In Memoriam of Freddy Mercury

“Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara (5 September 1946 – 24 November 1991) was a British musician, singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. As a performer, he was known for his flamboyant stage persona and powerful vocals over a four-octave range. As a songwriter, Mercury composed many hits for Queen, including “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Killer-Queen”, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” and “We are the Champions”. In addition to his work with Queen, he led a solo career, penning hits such as “Barcelona”, “I was born to love You” and “Living on my Own”. Mercury also occasionally served as a producer and guest musician (piano or vocals) for other artists. He died of bronchopneumonia brought on by AIDS on 24 November 1991, only one day after publicly acknowledging he had the disease.” (Wikipedia)

Today 20 years ago, one of the most genius musician with one of the most famous voices, lost his life to his disease. GizzA right in time did this wonderful “Freddy Mercury” inspiration.

Wonderful News at Fellini Couture!!!

“Plum” is the latest release by Fellini Couture. This awesome purple, plum and lilac gown again is a little piece of art made by Joy Fellini! The top in the basic color with 2 huge and wonderful shoulder parts and a beautiful skirt. A flawless, classy and sophisticated look with GizzA ;)

Yesterday my sweet, litte sister Falbala catched me stying the new “Flawless” gown from GizzA as she was doing exactly the same just in another color and she said “Hey why not doing that one together?” – Good idea ;)! “Flawless” honors it s name 🙂 The long, smooth gown is floating to the ground from the chest on. The little details, like the beautiful flowers at the waist and the sides of the chest, again show the love for the detail and perfection of GizzA. The 2 trains on the sides, give an even more sophisticated touch to the whole design. The whole gown is made of one prim and is worked with wonderful fold, shadows and lights… simply perfect.

A perfect match for me to this delicate and soft colors was the “Rusalka” inspiration set from Finesmith and one of the  hair attachments from Vanity Hair.

New Collection by Pipins!!!

Today I have the pleasure, to have a new designer that I never before had on my blog… Angiliak Crystal, designer of Pipins. Pipins is a French store and they started in February 2011 in SL. At Pipins you will find makeups, clothing and outfits for all kind of situations. Anyways if casual, classy, edgy or avantgarde.. you will find what you search for at Pipins. I am very happy that I got one of the new avantgarde outfits to show it on my blog 🙂

“Dress Epine” this extraordinary creation is named and it really got me from the very first moment I put it on… Such an awesome and high fashion idea, edgy and extravagant like I love it :p The dress contains the hat with the long pins, the upper body part, the skirt and the basic clothing layers. The long pins we have on the hat as well return on the huge prim skirt. The whole dress made in black and white really is a must have for every daring fashionista 😉 Immediately after I snapped this gown I visited all the 4 places where Angiliak Crystal showcases her different creations and it really was worth it… If you search some to stand out and be different… you really should make your way to the Pipins stores!!!

News from Baiastice!!!

Baiastice has fantastic winter news! Sissy Pessoa, designer of Baiastice, created many new and stunning designs. For example the “La Romantique” skirt you can see above. A wonderful sculpted skirt with amazing details and highlights. All the sweet ruffles and the delicate, filigree lace at the bottom… awesome!

The “Big Fall Scarf” as well is one of the latest releases and it is a wonderful accessory that really turns heads if you walk with around. The cute “Profusion” shirt what I’m wearing here in purple totally fits to the skirt and scarf with its puffy arms 🙂 Every single part is so detailed and realistic it is just amazing.

To show the “Profusion” shirt better I combined it again, this time in champagne, with the new “Guyapi” long skirt, what is as well one of the new releases at Baiastice 🙂 For this style I as well used one of the new hair attachments by Baiastice called “Anaya”

Yesterday I visited Azlyn Vaher, owner and designer of Yasum,  as she wanted to gimme a sneak peek on her new store and as we were walking through I got stuck on this great pants…

…back home I sat on my new Fluke “Pose Chair” and thought about a styling for the great “Punk Pants”

I remembered the cute “Simple Cozy Sweater” from Kyoot, that I bought on one of my last shopping tours and it just looked right for the look I had in mind. The “Armada Boots” from Kookie with the cute socks as well matched the look. The whole look remembered me of being at the university way in the past so I had to add this sweet *Leather Messenger Bag” from HOC to make the illusion complete :p.
