Suppertime!

What happens if you have 3 different designs you want to showcase and you try to combine them – I love challenges like that :p

Today it was the new ears from CerberusXing called “Sceleratis Ears” – they are available at the TMD event for August – an add-on for those ears from Nefekalum Tattoos and that cool tongue from unstable.I didn’t yet wanna give up on my new scars from E.A.Studio either, so that was quite a fun challenge to make that all work together. In the middle of the night – my brain must have been already fried and  I was hungry – all of a sudden the idea for this picture grew in mind… so yes… here we go!

A Look into the Mirror…

As I promised yesterday, I had to play a little bit with the new Fleur 2.0 head, which will be available at the LeLUTKA main store soon! Yesterday I used the shape, which came with the head without tweaking it. Today I got the amazing skins from Glam Affair, which were made especially for the new Fleur 2.0 head. After trying the all, I decided to do my first look with the “Muse “skin.

While I was playing around with the shape, I got such a cool idea, how I could showcase the new Fleur 2.0 head, the Muse skin from Glam Affair AND the amazing face mask from LeLUTKA, that is included in the Fleur 2.0 head pack. I could do a mirror shoot, facing my own evil side in the mirror! Since we have no real mirror option in SL yet, you always have to cheat around a little bit with PS and while you are shooting as well to get the right angle and view. What I do love a lot is all the cool face mods you get with the Fleur 2.0 head. For example on the good girl, you see those amazing smile lines, which make the look so much more realistic and unique. Or the incredible face masks – where I chose to wear the No. #1 of 3 that you get with the head update as well – on the bad girl.

There is so much more to play with, I am still not done with my Fleur 2.0 posts and pictures I guess *grins*

When I was styling and shooting todays pictures, I saw a lot of things on the news that made me sad again. It is so embarrassing, that in the 21st century we still have to talk about human equality – it should be our nature by now and not something we still need to debate about! We are all humans anyways what skin color, religion, ethnics or countries we have or come from. I was raised that way, that I should always see humanity in people first, get to know them and then decide if I like them or not, but not because of their visible trademarks.I am very happy that according to the news there is many people who think the same – sadly not yet all. There are enough things to dislike someone, but that only should be about character attributes and nothing else. I am not a dreamer… not everyone can go along with everyone else – we have our own character as well – but it shouldn’t be any thing that we judge about, before we actually know the person itself and know what we dislike about a certain person! In a world where we can fly everywhere in the world and can live where ever we choose, those idiotic, racist thoughts should be gone – ALL kind of them! We all have our traditions and no one will take them away, just because we allow another one to be close and have their own traditions and culture – it even can be interesting and exciting, at least for me.

So yes, STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS if someone tries to take them away from you!

Sometimes it is worth to think before you speak…

I thought a long time, if I can do a post with pictures like that without getting a shit storm started… but the idea I had for that post or better, what brought me to do pictures like that had a very special reason. I thought for along time to talk about bullying or psychological violence. These kinds of hurts may not leave a mark on someone that can be seen, but that doesn’t mean it would not hurt exactly like those – sometimes even more than if you would get a punch in your side. Physical wounds usually heal after a while and then you won’t see them anymore, psychological ones sometimes never fully heal and shadow us sometimes till the end.

My Grandpa once told me something when I was younger. I was sitting beside him when I was taunted at school about not being/looking like the majority of the class. While he was putting an arm around me and tried to solace me, he talked to me. Back then I didn’t understood what he meant, but later when I was a grown up (if I am fully grown up yet? I have no idea…), I slowly started to realize what he meant. He said “You are the one that chooses, who can hurt you.  You are the one to allow people to hurt you. So always think about it seriously, if it is worth to allow someone to hurt you!” First when I heard that from him, I thought he just is old and has no clue what he is talking about. I forgot about that for quite a while until I was older.

