My Bloody Valentine with Prism

02-19-2015-02a

On the 14th of February SCALA was having an awesome ‘Bloody Valentine’ fashion show. Who else that Honey Bender could come up with such an incredible idea and as a creative director at SCALA he helped to make this come true.

For all who missed the show… there is an amazing video on youtube, so at least you can get an idea about what I am talking.

BLOODY VALENTINE VIDEO

I felt very honored, when SCALA asked me to be part as a designer and I made 4 very special deigns for that but that will be a another post 😉

Originally I was not counted in as a model as I try to avoid walking shows where my own creations are being showcased, so that I can fully enjoy the show and see what models did with my creations.

But I found my name on the list of the backup models and it was ok because usually at SCALA there are not really any dropouts. Since I am a good girl (yes even me sometimes) I went to the rehearsals so that just could fill in if really needed, since the walks at SCALA usually are not that easy.

After we tried the run order on this amazing maze –  yes we had a lot of fun by exploring where we have to go – we found one little issue and before I even realized I was pulled in for one outfit. And what me lucky girl got assigned?

PRISM! – YAAAAAY!

02-19-2015-01a

I know Journey McLaglen, owner and designer of Prism, usually gives me free reigns to style stuff and she does not mind, if I put my little weird and funky tweak on it :p

So … for Bloody Valentine show and me having free reigns … go figure, I had a lot of fun 🙂

The “Tikka” outfit contains a red, short leather skirt and a creme kinda brownish top with an amazing looking print in the front wich perfectly matches the Bloody Valentine Idea.

First of all I wanted some heavy boots to go into a contrast to the more girly looking short skirt. I remembered some really funky boots wich I got from Remarkable Oblivion (RO), called “Hobnails”. With the cool open front showing some hungry teeth those were the right choice for the themed show 😉

Now since the boots has such a grungy look I wanted to put on some socks and maybe some ripped stockings. :::insanya::: made those as a combination of exactly that… socks with ripped stockings underneath.

I did not wanna go with gloves so I thought about what else I could put on my arms, which felt kinda naked besides the amazing tattoo from Letis Tattoo.

I remembered a great arm gear from Death Row Designs. It comes for both arms but since I like asymmetric things a lot and both would have been too much I just put on the 3 parts for the left arm.

Since the whole look totally became crazy, I needed some crazy hair as well. Wich could do the job better that one of the amazing “Bizarre Hairs” that I have. Sadly the big folder I used to have disappeared some when and never came back. But some of my favourite ones, I got replaced by the very kind MyStiCa Matova, owner and designer of Bizarre Hair and so I am able to use the awesome “Angel of Elements” hair for today’s look.

To underline the Bloody Valentine theme, wich should make a total opposite to the usually sweet and nice Valentine’s Day, I wanted to go drastically on my makeup. REPULSE offers a lot of really creepy makeups and I could not resist to go for the “Worm Eye” for the right eye and a little “Forced Smile” for the left side of my mouth corner.

And last but not least, something I wanted to do in forever on a SL runway since I am used to do that in RL on stage when we play with the band… I wanted to smoke a cigarette and I know this was the only time I could get away with that :p.

I really had fun developing that look and I am very sure that the “Tikka” outfit from Prism would have never thought to be worn in that way 😉

Steampunk with Yasum

Yasum - Full

Sometimes you have those special moods… RL becomes very heavy and you kinda use a few hours in the evening to escape your daily routine.

So it was a few days ago when I was wandering around restless and did not really know what to do as dark thoughts were not willing to release my head.

Out of the blue I found myself in a conversation with an old friend. We know each other for quite sometimes and even if we do not talk on a daily base we seem not to forget each other.

She released a new, cool design kinda ready for the “October Fest”. She showed it to me and usually she knows me very well and when she said “Probably not your cup of tea” I had to grin. Usually she is damn right with her opinion of me but this time for some strange reason I had an idea in mind for exactly that piece she just created.

I am talking about the “Bavarian Shugar” pants of Yasum.

Yasum - Half

The “Bavarian Shugar” pants immediately put a steam punk idea in my head. With the sexy high-waisted but short pants, the cute suspenders and the sexy bra make a perfect ensemble for the October Fest, but as well for a super sexy and neat steam punk look 😉 .

The pants come with a huge HUD to change the textures on the pants, the buttons and the top t various textures and colors.

