Wicca’s Wardrobe: Lonely Dance…

The wonderful outfit that I would like to showcase today comes from [AD] Creations. Aliza Karu, owner and genius designer of [AD] Creations is well known for her extraordinary and unique designs. As she says by herself, all of her designs are made out of a mood. So basically if you wear one of her wonderful creations, you wear one of her moods 😉 . She always adds a special edge to her outfits like she did with the “Halo” dress. This dress can be used to create so many different looks from elegant to fierce or extravagant. The corset has an open front and the shoulders are free. For the skirt we have a huge balloon looking shape, wich ends in a wonderful lace part.

At the hips you have the same amazing lace and the collar as well is part of the outfit. What caught my attention was the incredible headpiece. The crow head paired with that wonderful and delicate lace veil – simply stunning.

The cool snake that I am wearing over my shoulders again is the gacha “Kaa” mesh snake from deviousMind.

The beautiful jewelry comes from Lazuri. The “Eda” set is one of my favourites from Lazuri. With the huge range of possibilities this set really can be worn to nearly every look. You are able to color the metals and stones with a pop-up menu and you can choose between 3 different styles with the same menu as well.

The super cool tattoo is from one of my favourite tattoo and makeup stores. White Widow, done by the incredible Julie Hastings. The “Lady Killers” tattoo comes in 2 different versions, one normal and one low. Julie even thought about the new Slink mesh hands and made her tattoo end before it collides at the ankles.

The amazing hair is made by EMO-tions. The “Yeriak” hairstyle is a wonderful and elegant up do with pearls that just matches amazing to my today’s styling.

The skin is my custom made Wicca skin in the new ‘lumee lunette’ tone. I fell in love with that new tone, because it gives my face such an amazing filigree porcelain look. To make it easy to match the slink hands and feet Silken Moon offers the Slink enhancement HUD to nearly every of their skins.

Wicca’s Wardrobe: I have my first own store!

Today is a very special day for me. I got my first Mainstore for Wicca’s Wardrobe. I recently started to make poses for my blog and I got asked again and again why I would not sell them.

I thought about and after being scared for quite some time, I started to sort my poses and tried to make a few mini sets. Each of my regular pose sets will have 5 poses, which you can buy single or even as a fatpack with a discount on it 😉 .

I thought about what kind of poses I would like to make. There is already a lot of amazing runway pose makers out on the grid and a few are very close friends of mine. I am not a very competitive person and so I decided to make special sets for a special purpose. For example when I needed some cool casual jeans poses and could not find what I had in mind I just made me some and called the set “Casual Jeans”, or when I wanted to make a post with a handbag, a more cool that elegant one I found non that matched and so the “Cool Handbag” set was born. Another time I had to pose a wonderful Azul gown with super huge flower parts and so the “Huge Flowers” set came to life.

My poses will always have a purpose for each set and maybe that’s why they will carry funny names sometimes ;).

For the opening of my very first store I wanted to make another set. I was styling the amazing “Cross Halter Dress” from R2, that I found at the Collabor88 combines with the huge “MTL” hat from [AD] Creations. This super huge hat again brought exactly the ‘find the right pose problem’ and I thought I maybe can make a new set for opening my first Mainstore with a “Big Hat Fun” set 😉

I wanted to have some not just nice and sweet lo9oking poses for that huge hat since the mesh dress is kinda special 😉

For my new brand Wicca’s Wardrobe, I wanted to make a new clear logo. I wanted to cut back on one letter only, but I wanted to keep the snake that was with me for such a long time now. Snake is my asian zodiac as well so it has a special meaning to me 😉

Gothic Lolita Feelings

Sometimes I get my dark fantasay and emo mood and this time I found the perfect outfit to express it 😉 The wonderful “Murk” dress from [AD] Creations.