 

I always felt that I am not a great fit to my class mates. I didn’t behave like them, I didn’t look like them and I did not even want to. Most of my class mates are sons and daughters from lawyers, doctors, judges or something in that way. I was a teachers daughter, not dumb, nor stupid. My father died of cancer when I was 7 and my Mom was alone with me and my 3 years younger brother. Thank to the state, my Mom got the state pension from my father as teachers in Germany are employed by the state. We were really lucky as my Mom did know how to work with the money she had. We never missed anything – we went on holidays in summer and winter, we got birthday and Christmas presents and I never heard my Mom saying no if my brother or me wanted some ice cream while we were shopping (only if we already had some or we just had lunch or dinner). I only felt it, when branded clothing became important for some people from my class. For example I had jeans – cool jeans – but they were no Diesel or Lewis jeans. I never cared about that, I am more a simple person. If I like something, I won’t look what brand it is from or look if it would be expensive enough to buy it. Not to mention that I was a Punk back then anyways so jeans had to be modified and ripped anyways before I wanted to wear them. But that exactly seemed to be the issue. First I thought it must be the clothing that did separate me from many of my class mates and why they started to laugh at me – as a child you cannot just walk away and do you own thing… you want to be liked and you want some friends. So I went home and asked my Mom, if I could have some Diesel jeans. Her response first was: “Why, what is wrong with yours?” and when I explained it to her she said: “Sure you can have a pair for your birthday or Christmas, or you can buy them from your pocket money if you have enough, because they are expensive” Certainly I first thought that would be unfair until I was older and realized that it wasn’t just my clothing or what kind of game consoles I had.

I never was a stick-figure Barbie doll like all my class mates – I was the only one that had curves pretty soon, a nice present from the women on my mother side family tree. I did a lot of sports, because I loved it and not because I wanted to loose weight, or because someone told me to do so. I started with Gymnastics when I was 4 (until I was 22), I enjoyed riding from when I was 6 and later on I tried Volleyball and Swimming, too. So I basically was busy the whole week, everyday with some kind of sports and on the weekends there were contests for those. But that did not count either, it just did count that I wasn’t a size zero and that again was enough for some kids to pick on me and making fun out of me. I have to tell you… if that happens, it hurts like mad and that will not heal for quite a while. Especially if you later on meet guys that ask you for a date and then tell you you would be so sweet and nice, but with like 5 to 10 kilos you would be even more nice. All this bulling and hateful hurt doesn’t help teens to build up any kind of self esteem, which is so important to resist these same idiots who try to hurt you.

But that is not what I was trying to talk about, I don’t want your pity, because my life changed over the years and I understood what my Grandpa was trying to tell me. I do have true friends now and I enjoy my life as it is now. But sometimes I really get mad when I see people, groups or even websites, that bash certain people or groups, They think it is fun and never even think about how bad they can hurt other peoples feelings. They think they are right to judge or dictate others. I often ask myself what it would give them to do that… I do not have a real answer besides that their own life must be so miserable that they need to destroy others lifes for their own happiness. If that would not hurt others so bad, I would even feel pity with them and their misery.

How desperate you have to be, if you try to find something to hurt another person with it?!?

I know I won’t change the fact, that it happens everyday, everywhere anyways if in Real Life or in Second Life. But if I can just get one person to think about, before they open their mouth about someone or type (even worse) anonymous comments on websites about someone –  I am happy. I am not saying that we can not gossip or talk with our true friends about others and have our own opinions, but there is a difference if you try to hurt someone actively or if you just talk to someone in private and share an opinion. We do not get along with all and everybody, but n the end it should be a “live and let live” type of spirit. Both worlds are big enough for all of us and there is no need to destroy or eliminate someone. PLUS… never forget what you do to others… can be done to you as well if the time comes!

Maybe you now understand my drastic pictures for todays post. They only were meant to make inner pain visible and catch the mood of this post.

So my wish for 2020  – for both worlds – would be:

Sometimes just think before you open your mouth about something or someone. Think about if you would hurt someone irrecoverably and if you only get the glimpse of a “YES”, just keep your mouth shut or delete your comment where ever it was supposed to go!

Finally my favorite season arrived… October is here!!!

Now I can be freaky, scary and dark without being asked if I am ok or being called weird and a freak – not that I do really care during the year, but these days I can feel “normal” *giggles*

So the first one today – kinda my annual brake-free – features some new releases from Salt & Pepper and Nefekalum Tattoos and some of my long time favorites like CURELESS[+], UTOPIA@Design, Avanti and one of our latest releases, as it did fit in so nicely.