I paired the sweet ensemble with the “Steampunk Hat” as well mde by Yasum. The hat as well has  a huge HUD coming with , wich let you customize the various parts on the hat.

The wings are one of my long time favourite and I often use them for stylings as they are so super detailed and filigree. They are part of the “Fallen Aviator” outfit from E-Clipse.

The shoes are something, that I recently found on marketplace and just could not skip them for my closet :p

The “Hobnails” boots in tan, made by Remarkable Oblivion.

Final Fantasies with ~*S.E.*~ , Yasum & GizzA

FFF Logo

The FF7 Livestream RP Community is opening their doors with a bang. They host a 2 week shopping extravaganza from February 7th to February 21st. All items showcased there are some kind of Final Fantasy inspired as well as steampunk, futuristic and cyber punk orientated.

FFF 001

For my today’s look I chose the “Oculus Enhancements” by Souzou Eien . Thos amazing eye decorations really inspired me to do a styling that goes in a futuristic and steampunk direction.

FFF 004

The “Oculus Enhancements” are very versatile and you can customize nearly each part of it with a menu by touch. You can change the color of every part to make sure it will match your extravagant styling.

To underline the attitude of the “Oculus Enhancements”, I chose to wear some hair, I got longer ago from a gacha. The “Codie” hair by Discord Designs just looked amazing with the “Oculus Enhancements”.

FFF 002

For the jacket I took the “Vintage Leather Jacket” from GizzA. With the open front and the used leather look it was the best addition I could think of for this kinda special look.

Since it was open and I did not wanna put a shirt under it, I added some dirt and mud as well as some scratches to get this kinda apocalyptic look and mood, as if I just survived a fight;) .

The cool Steampunk Leggings” are made by Yasum. They originally were made for a steam punk event, but they just were perfect for my look. The come with a huge HUD wich lets you change colors and fabrics of the pants, the heels as well as from the added belt buckle. What really caught my attention was that the shoes are right connected to them and the heel was made with such love to the detail. All those cool little steam punk gears put together really caught my heart 😉 .

To see more of the amazing items made for the FF7 Livestream RP Community you just have to visit their amazing looking sim and look for yourself, if you do not wanna wait on more posts that certainly will come to showcase more of all the amazing items made for the FF7 Livestream RP Community grand opening.

Some Steampunk with LeeZu, EMO-tions & Finesmith

LeeZu Steampunk 001

Today I have the great pleasure to show you one of the latest releases of LeeZu. The “Deklannche” top is one of the latest additions to the new LeeZu Mainstore. I was looking for a styling for my LeeZu shift today and I wanted to use the “Deklannche” top in a different way. The top comes in various colors and each one has a HUD to it so you can even change and customize the fabric of the snake skin looking part.

LeeZu Steampunk 002

There is no alpha to it since it has so many parts where you can look through. An extra shadow layer as well is part of the top and you can use it if you are not running the SL shadows. The lines and the cream and brown colors brought me on that steam punk idea and I looked though my LeeZu folder what else I could add to make that imagination get real that built up in my head more and more. The “Heather” hot pants are very well mesh made short pants that totally matched the top and did not drag too much focus off the top 😉 I looked a while at it and decided I need to find something top cover my belly since it looked too much girly like instead of what I had in mind. I looked though all my LeeZu tops until I remembered the “Lea Vivendi Pants” those pants are very high waisted and the waist part was just  the part I was looking for. To cover my legs I chose for the “LaLun” tights and for the shoes I decided to go with my absolute favourites from LeeZu, the “Piccadilly Overknee Boots”.

LeeZu Steampunk 003

Now the base for the look was created and I had to find some cool accessories who underline and complete my imagination. I remembered the “Time Piece” of Finesmith. The amazing headpiece with all those little clocks hanging down from the branches. The cute butterflies make a wonderful contrast to the brown steam punk look. To make a smooth look for the part that is connected to the head yula Finesmith added some organic looking parts to give the whole head piece a touch of life, that totally makes that amazing contrast to the rest of the outfit and the scenery I chose for snapping.

The hair is made by Mirja Mills, owner and designer of EMO-tions. The “Jade” hair style is made of cool dreadlocks that are bind together to a kinda up-do look even if they have not a super elegant look, but I did not need an elegant up-do for this look so the “Jade” hair was just the perfect addition 😉 .

