint for the knee, which may squeak on occasion if left unoiled. The attachable wooden leg itself is the bottom half of a walking cane, complete with a rubber stop at the end to help with ‘grip’. However, it’s also so much more, to help you get a ‘leg up’ on your current, unfortunate situation! It has a utilitarian wire basket, to hold your various odds and ends in to help survive the wastelands. And for anyone who tries to give you any snark about your leg, there’s a sharp knife and back end of a sawblade where the foot might be, ready to deliver an attitude adjustment to them. The Alyx Legs are fitted to Maitreya, Legacy, Hourglass, Freya, and Signature Gianni bodies. The accompanying HUD offers both Wicca’s Originals and Death Row Designs textures, and the color palette has a full 21 color options, giving great styling flexibility. While we are sorry for your loss of limb, we won’t ask how, and simply hope the Alyx Legs will help make your unique situation a bit more tolerable.