The incredible textured ruffles, the amazing details on the corset, all the wonderful accessories and the beautiful eye mask give a perfect ‘gothic lolita with class’ look. The black and purple color combination underlines the strong gothic look in an awesome way. I did not wanna ad too much of other accessories as the gown itself already has those amazing features, so I only added some bracelets and a collar from LouLou&Co and the wonderful “Rosenkavalier” hat from Rozoregalia that brought back the roses in such a nice way.

Now I had to find a location that matched the look. I was looking around many places until I remembered a wonderful victorian place. Venexia, a super amazing RP sim. It has so many nice places and corners and if you are polite and kind and do not disturb the roleplayers, wearing your observer tag, this place is heaven for pictures.

[AD] Creations: Tribute to A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Again I have amazing news from [AD] Creations. Aliza Karu again did a special for the new project by [AD] Creations and LibriamoTutti – the BookLook! The challenge of this book is to choose a book and make a design that is be inspired by that book.

This month [AD] Creations’s design is called “Titania” and it is the dress for this month inspired by ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

The wonderful outfit comes with nearly all parts and you just need to wear it. The dress has an white opaque, satin looking corset. The sheer skirt with the solid bottom boarder gives a little fairy touch to the whole creation, which is underlined as well by the amazing flowers and shining gems. The hair and the wings as well comes with the outfit and make the perfect finish for this dreamy look. To make it even look more fairy like I decided to go bare feet and only ad the collar and some white bangles from Mandala to complete the look 🙂 The makeup is a combination of 2 different tattoo layers from Nuuna’s. Crazy Connection: The Soul Mirror

The Soul Mirror

Loki was an immortal, some even thought him to be a kind of evil god. In fact he was a magician who simply stole the life from others. Being a handsome man, he liked the girls wooing over him, wherever he met them. But he did not really care for the women he could have easily. And he could get quite obsessed with the ones that ignored him.

Once, his eye fell on a very pretty girl and he thought her an easy pray for his looks and charms. But she did not fall for him. Always polite, she turned him down. He sent her flowers, he sent her gifts and she always thanked him heartily – but her heart did not warm up to him.

He got mad at every man around her, even her brothers and made their lives difficult wherever he could. But that only made her care more for those who suffered his magical interferences. Loki got so frustrated about not getting his will, he decided to make her his by force.

He weaved a gown from cobwebs and added shiny mirrors made from frozen tears. When it was ready, he went to the girl under the pretext of saying goodbye. She let him in and accepted the farewell-gift. He begged her to try it on and she did. But as soon as she looked into one of the mirrors, she felt her soul being drawn into one of the mirrors. Her body stood there like a statue.

Loki snatched the mirror, her soul was trapped in and looked at her. “Now you are mine at last!” He cried out in triumph. She just looked at him with such a sadness, that what was left from his heart broke. Feeling he did something wrong for the first time in aeons overwhelmed in and he broke the mirror, and so the spell and let her go.

Having returned to her body she felt like she had fell asleep for some seconds. Looking at Loki clutching a piece of mirror in mental agony. He cut his hand and as his blood touched the magic mirror, some very old magic came to life. He was granted a wish. In his state the only thing he wished for was to be loved and cause no more harm.

He dropped dead to the floor – because this is the only way to grant someone never hurts somebody else again.

Crazy Connection: The question that matters

The question that matters.

Sirena was a young woman leading a carefree life. She had a good job, no worries and the men courted her, though she did not really care for them. All in all, she did not really care for anyone but herself, using the same excuses we all tend to use. “That is none if my business.” “What can I do about it?” or “I don’t want to interfere.”

She lived close to the graveyard and when the weather was fine, she took a shortcut there from the bus home. One evening, she saw a woman on a bench, crying bitter tears. The woman looked at her, but Serena quickly looked away. When she was about to leave the graveyard an old witch – by the looks of her – stepped into Serena’s way and asked straight away “Why didn’t you ask the woman why she cried?” Serena was a little scared and mumbled, I thought she was mourning, this is a graveyard after all. What can I do about her grief?”

