Black Dreams with Circles

And again the styling started with a hat only…

This time it was one of the contributions of Valsnia for the Art in Hats event.

I was thinking a lot about that cool “Circles Hat” and how I could style it up. I tried various style categories and nothing wanted to look right. I wanted something strong and powerful, but still not too huge to hide the hat.

When I started fooling with the Scenery and all the amazing 22769 furniture an idea grew in my mind.

A few days ago, I got this amazing tight dress from KaS as a special gift, and I  thought about, if that could work for my idea…

The dress has many different options to wear, but the long tight skirt with the sleeved top, looked perfect for what I was going for.

With the high neck collar from Spacegirl, I was able to kinda bring the circles of the amazing hat back to the whole look.

First I tried all kinds of pumps and stilettos and as well over knee boots for the look, but all added a weird domme touch to the whole scenery and I did not want that at all.

So just went with simple not too high boots from Pixelfashion, wich looked right and perfect to the amazing furniture.

Overall this looked like a very modern set up and I really enjoyed doing this whole photo series 😉

Edith Piaf’s “La Vie En Rose” by Chop Zuey

Yesterday I got an awesome opportunity from Belle Roussel, owner and designer of Chop Zuey. I was excited all over, when Trinity came to my IMs asking me if would like to pose for one of Belle’s new gown… If I would like… sure I would love to! 😉

I saw Trinity in the pink version already and was kinda relieved as I could leave my medicals for my pink allergy at home 😉 A few minutes later Belle send me the black version of the new “La Vie En Rose” gown. I know quite some of Belles dresses but this one just blew me away. The combination of the lighter more sparkly texture and the black satin for the belt and the top really catched my eyes. The belt looks kinda draped round your waist with a huge black ribbon on the left side that carries a filigree lace part falling down to the ground. The top as well looks like wrapped around your upper body in a very stylish way. in the back you again have a huge black satin ribbon that holds the top in place to make sure all is covered what should be 😉 .

The dress is decorated with beautiful gems and jewelry. The front and back of the top carry wonderful brooches and the top end of the gloves, the cuffs, as well is made in a very luxury way carrying all those amazing jewels. Certainly you have a matching jewelry set as well with earrings,upper armlets, bracelets and a wonderful collar. The beautiful tiara as well comes with the “La Vie en Rose” gown and the whole look let you be the princess of an evening 😉

Miss Virtual World 2013 – Again BoSL showcased an amazing event on December the 15th 2013, with the finale of the MVW 2013 contest. Many countries were represented by amazing ladies and it was really an exciting event. Designers and models worked together for their 2 final looks. One evening gown and one national costume for each lady. Every year when I saw the MVW finale it was an exciting moment to see the results, that designers and models worked on for so many weeks. Last year I took the challenge to make a full catalogue of all the gowns and costumes. The idea must have inspired some bloggers this year and they started to do that for the MVW 2013 designs. I decided for my own not to do the same again and just would like to showcase my personal favourites. First I thought about to do my personal top 12, but then I figured that I like more than 12 and just thought about doing all the ones that really caught my attention in no particular order :)

The beautiful costume for Miss V USA 2013, Miss Imani Enzo, was made by Mila Tatham, owner and designer of SoliDeaFoliEs. For this special costume I guess the picture says more than words 😉 The Statue of Liberty for most of the people is the landmark of the USA. Mila Tatham made this landmark look very sexy and fashionable. The torch is for sure part of the outfit and you can choose if you use the one with the animation in it, like I did for the picture or if you use it without animation and play your own ones 🙂

MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss USA 2012 by Azul & Alienbear

So it seems today I will have my last Miss Virtual World 2012 gown 🙂 The competition is already 3 month over now but the stunning and beautiful gown of Miss VW USA 2012, Miss Michaela Benazzi, made by Mami Jewell, owner and designer of Azul, could not be missed in my MVW 2012 gown series 🙂

The “Michaela” gown like you can see it on the picture is the original version , that Miss Michaela Benazzi was wearing on the MVW 2012 runway. Mami Jewell created more colors and a fully cream-white version for all those who do not like the white-blue-red combination 🙂 The wonderful top is made with such lovely details, like lights, shadows and folds that you nearly can feel the sating that is wrapped round your upper body. The flowers are a wonderful decoration that hold the blue and red flexible lines that fall down in an amazing way. The delicate light white fabric that makes the skirt falls down in a dreamy flexible way to the ground. The skirt a well is ornamented at the bottom end and again shows how much love for the detail Mami Jewell puts in her designs. The “Michaela” gown you can purchase in many different colors at the Azul Mainstore.

The wonderful elegant jewelry was made my Alienbear Gupte, genius designer of Alienbear. She totally picked up the white-blue-red theme combines with the roses and created a wonderful filigree and sophisticated set, called “Michaela”. The incredible crown is made of 3 parts that you just add one after another. The necklace is made of 2 parts and the earrings and bracelet only take one attachment spot. Alienbear again showed that she is one of the most skilled jewelry designers in SL if it comes to ideas, designs and texturing. Valentine with Baboom – An amazing group gift!!!

Today I met Kyra Camel, owner and designer of Baboom. After a short time we discovered that we both are germans and we had to laugh about as the conversation started in english and it was to notice that none of us had english as her native language 🙂 We were talking a while and she gave me a few outfits to blog. I was amazed as she told me that she – like me – never learned Photoshop, she taught her all by herself what she needed. And I took a closer look at her textures and really was amazed. While I was trying her outfits and we were talking she suddenly dressed in a wonderful red gown telling me that this would be her group gift. I looked at her closer and asked her if she was kidding… but she said “No, the whole gown is my gift for all my group members”… and I immediately asked her for the gift to blog it.