First I wanted to do a scary Medusa typical picture and the Salt release her “Guardian” for the Salem event. I t looked so cool, that I could not wait for another post and so I gave myself the challenge to find an idea, how I could use both. The result was the vision of a gatekeeper for an old, mystic cave with lots of cobwebs and spiders.

Recently I love to play with lights and projectors, as well as with new Photoshop tricks a lot. The result is, that I tend to use a plain dark background, to be able to add in some layers and basically try create the background in Photoshop. With additional lights and my new drawing pad it is a lot of fun to play with different brushes and as well even draw parts of it – even if iI really need more practice with that damn pad and pencil. Sometimes It feels even more easy to draw with the computer mouse, even if that sounds ridiculous for those who have more experiences with it.

I always loved strong contrasts. With many of my past pictures I wanted more depth as Second Life had to offer and now finally I found a way how I can do that with some tricks I found in Youtube tutorials. It took a while until they did what I wanted, but for me it was worth the time and I really found new inspiration and motivation with learning new techniques. It felt like unlocking new doors to have more possibilities to achieve what I was looking for a long time. I am still practicing and with every new picture I come closer to what I desire.

I lately was talking to a sweet lady, which I recently feel like a good friend. She does the wonderful sweet and smooth art, which I tried a lot of times but never could do – maybe it just isn’t in me or I did not yet find it… it always feels awkward when I try to do this kind of pictures and moods. She helped me with my tribute for Autumn Rose a lot, as that required exactly that way of art (HERE).

In the past it felt like I would have to have the ability to feature all kind of styles, but the more I turn into my personal favorite direction, the more I feel secure and my pictures do have way more impact  – at least it does feel like that!

I am not saying I will not still try other things, but I took the pressure of myself that I HAVE TO do so. For now I will do enjoy the dark season as much as I can and hope that I can get all my ideas done in time, before the cozy Christmas times will start… or maybe the dark times turn into dark scary “Krismus”? *eyes “The Nightmare before Christmas” DVD over there in the shelf*

If you try to search for ponygirl on the internet, you will probably find this on wikipedia:

“Pony play is where at least one of the participants dresses to resemble and assumes the mannerisms and character of an equine animal. People involved in pony-play (“ponies”) generally divide themselves to three groups although some will participate in more than one category:

  • Cart ponies pull a sulky with their owner.
  • Riding ponies are ridden, either on all fours or on two legs, with the “rider” on the shoulders of the “pony” (also known as Shoulder riding). Note that a human back is generally not strong enough to take the weight of another adult without risk of injury, so four-legged “riding” is generally symbolic, with the “rider” taking most of their weight on their own legs.
  • Show ponies show off their dressage skills and often wear elaborate harnesses, plumes and so on.

Pony play is sometimes referred to as “The Aristotelian Perversion”, in reference to an apocryphal story where the philosopher Aristotle was persuaded to let a woman named Phyllis ride him like a horse, in promised exchange for sexual favors: an episode depicted in various woodcuts and other works of art.”

When I saw that the first time, I thought like “WTF?!?” and then I tried to find more about it. If you dig a little bit deeper, you will find a lot of interesting and sometimes even funny things. Most of them looked, as there would be a lot of fun involved as well. I learned a term from Silly once when she said “What ever floats your boat” and that perfectly applies on such fetishes I would guess. Why we should judge about something, that can be fun and satisfy desires of someone? For me there is no reason and as one that certainly had to try several things in the past, I had the chance to try out a tiny little bit of that kind of roleplay myself. I have to admit I really had good times, even if it is nothing for me, what would be an everyday fun or desire 😉

When I saw this amazing outfit and head piece at the Kinky event, it immediately reminded me of those pictures and little movies and I had to give it a try. Certainly I wanted to have a fashionable ponygirl, so I decided to go for some kind of editorial ideas of fetish pictures in general. I even found some editorial fashion pony girl pictures from popular designers and musicians. The most impressive interpretation of that ponyplay in a fashion way I found at one of Madonnas live concert openings in 2005 (watch HERE). Inspired by that even more and because I adore Madonna’s creativity, I wanted to give it a try.