For the jewelry I wanted just some bracelets that underline the style and not get too much into the focus. I chose the “Wanderer Bracelets” from League. The wooden pearls seemed to be the right choice for me.

LeeZu Steampunk 004

The skin still is my “Wicca” skin that Malicia Python, owner and designer of Silken Moon, made for me, but in one of the skin tones she made for her new Eclipse line. The “Lumee” tone is a very light and sophisticated tone and I asked Mal if I could have one version of my “Wicca” skin as well in that amazing pale tone. So if you want to try that amazing, smooth and classy and elegant lumee tone you just ned to try one of the amazing demos of the Eclipse skins at Silken Moon 😉 .

The Water Fairy that wanted to Fly

Today I have something very special for you…

Yesterday I got an outfit from the October’s Trending Fashion Chamber, from October Bettencourt, owner and designer of Captive Designs. The outfit is called “Snakeskin Jumper”, made in brown and green tones. As I put it on and looked at it for a while, I thought that many people will style it just like a casual outfit and I wanted to try something different… And for some strange reason suddenly a steam punk fairy came into my mind… I know that this 2 words usually do not go together well but … it got stuck in my mind. The “Snakeskin Jumper” comes with mesh pants, a short layer and the awesome huge neck collar. I only added a fishnet bolero… or that what was left from it*grins* and those wonderful steam punk wings of the “Fallen Aviator” outfit  from E-Clipse.

The hair is one of the latest releases from Element’ Hair with the name “Camille” and the “Elise” ankle boots are from L&B. To make the steam punk feeling perfect I used the “Guildio” glasses from Crie Style.

While I was styling, I was talking to Malicia Python, owner nd designer of Silken Moon, on Skype. She is working on a special custom skin for me and she TPed over to my home to show me what she did new. While we were talking, I was arranging the scene and had pulled out the swing that I found longer ago and never used before. I was sitting on it and had still a white background and no idea for a picture yet. Suddenly Malicia said why not something fantasy? And we started to search for backgrounds. She showed a super nice one. I loaded it up to second life and she surprised me again with a curved background prim to have more depth in my pic. While I was snapping and crashing because of the shadows all the time I told her, how much I would like to learn more about PS and about some tricks and tips and I showed hr some pictures I really like. As she would talk about the weather, she suddenly started explaining to me, what I could do and try to make my pics more unique and more customized. She told me about features of PS I never heard of before and for me it was like … I do not know how to put it, it was kinda like a little child that left the house for the first time… there are so many possibilities and tricks… before I realized it was 4AM in the morning… I went to bed. The next morning I could not wait to sit in front of my PC and try what I learned the night before and after some hours… after I thought it was finished I could not wait to show it to Malicia and show her what I did with her advises… The results you can see in the 2 pictures of this post *smiles super happy*

Then she suddenly came up with a sweet short novel for this pics and style and that I will not hide from you!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for teaching, helping and making such a nice story for the blog Malicia :)!

The Water Fairy that wanted to Fly

ONCE upon a time there was a water fairy, she loved her fellow water beings, but what she loved most was the birds that flew over the lake. She sighed and said „I wish I could fly, too“ A water spirit heard her and felt like her longing would make her an easy prey. He told her he could give her wings, but this would have a price she must be really willing to pay.

The Fairy did not hesitate one moment. She followed the water spirit to his cave where he plucked her left eye out and put it into his own socket. The poor fairy was in pain, not only her missing eye hurt badly also her back felt like it was going to break. And even worse: as her wings grew, she could not breathe under water anymore. She swam up to the surface and gasped for air. The water spirit followed her and cackled as he saw her cry, because she realized her silly wish had banned her from home forever. As she wished for something that was not her nature.

And even today, when you come to the lake by moonlight, you sometimes see the fairy staring into the lake, where she could see her loved ones with her eye that was left with the water spirit.

GizzA at the Vintage Fair!!!

