Today our journey through the Capitol and the Districts brings us to District 1, wich stands for luxury. How else than Lybra Rage owner and designer of Lybra could have chosen this District 😉 .
District 1 is one of the wealthiest districts of Panem. Parents from district 1 seem to name their children after diamonds or precious gems, items or fabrics, like we have Glimmer and Marvel for the 74th Hunger Games. The children of District seem to be very pride in taking part in the Hunger Games and usually are part of the Careers, who band together to get rid of the weaker ones first.
I would like to start with “Glimmer” a wonderful light golden dress with an amazing golden back piece and a wonderful matching Tiara. The dress itself shows a lot of skin and besides the elegant and classy look that adds a sweet sexy touch as well.
The special for this outfit would be, that it is a limited gown with only 20 copies and there are not much left! So go and get your “Glimmer” dress and with that, a piece of the legendary Hunger Games Tribute Event done by Opium Evolution.
The second outfit of Lybra for the Hunger Games Tribute is the “Absinthe” gown. In contrast to the “Glimmer” gown this one is made of a dark golden fabric with a long back train, wich is decorated at the end with some amazing feather looking prims.
Those feathers are repeated on the marvelous head – piece as well, wich almost looks like a crown and perfectly fits in to District 1.

Today I was in a weird mood and because of that, i cannot really say something about my styling. It is these days, when you do not feel like you wanna do anything because of various reasons and so you just put on some stuff out of your inventory and experiment around, never being satisfied with something.
Time is your biggest friend if you do that usually… because after some time of fooling around with a lot of items and clothes you might get lucky and get something that just pulls you out of your mood and all of a sudden you like what you see. This is exactly what happened today 😉
I started with a necklace and a head-piece from Enfant Terrible. The “Lotties Darling Necklace” and the “Lotties Eyecatcher” in grey. This two pieces really look very playful and soft with the pearls, gems and ribbons, so I wanted to give it a little bit of contrast with something more harsh and simple. I found a “Harness” as well made by Enfant Terrible. It looked very weird and not really matching and I just kept on searching, but I did not take off the “Harness” again when I tried various clothing layers… I have no clue why I left it on, but when I saw the word catsuit pop up in my inventory it was kinda like a flash light in my head.
The “Shimmer” catsuit from VUI just made shining base for the “Harness”. Now the fantasy went off on me and I added the “Frozen Heart Wings”, wich were a rare gacha item as well made by Enfant Terrible.
The catsuit was lightly broken at the lower arms, cause I still had my Slink mesh hands on so I had to cover it up and went with the “Chloes” bracelets.
Since I anyways now had my hands deep down in my Enfant Terrible folder I just colored my Slink mesh feet black to match the catsuit and put on the “Wrapped Heels”.
You all know how bad layer catsuits look at the neck where they end so I wanted something to smoothen that break from the catsuit to the skin and just put my “Ninja” makup from Nuuna’s on.
I looked at myself and all of a sudden I remembered those awesome scary spiders from GSpot, that they had as gacha items at the Horrorfest 2013.
To bring the red of the spider back I decided to go with the red version of the “Fiamma” hair from Baiastice… one of my long time favourites when I wanna have some wild hair.
So sometimes even a weird mood can be good for something 😉

Today I would like to spotlight the hunt item of Lybra. Lybra Rage made an amazing full outfit including the cool makeup for the Murder Mystery hunt. The outfit is called “Clown Couture” and it did remind me on some of the puppets I know from my childhood. So i could not resist to go with the puppet idea ;).
The “Clown Couture” has mesh pants, a mesh top and a mesh made neck corset. All are provided in several sizes to make sure it fits your avatar. The hat and the huge neck ruffles are part of the outfit and the amazing white-faced makeup with the typical clown expression as well. A few days ago Persia Bravin stormed my inventory asking me if I would have seen the latest releases of Devious Mind and I was like .. “Oh uhm.. aehm .. no…” and was trying hard to remember that brand. I know, that I heard it before but I could not really recall what it was. Persia kept talking, while I still was thinking, she told me I so must see that and I need to meet the owner and in the end I was so curious that I TPed to the LM, Persia gave me and I just fainted. I landed at the !dm sim… sure… !dm was Devious Mind! For sure I know this brand and I as well have tons of her amazing outfits! *facepalms*
Persia kept saying me to contact the owner since she would be as crazy as I am :p . So I tried to reach Chandra Meehan, owner and designer of Devious Mind. She was offline but not too long after I left her a message she came back and we talked a while. She is that kind of persons I love from the beginning… crazy, wild, smartass, just like I use to be*grins*
We were talking about various things, until she asked me what my favourite colors would be. I told her that I basically like most of the colors and just have a pink allergy 😉 . Being a smartass, just imagine what she send me^^. But more about that soon. For today I have the new “Chained Lust ” outfit from Devious Mind. I am sure this outfit has many different facets with the latex catsuit and the amazing mesh chains, but I wanted to make something ‘Wicca like’. So I thought about, what I could do and as if it was fate, I had the the movie “The Crow” on my second monitor, as I started styling. Since I anyways liked the idea of Fetish Couture, I loved the pearl colored catsuit that goes down over feet and hands and only has that deep neckline in the front. You can choose between 3 different colors of the catsuit , as all 3 are included in the pack. The chains come in different sizes, so that you can make sure that the mesh fits your shape. I did not add much to the outfit itself, only a mask, wings and shoes and one of the jewelry sets of my brother Dahriel. The “Angelical Black” set comes with collar, crown, arm parts, earrings and a ring. Today again I would like to showcase one of the amazing designs of -the event- Hollywood.
The amazing “Giul Haute Couture Dress” from [Pure Poison].
The wonderful gown in black and gold tones has an extravagant look and together with the “Giul Lace Haute Hat” and the “Adore Gold-Onyx Collar”, both as well from [Pure Poison] it made a wonderful elegant and artistic style.
The gown is shoulderfree and the golden tones give amazing highlights to the black base. The head piece totally caught my attention with the lace looking front that repeats the train theme of the gown and the 2 horns that go high up in the air. The collar as well made of gold and black/onyx gems adds some elegance.
As I was searching for a nice location I came across one of the LEA sims. It is named “Rust” and was made by Cica Ghost. I spent a lot of time there, until I could decide where I wanna do my pictures. The amazing sim is so detailed and has so many amazing little places, it was really hard to decide for the spots I wanted to use.

Miss Virtual World 2013 – Again BoSL showcased an amazing event on December the 15th 2013, with the finale of the MVW 2013 contest. Many countries were represented by amazing ladies and it was really an exciting event. Designers and models worked together for their 2 final looks. One evening gown and one national costume for each lady. Every year when I saw the MVW finale it was an exciting moment to see the results, that designers and models worked on for so many weeks. Last year I took the challenge to make a full catalogue of all the gowns and costumes. The idea must have inspired some bloggers this year and they started to do that for the MVW 2013 designs. I decided for my own not to do the same again and just would like to showcase my personal favourites. First I thought about to do my personal top 12, but then I figured that I like more than 12 and just thought about doing all the ones that really caught my attention in no particular order 
The wonderful national costume for Miss V Finland 2013, Miss Irina Strazytski, was made by Kimmera Madison, owner and designer of Tres Beau.
What I liked a lot for this creation was the fact, that Kimmera mixed traditional parts with some modern looking but still traditional parts. The outfit comes a ‘ready-to-wear’ with the boots and the headpiece 🙂 The long wool pullover again is amazing textured and the huge fur on the back gives a typical flair for the scandinavian country. To know a bit more about the inspiration behind the “Miss Finland” costume, I would like to quote Irina herself 🙂