The “Pony Girl” outfit done as a collaboration between CerberusXing and Maru Kado is an ensemble of a body harness and the head gear, sold separately in either black or white. As always for both brands the textures are incredible awesome and the harness was made for the Maitreya Lara mesh body in a perfect fit. For the head gear, even an animation is included to have the mouth open to perfectly fit the bridle in between your lips. While I was looking for hair, which seemed not that easy when I first tried, as I did not want to mess up or hide that amazing head piece in any way, and all of a sudden the amazing “DoMina” hair fro Mina hair came to my mind, which I found at the last Fetish Fair. The hood with the ponytail fitted perfectly under the head piece! I have to admit, lately I practiced a lot of hair modifications and paintings for Second Life hair. The hair parts that are shown from the ears down are all not anymore true Second Life hair, but I am sure you are aware of that. The hair looks awesome in inworld, I just wanted to experiment a little bit with it for my todays pictures.

Another awesome idea and design I am wearing today are the “Rachel BENTO Clamps & Weights” from Salt & Pepper. When I saw them the first time, I wasn’t sure how I could showcase them properly but for this look they were just perfect. The clamps are not just decorative clamps they are genius scripted to make them perfect for any kind of fetish roleplay. In the box you will find the clamps and 3 different weights for the left and right nipple. Each weight pulls down the breast down depending on it’s own weight and it works as well with your physics and clothing. The handling is easy… you just add the clamps and then your preferred weight to see the effect. I bet you can imagine, how much that will add to your roleplay experiences! There is a version for Maitreya Lara, Slink Hourglass and Belleza Freya.

What is a huge part of todays look and its intensity are the tattoos of Nefekalum Tattoos. For this post I used the body tattoo called “From Ashes” and for the face I chose the “Egyptian Sun”. Both come as Omega appliers and can be used for all body and head types that support the Omega system. For those who already plan on the new “Baked on Mesh” possibility, both of the tattoos have the system tattoo layer included as well. I already tried it – it works just perfect for LeLutka Head and Maitreya Lara or Belleza Freya!

First I tried all kind of different backgrounds like a meadow, jumping obstacles (yes they are available in Second Life I found out!), barns and all kind of naturalistic sceneries and none them looked anywhere near “cool”.

When I did some research about editorial fetish and ponyplay pictures, I found a lot of latex and leather stuff and ALL of them had some kind of smoke in the background and not much more to that. Sometimes there were simple, single props involved like posts, chairs and all kind of furniture, so I decided to go with a simple fence I could lean against or sit on for the possibility to use some cool poses. Lately I realized that pictures that involve movement or a certain action – like leaning against something – make pictures way more interesting, that just standing somewhere with no connection to anything.