GizzA made a wonderful and cute contribution to the Vintage Fair. The “Steampunk” is a firework of great textures and primwork. All the little additional accessories give this outfit this wonderful steampunk flair. The glasses, the hat, the wonderful ankle boots with this sweet ruffles. For the textures as well GizzA chose the typical colors and fabrics 🙂 Again you can see the love for the details if you take a  closer look at the clothing layers… the leather stripes over the knees, the delicate lines of the corsage in the front, the net gloves and the cute shoulder ruffle… simply wonderful!!! So make your way to the Vintage Fair and get your personal GizzA “Steampunk” outfit 😉

Lexi Vargas for “Claim the Fame” – Week 2 – Formal

For the first week of Claim the Fame the designers had to create a formal attire for male and female and make a description that was read during the TV Show on Metaverse TV. (http://metaversetv.com/blog/2011/04/claim-the-fame-2/)

All designs of the Claim the Fame Shows are available at the KULT District (for surl please click here)

Lexi Vargas, designer of  Brocade Tiger, brought a neat firework of amazing textures with the “clockwork” couple outfit that was not just formal in my view 😉 As well I saw a light steampunk touch in that as well what really touched my soul 😉

Lexi Vargas:”‘Lady Clockwork’, a striking formal gown in the Steampunk tradition. A three-layered skirt gives depth with two layers of striped fabric topped with a draped and partially jeweled top layer in the signature clock print fabric. The fitted, square necked bodice is a combination of the striped and print fabrics and the same theme carries into the beautifully shaped and traditionally fitted sleeves embellished with puffs at shoulder, elbow and wrist. The whole ensemble is drawn together by a semi opaque bow and drape effect that makes a dramatic silk waterfall down one side of the gown. Sure to be an eyecatcher at any formal event where Steampunk/Victorian dress is required.

The male model strikes a dashing note in ‘Lord Gear’, a formal outfit that has its roots steeped in Steampunk tradition. There is much attention to detail in this suit. A duel fabric jacket of chocolate leather and striped fabric skims the shoulder line, with the same effect carried into the pants. These clever styling details make for a simply stunning outfit. The jacket lapels and collar are decorated with gears and cogs and the pants with buckles and straps. A cream satin edged shirt with frilled jabot collar and brooch completes the look. This outfit could be worn at any suitable formal occasion enabling the wearer to stand out from the crowd and it would certainly delight any Steampunk gentleman worth his cogs.”

News at Ezura!!! An amazing new outfit for a perfect couple :)

Today I have the great honor to show you one of the latest releases of the great Ezura Xue, incredible designer of Ezura. She again created a wonderful outfit named “Willow” This great outfit as a male and a female version what makes it possible to be the perfect couple 😉

Let me start with the female version of “Willow”

“Willow” for females  comes in 6 wonderful different options to wear. The first one we can see above is the most elegant  wide one with a long closed skirt that is amazing flexible. The hips are covered by a little part that looks like a short skirt over the long one and makes a lightly medieval touch. This touch is underlined from the amazing black brocade looking texture that covers the whole gown. The top is made like a wonderful corsage that accents the well shaped waist of a Lady perfectly. Only 2 lines hold the corsage in place and go over the shoulder to the back. Wonderful if you want to add jewelry like a huge collier 😉 The arm parts are as well awesome flexible and move with every wind breeze.

For the first 3 versions we keep the ‘long’ skirt variation to some point. On the very left you can see the version that is fully open in the front and the long skirt part in the back falls like a train down with an opaque texture that keeps the amazing fabric of the top and the gown version. For the second version in the middle we again have an open front but not that much as before and the fabric changed to a very sexy sheer one. On the right we have one version, that just has a high slit on the right side, again with an opaque fabric.

As we look through all the different styles of that amazing outfit i do not wanna skip that you as well have the choice of 4 different colors. Coal, teal, emerald and mocha.  You can as well wear that fabulous outfit as a stunning lingerie as we can see on the left side in the teal color.

For the example of the mocha version I chose the short version of this amazing outfit. As you can see with this outfit you can cover every situation you can think of. It is really an awesome chameleon that has lots of possibilities.

Now it is time to take a look on the male version. Again I would like to thank Harsch Sharktooth for modeling this great outfit for the post 🙂

The male “Willow” is the perfect match to the female one. The same great textures that you had on the skirt you find here on the jacket. The details on that outfit really blow me away. Every little part that you can think of is done with so much love on every single part. The white shirt, the tie and as well the waist coat that you can see under the jacked always is made of a lighter shade as the jacket itself.

Same as for the female “Willow” we have the colors coal, teal, mocha and emerald. In this pic you can see how great the shades work together for the different colors. Another great detail is the belt that lays so perfect on the hips. The pants are also made with great lights and shadows according to the color of the jacket and waist coat.

Overall you really should make your way to the Ezura Mainstore and take a look by yourself.
