Today they Bloggies took place, the Blogger and Vlogger awards done by BVN. I was nominated in quite a few categories and so when I got the taxi to the celebration event, I did throw on something as formal as possible for me – I do not own one single gown anymore – and took the ride to the Seraphim sim, where the event took place. I never expect to actually win something as the competition is huge and there are so many amazing people nominated.

A lot of people were there and it looked all very festive and classy – I again felt so miss placed *giggles*. I am not used to go to such celebrations or awards, eve if as a musician in RL we had some… I just can’t get used to it for what ever reason. When they started the announcements and who won all the categories (yes there were quite a few :P), I still felt somehow excited and nervous. Even if you never really count to win something, the hope that it nevertheless happens sticks deep inside somehow, I guess that’s human after all.

But all of a sudden I heard the speakers saying my name and I was like “Wait what?!?” and it seems, I won the Best Shoe blogger award! O…M…G…! Thank you so much for everyone that voted for me!

Again I am coming to you with some creepy news from Madame Noir, Vegas Tattoo and DRD. The amazing statues in my back and the cool rosary you will find at the Hallow Manor event, while the creepy tongue is available at The Dark Style Fair. Lets talk about the cool statues first. The Agony statue collection contains 3 different pieces ( I will soon have a showcase of all 3 in one of my next posts) – one cooler than the others. I do love the one with the book chained against the head the most. For the background I used some of the common parts of the new “Rosewood Asylum” gacha- as well made by DRD – available at Epiphany at the moment.

The scary looking rosary from Madame Noir is connected to some sort of eye caps, which cover the eyes completely. With the HUD you can customize the caps and the pearls to 6 different colors, while you get 3 different metal options for the lines and the cross. The Tongue – available at Salon 52 – as well comes with a HUD, that allows you 7 lips colors, 4 tongue colors, 3 metal colors and 4 colors for the spikes above the lip.

An event I did discover because of Vegas Tattoo is the Panic of Pumpkin in Okinawa event. Vegas Tattoo released that cool “Death Geisha” tattoo and it perfectly matched my todays style. What I love a lot about this tattoo is, that it goes up to the chin. It gives an even darker and as well cooler look in my opinion and it isn’t that common to have a tattoo coming up so high – I love it :p As always you will get 3 different shades for your tattoo – light, medium and dark.

Damn only a few days  left until Halloween finally arrives… so much more creepy and scary ideas and so short time! *runs back to her working platform, shooting new pictures*

It is incredible how many amazing terrifying designs jump on the grid at the moment! I know why I keep saying, the actual season is my personal Christmas season *grins wickedly*

At the moment I am watching TWD again and when I saw the new mask from DRD, it instantly reminded me about the “‘Whisperers”. With the flesh and metal parts it is a perfect combination of a scary, horrifying mask. The details are amazing crisp, but that we already know from DRD *winks*

For the top I wanted something rotten, ripped too and CerberusXing had the perfect design for that. Matching the basic apocalyptic scenery, I wanted some cool and special weapons and strapped, used shorts to still let the amazing stompers from DRD shine.

The collar is one of our latest releases for the Hallow Manor event and made the perfect finish for my look today, but I still would love to drag your attention to the closeup below… The incredible cool eyes are made by Madame Noir for the Salon 52 event. Together with the messy eye-shadow and lipstick from CAZIMI they completely kicked my imagination about what this woman could have been gone through, before she ran from that huge fire explosion. Certainly such a strong and powerful woman cannot be without a tattoo and it was no question what ink master she chose when she got it – Vegas Tattoo!

Wicca’s Originals @ Hallow Manor // October 16th – November 1st

The Lamia collar by Wicca’s Originals is another unnerving creation, perfect for a monstrous horror styling in the upcoming season of spooks. Named after the woman of Greek mythology, who was cursed with eternal sleeplessness for sleeping with Zeus and having had her own children slain, Lamia went completely mad and rapidly devolved into a child-eating monster. The legend of the Lamia became a kind of ‘bogeyman’, a story to frighten the young. Now you can share a piece of that curse, if you dare. This collar appears to bolt onto the upper torso, completely replacing the neck all the way to the skull, or you can leave the head absent entirely for a truly disturbing look. Strange, otherworldly ‘teeth’ emerge from many points on the collar, as if hungry for the flesh of any who are unfortunate enough to get close enough to be bitten and pulled in, although these can be turned off. It leaves one wondering what terror, exactly, the collar is covering up. The optional barbed wire tells a story of its own, of some brave soul who tried to strangle or contain the creature within, although that story does not end well. The Lamia Collar comes in clean or bloodied variations, spikes and barbed wire optional, and 10 color patterns for the collar itself are available via a HUD. It can be worn with the Maitreya, Legacy, Belleza, Slink Hourglass & Physique bodies.

RL sometimes really sucks… especially if it eats up more time as planned and it is not on your own to control it. I recently had a change in my RL job and the new association I am working for doesn’t seem like it is as promised when I had my interview there. I am sure many of you know that if you have your interview, everything sounds nice, all questions you had are answered positive, kinda like to good to be true and when you signed your contract, some things surprisingly change… I am sure I will work it out, but at the moment it just pulls on my nerves, it is time consuming and annoying.

It does hold me back from talking as much pictures as I planned and it does throw me back in my planned posts as well. But I will do my best to at least let all my dark visions for Halloween come true in time 😉

Today I do have some news from the mega cool Samhain event. It is a fantastic event, awesome venue and amazing designers do take part. My pictures today do showcase the incredible cool head piece from “CerberusXing”, the heavy arm chains from “Static”, the cool decor set from “Disorderly” and the amazing bra of the lingerie set from “The Rotting Lab”.

Today I have a picture for you, which I created for my exhibition at the L’autre Oeil Gallery. They asked me to create 3 pictures for a special exhibition called “Halloween & Goth”. When I saw the Incredible “Plague Skeleton Creature” mask and hands from DRD, released at The Warehouse Sale, it was a must to use them for the picture idea that I had! The hands even come with a BoM layer to make a smooth seam between the hands and arms. While I was styling, I realized that CerberusXing just released new horns at Necrosis another cool event for this season you should not miss out!

The cool tattoo, which perfectly matched the look, I found at Nefekalum Tattoos and the awesome, filigree outfit was made by ERSCH.

This time of the year is like my personal Christmas season. I do love all the dark, mystic and scary things – I know… no news so far – and I can promise, that I already have a few more ideas in mind in that kind of style, for my next few blog posts 😉