The old witch looked at her sadly and shook her head. “Dear girl, you need a lesson in compassion. I hex you not to be able to leave the graveyard until someone shows you the sympathy you denied that woman.”

Serena did not know if to laugh or to be scared, the old woman had disappeared as sudden as she showed up. Serena headed for the exit but ran into an invisible wall. She tried to get out at another spot, but to no avail.

Whenever she tried to talk to someone, they ignored her. After a while the place took its tribute, her eyes burnt out from crying over her own sad fate, her nails grew into claws, in short, she became a fearful sight. People started to run away from her thinking her a demon of some sort.

One day, when she was sitting numbly on a gravestone mulling over her fate and feeling the pain of being ignored, she finally learned her lesson. For the first time, she did not cry out of self-pity, but for shame and pity for all the people she had ignored all her life.

Suddenly she heard a warm male voice behind her. “Excuse me, can I do anything for you?” She felt the curse break and when she turned round she saw a man, just like herself smiling at her. “I think you can go home now.” He said.

My personal favourites of MVW2013 – National Costume of Miss Italy 2013 by [AD] Creations

Miss Virtual World 2013 – Again BoSL showcased an amazing event on December the 15th 2013, with the finale of the MVW 2013 contest. Many countries were represented by amazing ladies and it was really an exciting event. Designers and models worked together for their 2 final looks. One evening gown and one national costume for each lady. Every year when I saw the MVW finale it was an exciting moment to see the results, that designers and models worked on for so many weeks. Last year I took the challenge to make a full catalogue of all the gowns and costumes. The idea must have inspired some bloggers this year and they started to do that for the MVW 2013 designs. I decided for my own not to do the same again and just would like to showcase my personal favourites. First I thought about to do my personal top 12, but then I figured that I like more than 12 and just thought about doing all the ones that really caught my attention in no particular order

The italian community was always very strong represented in many MVW challenges… like we had Mimmi Boa 2009 winning the crown, Mavi Beck in 2010 in the top 10, Angels Milena in 2011 in the top 12 and Anna Sapphire as winner of the MVW 2012 crown and again Italy was able to place on the winner stairs with a 1st runner-up in 2013!

Now come to one costume where I had a bit of background information from our Miss Italy 2013, Miss Natzuka Miliandrovic. She is originally from Venice in Italy and I really like if models try to represent their own home country. But Nat even went a step further and chose 2 italian designers as well for her 2 gowns. The national costume was made by Aliza Karu, owner and designer of [AD] creations. Since the costume did not have the typical italian colors.. what mostly are considered red, green and white like the flag… I asked Nat what the inspiration was for her national gown and what she said really kinda touched my heart…

Natzuka Miliandrovic:

“It does not make any sense, the one who knows you and does not love you, Italy.”
This was the feeling expressed by “Vincenzo Monti” and that represents the italian Renaissance, the historical period that redefined Italy and its artistic and politic identity in Europe. The inspiration from this national costume by Aliza Karu, comes from the desire and expectation of a modern cultural and artistic rebirth of my country. The costume is a quotations of the incredible work of art of “Antonio Canova”, the venetian sculpture that is one the symbols of the italian Renaissance. The dress flow softly in its precious textures and transparencies and it reminds the voluptuous mediterranean women portrayed by Canova, with a particular referral to his sculpture “La venere italica” of which was said “It flatters the paradise in this valley of tears” and that clearly explain that the meaning of the beauty, in Italy, it doesn’t lie in an empty admiration, but it’s a need for comfort the soul.”

The very artistic “Miss Nat” gown is partwise mesh made and as well has flexible prims. The sheer top gives a very sexy touch to the very elegant and artistic rest of the design. The shoulder part with the chain over the right shoulder that holds the little jewelry part is a great contrast to the ruffled arm part on the left side. The ruffles are repeated in the back for the amazing train and the little shining silver decorations you will find again on the wonderful skirt. The incredible head-piece, the wonderful tiara that as well carries the silver and the ruffles is part of the beautiful “Miss Nat” dress as well.