If you follow my blog for a while you might have realized, that I have way less casual content than before. Some people asked me, if I now completely said goodbye to casual content… no, not in general, but there is so many casual content around AND I just did casual for too long already. Lately I am more into some edgy stuff – not that I wasn’t kinda crazy before already – I feel it suits and inspires me more. In the past I had my focus more on the fact, to show that I can be very versatile and pull of every style in its own way and not in my way 😉 That lately changed a lot, as I feel way more comfortable to still do various styles and genres, but always in my own way and not following general mainstream or “rules”. I feels more honest and true to myself, while it still keeps me all kind of style genres open to play with. I hope you enjoy my journey of finding my own way of showcasing and interpreting things – thank you for all your support and all the nice word and comments through my personal Second Life adventures! Sometimes it needs a kind person and some amazing conversations to be inspired for a certain picture. This happened today when I was thinking about doing a post about some awesome releases of the Fetish Fair that is currently running for a few more days. It is always difficult to do fetish or BDSM related pictures if you don’t want to be dirty or pornographic but ther is even editorial fashion shoots in the real world that are none of that. For my post I did not want the editorial ones only, I wanted some kind of emotion to it as well and that is, why I did not just use a blank background with simplistic furniture only. D/s is something very sensitive. It is part of the whole BDSM content but it is only one of a million different shades. But many people do have D/s relation ships without even being aware of. D/s itself can have a million different shades as well. Sometime girls like the fact that they are taken care of in life and that they only need to please (please ISN’T always only sexual!) a man, to be his precious he would take care of. Some girls do like older men, because they feel more safe with them and they like if they say how it goes (NOT only in a sexual way). That brings me to my next point… D/s doesn’t always have to be a sexual thing. Making a coffee for the man you belong to, because he asked for it… we could argue now if he did order you to get him one or if he just asked to have one… when you bring him that without starting a discussion or telling him off to get it on his own… you obey… you obey to a wish made by the person you love. So D/s is way more common as that we think about. Same if your partner tells you, he would like you to dress in a certain way… you can say, it is because you just love him and do it, because you know you please him with having him the gift of you wearing the particular outfit. But on the same hand you can sa it was an order you did obey to out of various reasons and motivations. D/s doesn’t mean anything else than, someone that gives orders (wishes, requests, begging… call it what ever you want) and someone that is willing to full fill them, either for a certain result or just because out of love, dedication or devotion. Where I live, we are lucky that we can be free in our choices that we make about our relation ships – I know this is not the case all over the world. And so all can decide how they want to have their relationships without being pointed with a finger at someone. Did you ever think about why in Second Life BDSM or D/s is so big? Because not everyone has the possibility to live their fantasies! Even if I made horrible experiences in Second Life with that kind of roleplay and gave up years ago in SL, because of wannabes and people who think they know it all only because they read the Story of O or saw 50 Shades of Grey on TV, it seems there is attraction in that kind of lifestyle for many and why not just let them do what ever they want as long as they to not violate any law or feelings of others who are not want to be involved? I have to admit I met a few people, that are living this lifestyle in the real world too and I had incredible amazing conversations about so many different things with them – I would not want to miss them. Most of those people are incredible skilled artists in one or both lifes and the lifestyle must have something that touches those sensitive and very special people.

Since my post tunred out totally different as intended and the shoes didn’t get the deserved spotlight on the pictures, I just thought I do a clean close up!

Recently I had the pleasure to talk more to someone, that I did know for a while and when we met, none of us did talk about BDSM or D/s or something like that. We just were assigned to do a print-work job together. It was a fashion job so far away from all of that. But when I arrived there, the way of how that person was talking already got me to my toes. I can not say why, but the way he used the English language wasn’t what I usually experienced. I mean, I did know his Flickr as I always look though peoples Flickr when I am assigned to work with them, but you find all kind of artists on that platform so I normally do not jump to conclusions if I do not know those people. The way he spoke, the use of words I never heard before for just normal conversations, did build some feelings or emotions that I could not sort the first time we met. It was a great shooting and the pictures turned out fantastic. It wasn’t the only time I had the pleasure to work with that person and I do not even remember anymore when or why I started to call him Sir, just in a normal conversation. I remember quite well, how bad I was blushing in real life, when I realized what I just said, but it just felt normal and right. He did not seem irritated by that and since it felt right, it was just normal for me to call him Sir whenever we worked together. A couple times we even just made pictures together, without any particular job behind it and they are some of the best pictures I ever had together with someone. Not too long go we got to talk more in IMs here and there and I had the pleasure to know him more each time we talked. It feels amazing if you can talk with someone in a natural way without ulterior motives, just because you are friends and respect someone. There are no words to describe our conversations, but I feel very honored to be allowed to have them. They unleash creativity, they reduce anxieties about some things, they even are an enrichment for my English skills, as I learn new words and different ways to say things. After all it feels incredible amazing to have someone, that does understand you, the way how you behave, or who you are. I have to admit, I guess I can be happy that he is so far away as I have no idea, if I could stand those eyes and voice, if I would be near him, but since I am happy in my own relationship (Yes – my partner knows about our conversations // NO – that isn’t anywhere near cheating) and far away, I just immensely enjoy those conversations and projects and hope there will be many more. Thank you Sir, for inspiring me for todays post and pictures!

