!Silken Moon – “Flapper” line!!!

!Silken Moon – Malicia Python again made a masterpiece of skin!!!

The new “Flapper” skin line has an amazing retro touch and for every single of the 5 makup versions Malicia made an awesome ‘silent’ skin and some matching eyes, what is great if you wanna have the real vintage retro look for example for 20s pics :p

“Brooke”, “Coco”, “Djuna”, “Fay” and “Thelma” each have their own eyebrows and even painted lashes!!!

As Malicia and me are both huge and crazy Rocky Horror fans… we discovered that in one of our midnight talks… I could not resist to try making a Magenta using “Coco”, one of the new “Flapper” skins and make her a little surprise 😉

Because of this idea Malicia created a little theatre in the store to set the new “Flapper” skins in the right light. It really became super cute you should take a look by yourself at the !Silken Moon Mainstore!!!

Mesh Mania at Yasum – Part I

Lately I was told to TP to a store named Yasum, cause they had amazing Halloween group gifts. As I am always on the run to find some new or special… I was curious and made my way to the Yasum Mainstore. The group gifts really were awesome and not just one.. you really should take a look. But that shall not be the content of todays post of Yasum. As I was roaming through the store, I more and more was excited about the clothing I saw there. High quality textures and wonderful ideas and designs… as I suddenly discovered who made all this great stuff… Azlyn Vaher!!! I know Azlyn for quite some time, from my older SL days and I remember some of her older designs. They never were bad, but what I saw in that new Mainstore really was making me speechless… especially her mesh division. For today I have 2 wonderful creations and I can say it will not be the last ones 😉

“Catsuit Night” is the first outfit I would like showcase. What really got me was, I never saw a fullbody mesh catsuit before. That’s how I imagined mesh, from the time I heard of it. The whole body covered with mesh and so tight that it totally lies on your body. It is so great to see your avatar moving without any edges and angles… The catsuit carries a wonderful squared texture in brown and black as a basic. Belt and top are as well part of the mesh prim. Only a cap and 2 shoulder decorations are additional prims.

The second outfit is called “Autumn Day” and the name is program… A perfect outfit, as well fully mesh made, for the actual season. The jacket has an amazing hood that hangs down at the back of the neck. What caught me most are the awesome textures that are put on the mesh prims so perfectly.The cute shoes are as well part of the outfit. As I said, there are more wonderful mesh news from Yasum, that I will show here on my blog soon. Glam Affair meets MADesign – Incredible Skin meets Éxtraordinary Hair!!!

After wearing my Glam Affair “Castalia” skin for so long aida Ewing could convince me with her new “Gio” skin to change my “Castalia only” times 😉 The new “Gio” skin comes in 5 different skintones and always includes a dark and light eyebrow version and even another 2 versions with dark and light hairbase!!! If you purchase the fatpack you will have 12 different makeups in all 4 versions! I really fell in love with this fresh and innovative makups and the skin itself. The perfect combination of lights, shadows and shine… simply amazing. I could not resist to combine the new “Gio” skin with the incredible extraordinary new hair-line from MADesign. They released a new couture line of hair that totally found a first place in my hair folder. “Fabulous” news by Fellini Couture

Again Joy Fellini designed a breathtaking new gown. The name “Fabulous” gown hits the nail on the head…

The gown is made in different shades of yellow, gold, pink and white and has a wonderful dreamy note what brought me to this pictures on the Lost World sim 🙂

All this wonderful ruffles and layers.. you only can imagine how long it took Joy Fellini to put this incredible stunning gown together. The beautiful huge headpiece as well is part of the outfit. And… if you take a closer look on the face… the amazing lashes with all the little pearls and dots in the same color of the dress… just an awesome idea and again the prove for Joy’s eye for the detail and the love for the little accessories!

Incredible Autumn News by Tres Beau!!!