I was a Star Treck addicted since I saw the first episodes on TV back when I was a kid. I always was a little dreamer and the idea of having worlds out of reach, that no one yet had explored and either Captain Kirk or Captain Jean-Luc Picard just took us on their journeys to do exactly that, was just amazing. How often we sat, with the family or with friends, together in front of the TV and watched with excitement, what they would find and if it would be good or bad. For my age it first was Captain Jean-Luc Picard. I was about 10 years old when the first season came out on TV and when my mom realized I do love the whole story, she introduced me to the “older Star Treck” episodes with Captain Kirk and Mister Spock. Even if Jean-Luc will be my all time favorite, I did enjoy the older ones too, especially Mister Spock. The idea of having a life with no emotions, can be attractive if you are a very emotional kid and run into problems all the time*snickers*

That addiction to unknown space and fantasy stories did never go away… it did even grow over the time. Nowadays I still love Star Treck but as well all kind of post apocalyptic movies like Resident Evil, Mad Max, Book of Eli and many more. Fantasy or Sci-Fi as well is a genre that I do love a lot. The idea of machines that get some kind of personality like I Robot, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, Minority Report or Ex Machina as well are an amazing yet dangerous idea… if artificial intelligences decide, that humans are the major problem in the the end – I would not wanna be part of that. What was an interesting movie as well and maybe a future vision of Second Life, was Surrogates. A world, where people never leave home again and just operate machines to do their jobs. When I saw the movie first, I thought it would be a cool idea, but the more I was thinking about that it was a scaring vision to me. I do have a love for such fictions and I am sure a few were part of what inspired me for todays post.

When I saw the “Space 2099” gacha set from Salt & Pepper, I instantly felt the 60s/70s, retro mood of the old Start Trek series. Then I saw, that Ex Machina made a matching scenery to exactly that gacha, there was no way that I would not blog that amazing collaboration. 2 of my favorite designers, collaborating on a sci-fi inspired set – priceless!

The gacha set from Salt & Pepper contains a body, shoes with long leg parts, sleeves and 2 different interactive tools that cooperate with the clothing AND with the matching props and skyebox from Ex Machina!!! While you can have 5 different colors for the clothing you get 3 options of guns. each gun shoots a different color (slime, hexagon glitter, holo swirls), while you can remove all the splashes with the scanner, which as well is part of the gacha. Sadly I found no other person, as I first had the idea of having a pixel fight with someone and colored slime splashes all over, but then I came on a different idea anyways. Maybe I will do some fun with that interactive gacha in the future ;). The VIP prize, a visor with a color HUD to match the clothing colors. The matching gacha from Ex Machina, as well called “Space 2099”, contains various props, a modular tunnel system and a skybox as rare.

For todays post I used the 2 gachas, but as well some other matching designs from Ex Machina. Hatris Panacek recently released some amazing sci-fi items that just were perfect to furnish the skybox. I first made one level with the modular tunnel system and all the gacha props. When I rezzed the skybox, I immediately had the idea of having a laboratory inside of it as a second level of my interstellar home *grins*. Who does not dream of a separated work/life balance *winks*

When I was done and satisfied with the look (I will credit all parts properly in the end of this post) I again came back on my initial idea of foreign spaces and forms of life. That brought up the neat idea with the little dragon , that just was born in my laboratory. First it looked super cute and then it did demonstrate it’s power and I had to run :p

I do love to tell little stories with my pictures and with that amount of items I wanted to showcase, it had to be a few more pictures than usual, but they all went so well together that I did not want to part them for a post.

Again I used the Axis HUD from LeLutka to animate my face. I know there is various face expressions out there at the moment, but I still think, that LeLutka had the most genius idea with that animation HUD. I already did talk about my first steps and tries wit the Axis HUD (HERE), but I seriously cannot stop to tell how amazing that HUD is. you can make expressions completely personalized and to exact purpose you need it. Sometimes I even modify existing expressions (certainly I mostly use the awesome, pre-made expressions from LeLutka as well), if I just want a little tweak and like the general attitude of the expression. If you not yet tried it, you really should. There is as well a demo HUD available where you can test the way how it works at the LeLutka main store.First I wanted to include a gyazo of my LeLutka HUD in action, with all the worked bones, but  with all my excitement about taking pictures… I again forgot to do that. I will try to remember that for the net time, when I have it excessively in use 😉