Yesterday I had the great honor to judge at the Styling Forward contest with Frolic Mills and Kimmera Madison. It was great fun and we saw some  cool Halloween stylings. After the show, Kimmera, Edi and me, talked a while and had fun in some pose stores. During that time Kimmera gave me 2 of her new designs. Not long after I excused myself and went into my dark corner to look at the outfits… WOW!!! Both are incredible great and so perfect for the actual season! I was sitting over my inventory to find a few things to style this wonderful outfits quite a while, but then it looked like I wanted it to be :p …

The first you can see in the pic above is called “Flight”. The huge feather collar inspired me to use the great face tattoo from Miamai that reminded me of some feathers of dark birds as well. That brought me on those 2 crows and the dead tree in the back ;). The lipstick was made by Oceane and the earrings are one of my longtime favourite, the “Vivienne” earrings made by yula Finesmith. The boots and the hat are as well part of that amazing “Flight” outfit of Tres Beau!!!

The second outfit for today as well from Tres Beau will be the “Meryl” dress in red…

On this dress you again can see Kimmera’s skills and possibilities if it comes to designing. The beautiful corsage has a handpainted texture as usual for Tres Beau clothing. That for me it makes it very special, as you really can see nearly every brush line, that is needed to make such a wonderful and unique texture! I only can imagine how long it takes to draw and paint such a filigree texture. What I always adored on Kimmera’s work is that the textures seem to move with the avatar… the texture hardly gets stretched weird or destroyed while my pixels move. The awesome sheer skirt as well is a pice of art if you see how it moves with the avatar. The  right flexibility and moving time to let it look really real. The 2 big ornaments at the left hip and the head make amazing eyecatchers and give an extra touch of elegnance to the whole outfit. “Jenie” – The new mesh gown by Angel Dessous!

Mesh more and more enters Second Life. And Nando Korobase, designer of Angel Dessous works hard on more and more mesh outfits… with a great success it seems if I look at the latest release – the “Jenie” gown.

“Jenie” is available in different versions for the texture and I am sure you will find yours if you make your way to the Angel Dessous Mainstore. The slim dress makes a wonderful shape and the added floating skirt prims give a wonderful elegant touch. A sweet eyecatcher is the wonderful brooche that comes in black or silver with every verion of the gown. All versions are made in differnt black and white shades.

As I was talking to Nando lately, we were joking around a bit and came across all the crazy stylings that I made with his outfits and I promised him to do some pictures as a good girl with classy stylings :p. The “Jenie” gown was perfect for this experiment 😉 I hope I did succeed… 🙂 and could proove, that I am not only the weird, crazy Wicca and can do differnt… if I want to :p

I saw the new Prism store already^^ :p

Yesterday Journey McLaglen, designer and owner of Prism, showed me her new store that will be opened on the 1st of October and I have to say an amazing new and shining store. For sure you will find many of the well-known Prism outfits but as well some brand new out of her new Fall Collection 2011!

For example the “Gabrielle Sweater and Pants” that I am wearing for this blog post. This combination is perfect in colors and style for the actual season. The great paisley printed fabric is, as always, hand printed by Journey herself. She has such a perfectionism that every of her creations are a little piece of art.

The sweater comes in 2 different versions. A short and a long one so you are prepared for every weather situation 😉 Do not miss the grand reopening of Prism on the 1st of October 2011 🙂 and see all her new and long time favourite creations in a bright new light 🙂

Miamai – A special dress for a special cause!!!

“What happens when you ask a five year old self ordained Princess “What’s your dream gown, Raven?” Well of course you get the response of “PINK AND SPARKLY AND HEARTS AND PINK AND BUTTERFLIES AND MORE PINK AND BALLERINNAAAAAA!”
Luckily I’m *also* deep down a five year old self ordained Princess really, and my favourite things also happen to be pinksparklyheartybutterflyeyballerina stuff too. And so Raven Sparklefairy ordained that this gown be created, and who am I to argue with royalty? I hope that the little girl inside you gets as big a thrill out of this dress as we both did.

The Raven Sparklefairy gown was also made as a special 100% fundraising item to the Extend A Helping Hand charity now happening; this wonderful event run by Sanura Sakai is providing immediate disaster relief to the victims of the floods that are currently devastating Queensland in Australia.

Why am I involved? There is a family in Australia that have adopted me through Second Life, through a beloved friend of mine and although they aren’t anywhere near the affected state, they are still saddened by the news. And there isn’t a better way to cheer up a little girl than to make her dreams come to life, especially when those dreams result in one of the cheeriest things I’ve ever made.
At the moment Raven Sparklefairy – named after the little girl and her title – is only available at the EAHH location, but afterwards will be added to the permanent Black Label designs at Miamai.
